Now I have just the tinniest request for you lovely people that are reading my book. I would like ideas in the reviews for cute little fluff chapters that will fill in the time between Duelist Kingdom and Battle City. There's that annoying gap of time where we don't know exactly what happens so I would like to fill it up with fluff. Chapter 17: Give Up the Ghost
As the Blue Eye's attack hits the hat on the far left it is destroyed in a small puff of smoke that quickly dissipated. When no monster appeared and no trap or spell was triggered that meant the hat was empty. The square that the hat had been floating above sparked with the aftermath of the dragons lightning attack. This left Yami Yuki with only three hats as she let go of the breath she didn't know she was holding. Having Evil Seto attack the wrong hat was a huge relief since she was safe and it was her turn now. Which was a good thing but it was also not a good thing at the same time given her lack of a monster that's stronger than the dragon is.
"No! That hat was empty!" Evil Seto exclaimed in frustration at his bad luck with that attack.
"All right! This could work." Joey said as he looked at Tea, Yugi, and Tristan.
"It's gotta work." Tea corrected as she was on the fence about whether to celebrate this moment of luck or not,
"Yuki'll beat that faker!" Mokuba declared confidently with a grin.
"Yeah! My sister's totally gonna beat him!" Yugi agreed with Mokuba with a grin on his face as well.
"You guessed wrong, too bad, so sad. If you guess wrong a second time, it'll cost you." Yami Yuki said as she drew a card from her deck and put it face down as it was hidden by one of the hats.
"Huh?" Evil Seto asked as he does not know what Yami Yuki just did.
"I still have 3 Magical Hats left on the field, and one of them hides a special little surprise just for you." Yami Yuki said as Evil Seto was now starting to get a bit nervous. "If you destroy the hat hiding my Dark Magician, you'll win the duel. Choose the empty hat, and then it's my turn again, but I bet you'll pick the hat that hides the trap card I just put on the field." She stated making people question just what kind of card she put face down.
"A trap card?" Evil Seto uttered confused as to if he should believe that that is what the other hidden card is.
"Now which hat will you choose?" Yami Yuki asked with an aura of confidence.
"You're taking a big gamble, Yuki." Joey called out in warning to the girl with tri colored star shaped hair.
"If he guesses right, its over." Tristan added onto what Joey said as he was also trying to warn her.
"Dude would you both stop being so pessimistic?! Yuki knows alot more about what she's doing than you tow do." Yugi snapped in defense of his preoccupied sister as he glares at Joey and Tristan who glare right back at him.
"Blue Eyes White Dragon, attack the middle hat!" Evil Seto ordered as his dragon fires an attack at the middle hat and destroyed it.
"Ha! Oh you've done it now boy, activated my trap card, to be exact." Yami Yuki pointed out as the square that the hat had been covering began to glow with a pentagram inside of two rings. "Spellbinding Circle!" She called out as lightning shot out and struck the dragon as the trap starts to take effect.
"Grr!" Evil Seto growls nervously as he watches what is happening to his dragon.
"Normally a Blue Eyes White Dragon is unstoppable, but once it's energy has been drained by the Spellbinding Circle, it's not even close to being a match for my Dark Magician!" Yami Yuki revealed as the dragons power drops down from 3,000 to 2,300 points. "I wish I felt sorry for you, but I don't." She stated as her magician came out of the hat he was hiding in floating high above the field as he attacks the dragon and destroys it. "As that is the end of having your Blue Eyes White Dragon." Yami Yuki said feeling good about the fact that she defeated the dragon without Exodia.
"Grr!" Evil Seto growls in frustration since he was so close to victory!
Evil Seto: 500 Yuki: 1,000
"Way to go Yuki!" Mokuba praised as he pumped his now free fist in the air since Kemo let it go out of shock.
"Grr!" Kemo growled as he got over his shock and quickly grabbed Mokuba's shoulder so he can't even try to run.
Suddenly another Blue Eyes White Dragon appeared on the field in a burst of bright light. The new dragon roared as it fired it's attack causing Yami Yuki to gasp in shock. She had no time to prepare or even stop the attack as she had to shield her eyes from the bright light. The attack hits her no longer hidden Dark Magician and destroys him instantly. When the light died down she no longer had any monsters on the field as she glares. Her friends, brother, and Mokuba were frozen in shock at what had happened as they look at the dragon.
Evil Seto: 500 Yuki: 500
"Whoa! Another one?!" Tristan asked since neither him, Yugi, or Tea knew that Seto's deck had the other three Blue Eyes cards.
"Ha ha ha ha ha! And that puts an end to your Dark Magician. There are only 4 Blue Eyes White Dragon cards in the world, and 3 of them are in my deck. Whilst you have the fourth. But how could I possibly know that if I'm not really Seto Kaiba?" Evil Seto asked as Yami Yuki was stone faced and unresponsive to his question. "You know, I couldn't believe it when you beat all 3 of my Blue Eyes White Dragons with Exodia. But now without that monster in your deck, there's absolutely no way you can win. Your move." He said though he knew that any move at this point would be hopeless.
