Wolfie: I do not own Yu-Gi-Oh, all I own is Yuki and any plot alterations I make in order to add her and make her different from Yugi. Now I want to make a note here and now that any card I use for Yuki that isn't in Yugi's Grandpa's original deck is worth looking up. That way there isn't any confusion when I talk about a card that is different or not in the deck at all. However I will state otherwise up here if there is a fan-made card that Yuki is using that isn't even real. Now please read, review, and I hope you're enjoying the story so far.

Chapter 21: Evil Spirit of the Ring

After moving her friends bodies safely off to the side Yami Yuki and Yami Bakura once again stood on opposite sides of the stump. They still seemed to just be staring at one another as the evil version of the soft spoken albino was smirking. Now that smirk didn't sit well with Yami Yuki as it made her feel like there was some kind of catch to this duel. However she can't worry about that now cause her friends souls were on the line here. Which means that she has to do this as quickly as possible so that her friends body's get their souls back. Easier said than done though because Yami Bakura seems really confident that he will win this duel and get her puzzle. His confidence was honestly annoying in her opinion as the last four people she defeated were also this confident in their ability to win.

"This mysterious bullshit is getting on my nerves, Bakura. Why are we in the Shadow Realm?" Yami Yuki asked since she wanted answers and she wanted them now.

"Bakura? Bakura's no longer here." Yami Bakura stated with a chuckle as Yami Yuki's right eye twitched in annoyance.

"Then who the hell are you if you aren't Bakura?" Yami Yuki demanded with a fierce glare towards the person who looked alot like Bakura.

"I am a thief, and a stealer of souls, and I have done terrible things in my quest to possess the Millennium Items. You do remember the legends, don't you? "Whosoever wields all seven Millennium Items will possess power unimaginable". And before I'm done with you, your Millennium Puzzle will be mine." Yami Bakura explained as if this is something that Yami Yuki should know by heart as well.

"I assure you that isn't going to happen, whoever the fuck you are!" Yami Yuki exclaimed as her right hand lightly gripped her Millennium Puzzle.

"Then let the Shadow Game begin." Yami Bakura stated as him and Yami Yuki stared fiercely at one another.

Bakura: 2,000 Yuki: 2,000

"The first move is yours." Yami Bakura said but it wasn't because he was trying to be nice.

"Then my first card is: The Cyber Commander. Tristan's favorite card." Yami Yuki said as she placed the card in defense, and then the card glowed as Tristan dressed at The Cyber Commander appeared on the field! "Tristan?" She asked as she looked down at the small version of her friend in shock.

"Huh? What a weird dream." Tristan said as he looked down at the shotgun he now held in his hands. "Huh? Where am I? What's going on here?" He asked as he looked around in a now panicked confusion. "Aah!" Tristan yelled in shock when he turned and saw a giant sized Yami Yuki staring down at him.

"Bakure, or whoever this guy thinks he is, must've used his Millennium Ring to steal Tristan's soul and trap it within his favorite card." Yami Yuki mused aloud as that seemed to be the only explanation to this.

"Heh heh heh! Who's your little friend, Yuki? He looks pretty tough, but can he deal with this?" Yami Bakura asked as he took a card from his hand and put it on the field in attack mode. "The White Magical Hat. Attack!" He ordered as a mustached man in a purple suit, white top hat, white cape with red lining, and white shoes and gloves appeared.

"Oh, man! I must still be dreaming!" Tristan exclaimed as he turned back around just as White Magical Hat started charging at him. "Yeah, that's it. this is all just a really bad- aah! Oh!" He started only to yell as White Magical hat punched him and he glowed red before disappearing.

"Tristan!" Yami Yuki yelled as her friend disappeared right before her eyes.

"Heh heh heh heh. Aw, looks like that card's been defeated and your poor friend's soul was trapped with in it." Yami Bakura said as he was actually happy that this had been the outcome.

"Where is Tristan? What've you done with my friend?" Yami Yuki demanded, wanting to know what exactly happened to her friend.

"Your friend is gone, on his way to the discard pile, or the Graveyard, as we call it in Duel Monsters." Yami Bakura explained sinisterly as he was hinting at something that Yami Yuki didn't want consider let alone believe.

"You can't be serious. Tristan can't be, dead!" Yami Yuki argued as she glanced back at Tristan's soulless body.

Then in a green cloud skied realm filled with nothing but grave stones and dirt paths Tristan, still dressed as Cyber Commander, walked down one of those paths. The place immediately started to creep him out but he was confused as to how he got there. After all the last thing he remembered was that he got attacked and then the next thing he knows is he wandering around an unknown graveyard. Though soon Tristan walked over and kneeled down infront of a gravestone that had the name covered in dust. However he was shocked to see that once he cleared the dust away that it was his own name on the stone! He didn't understand how he could possibly be dead, after all he's just too young to die now! Especially when his friends still need him and his help. Meanwhile Yami Yuki couldn't help but growl in anger, at both Yami Bakura and herself. Maybe if she had done more she could've prevented Tristan/Cyber Commander from being sent to the Graveyard.

