Wolfie: I do not own Yu-Gi-Oh, I only own Yuki and all plot alteration to add her in. Also sorry it has taken so long to update this I have been working on another book that I just started. Now just to make things clear Yuki is using her Grandfather's deck just like Yugi does in the anime. The only differences will be certain cards like the fourth Blue Eyes White Dragon card that Kaiba was supposed to tear in half in the anime. I have also changed part of the outcome of this duel to make it more like Yuki is dueling and not like she's just copying the anime move for move. This chapter will also be in two parts since I realized that the last one was much longer than I would have liked it to be. Now please read and review.
Chapter 9: The Ultimate Great Moth part 1
Since the attack was over and Yami Yuki's Dark Magician was left untouched he disappears since he was still face down in defense mode. Weevil was left sweating and gritting his teeth as he growled slightly, his monsters were gone and the only way to summon his ultimate monster is with a weaker one. If he is not careful then Yami Yuki could completely wipe out the rest of his life points before he is able to finish summoning the monster that would help regain the upper hand for him. Though he was still safe since he still had that trap card on the field that prevents his opponent from attacking him, which means he should be able to summon his monster. Of course he didn't care if the trap card worked or not. It just means that Yami Yuki will be too busy with getting rid of the trap card to try and come up with a strategy to defeat his monster.
"Ha! Great play, Yuki!" Joey said, giving his friend the praise that he felt she needed to hear.
"She wiped out Weevil's army in one move!" Tristan said with a grin since for a second he thought his friend would possibly lose.
"All right! You've got him on the ropes!" Tea said as she was also happy that Yami Yuki was able to destroy Weevil's bug army.
"Yea! That's my sister!" Yugi shouted whilst still waving around the banner that he pulled from, somewhere.
"Ha ha ha! Yeah, right!" Mai said from behind Tea as she doubted that Yami Yuki could win this.
"Huh?" Tea asked as she turned slightly, seeing Mai a few feet away behind her with her arms crossed.
"Mai?" Joey and Tristan asked at the same time as they noticed the blond girl.
"Who?" Yugi asked cause unlike everyone else he didn't notice the tall blond until now and didn't know who she is.
"You losers don't seem to realize who your little friend is up against." Mai said, pretty much adding herself to the ever growing number of people who underestimate Yami Yuki. Her comment caused Tea, Tristan, Joey, and Yugi to turn towards her with frowns on their faces at the fact that people keep underestimating their friend, sister in Yugi's case. "Weevil's Regional champion. He's got moves your shrimp couldn't even dream of." Mai said causing both Yugi and Tea to grit their teeth in frustration.
'Ooh, that Mai! She's always butting in with her big mouth! Well, I'm not gonna let her trash my friends!' Tea thought to herself with gritted teeth as she seemed to be death glaring at Mai. She hated when people badmouthed her friends, especially when they are too busy to defend themselves. "Nobody asked you! So, why don't you just take a hike?" Tea asked in frustration, causing Joey, Yugi, and Tristan to look at her in confusion.
"And miss the chance to watch a champion like Weevil as he turns this around? No way!" Mai said as she pushed her way past Tea in order to be closer to the dueling platform.
"Yea, I mean, Weevil really came from behind to win the regionals." Joey said with his eyes closed and a small blush on his face as Tristan nods in agreement.
"He's tough and sneaky." Tristan said as he also had his eyes closed with a blush on his face.
"Whose side are you two goofballs on anyway?!" Tea exclaimed in frustration as she turned towards Tristan and Joey.
"Yea! You traitors, we're supposed to be here to support my sister!" Yugi exclaimed, just as frustrated as Tea is right now.
"All I'm sayin' is, for Yuki, this is her first official duel..." Joey said whilst trailing off as he opens his eyes in order to watch the duel again.
"And she's fightin' a champ!" Tristan said, adding onto Joey's statement as Yugi and Tea were so frustrated that steam seemed to be rising from their heads. Though Mai chuckling caused the brunette girl to glance at her over her shoulder with a frown on her face.
