Wolfie: I don't own anything related to Yu-Gi-Oh. All I own is Yuki and all plot alterations I make to add her into the story. Now please read and review and I hope you like the book so far.

Chapter 15: Everything's Relative

Up in a tower at Pegasus's castle a rope made out of ripped up strips of sheets and blankets was thrown out of a window. A kid with tan skin wearing a beanie and bandanna to hide his identity peeked out the window to look for any guards. When he saw none he slowly climbed out of the window using his makeshift rope to climb down to the ground below. As he got lower he ran into a small hiccup in his plan because he had run out of rope and he still had quite a ways to go before he was on the ground. He gulped slightly and began sweating because all he could see beneath him was the tops of bushes and trees. The boy had no guarantee that he would make it down safely but he didn't have any other option.

The weight of him hanging onto the last end of his makeshift rope made it come untied as he plummeted to the ground below with a scream. It was just a trip full of hitting branches and leaves as he lets out yells and groans. When he finally landed on the ground with a thud he surprisingly had no broken bones or anything like that. Slowly the now winded mysterious kid army crawled out of the bushes he had landed in with a small his of pain. Outside the room the kid had clearly been trapped in a man in a suit with cyan grey hair and a mustache wheeled a food cart up to a door. Said door seemed to be made of metal, it locked from the outside, and there was no way to unlock it from the inside.

"All right, you little runt. Here's your daily gruel. Ha ha." The man laughed as he open the door expecting to see a miserable little kid. "Huh? Oh, no." He said as he saw nothing but an empty room and a sheet rope hanging out the window as he rushed over to said window. "He's gone!" The man exclaimed when he looked out the window and saw nothing but the sheet rope.

Meanwhile in the lavish dinning room of the castle Pegasus sat at the head of the table once again. Sinister laughing echoed through the empty dinning room as the eccentric billionaire was amused by something. Turns out Pegasus was snacking on cheese and wine whilst reading an issue of a particularly funny manga. It had the barer of the Millennium eye's full attention as he took a big sip of wine from his glass. If it weren't for the fact that he was all alone one would say that he is becoming quite the alcoholic with how much he drinks.

"Ah ha ha ha ha ha! Ha ha ha ha ha! Where do these guys get all their ideas?" Pegasus asked as he continued to read his manga and laugh.

"Uh, Master Pegasus?" A man asked from behind him which broke the billionaire out of his fits of laughter.

"Hmm?" Pegasus hummed in question wondering who was interrupting him while he's reading.

"A thousand pardons, sir." the man who was the same one that went to feed the boy said as he was looking at the back of his employers head.

"Gorgonzola cheese and the worlds finest wine along with a copy of my favorite manga book. Times like this are more precious to me than any other. You do realize that, don't you?" Pegasus asked causing the man behind him to gulp and start sweating.

"But the prisoner has escaped." The man stated hoping that would save him from his bosses wrath.

"Which one?" Pegasus asked because he was certain his other prisoner had no way to escape on his own.

"The boy we imprisoned in the North tower. I have our men searching the island, but so far, there's no sign of him." The man explained since he has to inform his boss about everything so he is up-to-date on things like this.

"Ooh. I guess he didn't appreciate my hospitality. Well, no matter. I'm sure I know exactly where our little escapee is heading." Pegasus said as he puts his manga down and closes his eyes appearing sad that the boy ran away. "He'll seek out Yuki. Computer, request data on the status of the Duel Monster's tournament." He said whilst pressing a button on a remote as a huge screen lowered down from the ceiling.

"6 hours have passed since the dueling contests has began. 12 of the participants have been eliminated. Those that were defeated and lost their star chips are being removed from the island by boat." The computer explained as it showed a map of the island and then live video feed of certain things happening.

"And what of Yuki Muto?" Pegasus asked curiously as he help up the remote a little higher.

"Yuki Muto has to date gained 5 star chips." The computer said as a picture of Yuki's front profile and her side profile popped up on the screen.

"Wonderful. I expected no less. She is determined to work her way up in the standings in order to gain entry to my castle. Which is exactly what I want Little Yuki to do. We'll just keep our spy-cams trained on our star duelist. Sooner or later, the little runaway prisoner will confront Yuki for reasons of his own." Pegasus explained as if he was expecting this and had already come up with a plan.

"Hmm. Very wise, sir." The man praised before walking away seeing as he had no other reason to be here.

"Actually, the boys escape plays right into my plans, and I do have such special plans in store for Yuki today, plans I hope she'll find as entertaining as I do. Ha ha ha ha ha!" Pegasus laughed as he went back to reading his manga that he had put down moments ago.