"When you duel in the Shadow Realm, the stakes are always higher, Yuki." Yami Bakura said with a chuckle, depleting some of her life points would've made this all the more sweeter though. "You made a sloppy move, and now your friend, he paid for it with his very soul. Now, which of your friends will you sacrifice next?" He asked causing Yami Yuki's eyes to widen slightly as she then looked at the cards in her hand.

'Damnit, I'd try to avoid using the cards that contain my friends trapped souls in them if I could. But if I want to save my friends, I'll have to win. And there's only one card that's currently in my hand that can beat his White Magical Hat.' Yami Yuki thought as she pulled a card from her hand and placed it on the field in attack mode. "Now I'll play The Flame Swordsman, Joey's favorite card." She said as a small version of Joey dressed as The Flame Swordsman appeared on the field holding his sword, ready to attack.

"Hey? What gives? Hey, Yuki- aah!" Joey started as he turned around only to yell in shock just like Tristan did when he saw the giant Yami Yuki looking down at him. "What da- you're a giant!" He yelled in shock as he continued to look up at the giant tri colored haired female. "Oh, man, I finally cracked." Joey whimpered as he glanced at himself, thinking that he's gone insane.

"Joey, calm down. You need to listen to me. You haven't finally cracked, your soul has been trapped inside your favorite card. You've become The Flame Swordsman." Yami Yuki explained calmly but that didn't seem to help Joey calm down at all.

"I'm da who?" Joey asked in shock, staring at Yami Yuki with wide eyes.

"If I lose this duel, then we can't restore you to normal. However if you are defeated in this battle phase, you'll be sent to the card Graveyard just like Tristan was." Yami Yuki continued to explain, knowing that that may scare Joey even more but he needed to know the truth.

"Graveyard?!" Joey exclaimed whilst stiffening up in complete terror.

"In order for me to win this duel, restore you and the others to your bodies and get us out of the Shadow Realm, I'll need your help." Yami Yuki stated as that seemed to break Joey out of his fearful stupor he had been in.

"You want my help, you got my help." Joey reassured with a smile, happy to be able to help his friend.

"You sure you're ok?" Yami Yuki questioned since she doesn't want to make Joey do something he doesn't feel ready for.

"Ok? I figure I've lost my mind, but I'm gonna go with it. Now, who wants a beating, eh?" Joey asked as he turned around, pointing his sword at whoever is supposed to be his enemy. "Aah! Giant Bakura?! Now i know I'm nuts. I'm like 6 inches tall, wearin' a dress, about to fight my giant friend?" He asked as he was now looking at the still smirking Yami Bakura in shock.

"He may look like Bakura, but that's not really him. An evil spirit that resided within his Millennium Ring has taken him over." Yami Yuki revealed as Yami Bakura is nowhere near fazed by what she had said.

"Well... I have no idea what you're talkin' about, so here goes nothin'." Joey said as he shifted the way he was holding the sword so he now held it with two hands. "Aah!" He yelled as he charged at White Magical Hat, slicing at him with his sword. "Say good-bye to The Cat in the Hat." Joey said as the attack destroyed Yami Bakura's monster, deducting 800 from his life points.

Bakura: 1,200 Yuki: 2,000

"Whoa, man. I did it, Yuki." Joey said, feeling proud of himself as he turned to look at Yami Yuki. "Now what?" He asked, wondering is finishing his attack meant that it was the end of her turn or not.

"Now it's his turn." Yami Yuki stated simply as she looked at Yami Bakura as he growled.

"Your little swordsman got lucky last time, Yuki, but not this time!" Yami Bakura hissed out as he drew a new card, added it to his hand, and then grabbed a card and put it on the field face down.

"Huh? Why'd he play that one face down?" Yami Yuki asked softly as she looked at the face down card in confusion.

"'Cause he's afraid of what Joey da Swordsman'll do to it." Joey said as he prepared to attack yami Bakura's face down monster card.

"Hang on a minute, Joey. This could be a trap." Yami Yuki warned, attempting to stop Joey from doing something that he shouldn't do.

"I'm going in." Joey uttered as he rushed towards the face down card.

"Joey wait!" Yami Yuki exclaimed as the card flipped over revealing a jar of sorts containing a black one eyed monster with a big yellow toothed grin.