'Ooh, Mai, you troublemaker you think you know so much, but Yuki will show you.' Tea thought to herself as she continued to look at Mai whilst frowning.
"You may have flattened my army of bugs, Yuki, but you haven't won. I have plenty of tricks up my sleeve." Weevil said with a frown as he stares at Yami Yuki from his side of the playing field.
"You've done quite alot of buzzing throughout this whole duel, Weevil, but I'm still here awaiting the sting." Yami Yuki said with a smirk because Weevil is basically one move away from being wiped out.
"Since you're new to this whole tournament dueling thing, I'll try to make this simple for you. I'm gonna wipe that goofy grin from your face." Weevil said as he looked down at the cards in his hand before looking back at Yami Yuki with a small smile. "Now let's see which lucky bug gets to take the first bite. Hee hee hee hee." He said with his usual cackle as he started to pull a card from his hand before frowning, pretending to be upset. "Oh, but this little bug won't stand a chance against all your ferocious monsters. Oh, well, I'll play him in defense mode." Weevil said as he closed his eyes, faking being disheartened as he places his card face down in defense mode. 'Heh heh heh heh heh heh heh.' He cackled mentally as he knew his acting was phenomenal.
"Ha! The would've been a fantastic bluff, you should definitely be a poker player, but, I haven't forgotten about that little trap card you played." Yami Yuki said as she remembered quite clearly what Weevil had said to her when he played the trap card.
Flashback beginning
"With this trap card, you won't be able to attack me with any of your monsters." Weevil said with a smug smirk as he held up said trap card that he was talking about.

'The little weasel didn't trap me then and he sure as hell isn't going to trap me now. Weevil's trap will activate right when I call out an attack on his monster, and it'll destroy all of my monsters on the field... Oh I got! What if I can get all my monsters off the field first, and then get rid of the trap card?' Yami Yuki though as she looked down at her cards in her hand and went to choose one. 'Yea, that'll totally work.' She continued to think to herself for a few more seconds as she pulled the card she wanted to use from her hand. "Just to see the shocked look on your face once again, I'll spring your trap. Firstly though..." Yami Yuki trailed off as she showed Weevil the card that she was going to use first. "The monster recovery card. It lets me call back all of my monsters on the field. Alright boys, return to your cards!" She ordered as her monsters glowed before being sucked back into their cards.
Weevil was silent as he gritted his teeth, a small sweat drop dripping down the side of his face. Not because he was nervous but because he had to continue acting like the trap card was his only strong defense. In reality though he still had his ultimate creature that would most certainly guarantee him victory over Yuki Muto. After all, to him beating the girl who beat Seto Kaiba in a duel is like him winning over the AWOL Kaiba Corp CEO as well.
"Now your trap has absolutely nothing to capture, and once I have all my monsters safely back in my deck, the recovery card lets me draw a new hand as well." Yami Yuki explained as she puts her monster cards back in her deck and then shuffled it before putting it back down, having drawn a new hand. "Now then, all I gotta do is sacrifice one of my weaker yet adorable monsters and your trap goes bye bye." She stated as she pulled a new monster from her hand and placed them on the field in attack mode. "Kuriboh, attack!" Yami Yuki ordered as a brown puff ball with green clawed hands and feet and amethyst eyes appeared with only 300 attack and 200 defense points.
"Ah!" Weevil gasped in shock at the fact that his fake plan of preventing his opponent from attacking was about to fail but his true plan was very close to coming to fruition. "No!" He exclaimed as his trap appeared in the form of a parasite looking worm that shot forward became one with Kuriboh causing the brown puff ball to implode on itself.
Weevil: 555 Yuki: 1,050
"Sucks to be you Weevil, traps only work when they catch you buy surprise. Next time keep your mouth shut rather than cockily giving away your plan." Yami Yuki said with an almost taunting smirk as her life points only went down by 300 points.
"Hee hee hee hee. Ha ha ha ha ha!" Weevil began to laugh maniacally causing Yami Yuki to frown with a raised eyebrow.
'That's a lot of maniacal laughing for someone who's loosing by about 495 life points...' Yami Yuki thought as she gained a small sweat drop in response to all of the laughing.