Back with Yuki and her little group they were just walking around for the most part now that Yami Yuki had faded back to being normal Yuki. With 5 star chips in her glove that meant she was halfway towards her goal of being able to enter the castle. Her fiends and brother were happy for her but they were also concerned because who knows what Pegasus has planned for the heterochromic eyed girl. After all it's not like he's not prone to stooping to doing cruel and dishonorable things in order to get what he wants. If he actually did things fairly he wouldn't have stolen Solomon's soul just to get Yuki to duel in his tournament.

"Wow, Yuki. I can't believe you already have 5 star chips." Tea said once again sounding like she didn't think one of her friends could make it this far.

"Yeah, pretty soon you'll have the 10 you need to get into Pegasus's castle and rescue your grandpa." Tristan said as they were all walking down a dirt path that cuts through the forest.

"I wish I had more star chips." Joey said clearly upset that he only has 2 whilst Yuki already has 5.

"Don't stress about it, Joey. You're doing great. Trust me, you'll be able to help your sister out soon." Yuki reassured as she gave Joey a smile.

"I sure hope so." Joey said as he began to look up at the sky as he walks.

Flashback beginning

"Serenity's really counting on me..." Joey said as he thought back to the ending of the video that his sister sent him.

Flashback ending

"And I won't let her down." Joey stated with a smile as he closed his eyes and hung his head slightly.

"Aah! Help!" A boy shouted from nearby sounding like he was in trouble.

"Huh?" Joey asked when he heard they yell as his eyes snapped open.

"What's that?" Tristan asked as they all stopped in order to look for the source of the scream.

"Help me, somebody! Please! Aah! Let go of me! Somebody help me!" The boy shouted again as he was further up the path in a headlock getting dragged away by Kemo.

"Hold on, kid. We're comin'." Tristan called out as they were sprinting towards the screaming kid as Kemo turns around.

"Help! You gotta help me!" The boy shouted as he was struggling in Kemo's hold as said man didn't care if he was hurting the boy or not.

"Let that kid go!" Tristan exclaimed as he rushed at Kemo with a raised fist.

"Help! Help me, please!" The boy shouted more frantically when he saw the approaching teens.

"I'm on the big guy!" Tristan stated as he rushed at Kemo and got him to let the kid go before judo flipping Kemo.

"Aah!" Kemo yelled in shock as he was flipped not exactly expecting that to happen.

"Not too shabby." Tristan said clearly proud of himself and his ability to flip someone bigger than him only to have Kemo land on his feet and then jump into the air. "Huh?" He asked as he opened his eyes that had been closed just in time to see the guy he just flipped soar through the air and deliver a kick to his stomach. "Uhh! I'm off the big guy." Tristan wheezed out as he slumped to the ground whilst they kid he saved watches on in shock before trying to run again.

"Put me down!" The boy yelled when Kemo picked him up under his armpits like he weighed nothing and started squirming again.

"Quit squirming, you little brat." Kemo growled out as he had his back turned to everyone else.

"You heard him, needle-head. Put the kid down." Joey said as he was ready to fight this guy in order to get him to let the kid go.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Yuki asked as she stood next to Joey causing said boy to look at her.

"Yeah, you can't just muscle someone off of the island!" Yugi added as he stood next to his sister.

"This is none of your business. This duelist lost his star chips, and the rules say he's to be kicked off the island." Kemo said as he turned towards Yuki and Joey with the boy restrained in his arms once again.

"But I didn't lose my chips in a duel! They were stolen from me! My cards, too!" The boy said hoping that Kemo would believe him and let him go since it is the truth.

"I don't care what lame excuse you have, kid. You need star chips to duel, and you haven't got any, so you're shippin' out of here. Those are the rules. Those are my orders from Pegasus himself." Kemo said clearly not caring as he turned and started to physically carry the boy away.

"Uhh. That big creep. I say we follow him." Tristan said as he pushed himself up onto his hands and knees whilst looking over his shoulder at Kemo.

Down at the island's only dock stood two goons in suits similar to the one Kemo was wearing. They were guarding the row boat that would take duelists with no star chips off the island. They were there to make sure that none of the loser duelists don't try to cheat their way into staying on the island. As they waited for more star chip-less duelists to be found one of them noticed Kemo. Well more specifically the boy that was restrained in his arms as that meant he was a duelist that had no more star chips.

"Hey, Kemo. What'd you catch?" One goon asked as he saw said male approached them.

"Just another loser." Kemo stated as he harshly threw the boy into the boat right next Weevil infront of three other boys.

"Hey, buzz off! They may be shipping me out, but I'm still Weevil Underwood, bug-duelist extraordinaire." Weevil said as he pushed the boy away since he had been a little too close for comfort.

