Chapter 29: Double Trouble Duel: Part 3

"I told you to take me to Mokuba, not on a tour." Seto hissed out as he was walking behind Kemo to make sure he doesn't pull any funny business. "It's endless." He grumbled as it felt like they had been walking for hours.

"These tunnels are honeycombed throughout the entire island. Without me to guide you, you could get lost down here for years." Kemo said with a smirk that made it seem like he was considering getting Seto lost down here.

"Don't get any ideas." Seto stated as he could already tell that Kemo was considering that.

"Listen, slim, I'm much bigger and much stronger than you are. You only got the jump on me cause you snuck up and took me by surprise." Kemo said only that was the exact opposite of what had happened. "What's to stop me from spinnin' around right now and knockin' your- uhh." He started to say only to be cut off by Seto grabbing his shoulder, turning him around, and taking a fist full of his jacket as he pulled him closer.

"Try it, and I'll drop you where you stand." Seto threatened, his glaring gaze locking with Kemo's sunglasses covered gaze.

"Well, when you put it that way, nothing would please me more than to reunite you with your brother Mokuba." Kemo said with fake sincerity, causing Seto to growl and bare his gritted teeth in annoyance.

Meanwhile Mokuba was in his cell, starting to have doubts about his brother and the likelihood of him coming to his rescue. At the orphanage it had been easy for his older brother to not let them be seperated. At the time Seto had been old enough to refuse being adopted by families, no matter how nice and loving they seemed to be. Or he would have the condition that his little brother had to be adopted with him. Which would scare away the families that wanted to adopt Seto, the families that wanted only one child. But then Pegasus comes along and his big brother was unable to stop him from capturing him. So Mokuba was worried that this obstacle keeping them separated was just too much for Seto to handle. He was also worried that something worse had happened, like Pegasus capturing his brother too. Back with Seto he was still being led down a seemingly endless hallway by Kemo.

"Ok, this is as far as we go." Kemo stated as he suddenly stopped walking, causing Seto to stop as well.

"Where's Mokuba?" Seto asked as he looked around skeptically, there was no way Mokuba was here.

"In Pegasus's grip, just like you'll soon be, Kaiba." Kemo said with a smirk on his face and a hand on his hip.

"Stop playing games." Seto hissed out only to have Kemo lift up his foot and step down on a tile, causing it to sink down as a loud buzzing sound began. "Ah! The alarm." He said as he looked towards the man infront of him accusingly.

"If you want to find your brother before reinforcements arrive, better hurry. Security will be here any moment." Kemo said as he half turned toward Seto with a smirk still on his ugly mug.

"Mokuba! Unh." Seto grunted as he shoved his way past Kemo and began running down the hall. "I've gotta get him out of here, away from Pegasus." He said more to himself than anyone else as he continued running down the hallway.

At that same time Croquet approached Pegasus in his dining room. The silver haired male had his eye closed and was enjoying a good glass of red wine as he was told information he already knows. Said information being that Seto Kaiba has been spotted in the tunnels the honey comb his island. The young CEO's arrival on his island was not a part of his original plan, but he intended to use this to his advantage and his amusement. As he stood from his chair Pegasus left his dining room, leaving behind a confused Croquet and an unfinished glass of wine. Back down in the dungeon Mokuba could hear his name being called by none other than his brother. Shakily standing up the shaggy haired Kaiba sibling was so happy that his brother had finally come for him. Mokuba being more than ready to get out of the tiny cell he had been put in and go back home. At that same time the labyrinth duel was still on going as Tea took it upon herself to remind Yami Yuki that it was her turn as Tristan told her to attack.

"Sadly no monster in my deck is powerful enough to attack their Guate Guardian. For now, I can only play these." Yami Yuki explained as she placed two cards face down next to her Magical Hats card.

"What a waste of a turn. You're frightened, for all your monsters are too weak to attack ours." Para said in amusement whilst also regarding Yami Yuki's two face down cards as a waste of a turn. "Gate Guardian, use your immense power. Attack Flame Swordsman. Eliminate him from the field." He ordered as the Gate Guardian began to charge up its attack.

"This is it, bud. We're going down in a big way." Joey said whilst looking at his defenseless swordsman as Yami Yuki gritted her teeth and let out a frustrated growl. "This is one lightning storm I don't think my swordsman's gonna weather. If ya got any bright ideas, now's the time." He said as he turned his attention to his heterochromic eyed dueling partner who sadly did not seem to have any bright ideas for him.

"Gate Guardian, Thunder Stroke attack!" Para shouted as the Gate Guardian let lose its fully charged up attack, it creating a bright blinding light as it drew closer to Flame Swordsman.

"Aah! Can't look!" Joey exclaimed as he shut his eyes and turned his head away from the blinding light as the attack seemed to hit his swordsman.

"Ha! Now you see! Our Gate Guardian conquers all!" Para exclaimed as he believed that the attack had destroyed the Flame Swordsman.

"Grr. Well not this turn it aint." Yami Yuki stated all of a sudden as the bright blinding light was still blocking the outcome of the attack.

"Huh?" Para hummed in confusion, not noticing what Yami Yuki was talking about just yet.

"That is, unless your guardian isn't affected by trap cards." Yami Yuki said with a smirk as she showed Para one of her face down cards, Mirror Force.