"I didn't! I don't give a bee's behind about that stupid trap!" Weevil exclaimed which threw Yami Yuki off completely since she thought that was his plan all along. "I tricked you into recalling your monsters so you couldn't attack this!" He said as he flipped over a face down card he had as it is revealed to a some sort of larva monster, its attack climbing to 650 and its attack climbing to 520.
'Huh? It's just a little larva moth. That little bug can't be that much of a threat. What's this little weasel up to now?' Yami Yuki thought curiously as she wondered what Weevil's true plan is now.
"Hee hee hee hee hee. Sure, he's just a little slug now, but The Cocoon of Evolution will change all that." Weevil explained as he put that card into play causing Yami Yuki to once again be completely flabbergasted.
"I'm sorry, a what?!" Yami Yuki asked in complete confusion as she watches the card be put into play.
"Isn't it beautiful?" Weevil questioned with an almost crazed grin on his face as the Larva Moth begins to encase itself in silk.
"Eww, I think I'm gonna hurl!" Yami Yuki declared her voice filled with utter disgust as a sick look comes to her face at the scene unfolding infront of her.
"Eww. That's just gross." Tea said with the same sick look as Yami Yuki as a pink cocoon slowly encases the Larva Moth.
"Weevil's bug is sealing itself in a cocoon." Joey said though that was obviously what was happening as Yugi couldn't help but roll his eyes at that.
"Wow, thanks for that brilliant observation Captain Obvious." Yugi stated sarcastically causing Joey to give the 8 year old an annoyed look.
'I told those chumps Weevil would turn this duel around.' Mai thought with a neutral expression as she continues to watch the duel.
"Behold my Cocoon of Evolution!" Weevil said as the cocoon was now completely constructed with 0 attack points and 2,000 defense points. "Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Within that cocoon sits my tiny little Larva Moth, and over the next 5 turns he will undergo a startling transformation... From harmless caterpillar to unstoppable Great Moth." He elucidated with wild hand gestures and massive grins that made him appear obsessed and deranged.
"You sir, need some serious therapy!" Yami Yuki announced with a deadpan look towards Weevil and his weird explanation of what will happen. "Nevertheless that's not going to happen, cause I'm gonna break that cocoon of yours before the 5 turns are over." She uttered with confidence in herself and in her Grandpa's deck knowing it won't let her down.
"I don't need therapy what I need is for you to shut up and make your move, however futile it may be. Breaking it is easier said than done, Yuki, for my Cocoon of Evolution also gets a field power bonus from the wilderness around us, increasing its defense points." Weevil said as the cocoon's 2,000 defense points climbed up to 2,600 whilst its 0 attack points stayed at 0. "It'll be so strong, you won't even be able to scratch the surface! Just 5 more turns, Yuki. In 5 turns my Great Moth will fully evolve and finish you off." He proclaimed in an menacing sort of way as he held up 5 fingers with a grin.
'Damn, if what Weevil says is true, I'd better come up with something fast. That, that thing is getting bigger and stronger the longer I take to make a move. I have to find a way to get rid of that cocoon now. I can't let that Moth finish growing in 5 turns, question is do I have a card strong enough to stop it?' Yami Yuki thought with a frown as she glanced down at the cards in her hand. 'Sure I know I put my Grandpa's Blue Eyes card in his deck before we arrived, but the chances of drawing that card are slim, but right now I must hope for the best...' She contemplated as she pulled a card from her hand and placed it on the field in attack mode, hoping this monster may receive a field power bonus. "Gia, The Fierce Knight!" Yami Yuki bellowed as the dual lance wielding knight appeared on the field atop his horse as his attack was 2,300 and his defense was 2,100. "Shatter that cocoon!" She ordered as her loyal knight charged at the cocoon and tried to pierce it with his lance only to have his horse rear up in fright as the cocoon shakes and shudders.
"The field power bonus makes it too strong." Joey said once again stating the obvious as his eyes were wide with shock.