"But I didn't even get a chance to duel." The boy said sadly with a sigh as he closed his eyes.

"Hey!" Yuki suddenly shouted making the boy look in her direction in confusion. "You, the kid in the salmon colored shirt!" She called out as her and her group run up to the goons guarding the boat.

"You again?" Kemo asked in irritation as him and his fellow goons look at the group infront of them.

"What did the person who stole your star chips look like?" Yuki asked the boy and completely ignored Kemo's question.

"Well, I couldn't see his face. It was covered with a bandanna, but he was a little guy, and he challenged me in the meadow." The boy explained glad that finally someone believed him enough to listen.

"Wait, so he challenged you to a Duel Monsters game? Without any chips of his own?" Yuki asked as she was kneeling down so she was eye to eye with the boy she was talking to.

"Yeah. But as soon as I put my star chips and Duel Monsters deck down, he snatched 'em up and ran off with them." The boy explained as there was no way he could make something like this up.

"They shouldn't be shipping you off the island for that. Don't worry, we'll get your deck and star chips back." Yuki reassured as she stood up from her kneeling position.

"This boat leaves in exactly 30 minutes. Anyone without a star chip ships out." Kemo said as he stepped in between Yuki and the boat cutting off her ability to look at the boy.

"No one was talking to you Creepy Magoo!" Yugi snapped with a glare in Kemo's direction only to hide behind his sister's leg when Kemo growled at him.

"Then we'll get his chips back by that time." Tea stated ignoring the fact that the kid lost his deck as well as his star chips.

"We won't let you bully him out of the game." Tristan said as he pounds his fist into his palm.

"Nope. We'll catch that little thief and bring him to justice. Believe me, kid. You can count on us to track him down and get those star chips back." Joey reassured the boy with a raised clenched fist as him and Yuki stood side by side with determined looks.

"But who are you guys?" The boy asked with tears welling up in his gun-metal grey eyes.

"We're the guys that are gonna save your chips. Don't worry. You got the brilliant mind of Joey Wheeler on the case, and I always get my man..." Joey said confidently causing everyone to sigh and sweat drop at what he said.

"Ugh, I need more female friends..." Yuki grumbled as she pinched the bridge of her nose slightly and Tea nodded in agreement.

"Even if he's just a kid. Onward, troops!" Joey exclaimed as he turned around pumping his fist in the air as they all slowly head to the duel arena the boy was at.

The boy had said he was in the meadow area of the island. So naturally that was where they decided to look for the thief first. Though Yuki thought it was strange that the dueling stadium was still above ground. Now she is not an expert on this but aren't they supposed to disappear back into the ground when the duel ends? After all that is what happened after her last two duels when they were over. The fact that the stadium was still there was a massive red flag in Yuki's opinion.

"So, what's your brilliant mind telling you now, Sherlock?" Tristan asked sarcastically as they approached their destination.

"Uhh, beats me. Right now, the only thing my brilliant mind is doing is giving me a brilliant headache." Joey said as he rubs at his head with a frown on his face.

"Boys, we gotta do this NCIS style. We gotta investigate and then stake out the crime scene. Which is over there." Yuki stated as she sprinted over to the stadium that was already giving her a bad gut feeling as she sat on the ground.

"Think the thief will come back?" Joey asked as the rest of the caught up to the now sitting down heterochromic eyed girl.

"Yea sis, isn't it like thief 101 to not strike in the same place twice?" Yugi asked as he sat next to his sister on the ground.

"Sometimes that is the case Yugi. However he might come back, in the meantime we can put our heads together and come up with a plan." Yuki explained as she looked at everyone whilst leaning back on her hands.

"Yeah, but don't forget one of those heads is Joey's. That's sort of like subtracting one brain." Tristan joked as they walked closer to Yuki and Yugi whilst unbeknownst to them someone was watching from the bushes.

"Ah ha." Joey laughed sarcastically as they were still being watched.

"Ahhh... Hah!" Someone shouted as they jumped out of the bushes next to the now sitting group.

"Huh?" The group of 5 asked in unison as they looked to see it was the kid the other kid was talking about.

"I've found you at last, Yuki." The kid said as his voice proved that he is in fact a boy.

"That must be the kid we were looking for." Joey said as they all jumped to their feet in response to the boy jumping out of the bushes.

"I can handle him." Tristan suddenly declared as if he was going to fight the boy.

"I hope so, you're twice his size." Tea remarked sarcastically at what Tristan had declared.

"Just try me, you big dork!" The kid remarked fiercely as dark blue grey eyes stared unforgiving at the group.