"Ugh..." Yami Yuki groaned slightly cause she thought she wouldn't have to deal with back to back Blue Eyes attacks.
"Everyone heard about your duel with Seto. That's how this loser knows about it. That's not my brother, Yuki. I'm sure." Mokuba insisted causing Yami Yuki to nod.
Back at the Kaiba mansion Seto and his computer were still hard at work. Now that they had access to Yuki's data they now just had to sift through the old duel data so they can find the new data. It was quite the easy process now that they had complete access to the data and weren't getting interrupted. Seto was waiting patiently, or as patiently as he can wait, for his computer to finish. They needed to see that duel data as soon as possible. Preferably before the duel is finished and he can no longer help incase Yuki has bitten off more than she can chew. Now that cannot happen especially if it ends with her losing and him losing his company as that is not the desired outcome.
"I am now rerouting the data from field 146 at the Duelist Kingdom. After that, we'll be able to confirm if Yuki Muto is dueling there." The computer said as the screen was showing the security door for field 146 once again as Seto was standing leaning his palms on the console.
"I'm sure she is. Now show me what you've got." Seto said impatiently since he wanted to see what was going on now.
"Here it comes. We're in." The computer said as the screen turned like green with the number 146 in big orange letters. "Now downloading duel data." She stated as a progress bar popped up and got completed almost instantly. "You were right. Yuki Muto is in this duel." The computer said revealing that Seto's hunch was correct.
"Can you show it to me on screen?" Seto asked since he needed to see what Yuki was up against in order to help.
"My pleasure. I think the part you'll find most interesting is the name of Yuki's opponent."The computer said as she showed Seto the digital layout of the field including the fact that his name was the name of the opponent and a Blue Eyes card on the field.
"What?! Is this your idea of a joke?" Seto asked as he looked at his name written in capital red letters underneath Yuki's name.
"I never joke. Sensors indicate that the opponent opposite Yuki is registered as Seto Kaiba and he's using your deck." The computer explained as Seto glared at the screen with gritted, bared teeth.
"Pegasus must've taken my deck." Seto suggested as that was the only way this fake Seto could have his deck.
"The duelists are tied, and the impostor has his second Blue Eyes White Dragon on the field. Yuki defeated the first one using a combination of the Dark Magician, Spellbinding Circle, and Magical Hats. She currently has 500 points left and no cards in play. It's her move." The computer explained as Seto felt shocked that all of this was happening.
"But without Exodia, Yuki can't win. She has no other cards left in her deck that can beat the Blue Eyes White Dragon, let alone 2 of them. Sure she has the fourth Blue Eyes, but even that won't be strong enough." Seto explained as he felt an emotion that he has only ever felt for his brother, worry.
"Well, then I hope you have a plan." The computer stated since they weren't doing Yuki any good by just sitting there talking.
"Yes, but we've got to work fast. Yuki'll lose on the next attack from the Blue Eyes White Dragon unless we decrease it's power from here." Seto said as what he said meant tampering with the outcome of an official tournament duel.
"Can we do that?" The computer inquired curiously since this has never been done before.
"Oh, yeah. Upload a virus into that monster's holo computer. That dragon is about to get sick, real sick." Seto said as he was about to do one of the things he thought he'd never do, take out his own dragon.
"Standing by, but shouldn't we first wait to see Yuki's next move?" The computer asked as she had the virus ready and had the stats next to a front view outline of the Blue Eyes White Dragon.
"We can't afford to risk Yuki losing the duel. Upload!" Seto ordered as he was not going to let the fate of this duel ride on Yuki's next move.
"Viral injection underway." The computer stated as she began the process of giving the dragon a virus.
During this process Yami Yuki has yet to make a move as she was wracking her brain for ideas. There was nothing in her hand that could help her with taking down a second Blue Eyes White Dragon. Sure she could draw a card from her deck but unless there was a monster in it that's stronger than a Blue Eyes then it would not help. Evil Seto was still standing there smugly as his dragon roars and it honestly pissed her off. For someone who claims to be Seto she was finding it extremely easy to hate him and she so wanted to punch him. Now Yami Yuki didn't get this feeling with the original Seto so she knew that something fishy was going on. She just couldn't quite put her finger on it at the moment and that just pissed her off more.
'I'm not sure if I have any monsters that can hold their own against his Blue Eyes White Dragon. Ugh. This could be the end of this...' Yami Yuki thought bitterly as her eyes shut tightly.
"This duel is over, Yuki. I'm sure we'll be hearing the fat lady sing right after your turn. I still have Defense Paralysis active, so whatever monster you pick won't be able to defend itself." Evil Seto explained as if Yami Yuki didn't know that that was what was still going to happen.