"That's one turn down! Care to try again? Ha ha ha ha ha!" Weevil asked tauntingly with a laugh as his cocoon stood tall and undamaged by the fierce knight.
'Shit, I was hoping that would work. This thing is definitely going be tough to crack open, and with each failure to do so I loose life points.' Yami Yuki thought bitterly as she now had one less turn to try and destroy the cocoon.
Weevil: 555 Yuki: 750
"Oh, no." Tea breathed out as she was watching her one and only girl friend with concern.
"Hang tough, Yuki. You'll pop that pus bag." Joey encouraged because he knows that if she can come out ontop against Seto Kaiba then his best friend can win this hands down.
"We believe in you big sister!" Yugi called out wanting his sister to know that they haven't lost faith in her so she shouldn't either.
"Ha ha ha ha." Mai suddenly began laugh from her spot next to Tea as said brunette looked at the blonde with a look of pure irritation.
"Just what do you think you're laughing at?!" Tea asked more than ready to tear Mai a new one should the blonde say something she doesn't like.
"All that stupid cheerleading you're doing. You make it seem like your Yuki still has a chance." Mai said as if it was the most obvious answer to give in this situation whilst looking at the duel with a smirk.
"Grr of course she does!" Tea declared as she honestly tried to lunge at the infuriating blonde that was basically disrespecting her friend.
"Don't listen to her, Tea." Joey said as he held back the brunette who's blood was boiling with unbridled rage.
"Any duelist that's ever gone up against Weevil's Cocoon of Evolution has been totally trashed." Mai explained with closed eyes and a smirk still on her lips as she crossed her arms.
"All of them?" Joey and Tristan asked in unison as they glanced towards Mai in utter disbelief at what she had just told them.
"No way, you gotta be lying!" Yugi stated as he pointed an accusing finger at Mai cause there was no way a cocoon card can beat everyone.
"But Yuki's got us to help her beat it." Tea protested as she momentarily forgot about her rage filled feelings towards Mai.
'Hmmph! She'll need a whole lot more than you losers.' Mai thought as she cast one last glance to Tea before turning her attention back to the duel.
"Hear it growing? The more time you waste, the more powerful it becomes." Weevil said as his first comment honestly made Yami Yuki gag in utter disgust at him asking if she heard it growing.
'Eww, just, eww... Okay, keep it together Yuki. Just find a way to destroy the cocoon and then this battle is nearly over. Then you can be rid of this creep and never have to duel him again. Remember, this is for Grandpa and I can't lose the only chance I have of saving him!' Yami Yuki thought as she gave herself a little mental pep talk to give herself a little boost in the confidence area.
"Ticktock, ticktock. Just 4 more turns until my ultimate insect emerges." Weevil said as he drew a new card from his deck and placed it in his hand. "Then you can stop worrying about how you're going to destroy it, and start worrying about how it's going to destroy you. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!" He said whilst putting emphasis on the words "it" and "you" as he spoke to his opponent as if he had already won as he laughed.
'Oh sweet Jesus his laugh is like nails on a chalk board!' Yami Yuki thought with a grimace as she drew a new card from her deck. 'Maybe preparing a defense would be a good move if I can't stop that thing.' She thought as she placed her Beaver Warrior face down in defense mode as a deterrent against anymore lost life points.
"Ha! You're wasting your turn. No defense will save your life points once my moth is out!" Weevil said as he pulled a card from his hand as Yami Yuki pulled a new card from her deck.
'Ugh I really could use some of your advice right about now Grandpa. Cause so far I've been drawing a blank when it comes to finding ways to turn this duel around.' Yami Yuki thought as she looked at her cards and then over at her smirking opponent. 'It's like Seto all over again. Weevil's confident that whatever's growing in that cocoon is something unbeatable, but there has to be a way to break that thing open and wipe that smug smirk off his face. How though?' She wondered mentally as she grits her teeth in frustration.
"Hang in there, Yuki." Tea said as she was once again looking up at her friend in concern since the cocoon is still on the field and there are only 3 turns left before it hatches.
"You gotta win this for your Grandpa. He's countin' on you." Joey said knowing that if anything could help his friend out of this funk it would be reminding her of her grandpa.