"Aah!" Joey yelled as the jar appeared and the back monster came out, opening his mouth as he came towards Joey. "Hasan chop!" he exclaimed whilst slicing through the black limbless mass. "Ta-da!" Joey finished as the card fell over, thinking that he had done good.

"What a dolt." Yami Bakura stated in amusement at what Joey had done.

"That, thing, was a Morphing Jar!" Yami Yuki declared in shock as she recognised the monster.

"Huh? A Morphing Jar? Did I screw up?" Joey asked since he didn't know what a Morphing Jar is or what it does.

"When a Morphing Jar is successfully attacked, all the cards in both players' hands go to the Graveyard!" Yami Yuki said before glancing at the cards that she no had to discard. "We're just extremely lucky that I didn't have the card that contains Tea's soul in my hand." She uttered softly whilst still looking at the four cards in her hand.

"Whoa. Sorry, Yu." Joey breathed out, getting down on his and bowing apologetically to his friend as she puts her four cards in the Graveyard pile and then drew a new hand. Yami Bakura doing the same as the tri colored star shaped haired girl mentally gasped at the last card she drew.

'High Priestess of Prophecy! She's my favorite card! But wait, is my soul also trapped in this card like everyone else's are? What's going to happen when I play it?' Yami Yuki wondered as she stared at the pink haired white cladded high priestess in shock as the albino male across from her chuckles.

"With a new hand... comes a whole new perspective." Yami Bakura spoke as he took a card from his new hand and laid it face down in defense mode. "The game... ever shifting... New dangers surround every turn." He said as he placed a second card face down on one of the magic/trap card spaces.

'He's trying to freak me out, trying to make me crack under the pressure, but I can't figure out what he's up to. I guess i'm just going to have to risk it...' Yami Yuki thought as she took a card from her hand and placed it on the field. "High Priestess of Prophecy!" She said as the card glowed and a small version of Yuki dressed as High Priestess of Prophecy appeared on the field.

"Aah! Huh?" Yuki asked in confusion as things had gotten alot more up close and personal than they were before.

"And I'll play a magic card that lets me revive monsters from the Graveyard." Yami Yuki, now just Yami, said as she placed the card on the field behind Joey. "Reborn the Monster!" She said as the card glowed and Tristan was back on the field yet again standing on the card.

"Huh? What the- Joey? Yuki? You guys dreamin' this, too?" Tristan asked as he noticed both of his friends as they looked at him too.

"Nah, this ain't no dream, Tristan. This is just me going insane. S'all one big delusion." Joey responded as if that was a good enough explanation for this situation.

"Huh?" Tristan uttered still feeling extremely confused right now.

"Now wait just a damn minute. Just a second ago, I was up there you guys." Yuki revealed feeling so confused right now as she looked at Tristan.

"Yeah. If you're down here, who's that up there?" Tristan asked as him and Yuki looked back up towards Yami.

"I honestly have no idea." Yuki replied as she looked at the giant, maturer looking version of herself that looked back at her.

"Don't you?" Yami asked curiously as she thought Yuki knew who she was.

"Well, to be honest I have sometimes noticed that, when I'm dueling, I feel like someone is guiding me. Helping me make the right moves whenever I'm stuck." Yuki said as at first she thought it was nothing, but now it seems like she was wrong.

"Hm." Yami hummed with a smile as she nods, glad that Yuki was finally starting to figure things out.

"And sometimes it's like I hear I strong voice calling out to me from my puzzle. An ancient, powerful voice. Though it's weird cause, the voice sounded male, but maybe it was just my imagination on that part." Yuki explained but all that did was make Joey and Tristan look at her in confusion.

"Huh?/Really?" Joey and Tristan asked in confusion at the same time.

"I'm really not sure what it's all about, guys, but I'm positive we can trust her, him, them, whoever they are." Yuki said with a small smile as that seemed to be a good enough answer for Joey and Tristan.

"Hey, if da big you is ok in your book, then they're ok by me." Joey reassured with a smile as Tristan agreed with him.

"So, now what'll we do?" Yuki asked because now that she was down here she's technically not calling the shots anymore.

"Maybe we should try and find Tea and your brother." Tristan suggested because they were the only two left to possibly find.

"No Yugi was asleep remember, he didn't choose a card. As for Tea... she must still be in the deck." Yuki said since she didn't remember seeing Tea's favorite card in her hand before playing her own favorite card.

"Then we should try and win dis thing before her card gets played." Joey said since he didn't want to put Tea at risk of having her card defeated and her soul and card sent to the Graveyard.

"Good idea, Joey." Yuki agreed since she didn't want to put Tea at risk either.

"I'm gonna bash me some Bakura!" Joey exclaimed as he was about to go attack one of face down cards.