"Luster Dragon in attack mode." Yami Yuki said as she put the card into play as a dragon that seemed to be made out of sapphires appears on the field with a roar.
Back at the Kaiba mansion Seto wasn't exactly happy that Yuki had finally made her next move in the duel. Here he was going out of his way to help her and she was making moves like using Luster Dragon which only has 1,900 attack points. That wasn't nearly enough attack power to defeat a Blue Eyes White Dragon and not even enough power to at least hold its own against the mighty dragon. Though a part of him could understand why exactly she made that sort of move in the first place. With a card like Defense Paralysis in play there is no way she can use monster's like Luster Dragon to defend herself. Still that understanding wasn't going to stop him from being annoyed with the heterochromic eyed girl though.
"I wish Yuki waited a few more seconds before moving. Isn't there anything you can do to get that computer virus uploaded faster?" Seto asked hurriedly as he continued to look at the screen in worry as to what is going to happen if this doesn't succeed.
"We're already halfway there. This is as fast as it goes." The computer explained as the upload percentage was already over the halfway mark. "Viral implant now at 60%, but it doesn't seem to be working. The Blue Eyes White Dragon is still showing now signs of weakness." She said as the dragons power level was still at its original 3,000 points.
"Something is wrong." Seto said since the dragon should be starting to lose attack points by now.
Meanwhile the Evil Seto was enjoying his apparent victory over Yami Yuki in this duel. Her Luster Dragon would be no match for his Blue Eyes White Dragon and he was going to make that quite clear to her. After all there are no more little tricks she can pull that could possibly keep her safe for another turn. He had already destroyed one of her strongest monsters when she had least expected it to happen. There was no way a simple hat would be able to hide her monster this time around. Which meant on his next turn he would blast her Luster Dragon away and deplete the rest of her life points in the process. It would have been enough to warm his heart with the joys of victory, if he had a heart anyways.
'Heh heh heh! This is almost too easy.' Evil Seto thought sadistically as he and his dragon stare unblinkingly at Yami Yuki.
"Yuki!" Tea called out as she was honestly losing hope that her friend can win.
"Hang on! Yuki can still win this." Tristan insisted as he looked down at Tea.
"Yeah! My sister's not beat yet." Yugi said as he also looked at Tea.
"Grr! Don't forget- she beat Kaiba last time." Joey reminded as he looked at Tea feeling disappointed that she was doubting their friend.
"Yuki!" Mokuba uttered as he was not sure what he should think or feel right now.
"It's time, Blue Eyes White Dragon. Attack!" Evil Seto ordered since it was now his turn.
"Grr- wait, huh?" Yami Yuki asked as she noticed small beams of light starting to shoot out of the Blue Eyes White Dragon's body.
"What are you waiting for? Attack!" Evil Seto shouted whilst his dragon shakes, glitches, and roars in pain as more beams of light break through its skin.
At the same time the stats on the computer were finally showing that the virus was doing damage to the dragon. Seto watched on with an unreadable expression as the virus attacks his beloved dragon. He was still on edge though because the Blue Eye's attack points were still at 3,000. So there he was standing with stiff posture as he watches the screen without blinking to the point that his eyes burn. He wasn't going to blink though for fear that he may miss something important happening in the duel. Something like that impostor summoning the third Blue Eyes and destroying Yuki's Luster Dragon as that would not be a good thing to have possibly happen.
"The virus is taking effect. Blue Eyes White Dragon's attack power is beginning to drop." The computer said as the attack point number was finally starting to decrease before his eyes.
"But it's still too strong. It has to get weaker or it'll still beat Yuki." Seto said as the dragons attack points what down in the 2,000s range and dropping fast.
Simultaneously as the points begin to drop Yami Yuki looks at the attack number display that is on her holo computer in curious confusion. She had not done anything that would cause the mighty dragon to increasingly become weaker. She knows that Evil Seto wouldn't ever dream of doing something to make his dragon weaker. Not when he was so closet to defeating her seeing as she had no other moves that could save herself. As crazy as this assumption sounded: it seemed like an outside force was weakening the dragon almost as if to help her win. Now the only person Yami Yuki could think of that would do such a thing would be the real Seto Kaiba but then that would mean... That what Kemo said about Seto being dead was a big fat lie and that this Evil Seto was an impostor after all!
"Am I trippin'?" Yami Yuki asked wanting to make sure that this was happening.
"What's going on? My Blue Eyes White Dragon!" Evil Seto exclaimed as his dragon physically began to melt as it got weaker.
"This is Kemo to Pegasus. I hope you're watching, sir, cause we got a real problem out here." Kemo said as everyone watched on in shock except except for Mokuba who had a wide open mouthed smile at the scene.