"Back off, kid!" Tristan shot back not liking this kids attitude.

"And hand over the star chips you swiped from that other duelist." Joey said since the sooner they get those the sooner they can save that kid from being kicked out.

"Wait a second. I think I know what this kid is really after. He wants to have a duel." Yuki said to Joey and Tristan as she had been silent up until now.

"Huh?" They both asked not understanding what their only other female friend was telling them.

"That is what you want, right? You want to have a duel with me?" Yuki asked as she looked at the boy who was no older than Yugi is.

"Aw, you better believe it." The boy said with determination shining in his eyes as they both assumed the positions on the dueling stadium.

"I don't get it. Why is Yuki going to the trouble of dueling this guy when we could just take the star chips away from him?" Joey asked still as clueless as ever as they watch the girl with tri colored star shaped hair.

"You know, sometimes I don't think even Yuki knows why she does half the stuff she does." Tristan stated as they try to figure out what exactly Yuki is planning.

"Heh. Yeah, it's kind of weird. Do you think it has something to do with her Millennium Puzzle?" Joey asked as Yuki transforms into Yami Yuki in the blink of an eye.

"Stop questioning my sister you morons! She's got a plan, I know she does." Yugi said knowing that his sister doesn't just jump into something that she's not confident she can handle.

"Now, what's the number of star chip's you'll wager little man?" Yami Yuki asked with a knowing smirk on her face.

"To wipe you out? 5!" The boy said as he held up 5 fingers towards Yami Yuki.

"5 it is then, but only 'cause I think I know why you're doing this, kid." Yami Yuki said as she plucked all 5 of her star chips from her dueling glove.

"I don't care what you think, Yuki, 'cause I think you're gonna lose." The boy said whilst fishing out the stolen star chips and tossing them out onto his dashboard.

"What does Yuki see that we don't?" Tea asked as the eye of Anubis momentarily appears on Yami Yuki's forehead glowing a bright gold. "It's like she's looking into the other player's soul." She added as she stared wide eyed up at her friend with curiosity shining in her azure eyes.

"Hey, soul, schmoul. I can see from here that that kid's gonna get his ass kicked." Joey said confident that this kid was no match for a girl who defeated three top ranked duelists.

"Maybe... but Yuki should hurry is she plans to get those star chips back to the boat in time." Tristan pointed out seeing as they were on quite the time crunch at the moment.

"Don't worry, Tristan. She'll win the chips, and we'll be back at the dock with time to spare." Tea reassured whilst never taking her eyes off of Yami Yuki as the duel began.

'This is it, Yuki. Now you're gonna pay for what you did to my big brother.' The boy thought as his gazed was just full of hatred as he looked at Yami Yuki.

Flashback beginning

"Seto, you've gotta leave now if you're gonna make the boat for the big tournament at Duelist Kingdom. Seto, open the door!" Mokuba said as he knocked on the door of his brother's office at Kaiba Corp. "Huh? Seto?" He asked when he opened the door and just found his brother shuffling his cards.

"I'm not going, Mokuba." Seto said but he was more focused on his cards than his little brother.

"Not going? Why not?" Mokuba asked not understanding why his brother was not going to the tournament.

"There's no point." Seto stated as he tossed his deck down onto his desk causing the cards to scatter like it's 21 pick-up.

"What do you mean, "no point"?" Mokuba asked because he wanted a straight answer out of his brother.

"Kid, I am in no condition to duel anyone." Seto explained feeling ashamed as he closed his eyes and hung his head with gritted teeth.

"What are you talking about?" Mokuba questioned as he walked further into his brother's office. "You always say, "cards are power", and you've got all the strongest cards." He said getting frustrated with the way that Seto is acting.

"Since I lost my duel with Yuki, I just don't know what I think anymore. Everything's different. It feels as if I lost a piece of myself that day." Seto said as his cobalt eyes were fixated on staring at the polished surface of his desk as he seemed so very, lost.

"But, Seto... You're the best. You're the champ." Mokuba insisted as Seto stood up and packed away all his cards into the open metal brief case on his desk.

"Not since the day I was defeated by Yuki." Seto revealed as he looked at a certain card before tossing it to Mokuba who caught it easily.

"Huh?" Mokuba asked as he looked at the card he was now holding in his hand.

"Here, Mokuba. I'm going away for a while. I don't know how long I'll be gone. Keep this... it was always your favorite." Seto said as he had some thinking to do and he felt like he couldn't do it whilst in Domino City.

"Why? Why are you leaving?" Mokuba asked as he looked at his brother who had closed his brief case and had started to leave.

"Because I don't know who I am anymore. Take care, kid." Seto stated as he left the office and started to close the door behind himself.