"Hold it, Joey. I was just put into play so I have to be the one to move." Yuki explained before turning her attention to cards as she attacked, the one she attacked flipping over to reveal another Morphing Jar. "Shit! Another Morphing Jar!" She exclaimed in shock as the thing laughed at her before being destroyed.

"Heh heh heh. We'll have to send all the cards in our hands to the Graveyard again." Yami Bakura said as Yami cringed slightly before putting the cards in her hand in the Graveyard pile.

"Sorry..." Yuki said as she turned and looked up at Yami, feeling bad that she cost them another hand.

"S'ok, I did the same thing." Joey said hoping to make Yuki feel better as Yami drew a new hand.

"Uhh! No! The Magician of Faith!" Yami uttered in dismay as he looked at the purple haired elven magician card he just drew.

"Hmm, isn't that Tea's favorite card? Do you suppose that her mortal soul is trapped within it? Hmm, I wonder? Maybe you should play it and find out." Yami Bakura suggested but it definitely wasn't because he wanted to be helpful or reassuring. "But, then again, you don't know what I'm laying here, so you might be putting her in danger." He warned whilst putting down a new card face down in defense mode. "A dilemma, and while you decide, I'll just activate this trap card." Yami Bakura said as he flipped over his other face down card. The picture depicting a overweight demon eating a turkey leg infront of a pile of empty plates.

"No!" Yami yelled as she recognized that card and knows what it does, much to her dismay.

"Just Desserts!" Yami Bakura exclaimed as the card glowed and a see through white hand rises up from it. "I think you'll find it will help you come to grips with your present situation." He said as the hand grabbed onto Yami's face and shocked her, depleting her life points by 1,500.

Bakura: 1,200 Yuki: 500

"Aah!" Yami yelled as she was shocked, hunching over in pain as the ghostly hand retreats back into its card.

"Heh heh! Just Desserts takes 500 points from each of your monsters on the field, and you'll feel like each and every point has been ripped from your beating heart." Yami Bakura said as Yami was still hunched over in pain with her eyes shut tightly.

"Big Yuki! Are you ok?" Tristan asked in worry for the bigger maturer looking version of his friend.

"Yes, but one more attack like that, and it's over." Yami strained out with her left eye open and her right eye still shut tightly in pain.

"Whoa! That trap card just nailed Yuki's life points. Or maybe I should say our life points." Tristan breathed out in worry as Joey gulped, also very worried.

"Another hit like that, and it could be over for all of us." Yami uttered, slowly recovering from that trap cards attack as she looked at her cards. "Tea's soul card is not safe in my hand. I'll have to play it." She murmured, taking said card and playing it face down in defense mode as it glowed.

"Uhh..." Tea mumbled as she sat up from underneath the card on her knees as she looked around with the card resting on her back and head. "Hey! What's up?" She asked when she noticed her friends infront of her who all looked at her in shock.

"Oh, boy." Joey said with a sweat drop before him, Yuki, and Tristan stood on all sides of Tea that weren't covered by the card on her back. Trying to keep her hidden and out of Yami Bakura's line of sight.

"Uh, guys-" Tea started to say in confusion, wondering why the three of them were standing infront of her.

"Stay quiet." Joey muttered to Tea as he stood infront of her with Yuki on his right and Tristan on his left.

"It's a little early for Halloween, don't you think? Huh? What the- what's this?" Tea asked before noticing her clothes and the gold moon staff on the ground next to her as she picked it up.

"Shush! Bakura and Yuki are big dueling giants, and are fighting for our souls." Joey explained whilst also trying to get Tea to stay quiet so she doesn't reveal herself to Yami Bakura.

"But Yuki's right here!" Tea argued in shocked confusion as she looked at Yuki who glanced at her out of the corner of her eyes.

"Yeah, well, you see that big me's not really me, but their also not really not me." Yuki rambled as there really was no easy way to explain this to Tea.

"Huh?!" Tea exclaimed in confused shock as she didn't follow along with any of that.

"Look I know it's kinda complicated, but it's got something to do with the Millennium Items Bakura and I have. It is some sort of magic." Yuki explained whilst looking at Yami and Yami Bakura as they were just staring at one another.

"Magic? So I'm not crazy." Tea said feeling relieved that her sanity was still intact.

"No, not unless we've all gone crazy Tea." Yuki said reassuringly with a smile as she looked at her only female friend.

"Just think of it this way, Tea. There's two Yuki's, the cool one up there, and the puny spitfire one down here." Joey said clearly joking about the puny part, looking over his shoulder at Tea with a smile.

"Ah!" Yuki groaned as she fell over in shock at what Joey said as Tea looked at her in confusion and concern. "Grr, that's not how this fucking works at all Joey!" She snapped as she quickly stood back up, getting up in Joey's face.