"I know he is, Joey." Yami Yuki said with an exasperated sigh as she looked at Joey out of her peripheral vision.
"Then you can't keep lettin' this little creep push you around. Yuki, you gotta get fired up!" Joey said with a serious look on his face as his comment caused Yami Yuki's eyes to widen in realization as her face broke out into a grin.
'That's it! Get fired up, oh god, why didn't I think of this sooner?' Yami Yuki thought as she now knew what she needed to do in order to turn this duel around.
"So do you guys sit around and work up these lame cheers, or do they just come to you?" Mai asked genuinely curious as to how these people could just say such cringe inducing cheers at a moments notice. "I mean don't you realize that your pep talk nonsense only distracts Yuki from the game?" She asked not even giving them time to answer her first question.
"How would you know? I bet no one's ever even wanted to be your friend, let alone care enough to cheer you on." Tea said trying to say something that would upset Mai enough to get her to back off.
"Friends haven't helped Yuki any, neither has an annoying little brother. She's losing. Huh?" Mai said only to look up in confusion and notice that Yami Yuki was looking down at her friends and brother and was smirking as she gave them a thumbs up.
"Yeah! Hey!" Tristan exclaimed whilst pumping his fist in the air as he realized what that thumbs up and smirk meant.
"Yes!" Joey exclaimed as well as he also realized what that thumbs up and smirk had meant.
"Woohoo!" Yugi yelled whilst enthusiastically waving his banner around despite the fact that he was honestly a bit lost as to what was going on.
"All right! Well, Mai, from the look on Yuki's face, I'd say that having friends an a little brother just did help her out. So there." Tea said smugly after turning towards a brooding Mai as she stuck her tongue out at the tall blonde female.
'Brat. What possible idea could Yuki have gotten from these mental morons?' Mai thought as she ignored Tea to the best of her abilities in favor of watching the duel not quite believing that Yami Yuki had an idea on how to win.
"Go, Curse of Dragon! Take flight!" Yami Yuki called out as she put the card into play as a dragon that seemed to be made of bones appeared on the field in attack mode with 2,000 attack and 1,500 defense points. "And I'll combine this magic card with it." She added as she put a magic card in play causing a transparent white light to shoot up from the field and surround her dragon. "Attack with Dragon Flame!" Yami Yuki ordered as fire erupted from the dragons maw towards the cocoon as the fire seemed to engulf the cocoon and the field.
"What do you think you're doing?!" Weevil asked wondering what Yami Yuki was possibly trying to achieve when his cocoon is stronger than Curse of Dragon by 600 points. "You know your little firefly can't hurt my cocoon." He said voicing his thoughts about how her attack would do no damage since the cocoon was so strong.
"Heh heh heh heh." Yami Yuki chuckled as she began to smirk in response to Weevil and his assumption that she was attacking the cocoon.
"What's so funny?" Weevil asked wondering why Yami Yuki was acting like he was the butt of a joke she had just made.
"Oh Weevil, poor, naive Weevil. Who said I was aiming for the cocoon? I combined the Burning Land magic card with my Curse of Dragon to burn down the forest all around your cocoon." Yami Yuki explained as the cocoon was now an ash gray and relatively unharmed but the field was now void of a forest.
"No forest? That means I lose my field power bonus!" Weevil said now realizing why Yami Yuki had targeted the forest rather than his Cocoon of Evolution.
"Duh. The cocoon was too tough to attack head-on, but without the power bonus from the forest, it's just one huge target for my knight." Yami Yuki stated as the cocoon's defense points dropped back down to 2,000.
"Aah!" Weevil yelled as he knew that his moth wouldn't be fully evolved if the cocoon was destroyed before the 5 turns are over.
"Now how 'bout we try this again. Gia, The Fierce Knight, attack!" Yami Yuki ordered as her loyal knight charged at the cocoon again and when he attacked this time it actually worked.
"She did it!" Tea said with a smile as she watched the cocoon glow with a pale green light as if it was going to be destroyed.