"Seto, don't go! Uhh." Mokuba said as he tried to rush after his brother who was shutting the door in his face.

Flashback ending

'You broke up my family, Yuki, and now, I'm gonna break you up.' The kid now identified as Mokuba thanks to his flashback thought. "My first card is the Man-Eating Plant!" He exclaimed as he put the card into play causing what looked like a spikier version of the Mario Parana plant to appear with a roar.

"It's my turn now. I'll retaliate to your attack with the Winged Dragon, Guardian of The Fortress!" Yami Yuki declared as her baby blue dragon appeared on the field with a roar of his own.

"Ha! Bad choice, Yuki. My Man-Eating Plant will eat your dragon alive." Mokuba said confident that his monster would be stronger than Yami Yuki's monster.

"That's kinda dark for a kid your age to say..." Yami Yuki said with an unfazed expression on her face.

"Shut up! Now you're finally gonna pay for what you did, Yuki, and your stupid dragon's gonna be plant food. Man-Eating Plant... attack!" Mokuba ordered as if his monster even had a chance to prepare to attack.

"Fireball attack!" Yami Yuki commanded as her dragon shot out a fire ball that hit the very slow plant right in the mouth burning it to a crisp.

"Ah!" Mokuba exclaimed as he had to shield his eyes from the bright light of the attack. "Huh? My monster lost?" he asked not believing that his monster had been defeated.

Mokuba: 1,400 Yuki: 2,000

"Kid, you can't hope to win a duel with cards that do not rightfully belong to you. How could your heart ever live in someone else's cards?" Yami Yuki asked as if the answer to that would explain why his monster hadn't won.

"Be quiet. I don't believe in that "Heart of the cards" stuff you keep preachin' about. Cards have nothing to do with heart. It's all about power." Mokuba said sounding a little too much like his brother as Yami Yuki had her eyes closed and the eye of Anubis glowing on her forehead.

"Yes, I can see it now, I can feel it in my gut. I did sense a connection to Seto. You're that little brother of his! Your Mokuba Kaiba!" Yami Yuki deduced whilst opening her eyes as the eye of Anubis fades away.

"How did you know? Well, it doesn't matter." Mokuba said as he pulled down his bandanna to reveal his sneer.

"Look!" Joey exclaimed as his attention turned towards the youngest Kaiba sibling.

"It is Kaiba's little brother!" Tea said almost like she didn't believe that Yami Yuki was telling the truth.

"That's right. Seto Kaiba is my brother, and he's the best duelist that there ever was." Mokuba said as he pulled off his beanie revealing his unruly mop of black hair whilst tossing the hat aside. "But now, thanks to Yuki, he's gone, and Pegasus is trying to take over Kaiba Corp." He explained as he had his eyes closed and looked ready to break down as he shook like a leaf.

"Pegasus wants control of Kaiba Corp?" Yami Yuki asked completely dumbfounded as to why Pegasus would want Kaiba Corp.

"I don't know what you did to my big brother when you dueled, Yuki, but ever since that defeat, he hasn't been the same." Mokuba said as his eyes were cast downward as to not look at Yami Yuki. "He ran away 'cause of you, and with him gone, Pegasus moved right in. Some Kaiba Corp executives invited him to some kind of secret board meeting." He explained as he thought back to the events prior to him being kidnapped.

Flashback beginning

"Now, gentlemen, let's see if I understand your proposition. Seto Kaiba has abandoned his corporate station, and now you five wish to seize control of Kaiba Corp. You then want to merge with my company, and you'd like me to handle any messy details, yes?" Pegasus asked as he sat in a board room with 5 other men as he waited for their confirmation about what he said.

"Precisely, Mr. Pegasus. With our money and your leadership, we will easily take control of Kaiba Corp" The 5 men said in unison as Mokuba quietly open's the door behind Pegasus and peeks in.

"Do tell." Pegasus encouraged since they now had his full attention at the moment.

"For our plan to succeed, Kaiba must be taken out of the picture... permanently." One of the men said as he not so subtly was saying that Seto would need to be killed.

"However, there is one catch. As per the corporate bylaws, only a Kaiba family member can legally control Kaiba Corp." Another one of the men explained since that would prove to be a problem for their plan.

"Hmm." Pegasus hummed in thought as he closed his eye and lowered his head slightly.

"To that end, Pegasus, we recommend kidnapping Kaiba's brother Mokuba. In name, he will control Kaiba Corp, but we will control him." One of the men said as if he was talking about business and not just telling a grown man to kidnap a child.

"Do these things for us and we will lay all of Kaiba Corp's technology at your feet." One of the men promised hoping that this would help them get what they want.