"Just a joke, relax." Joey reassured quickly whilst holding up his hands in surrender as he leaned back slightly.

"Tch, Joey you forget that here, I have the powers of High Priestess of Prophecy." Yuki said, clearly frustrated by Joey's joke as she walked away from hiding Tea from view.

"Uh, Yuki? I wouldn't do that if I were-" Tristan started to say as him and Joey watched what Yuki was doing.

"Shut up! Callin' me puny, I'll show you who's puny around here." Yuki grumbled as she extended her hand towards Yami Bakura's facedown card, ready to attack.

"Oh, boy." Joey uttered as purple humanoid-ish lizard appeared from the glowing card.

"Yuki! Wait!" Yami exclaimed in an attempt to warn Yuki but it was too late, because she had attacked and destroyed the squeaking lizard.

"All right!" Joey yelled happily at the fact that Yuki had destroyed the monster.

"Great job, Yuki." Tea praised as she watched in awe at the fact that Yuki could not only attack but destroy a duel monster.

"Heh heh." Yami Bakura chuckled as he watched in amusement and Yami watched on in worry but it was hidden by her serious facade.

Bakura: 1,200 Yuki: 500

"Aah! Uhh!" Yuki suddenly yelled in pain as her body started crackling with electricity before falling down to her knees.

"What? No!" Tea called out in concern and fear for her friend who was now hugging herself and shaking in pain on her knees.

"What was that?" Tristan asked, after all Yuki destroyed that monster so he was confused as to why she was on the floor shaking.

"I don't know, but whatever the hell it was, it's made my whole body go numb." Yuki strained out as she continued to shake and hug herself, her eyes shut tightly.

"Hang in there, pal." Joey said as he couldn't think of anything else to say to Yuki.

"Yuki!" Yami yelled, just as worried if not even more worried about Yuki and Yuki's wellbeing.

"Ha ha ha! You can't attack the Electric Lizard without some rather shocking feedback. A lesson your little Yuki won't soon forget. Ha ha ha!" Yami Bakura laughed, enjoying Yuki's pain as Yami growled and drew another card from his hand and looked at it.

"A trap card." Yami muttered as he looked at the picture depicting a ornate horn with small wings on coming out of the side. "All right, soul-stealer! I'll play my next card face down, and it's your move." She stated after placing her trap card face down behind the small version of Yuki and her friends.

"Ooh!" Joey and Tristan yelped and quickly tried to cover Tea more when Yami Bakura looked at them.

"Don't bother, you fools. I can see her perfectly well." Yami Bakura said dashing any hopes they had of keeping Tea out of harms way.

"Huh?!" Yami asked in confusion, wondering what exactly Yami Bakura was talking about.

"Now I have all four of you right where I want you- helpless on the field, easy prey for my Man Eater Bug!" Yami Bakura revealed as he took said card from his current hand that he has.

"Man Eater Bug? Glad me and Yuki are girls." Tea said in relief as all five of them watch Yami Bakura place the card face down.

"Yuki, what's that card do?" Joey questioned, wanting answers even though his friend is in pain.

"Ngh, the Man Eater Bug is able to automatically destroy one monster on the field as soon as its card is flipped face up." Yuki explained through the pain as she had one eye open whilst the other one was still shut tightly in pain as Tea gasped.

"Well, that's certainly not good." Tea uttered whilst Joey looked at her with a look of complete terror on his face.

"Guys, I really don't wanna go back to that Graveyard." Tristan admitted whilst crying a bit as he remembered how creepy the Graveyard was.

"Don't you worry, Tristan, none of us are goin' back!" Joey promised, wanting to reassure not only Tristan but Yuki and Tea as well. "We'll destroy that bug before he plays it." He continued to promise, confident that they could beat this hidden bug.

"No, Joey that won't work." Yuki disagreed immediately, still in pain and barely able to move because of the numbness caused by the backlash from attacking Electric Lizard.

"Huh?" Joey hummed in confusion, wondering why Yuki disagreed with his statement about defeating the Man Eater Bug.

"The moment any of us attempt an attack that card will activate." Yuki explained effectively shooting down any hopes of taking out the Man Eater Bug before the card is flipped.

"Graveyard here I come." Tristan said with a disheartened look on his face as he once again remembered what the Graveyard had been like.

"What are you sayin', Yu? That one of us is gonna end up worm food?" Joey asked wondering if he assumed correctly as to what yuki was saying.

"No, what I'm saying is that there's only one way out of this situation, and all of us are standing on it." Yuki revealed as she managed to look over her shoulder at their new face down card behind them despite her body being numb.

"Right! The trap card big Yuki laid down." Tristan said as him, Tea, and Joey also looked back at the card.