Up at the castle Croquet and Pegasus heard what Kemo said as they were infact watching this unfold from the dinning room. Croquet seemed genuinely shocked at how this was happening whilst Pegasus was just smiling with his eye closed. The big monitor above the dinning room was showing them a close up view of the melting Blue Eyes as well as many other duels. All while Pegasus snacks on cheese and fruits as he drinks on of his favorite wines, clearly enjoying the show. After all how can he not when he knows that regardless of the outcome of this duel he will get exactly what he wants. After all this is his island and his rules so if he wants something then he will get it and no one can stop him.
"How did Yuki do that?" Croquet asked as he looked at the screen as his shock was hidden by his sunglasses.
"It wasn't Yuki. It was Seto Kaiba." Pegasus stated simply with his eye still closed.
"How?" Croquet asked since last he checked Seto Kaiba was supposed to be dead.
"It seems that the real Kaiba is still very much alive." Pegasus revealed as he opens his eye once again.
At the same time Seto was waiting with bated breath as he kept his eyes glued to the screen. With each passing second the Blue Eyes White Dragon got weaker and it was obvious his impostor was unable to attack because of it. This was good but again there was the risk of having his impostor summoning the third Blue Eyes and attacking first. Seto knew that his virus would do its job and would weaken the dragon but it can only do so much. He then would reluctantly have to leave everything else about the outcome of the duel up to Yuki and her Luster Dragon. Though he was hoping that by the time he does have to leave things up to her that the dragon will be much much weaker.
"The Blue Eyes White Dragon's attack power is dropping rapidly. The virus implant is successfully disabling the monster completely." The computer explained as this news was like lifting a weight off of Seto's shoulders.
"All right. Now let's get to work on dragon number 3." Seto said since he was going to be cautious and do away with the third dragon before it can be summoned.
"Standing by." The computer said as she tried to switch to the third dragon but the screen glitches and freezes.
"What's the matter?" Seto asked as he wondered if his computer had crashed again.
"We've been locked out by a remote terminal. Looks like we've been hacked!" The computer revealed as this did not help with Seto's already sour mood.
"Argh!" Seto groaned in frustration as that same cartoon rabbit known as Funny Bunny from earlier walks out onto his frozen screen.
"Hey, Kaiba! Hey, Kaiba! Hey, Kaiba! Hey, Kaiba! Hey, Kaiba! Hey, Kaiba! Heyyyy..." Funny Bunny chanted as he danced on the screen and soon multiple Funny Bunny's appeared across his screens.
"Ugh! It's Pegasus!" Seto uttered in complete shock as he looked at the chanting cartoon bunny on his screen.
Meanwhile Pegasus, whom knew that by now Seto was getting taunted by Funny Bunny, couldn't help but laugh. The young CEO had thought he was clever when it came to his plan of trying to help Yuki win. However he overlooked the fact that hacking into Industrial Illusions meant revealing his location. Which meant that his men now knew where the pesky older Kaiba was hiding and were on-route to apprehend him. All while Pegasus himself didn't even have to lift a finger in order to get this task done. His men would do all the work for him whilst he can just sit back and enjoy his cheese and wine without a care in the world. Much to his joy they were doing just that as his men had surrounded the Kaiba mansion's front door.
"Move in on my mark." A goon said into a walkie talkie as 6 other goons were surrounding the big wooden double doors.
"Let's go!" Another goon exclaimed as the quickly opened both of the doors.
"Cover me!" A third goon said as they all rush inside the mansion so that they can find Seto and capture or kill him depending on what Pegasus wants.
While this was happening an oblivious Seto was once again waiting with bated breath at what is happening. Now that he is locked out he can't do anything else to help make sure that Yuki can win this duel. All he could do was look helplessly at his frozen screen as there was no way he'd be able to get back into the system in time. The fact that he is helpless pissed him off because he never wants to feel like this in any situation. Not only because he has to be strong for his little brother on a daily basis but also because he has worked too hard just to feel helpless. It was extremely frustrating especially since if Yuki loses then his efforts to help her would have been for nothing.
"Attack power is holding now at 2,000." The computer announced as she at least got the screen to be unfrozen as it shows Seto the dragons new attack power.
"But this should've worked." Seto protested since his plan had been fool proof.
"The Blue Eyes White Dragon is launching its attack." The computer said which greatly shocked Seto.
"No!" Seto exclaimed as if that would help the situation.
Back with Yami Yuki at the duel the still melting Blue Eyes did infact start to launch its attack. It opened its maws to reveal a small ball of light that got bigger as it glitched and dripped. Meanwhile Luster Dragon was standing tall as it was more than ready to sacrifice itself so that its duelist may survive another turn. Now since the Blue Eyes now only has 2,000 attack points it means that it is only 100 points stronger than Yami Yuki's dragon. That's not exactly a comforting thought seeing as her dragon was about to be destroyed by a still somewhat strong Blue Eyes White Dragon. Yami Yuki's grip on her cards tightened slightly as she gives her Luster Dragon an apologetic look. She never was a fan of having her monsters basically being sacrificed even when she means to do that to them.