"Agreed. The elder Kaiba shall meet with an accident, and the younger Kaiba will be captured." Pegasus said with his remaining eye still closed for now.

"Excellent. But we have one final condition. The brat who beat Kaiba has tarnished Kaiba Corp's good name, and we must insist that you restore it." One of the men said unaware that Mokuba was hearing every word that they were saying.

"Well, how fortuitous. Plans for me to duel Yuki are already under way." Pegasus said as he opened his eye and looked as he looks out the corner of his eye knowing that Mokuba is there. "Now, to show that I truly am the man for this job-" He said as the younger Kaiba tried to leave only to almost run into Kemo who was sadistically grinning. "Kemo, bring me young Kaiba, would you?" Pegasus asked revealing that he had known that Mokuba was there all along.

"Noooo! Aah! Unh! Let me go, you creeps. I heard everything, and when I tell my big brother, you're gonna-" Mokuba ranted as he was squirming in Kemo's hold whom had brought him to Pegasus like he was asked to.

"You see, gentlemen? This is how efficiently you can expect me to handle our business. Young Kaiba is captured, Yuki will be defeated, and Seto Kaiba will bother us no more. Ha ha ha ha ha ha!" Pegasus reassured with a laugh effectively drowning out the rest of Mokuba's rant.

Flashback ending

"Uhh! It's all your fault! Seto deserted me 'cause of you." Mokuba said shoving off his anger onto Yami Yuki.

"Mokuba, you don't understand. Seto hasn't deserted you. He's simply searching for who he is now." Yami Yuki explained in a comforting sister kind of way trying to put the 11 year old at ease.

"Liar! Tell it to my monster!" Mokuba stated as he put a card in play causing a crocodile man to appear. "Go, Crocodilus!" He ordered as his Crocodilus tried to attack only to be destroyed by Yami Yuki's dragon.

Mokuba: 1,100 Yuki: 2,000

"Mokuba, please just listen to me! Dueling me isn't going to make your brother come back, and we want to stop Pegasus just as much as you do. He's taken mine and Yugi's grandpa prisoner." Yami Yuki explained still trying to put Mokuba at ease.

"We're not enemies here, Mokuba!" Yugi insisted since he really didn't want Mokuba to hate them when they did nothing wrong.

"That's right! Pegasus is the bad guy here. Can't you see that, you crazy little kid?" Joey asked since it seemed stupid to fight when they have a common enemy.

"You're wrong. I have to protect my brother's company, and Yuki's the one Pegasus has to beat in order to take it over." Mokuba said to Joey and Yugi whilst Yami Yuki just blinks at that information.

"Wait, I get it. Mokuba is trying to save his brother's company by defeating Yuki in a duel so Pegasus doesn't get to face Yuki at all!" Tea exclaimed as she finally figured out why Mokuba wanted to have this duel.

"What do you mean?" Tristan asked since he didn't catch on to what Tea meant.

"What do you mean, "what do I mean"?" Joey asked as he turned to Tristan thinking that he was talking to him.

"I wasn't talkin' to you." Tristan stated causing Joey to chuckle sheepishly.

"Sorry, what do you mean ,Tea?" Joey asked causing Tea to let out an exasperated sigh as she sweat drops.

"If Mokuba can keep Pegasus from beating Yuki, then he won't be able to take over Kaiba's company." Tea explained to those who did not catch onto what she meant the first time.

"Yeah, that's gotta be it!" Yami Yuki agreed as she had been listening in before looking back towards Mokuba. "Huh? Did this kid just pull a Batman disappearing act on me?" She asked when she saw that the younger Kaiba was no longer across from her.

"If I can't beat you..." Mokuba suddenly said from behind Yami Yuki causing her to turn just in time to see him climb up onto her platform. "I'll have you disqualified." He stated as he reached around her and snatched up 2 of her 5 star chips.

"No, my star chips!" Yami Yuki yelled as she reached for Mokuba as he jumped down from her platform and started to run away.

"Hold up, you little punk!" Tristan shouted as him, Tea, and Joey started to chase after Mokuba.

"Mokuba! Please listen to me! You'll never be able to save Kaiba Corp that way!" Yami Yuki called out as this is what caused Mokuba to stop running.

"Huh?" Mokuba asked as he half turned his body in Yami Yuki's direction to show she had his attention.

"Your big brother is just confused right now. After defeating Seto in our duel, I simply opened his mind. I removed all the dark influences that clouded his thoughts and actions. Now free of that evil essence, Seto is struggling. Now your brother is starting to realize that his way wasn't the right way, and is searching his heart for answers, and you yourself know in your heart that what you're doing isn't the right way either." Yami Yuki said as it was obvious that she was finally getting through to Mokuba.