"Yeah, but I'm hesitant to use it. The card in question requires that a creature be sacrificed." Yuki reluctantly explained, if there wasn't so much at stake she wouldn't be so hesitant about using that card.

"You mean one of us?" Tea asked in fear as the red glowing eyes of a shadowy form popped up from underneath Yami Bakura's face down with a growl.

"Don't worry, Tea. I'll go." Tristan said, willingly offering himself up as the sacrifice for the trap card.

"No way, Tristan!" Tea protested since it was clear to her that Tristan had been in the Graveyard before she was summoned due to his nervousness about the Graveyard.

"Think about it. That Man Eater Bug's gonna take one of us out no matter what we do. At least this way, I'm taking it out, too. Ooh! Uhh. I guess you disagree." Tristan strained out with tears in his eyes as Joey had jabbed the butt of his sword into the brunette males gut, making the male faint from the pain.

"You just got back from the Graveyard. If anyone's going, it's me." Joey spoke to a still kind of fainted Tristan, looking towards the face down monster with a determined look.

"No Joey, wait! Don't do it!" Yuki called out trying to get Joey to stop so she can reason with him.

"It's too late." Tea said as Yuki's attempt to stop Joey had been ignored by said blonde.

"Aah!" Joey yelled as he charged at the face down card, coming to a stop as he stood ontop of it. "How tough could this bug be?" He asked as he raised his sword up as if to stab the card only to be confused as it glowed. "Aah! Unh!" Joey yelled as he was tossed in the air and now landed on the back of the now appeared Man Eater Bug. "Aah! Aah!" He yelled more as the bug started thrashing around, the sword held in it's mouth being the only way the blonde male stayed on despite the thrashing. "Big Yuki! Use the trap! Do it now!" Joey ordered Yami to do as the Man Eater Bug kept thrashing around and trying to throw him off as said female watched him in shock and worry. "Please! Uhh, uhh! I don't want my friends to get hurt. Uhh! Uhh! Ahh! Sacrifice me!" He begged and grunted as he just barely managed to hang on despite the thrashing, earning him a nod from Yami.

"I'm activating a trap, sacrificing my Flame Swordsman to do so." Yami explained as she looked at Yami Bakura, flipping over her face down trap. "The Horn of Heaven! Blasting its celestial tune directly at your Man Eater Bug, obliterating him from the field once and for all!" She declared as a yellow light began to envelope the Man Eater Bug, and then Joey as well.

"But Joey! He's still hanging on to that thing." Yuki said as she shakily stood up, even though her body was screaming at her to stay down.

"What's happening to him?" Tea asked as they were all staring despite the honestly blinding yellow light.

"He's disappearing!" Tristan exclaimed as he couldn't tear his eyes off of the form of his best friend enveloped in yellow light.

"Don't worry about me!" Joey managed to call out before him and the Man Eater Bug shattered as they were destroyed by the trap.

"Oh... oh!" Yuki and Tea whimpered as they looked at the spot that once held their friend.

"He's gone, just like that. My best buddy's gone." Tristan said as he looked away and shut his eyes sadly.

"Heh heh heh heh. Don't worry, you'll soon be joining him in the Graveyard. You can spend an eternity together." Yami Bakura stated causing Yami to growl yet again as she tried to figure out what to do.

Meanwhile down in the Graveyard Joey, still dressed as The Flame Swordsman, stood in the same area that Tristan had been. Feeling just as creeped out as his best buddy had been as he looked around at the gravestones around him. For a moment he thought he was alone as he talked to himself, only to yell in shock when he looked and saw an all too familiar card. The Reaper of Cards, and it was flying right at him with its scythe in hand, ready to harvest his soul! The fact that card was coming after him had Joey frozen in fear, unable to do anything but watch as the Reaper of Cards gets closer and closer to him. Meanwhile back at the Shadow Realm duel Yuki, Tea, and Tristan were still mourning the loss of their friend. Whilst their sadness about their friend and fear of the inevitable caused Yami bakura much joy and entertainment.

"I hope you don't harbor any illusions about rescuing your friend Joey from the Graveyard. You've already played Reborn the Monster, the only way to get him back." Yami Bakura explained as there are no other magic cards that can bring a monster back, and the possibility of drawing another Reborn the Monster is nonexistent. "And soon, The Reaper of Cards will claim his soul forever!" He announced as Yuki, Tea, and Tristan were utterly speechless and were honestly beginning to lose hope.

"Poor Joey. He sacrificed himself." Tea uttered with tears in her eyes as she already missed her friend so much.