"Now, Blue Eyes White Dragon, time to obliterate them!" Evil Seto bellowed as his dragon attacked.
"Ohh!" Everyone but Kemo gasped in shocked and worry as this happens.
"Unh! Yuki!" The real Seto exclaimed from his hidden room and banged his fists against the console as he watched this attack happen.
"Seto?" Yami Yuki muttered as her eyes widened slightly and the eye of Anubis appeared on her forehead as Seto basically yelling her name had echoed in her mind.
Just as the dragon's attack was about to hit it suddenly stopped and dissipated into small white sparkles. Her Luster Dragon was left unharmed and still standing tall as it roared at the melting Blue Eyes White Dragon. As the eye of Anubis faded away from her forehead the heterochromic eyed girl realized two important things. Firstly she heard the real Seto call out her name in her head and secondly after that happened the Blue Eyes stopped attacking. Now no one else knew this though as they were staring at her still standing Luster Dragon in complete confusion. Never in the history of dueling has an attack ever just dissipated rather than hitting its target without a viable reason.
"The attack, it stopped." Yami Yuki said as she looked at the white sparkles floating around before they dissipated to. "Wait! The Blue Eyes!" She exclaimed as she looked towards the melting dragon in confused curiosity as it roars in pain as it bubbles and melts before disappearing in a bright light.
"I, I think it just, died..." Yugi mumbled feeling thoroughly creeped out by what happened.
"This can't be!" Evil Seto whimpered as he looked at the field which was void of a Blue Eyes White Dragon.
"Ohh." Tea and Tristan both gasped in awe about what just happened.
"It's gone." Joey breathed out also in awe at what had happened.
"It's a trick." Kemo protested not believing that the dragon had been destroyed without it being attacked.
At this same time the real Seto was looking at his screen in shock and relief at what had just happened. Though his mind was also going a mile a minute as he tried to figure out why he yelled Yuki's name and why he sounded so worried for her. It didn't make any sense, why would he be worried about a girl who defeated him in a duel and basically stripped him of his title? Why would he care about the well being of some girl he's only ever talked to once during a duel? It made no sense to the young CEO and had him questioning quite a few things: like does he really only care about his brother and his company? All of these questions running through his mind gave him a major headache and honestly made him want to rip out his hair.
"The Blue Eyes White Dragon has been destroyed, but the virus was not responsible." The computer said which made no sense what so ever.
"Then how? Did Yuki Muto somehow do this?" Seto asked since he wanted an actually reason as to how the dragon was destroyed if it wasn't the virus's doing.
"How could she? It is your deck." The computer said as Seto soon came to a revelation.
"It's the Heart of the Cards. Yuki was right." Seto said as he realized that his dragon responded to his worry for Yuki and destroyed itself. "Huh?" He asked as he glanced off over his shoulder slightly when he heard a beeping sound.
It was the door telling him that someone had found the book that moves the book cases. Outside the room the goons sent by Pegasus watched as part of the bookcase slid to the side revealing the hidden door. As this was happening Evil Seto was having a total meltdown about what had happened to hiss dragon. He couldn't believe that Yami Yuki had destroyed his dragon without even lifting a finger or having her monster attack. It made zero sense to him since his dragon had been stronger than her Luster Dragon and should've destroyed it. Yet her dragon was still standing without a single scratch as he has to send yet another Blue Eyes to the grave yard as they are still tied at 500 life points.
"Why? Why me?!" Evil Seto bellowed as he he held his head with both hands and looked completely distraught.
"I'll tell you why. Because Seto is still alive. He's the one who stopped you!" Yami Yuki revealed as she glared at the distraught impostor.
"Silence! I am Seto!" Evil Seto yelled as he banged his fists against his holo computer.
"Silence yourself! Your little charade is over you sham!" Yami Yuki said as she has been done with this from the moment it started.
"My brother is alive!" Mokuba exclaimed happily at the fact that Yami Yuki confirmed what he already knew.
"What's going on?" Tea asked as this was all too confusing for her to wrap her head around.
"It's like Yuki said. Last time Yuki dueled my brother, she showed Seto the Heart of the Cards. This faker may have taken is deck, but the real Seto Kaiba is alive and well." Mokuba explained causing the three teens to let out small "ohh"'s as they caught onto what Mokuba was saying.
"Which means that the real Kaiba destroyed his own monster to give my sister a chance to win." Yugi added for clarification as he had caught onto what was happening at the same time Mokuba did.