"But then... what can I do?" Mokuba asked because at the end of the day he's just a little kid who is lost and scared without his brother.

"You can start by trusting me, and together we will be Pegasus's reckoning." Yami Yuki said a she gave Mokuba a warm smile hoping that the boy will trust her.

"Hmm." Mokuba hummed still clearly on the fence about trusting Yami Yuki.

"I promise you, we can only stop Pegasus if we stick together. We will help you protect your brother, Mokuba, but you've got to help us as well, ok? You've got to go back to that boy and return his cards and star chips that you stole from him." Yami Yuki said as she knows that Mokuba is a good kid and that he will do what is right.

"You're right, Yuki. Then we'll take on Pegasus together!" Mokuba said with a new fire burning in his eyes as this one was a helpful one rather than a revengeful one.

"We've only got 3 minutes left till the boat leaves." Tea explained as she walked up to Mokuba.

"Let's get going, Mokuba." Yami Yuki said as she waited for Mokuba's response.

"Let's do it." Mokuba agreed as he looked down at the ground for a moment.

Then it was just a mad dash to collect up all of the cards and the star chips. Then the no group of 6 was running like their lives depended on it as they head to the boat. Meanwhile in a house right on the edge of a cliff sat one Seto Kaiba. He was currently going over his duel with Yuki piece by piece at a desk with computers and many wires. The young CEO was desperately trying to figure out what he possibly could have done to win that duel. Though so far his mind was drawing a blank when it comes to out comes where he could have won.

'Ah, it's no use. I've gone over it a dozen times in my mind, but I still can't figure it out. How was a kid who came out of nowhere able to defeat a champion like me? I've run computer simulations, probability scenarios, and quantum analysis of our duel, but I still don't have the answer.' Seto thought as he was practically hunched over his desk working on something. 'I had clearly been dominating the match. My Blue Eyes White Dragon ripped through her forces. I was on the verge of winning, but Yuki wouldn't give up. Against all odds, and with absolute faith in her grandfather's deck, she somehow drew the one card that assured her victory.' He thought as he thought back to the duel once again.

Flashback beginning

"Exodia! It's not possible!" Seto exclaimed as he stumbled back in shock upon seeing the unstoppable monster.

"Exodia, obliterate!" Yami Yuki ordered as Exodia shot a golden beam of light at the three dragons effectively destroying them.

"Aaaah!" Seto yelled as he is unable to look away from the blinding golden light that is destroying his three dragons.

Flashback ending

'I've always believed Duel Monsters was a game of sheer power, but Yuki claims that the cards have a heart.' Seto thought as men in suits begin to approach the house he was in. 'It sounds crazy, I know. But could Yuki be right? Is there really a heart of the cards that can effect the outcome of a duel? Is that how she won? The only way I'll know for sure is to face Yuki again, and these new, portable holo-generators will enable me to challenge her no matter where I find her.' He mused as he was working on a disk with spots shaped like cards as someone approaches the door to the room he's in. 'If I can just get to-' Seto's train of thought was soon interrupted knocking on his door.

"Seto Kaiba! We know you're in there! Open the door, or we'll break it down!" Goon 1 said as he pounded on the door causing Seto to pack up his devices in his brief case and close it.

"Let's go, Kaiba. On your feet." Goon 2 said as they opened the door causing Seto to look at them over his shoulder.

"Mr. Pegasus would like to have a few words with you." Goon 1 said as him and goon 2 point a finger at Seto.

"Heh. I bet he would. But it'll take more than you 2 goons to grab me." Seto said as he stood up and turned towards the 2 goons.

"This can go easy, or we can snap you in two, wiseguy!" Goon 1 threatened clearly underestimating the young CEO.

"You'll never take me alive!" Seto exclaimed as he kicked his office chair at the two goons knocking him over.

"Get him!" Goon 2 yelled as Seto grabbed his brief case and jumped out the window that was above his desk causing the glass to shatter. "He jumped. Nobody could survive a fall like that." He said as they look out the broken window to the water and rocks below the cliff.

"Looks like he did our work for us." Goon 1 said assuming that Seto had died from jumping out the window.

"Yeah, that just leaves the rest of the job." Goon 2 said as they turn back to the desk that held Seto's left behind deck. "Pegasus was very clear. He want's the deck with the deadly Blue Eyes White Dragon." he said as he drew a card from the deck revealing it to be a Blue Eyes White Dragon.