Once again back down in the Graveyard, Joey had managed to snap himself out of his stupor as he turned and ran. Trying to keep as much distance between himself and The Reaper of Cards as he could possibly keep between them. So far it was working as he was a good few feet infront of the Duel Monster as he ran. Sadly though his luck ran out as he yelled at the Reaper, causing him to not look where he was going as he tripped on a rock. The moment he fell the Reaper quickly began to catch up on him as Joey yelled in fear whilst looking over his shoulder. At first he started out hopeful that maybe he could get brung back just like Tristan had been. But now with The Reaper of Cards slowly closing in on him, ready to snatch away his soul, he honestly wasn't all that hopeful.

"He can't be gone." Tea quietly sobbed with a tear falling as she shut her eyes, her single tear landing on her card below her as she soon began to glow.

"Huh?" Yuki hummed in confusion as she turned, the numbness having worn off, and saw her friend glowing. "Oh yeah! Here she's the Magician of Faith. Tea's tear activated the special effect of her favorite card." She explained since she knew Tristan probably didn't know that as Tea stared wide eyed as she glowed.

"That's right, and the effect of the Magician of Faith allows me to bring back one magic card from the discard pile and add it to my hand." Yami explained as a glittering aura surrounds Tea and then headed to Yami's hand, making a card appear in said hand as it disappeared. "And the card I choose: Reborn the Monster, which I play now!" She declared as she placed Reborn the Monster face up on the field, summoning Joey back just as The Reaper of Cards tried to slice him with its scythe.

"No, I don't wanna-." Joey started with a whimper as he covered his head in fear, not yet noticing that he was safe back on the dueling field. "Huh? What?" He asked softly whilst looking around in confusion, realizing he's no longer in the Graveyard.

"Joey!" Tea, Tristan, and Yuki all said happily as the approached their friend as he was sitting on the Reborn the Monster card.

"You're back! Better yet, you're ok!" Yuki said with a smile as she looked down at Joey as he was still confused.

"All right!" Joey exclaimed in happiness and relief as he looked over his shoulder at Yuki.

"You waist your time and your turns rescuing these foolish mortals." Yami Bakura said with a frown and a look of annoyance at what Yami did.

"My friends are never a waste of time. Make your move." Yami spoke with a cold look on her face as she has yet to break eye contact with Yami Bakura.

"Heh heh heh. Oh, I'll move, and you will lose. This is the play that will end the match, and win me your Millennium Puzzle." Yami Bakura said, clearly every confident in himself now that he's gotten over his annoyance. "First, I will play the Lady of Faith in attack mode. And then the card that will turn your friends against one another: The Change of Heart." He said as he put the card on the field as a purple haired girl wearing a robe appeared whilst playing as the albino showed off the other card.

"Change of Heart? That's Bakura's favorite card isn't it?" Yuki asked as she looked at the card, what would summoning that card mean for the real Bakura.

"And a very magical card it is! With this card I can turn you against your comrades. The very friends you sought to protect, you will now destroy." Yami Bakura said as the thought of that happening to Yuki practically made him giddy with sadistic joy.

"Over my dead body!" Yuki snapped, there was no way she'd willingly hurt any of her friends.

"You won't have a choice in the matter! The Change of Heart card allows me to control any opposing monster, and I choose you, little Yuki. Ha ha ha!" Yami Bakura spoke with a laugh as he could just imagine Yuki attacking her friends against her will.

"Leave the young one out of this." Yami ordered with a protective glint in her heterochromic eyes.

"Why should I? By simply destroying her I defeat you as well. You're here to guide and protect her? Then, protect her from this!" Yami Bakura exclaimed as he put the card in play as it glowed brightly.

"Aah!" Yuki groaned and shielded her eyes from the blinding light coming from the card.

"Yuki!" Tristan, Joey, and Tea yelled as they could barely see their friend through the blinding light.

"Uhh! Wha?" Yuki asked in confusion as she managed to see through the bright light as the real Bakura appeared dressed as the Change of Heart.

"It's Bakura!" Joey exclaimed as he looked at the albino male as the blinding light died down.

"The real Bakura!" Tea added happily but Bakura looked so depressed as he looked at all of them.

"Bakura! So I guess this means that your soul was trapped inside your favorite card, too." Yuki said feeling bad for Bakura as said male sighed and smiled smally.

"I want to help, but we must act quickly, Yuki." Bakura said as he flew over and took control of the Lady of Faith instead of control of Yuki. "I've taken over one of his cards instead of yours." He said as he was now wearing the Lady of Faith's clothing as he looked her.

"What?" Yuki asked in confusion as Yami Bakura shouted in outrage at having Bakura double-cross him.

"I'll control her while you attack me. You can win against the evil Bakura." Bakura said whilst holding out his arms to his sides, offering himself up to an attack.