"Faker! The real Seto Kaiba destroyed that dragon! I know this, because I sensed him calling out to me when it was happening. Now, I think we've all had enough of your lies! We all know you're not Seto." Yami Yuki hissed out as she pointed an accusing finger at the impostor who was still having a meltdown. "It's high time you show us who you truly are." She said since she didn't want this faker hiding in a Seto skin suit any longer.
"I told you, I am Seto. Ha ha ha ha ha! Or at least I'm part of him- the darkest part." Evil Seto said as he began to change forms as his clothes ripped and changed as he became overweight. "Ah ha ha ha ha ha! Ahh." He laughed as the last thing to change was his face as he became a overweight man with pink hair, cyan blue eyes, and a wide toothless grin with a high voice.
"Eww! You were a part of Seto?!" Yami Yuki exclaimed as she looked ready to puke because how could someone so hot house something that ugly?
"Ah hee hee ha ha ha ha! I can see you don't recognize me, Yuki. I wasn't lying when I told you I was Seto Kaiba- the evil part of him that you sent to the Shadow Realm after our last duel! Now I'm back, thanks to Pegasus! Ha ha ha ha ha!" Evil Seto explained with a laugh as he revealed what happened to him after the duel.
"You're not a part of my brother anymore!" Mokuba called out surprisingly ok with the fact that Yami Yuki sending away his brothers evil side was true.
"Eww. It's hideous." Tea said as she hugged herself with a disgusted look and a shiver.
"I always thought that this duel just might turn ugly. But I never thought that ugly." Joey said as he gave Evil Seto a thumbs down while Tristan just stood there looking dumbfounded.
At this same time Pegasus's goons finally forced open the security lock on the door as it slides open. However all they see when they storm into the room was static playing on the screens and an empty room. There was no sign of Seto anywhere as the men groaned and lowered their guns that they had ready incase he was hostile. They were all extremely disappointed since they had wanted to be able to fight or at least shoot something. Instead they are just left standing there not knowing what to do because there doesn't seem to be any other way to get out of the room. Which raised the question of how did Seto get out of the room when the only way out seems to be the door that they came in?
"Sir, he got away." A goon said into his phone as the other two looked at the empty room in disappointment.
"Search the grounds. Everywhere." Croquet ordered as him and two other goons were standing guard over Pegasus.
"Hmm. It appears that young Yuki's nemesis, the real Seto Kaiba, has come to her rescue. I must admit that this little development is one twist that even I did not foresee." Pegasus said to himself as he wasn't even upset about these change of events.
"I have some bad news, sir. The real Kaiba has eluded us once again." Croquet said as his phone call had ended a few seconds ago. "You were right. He was using a terminal in the Kaiba Mansion to access the Industrial Illusions mainframe. If I thought he was alive, I would have beefed up security." He said feeling terrible that his lack of caution had caused Seto to slip out of their grasp.
"That's two escapes, Croquet. Must I lock you away again? Get me Kemo on the radio." Pegasus said as he was now going to abuse his power as the person in charge.
"Hey, ugly, if I were you, I'd start worrying about what my big brother's gonna do to you when he finally catches up to you." Mokuba called up to the Evil Seto from his spot next to Kemo as he smiles.
"Pegasus to Kemo. Seto Kaiba has gotten away. Don't lose the little one, no matter what!" Pegasus ordered over the radio as Kemo turned his head to the side slightly.
"Understood." Kemo replied as he knew what he needed to do when it comes to Mokuba.
"Well, I guess I just don't know what I should call you. I was thinking monster, but I don't want to insult the Duel Monsters." Yami Yuki said because she doesn't want to give this creep the satisfaction of calling him Seto.
"Hmm." Evil Seto hummed as he gained a creepy smile once again.
"It's your move. You've got a whole deck left at your disposal and only one more Blue Eyes White Dragon." Yami Yuki said as Evil Seto draws a card and looks at it.
"Grappler, in defense mode! Ha ha ha ha ha!" Evil Seto laughed as he put the card in play as a lanky purple and red lizard man with shoulder pads appears on the field with 1,300 attack and 1,200 defense points.
'He's just trying to by himself time until he can draw his last Blue Eyes.' Yami Yuki deduced as she drew a new card from her deck. "It's my turn now." She said as she looked at the card she was now holding. 'If it weren't for that Defense Paralysis card still in play I could put him in defense mode, which means I can only attack, and without a defense my monsters are sitting ducks if he draws his last Blue Eyes White Dragon.' Yami Yuki thought as she finally had to come to a decision. "I'll set one card face down on the field and summon the Celtic Guardian as well, in attack mode!" She said as she puts a card face down and summons her monster as a blonde elf in armor with a sword appears next to her dragon with an attack of 1,400 and a defense of 1,200. "Looks like your Grappler didn't cut it." Yami Yuki stated as she had her Celtic Guardian cut the Grappler in half and destroyed it.