Back on the island the group of 6 was running as fast as possible as their time is running out. Yami Yuki was trying to get there was fast as possible whilst checking to make sure Mokuba and Yugi weren't falling behind. She did this because both boys were younger and smaller than the rest of them. Which means that they may fall behind because they can't take as big of steps as the rest of them.

"Hurry, we're almost there!" Tea encouraged as they ran with Yami Yuki leading the way.

"We're gonna just make it!" Tristan called out through his panting as they run.

"Wait, is that...?" Yami Yuki trailed off as she noticed something in the water slowly moving away from the island.

"I told you, I'm not gonna row, so quit bugging me!" Weevil snapped as two of the kicked off trainers row the boat away from the island.

"The boat! It's already left!" Mokuba observed as he stood next to Yami Yuki looking out at the water.

"And there's the sleazy lowlife that shipped 'em out." Joey said as they approached Kemo who was watching the boat leave.

"You're too late. Those losers are on their way back home" Kemo stated already knowing that they were approaching him from behind.

"Hey, that's not fair! It hasn't been a half hour yet." Tea protested since Kemo said they had a half hour before the boat leaves.

"Tough luck. Pegasus sets the schedule here." Kemo said half looking at them over his shoulder.

"That's it! I'm gonna give you a flat-top!" Joey said as Mokuba approached Kemo and held out his hand to the man that was now facing them.

"You've gotta call the boat back. I've gotta return the kid's star chips to him." Mokuba explained as he showed the 5 star chips he held in his hand to Kemo only to have them smacked out of his hand.

"The star chips!" Yami Yuki exclaimed as the star chips were sent flying into the water below the dock.

"What gives? A bunch of those star chips belonged to Yuki, you big jerk." Joey hissed out as Mokuba stood frozen and gaping up at Kemo.

"I am so sorry, Yuki." Mokuba apologized as he turned to look at Yami Yuki feeling bad since he let her down.

"Ha! You losers should keep a tighter grip on your valuables, don't you think? Then accidents like that wouldn't happen. Now..." Kemo taunted before he suddenly grabbed and restrained Mokuba causing them to gasp in shock. "Let's go, you. Back to the cage. This little ingrate is a special guest of Mr. Maximilian Pegasus, and he's been invited to attend a special dinner in his honor back at the castle. Right, Mokuba?" He asked as he had said boy in a harsh choke hold.

"Yuki!" Mokuba strained out as he tried to get Kemo's arm to let up on the pressure on his throat.

"Just hold on, Mokuba! Everything will be fine." Yami Yuki reassured the youngest Kaiba causing Kemo to look at her in confusion. "I still have 3 star chips left. I challenge you, you overgrown creep, to a duel and if I win, then you let Mokuba go and he comes with us." She said as she pointed at Kemo waiting for his response.

"Hmm. I don't know why you'd risk your chips for this punk, but if that's how you want to waste your last star chips, then meet me back at arena 146 in exactly 4 hours. You'll have your duel." Kemo said as Yami Yuki reluctantly agreed to these terms since Mokuba was still in his possession.

Four hours later they approached arena 146 just like they were told to. Yami Yuki was still there rather than normal Yuki at the moment as they look for Kemo. So far they saw hide nor hair of Mokuba or the big goon that had taken him away. The heterochromic eyed girl was extremely worried because she made a promise to the youngest Kaiba. She didn't wan't to lose what little trust that Mokuba may have for her by breaking her promise.

"Well, we're here. Where's antenna-head?" Joey asked curiously since Kemo was nowhere near the arena.

"Yuki, over here! Get him off me!" Mokuba called out as he was still held in that harsh choke hold by Kemo.

"Mokuba! Put him down now you creep!" Yami Yuki ordered as she walked up to Kemo.

"I'll consider it if you win the duel." Kemo said as he kept a tight grip on Mokuba.

"Oh don't worry, I'll beat you." Yami Yuki stated since she assumed that she would be dueling Kemo for Mokuba's freedom.

"I never said I would duel. There is your opponent." Kemo said as he points to a figure above them at the red dueling dashboard.

"Say what?" Yami Yuki asked as she looks towards the mysterious figure that was already ready to duel.

"He's an old friend who's dying to see you again. He met with an unfortunate end earlier today, but he's come back just to duel you." Kemo explained as the person turned out to be none other than Seto Kaiba but with bags under his eyes and a cruel smirk.

"What are you saying?!" Mokuba asked as he looked up at the person who looked so much like his brother.

"Seto?" Yami Yuki breathed out not exactly sure if she believes what she was seeing.

"Yes, Yuki. It's me, Seto, and this time, you don't stand... a ghost of a chance." Evil Seto said with a sinister tone as his cobalt blue eyes are dull and lifeless as he looks at Yami Yuki.