"I can't do that to you Bakura! I-I'd basically be killing you, sending you to the Graveyard." Yuki uttered hesitant to hurt or even attack Bakura, not wanting to do something like that to him.

"I don't care. It's better than being enslaved by an evil spirit. Do it!" Bakura encouraged, having made up his mind about this and is ready for his fate.

"Be quiet!" Yami Bakura snapped harshly whilst glaring down at the real Bakura.

"I have a better idea." Yami said as the golden glowing Eye of Anubis appeared on her forehead as her Millenium Puzzle started pulsating.

"If the evil power of Bakura's Millennium Ring can pull souls from people, perhaps the power of my Millennium Puzzle can put them back!" Yami wondered aloud as Yami Bakura yelled as his soul was pulled from Bakura's bady and switched with the real Bakura's soul.

"All right! Our Bakura's back where he belongs." Joey cheered as the real Bakura was now in control of his body rather than controlling the Lady of Faith as said male looks around in confusion.

"But where's the evil dude?" Tristan asked as a confused Yami Bakura appeared where Bakura once was in Lady of Faith's clothes.

"Uhh! This can't be!" Yami Bakura yelled in outrage at the fact that he was now in control of Lady of Faith instead of Bakura's body.

"Listen closely, Yuki. Use the power of High Priestess of Prophecy. Send him to the Graveyard! Now!" Yami urged as now the only one going to the Graveyard would be an evil soul that deserves it.

"Got it!" Yuki affirmed with a nod as she held out her hand towards Yami Bakura as she attacked.

"Aah! Aah! Aah!" Yami Bakura yelled as the attack hit him and both him/Lady of Faith were destroyed and sent to the Graveyard. "Uhh! The Millennium Puzzle was almost mine!" He grumbled in irritation as the Reaper of cards appeared behind him. "Aah!" Yami Bakura yelled in either fear or shock as he turned around and came face to face with the Reaper behind him.

The fate of Yami Bakura was unknown to everyone but the Reaper of Cards. Meanwhile back in the real world the duel had ended the moment that the evil spirit was sent to the Graveyard. All souls were subsequently returned to their respective bodies and thankfully unharmed. The only two awake after the whole ordeal were Yuki and Bakura as they stood side by side slightly facing one another. At first neither of them said anything to one another, after all they were still recovering from the shock of what happened. After all one of them had been enslaved by an evil spirit and the other had found out that there maybe some ancient spirit sharing her body with her. It was all just so mysterious, confusing, and all so new to them to say the least.

"You ok, Bakura?" Yuki asked curiously as she looked up at Bakura in worry.

"I am now, thanks to you." Bakura reassured with a soft smile, grateful for the short girls concern.

"Hmm. Bakura, where'd your Millennium Ring come from?" Yuki questioned since she remembered that her Grandpa found it in Egypt.

"My father picked it up on one of his trips. He told me it's from Ancient Egypt. I think that's where they're all from." Bakura said as he remembered the story about how his father acquired the ring all too well. "He was shopping in s merchant bazaar when the Millennium Ring caught his eye. The man who sold the ring to my father said it had something to do with Duel Monsters. But that never made any sense to me since the card game is new and the ring is clearly ancient. When my father got back, he gave it to me. He said he felt I was destined to have it." He explained just as Tea, Tristan, and Joey finally woke up from being unconscious, but Yugi was still asleep.

"I just dreamt Bakura went totally mental." Tristan breathed out, assuming that what happened was just a dream and that nothing was real.

"Same here." Joey agreed, also thinking that everything that had happened had just been a dream. "Last time I snooze with dueling cards under my pillow." He said whilst scratching at his head, thinking that that was the cause of his dream.

"Sleep well, guys?" Bakura asked with a sweet closed eyed smile after walking over to Tristan, Tea, and Joey.

"Bakura!" Joey and Tristan yelled in fear as they hugged one another before quickly recovering. "Hands off!?You grabbed me! Huh?/Huh? Hey!/Hey!" They exclaimed in unison as they looked at one another and pushed themselves apart as the others laugh.

"I dreamt we were dressed as Duel Monsters, and there were two Yuki's." Tea said as Yuki got nervous, despite it being the truth it was better that they didn't know the truth, and before more could be said there was a female scream in the distance.

Wolfie: Real quick I would like to clear up some confusion you may have. See when Yuki transforms into Yami Yuki her and Yami share the same body just like him and Yugi do in the canon show. So even though Yami will still be his canon self, so he'll still be the same personality and gender wise. Meaning that his spirit form will be male, his voice when talking to Yuki will be male. But when he's sharing Yuki's body, whether her soul is in it or not, he'll be female just like her. Now once again please read, review, and I hope you have enjoyed the book so far.