"Ah, parting is such sweet sorrow. Next stop is Mystic Horseman in defense mode, and I'll lay one of my cards face down, just like you." Evil Seto said as he puts a card face down and puts that monster into play.
'Face down? Fuck then does that mean it's a magic card, or a trap card?' Yami Yuki wondered as she drew another card from her deck and looked at it for a moment. "Again, I'll play a face down card, and I'll use my Mystical Elf in attack mode. Plus I'll give her this Book of Secret Arts to raise her attack and defense power by 300 points!" She said as a blue skinned elf with dirty blonde hair in a green dress with a tiara of some kind appeared and was chanting with her eyes closed as she had 1,100 attack and 2,300 defense. "My turns over now." Yami Yuki stated as there was nothing else she could do for this turn.
"Patience, Yuki, for it will soon be all over." Evil Seto said with a wag of his grey gloved finger. 'Yuki has 2 cards face down and 3 monsters. She must be trying to strengthen the Mystical Elf somehow to withstand my Mystic Horseman's attack.' He thought as he watched as the Mystical Elf began to glow as she continued to chant. 'But if I draw the final Blue Eyes and destroy any one of her monsters, that will take her life points down to zero, anyway. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!' Evil Seto thought with a laugh as he begins to grin.
"I find it hard to believe, but I'm likin' the look on that guys face even less than I did before." Joey said as that was the kind of grin only a psychopath would have.
"Wipe that smile off his face, Yuki!" Tea called out because that guys smile was giving her the creeps.
"Kick his ass back to where he came from, Yuki!" Yugi encouraged as he knew that his sister could do that hands down.
"Loser! Make your move!" Mokuba yelled as he jumped around as much as Kemo's hand holding his shoulder would let him.
"Ha ha ha ha ha ha! As you wish." Evil Seto said as he drew a new card from his deck yet again. "Now, prepare... for the Blue Eyes White Dragon!" He exclaimed as he showed everyone the card before putting it into play as the menacing dragon appeared with a roar.
"Yuki!" Joey called out as he took a step forward in concern about what is happening.
"Don't worry, Yuki. My brother will help out, just like last time." Mokuba reassured since he knows his brother wouldn't leave somebody he's trying to help hanging.
"Dream on. Your luck's about to run out. Just see for yourself. Unlike the last Blue Eyes, this one's at full power, and your brother's in no position to do a thing about it. 'Cause we found where his hiding place is, and now he's on the run." Kemo said smugly as he drew their attention to the healthy and powerful Blue Eyes White Dragon as it gives out a bone chilling roar.
"So that means Kaiba is alive?" Tristan asked having not really caught onto what is happening till now.
"Dimwit. It means don't expect another miracle, cause this duel's about to end. Ha ha ha ha ha!" Kemo laughed as Mokuba seemed so crushed by that news.
"Oh, no!" Mokuba whimpered because if Seto can't help then what was going to happen now?
"Ha ha ha ha! Such a good dragon! Wouldn't you say, Yuki? This duel's about to end now! Go! White Lightning attack!" Evil Seto commanded as he finger gun pointed at Yami Yuki's monsters as his dragon launches its attack.
"Oh no you don't, this duel's not over yet. Cause I've got a little card I'm gonna activate called Mirror Force!" Yami Yuki said as she showed Evil Seto one of the cards she had face down as it was a trap card depicting a barrier deflecting an attack.
"Wah! She's turned over a trap card!" Evil Seto exclaimed in shock as a invisible barrier appeared infront of the Mystical Elf just as the dragons attack was about to hit her.
"That's right, and the mirror force now reflects your attack back at you." Yami Yuki said as the barrier sends the attack speeding back the Blue Eyes as it shatters.
"Pretty good trick, but I'm ready with one of my own. I'll use Negate Attack." Evil Seto said as he showed Yami Yuki a card depicting a red and purple vortex as the attack just seems to pass through the dragon.
'Oh shit! He had a trap card of his own waiting in the wings, just in case.' Yami Yuki thought watching as the rest of the redirected attack just passes through the dragon.
"Negate Attack neutralizes any attack thrown at me, even if it's one of my own." Evil Seto stated smugly with an even smugger grin on his face.
"Yuki!" Tea called out as once again it seemed like her friend was on the losing side of a duel.
'It's all over.' Mokuba thought sadly as he looked ready to cry as he watches the duel.
"Ha ha ha ha! It really is about time we finish this duel with Monster Reborn!" Yami Yuki said as she showed Evil Seto a magic card depicting an ornate ambulate/talisman.
"Oh, no! That allows you to revive any monster lost in this duel from either deck!" Evil Seto bellowed as he began to shake slightly.
"Good for you for knowing the rules. Now guess what card I want? Come forth and be reborn, Blue Eyes White Dragon!" Yami Yuki called out as the Blue Eyes from before appears on her field healthy and powerful once again with a roar.