"Popped it open like a zit!" Joey exclaimed his gross analogy as he pumped a fist into the air with a wide goofy grin.
"Heh heh heh heh heh heh." Weevil suddenly cackled with a grin as the cocoon let out grotesque sucking noises as it began to break apart.
"What?" Yami Yuki uttered in disbelief as her attack should've destroyed the cocoon not make it start to hatch.
"Huh?" Joey asked just ask confused as Yami Yuki and the rest of his friends.
"I don't like the sound of that..." Yugi mumbled as he couldn't help but huddle a bit closer to Tea.
"Is it still alive?" Tea asked wondering why the cocoon was still standing despite the fact that Gia had landed his attack.
"I've got a bad feeling we're about to find out." Joey said as the cocoon continued to break away in little pieces slowly revealing the creature hidden inside.
"See anything?" Tea asked as they were all watching as closely as possible so that they didn't miss anything.
"It's still- it's still movin'." Joey said his mouth agape in shock as a cloud of dust engulfs the now fully shattered cocoon.
"You're surprised?" Mai asked wondering just how long Joey has been into duel monsters if he's never seen this card in play.
Yami Yuki gasped in shock at what she saw as the cloud dissipates and as the last of the cocoon breaks away to reveal the monster that Weevil was gloating about. The Great Moth as it was massive compared to her two monsters as it flew a few inches above the field. It was a lime green color with hints of red and blueish green with four legs, horns, spikes, and two great big wings on its back. The moth towered over the field menacingly and it was at this moment that Yami Yuki was glad that she wasn't afraid of bugs. Weevil was cackling from behind his ultimate monster as his smirk became a grin at the fact that he had basically weaseled his way into surviving for another turn.
"It must've evolved enough to survive." Joey realized as his companions all let out noises of shock in response to that realization.
"I told you Weevil was good." Mai said in that telltale 'I told you so' voice as she wasn't even shocked at this outcome.
"I'm impressed that you pierced my cocoon, Yuki, but still, you were unable to stop the evolution of my ultimate insect- The Great Moth!" Weevil said as his insect stood tall with an attack of 2,600 and a defense of 2,500.
"Now just wait a damn minute, you said it would take 5 turns." Yami Yuki said as she knew she had destroyed the cocoon on her 4th turn so why had the moth finished evolving when the 5 turns weren't over?
"Heh heh heh heh. So you stopped him one turn early. He's still strong enough to beat you." Weevil said since if he wiped out the two monsters Yami Yuki has in attack mode that would make him the victor of this duel.
"Oh, no." Tea said as she hated to admit it but things weren't looking like they would end in her friends favor.
"Big sis..." Yugi muttered as he gnawed at his knuckle slightly as he knew his sister was in a tough spot right now.
'Ha! I notice that the little dweebs aren't cheering now. The Great Moth is an unbeatable creature. They can chatter from the sidelines all they want, but it won't help Yuki one bit.' Mai thought smugly as she thought that their lack of cheering meant that they finally understood that they were just wasting their breath by doing that.
'Man, Weevil's turned this match around again, but I'm not about to give up.' Yami Yuki thought with clenched teeth as she was now extremely glad she eliminated Weevil's power bonus.
"Hee hee hee hee. So, Yuki, feeling outclassed yet? Or perhaps you're enjoying your first major-league dueling loss. Heh heh..." Weevil said though his comment did not faze Yami Yuki nor did it deter her confidence.
"I have more class in my little pinkie than you do in your whole body." Yami Yuki remarked causing Weevil to growl slightly since he was hoping to have caused her to feel humiliated. "So you have your prized monster, whooptie doo yay for you, but I'll still find some way to exterminate that oversized bug of yours." She said her words echoing the amount of confidence that she felt right now.
"Heh! You'll pay for that stinging jab with your life points!" Weevil exclaimed as he prepared to have his moth attack.
"Bring it on dude!" Yami Yuki shot back as she was fully prepared for this hence why she was so confident right now.
"Great Moth, take flight!" Weevil ordered as his moth began to fly higher above the dueling platform.