"Ahh ha! Fat lot of good that move's gonna do you, Yuki! Both of these monsters are evenly matched." Evil Seto stated as he was sweating slightly from nervousness as the two Blue Eyes's stare each other down.
"No, their powers are nowhere near the same." Yami Yuki revealed with a confident smirk as Evil Seto gasps in shock. "You've seem to have forgotten about my Mystical Elf. She's been chanting a spell ever since she appeared on the field. It allows her to transfer her own attack power to any other monster that I choose." She explained as the now brightly glowing Mystical Elf is still chanting.
"What? This can't be." Evil Seto said not believing that that is what the elf was going to do.
"This move was inspired by Seto himself, he showed me that you can alter a Blue Eyes White Dragons attack power, but i'm raising mine rather than decreasing it like Seto did with yours!" Yami Yuki said as her dragons attack power climbed up to 4,100 attack points thanks to the Mystical Elf.
"This can't be happening! Oh, no! No!" Evil Seto yelled as he held his face in his hands.
"Consider this a message to you from the real Seto Kaiba: you lose douche-bag!" Yami Yuki shouted with a fire in her eyes that she has only ever had for her friends and family.
"Ohh!" Evil Seto whimpered from behind his hands as he knew he was beat.
"Now then, Blue Eyes, obliterate!" Yami Yuki commanded as her powered up Blue Eyes attacks, destroying Evil Seto's Blue Eyes as everyone had to shield their eyes from the blinding light as they scream.
"Ahh!" Evil Seto screamed as well as he shielded his eyes from the light that came from the attack.

"Pegasus may have enabled you to escape from the Shadow Realm once before, but it will not happen again." Yami Yuki said as a rainbow version of the eye of Anubis appeared on her forehead. "Never again!" She bellowed as she held her hand out towards the Evil Seto.
"Ahh!" Evil Seto yelled as he was attacked with the same blow that sent him to the Shadow Realm once before as it sends him there again.
"Pegasus, I know you're watching. Consider this your first and final warning. Nothing you send will be able to stop me, and when we finally duel, trust me, I will be the victor. I'll win back my Grandpa's soul, and you will pay dearly for all the people you've hurt in the name of your sick and twisted game. I'm coming for you, Pegasus!" Yami Yuki promised to Pegasus who was indeed watching the blinding light coming from the screen as his wine glass cracks and then shattered before the screen goes blank.
"Ha ha ha ha ha ha! Yuki, you've developed your shadow powers quite a bit in such a short time. But when we finally duel, believe me, your Millennium Puzzle will be mine. Ha ha ha ha!" Pegasus stated with a laugh not even fazed that his win glass shattered and spilled wine everywhere.
With Evil Seto now gone and the duel won Yami Yuki put her cards away before going over to the red holo computer. After getting up there she collected all of Seto's cards and the three star chips that she won. She had a feeling she would be seeing the real him again soon so she was going to give them back and thank him for the help. As she does this her friends and brother wait for her below the arena as she picked up the deck and looked at it. Yami Yuki couldn't help but rub her thumb gently across the Blue Eyes card that she had put on top of the deck. She felt her heart swell with happiness at the fact that this dragon seemed to trust her enough to actually listen to her in a duel.
"Seto." Yami Yuki muttered as she continued to look at the card.
"That ghost is toast, huh, Yuki?" Joey asked with a grin as he was proud of her for basically beating Seto a second time.
"I knew that the real Kaiba was alive the whole time." Tristan said with his arms crossed as he was trying not to look like he had been clueless.
"Hey uh, where's Mokuba?" Yugi asked as he looked around and saw no sign of the younger Kaiba sibling.
"Huh?" Tea asked as she looked around as well but saw no sign of Mokuba either.
"What is it?" Joey asked as he hadn't quite caught on to the fact that Mokuba was gone.
"That creep took Mokuba!" Tea said as Yugi nodded causing everyone to look at them in confusion.
"What? Mokuba!" Yami Yuki called out as she looked around from her spot up at the holo computer to see if she could spot them.
"I can't believe it." Tea said since Mokuba had been right next to them yet they didn't see him get taken.
"Mokuba! Dammit, he's gone. Taken again." Yami Yuki said feeling guilty that she had been so busy dueling that she hadn't noticed when Mokuba was taken away.
As Yami Yuki gets down from the duel arena her friends and brother began calling out to Mokuba. They were hoping that maybe if they called Mokuba's name enough he may hear them and call out to them. However the more they called out the more it became clear that if the youngest Kaiba could he would've called out to them by now. Which meant that Kemo must've slipped away with Mokuba when everyone was blinded by the light that came from her powered up Blue Eye's attack. This not only meant that Kemo had a head start on them but it also meant that he could be back at the castle by now. Which sadly meant that Mokuba was out of their reach and Yami Yuki wouldn't be able to fulfill her promise to him.