"An air battle, huh? Fine then." Yami Yuki said as the Great Moth was now flying at the same level as her Curse of Dragons.
'Heh! Yuki's dragon is no match for my Great Moth, and none of her land monster's have the ability to attack me in the air! Heh heh.' Weevil thought as his smug grin returns seeing as even without the power bonus his moth is still stronger. 'But which puny creature shall I obliterate first?' He wondered as his gaze fell upon the knight that sat atop his horse awaiting his chance to attack again. "I think it's high time I pay back your knight for demolishing my cocoon." Weevil mused as he continued to look at the knight who would be helpless against his moth's attack.
'Oh, no. My knight! He's the core of my attack force, my chances of drawing my Blue Eyes or even my Dark Magician are still slim. I can't afford to lose him now.' Yami Yuki thought as she now had to find some way to protect her knight from being destroyed or she had to draw the perfect card right now.
"This is it, Yuki. My Great Moth will crush your defenses, slay your knight, and blast your dragon from the sky." Weevil said as his moth seemed to rise its body up even higher with its attack preparation.
"Not if I can help it." Yami Yuki said as she placed a magic card down called the Pot of Greed. 'Please, please give me something I can use.' She pleaded as she drew two cards from her deck whilst putting in as much faith and trust as possible.
"But that's just it you can't help it, you can't help it. Moth Hurricane attack!" Weevil ordered oblivious to what Yami Yuki was doing as his moth began to attack, destroying her Beaver warrior.
"No! My Beaver Warrior, that was my only defense." Yami Yuki said as she had yet to look at the two cards that Pot of Greed allowed her to draw.
"Nothing can stand against the gale-force winds of my moth hurricane. Your knight will be totally blown away." Weevil explained as the attack was about to move on and wipe out Gia The Fierce Knight.
The next few moments seemed to feel agonizingly slow for everyone watching or partaking in the duel. Yami Yuki barely even looked at the cards she had drawn before putting both of them into play as the moth attacks. Then suddenly as the cards were put into play the attack dissipates as if it had never happened as the monster that was summoned bursts free from the light that created its hologram. A bone-chilling roar announced the creatures presence as it was revealed to be none other than the fourth Blue Eyes White dragon that Seto so desperately wanted. Joey, Tristan, Tea, and Yugi all stared up at the dragon with a mix of awe and shock whilst Weevil, Mai, and the other spectators looked on with pure disbelief. The dragon stood proud and protectively infront of the duelist that now wielded his card awaiting the command that would allow him to unleash his attack upon the moth. Though one more obvious thing aside from the sudden appearance of the dragon was that he was now in the space on the field that Gia had been moments ago.
"Wow, Grandpa's Blue Eyes!" Yugi murmured in awe as he looked up at the big dragon that he had only seen in card form till now.
"All right! Nice one Yuki!" Joey praised as he knew the only place that card could have come from was from Solomon seeing as Seto has the other three.
"W-What?! That's not possible! How, how do you have a Blue Eyes, and why was my moth attacking it instead of Gia?" Weevil asked as he stumbled back slightly in shock at the appearance of the rare dragon.
"He was my Grandfathers, and how he got here is simple." Yami Yuki said as she held up the now used up Pot of Greed card. "You were so certain your moth would destroy my monsters you ignored my final few moves. First, Pot of Greed." She explained as she placed the card in her grave yard section before holding up a trap card called Shift. "Then it was a simple combination of summoning my Blue Eyes and using the trap card Shift to switch Gia and my Blue Eye's spaces just as you attacked again. Which negated your attack seeing as my dragon is stronger, and you lose life points as a result of the failed attack." Yami Yuki added as Weevil couldn't help but whimper slightly at the fact that she was right.

'I can't believe this, she has a monster that's stronger than my moth...' Weevil thought as there was no way he could dig himself out of this hole as he stared at the dragon with wide eyes. 'No matter though! My moth still managed to attack her Beaver Warrior, which mean's the side effect of his attack is now in the air!' He deduced with a smirk as he overcame his shock in order to replace it with cackles much to Yami Yuki's confusion.