The card had made a transparent barrier between the Flame Swordsman and the attack before it shattered. Which then sent the attack right back at the Gate Guardian and probably would have had some sort of effect. That is if not for the fact that at the last second Para ordered the guardian to defend. Causing the middle piece of the guardian to let out a gust of wind, protecting it from the redirected blast. Causing the brothers ParaDox to laugh and brag about how their monster was still standing despite having its attack sent back at it. However instead of being pissed off at their bragging Yami Yuki was actually quite amused. She was amused because their guardian had deflected the attack towards their defenseless Monster Tamer. Now it was her turn to brag about how their defense had backfired on them and had taken 800 of Para's life points in the process.

Para: 900 Dox: 1,600 Joey: 1,600 Yuki: 800

"Lucky move!" Dox exclaimed, wanting to play it off as dumb luck rather than a miscalculation on their part.

"Hm." Yami Yuki and Joey both let out hums of content as they shared a look, happy with this small victory.

"Way to play, guys!" Tea praised as she once again totally hadn't been doubting their skills as duelists. "Keep it up and we'll be out of these musty old caves in no time." She said as she hoped that she was sounding encouraging when she actually sounded kinda bossy.

"Technically I think this is a man made tunnel, not a cave." Yugi corrected as Tea briefly gave him a look of annoyance at being corrected.

"You got it, Tea!" Joey exclaimed, wanting Tea to feel like her attempt at encouragement was well received.

Meanwhile, in a deeper section of the tunnels that honey comb the entire island, Seto was hiding from the goons that were searching for him. The goons soon met up with one another, having found no trace of the older of the Kaiba siblings. In the end two of the three were told to go stand guard at Mokuba's cell, the three going their separate ways after that. Leaving just in time for Seto to drop down from hiding on the ceiling of the underground corridor. The cobalt eyed male wasting no time as he begins to follow after the two goons that were sent to guard his brother's cell. Knowing fully well that they would be the best and only chance he has in order to find Mokuba as fast as possible. Meanwhile back at the duel the ParaDox brothers were still in the lead by only 100 life points compared to Yami Yuki and Joey.

"All right! Now it's my turn." Joey said as he was prepared to start his turn and possibly try to get closer to the end of the maze.

"Wait a second, Joey. Don't make a move just yet." Yami Yuki advised as she looked over at Joey, effectively stopping him from making a move.

"Huh?" Joey hummed in confusion, not understanding why Yami Yuki stopped him.

"Take a good look at the Gate Guardian. It was created via combining three different monsters, right?" Yami Yuki asked, wanting to clarify if Joey understood that this wasn't all just one monster.

"So?" Joey questioned, not quite catching on to the point of this conversation.

"So that might be the key to taking this thing down." Yami Yuki concluded with a smirk as it seemed like Joey caught on to what she was talking about.

"Right. Section by section." Joey said as he had indeed caught on to what Yami Yuki was talking about. "Ok, then. Flame Swordsman, use Salamandra's magic and attack the mid section!" He ordered as his swordsman let out a groan as the same fiery attack that destroyed the dungeon worm went flying towards the Gate Guardian. "Atta boy! Scorch 'em good!" Joey exclaimed only to hum in confusion as a wall of water suddenly sprung up infront of the Guardian, the attack dissipating as it hits the water.

"You fool! Attack one section and the others will defend it. You wasted your turn." Dox said as Yami Yuki and Joey looked at the wall of water with dumbfounded looks on their faces. "Now my guardian will lay waste to you! Tidal Surge attack!" He ordered as the bottom section began to unleash a geyser of water from its maw, the water rushing through the maze with the intent of washing away every monster in its path.

"Oh, my." Bakura uttered in shock, realizing what this attack was for as Tristan and Tea looked at him in confusion as they hummed in question.

"What's oh, my?" Yugi asked, confused about what was going on and why Bakura seemed shocked.

"Dox is using the water element section of his Gate Guardian to flush out the entire field. Everything in its path will be attacked. The mystic properties of the Magical Hats will protect the magician, but I'm afraid Joey's swordsman won't be as lucky." Bakura explained as the Tidal Stroke attack left the two remaining hats submerged but unharmed as it washes away the Flame Swordsman and destroyed him.

"We have taken the lead." Dox said with a grin after he and his brother had celebrated that victory with some flips and a pose.

"For now." Joey stated in frustration as 300 of his life points were washed away alongside his Flame Swordsman.

Para: 900 Dox: 1,600 Joey: 1,300 Yuki: 800

"Your attack may have dampened the field, but not our spirits." Yami Yuki said as the whole field was now covered in a thin layer of water. "For my turn, I'll lay this card face down and... I'll call upon my Summoned Skull to finish the job that Joey's Flame Swordsman started." She said as she laid a card face down and played her monster card as the Summoned Skull appeared with a growl.

"Oh, you must be joking!" Para exclaimed as him and his brother were smirking out of amusement.

"That swordsman started nothing before he left choking." Dox stated before him and his brother both let out a laugh.

"Heh. Well that's not quite entirely true. If it weren't for him, then the stage wouldn't be set for my Summoned Skull's attack!" Yami Yuki revealed with a smirk as Para and Dox let out exclamations of shock, realizing what she meant.

"The water! Yuki's gonna use it as a conductor for an electrical attack." Tristan said as he too caught on to what Yami Yuki had meant.

"Summoned Skull, Lightning Strike!" Yami Yuki exclaimed as her monster attacked, its body crackling with electricity as it does so.

"The water's actually guiding the attack." Tea commented as the electricity coming from the Summoned Skull's attack traveled along the water through the twists and turns of the maze.

"Payback time." Joey stated with a happy smirk as the electricity continues to bounce along the water, getting closer and closer to the Gate Guardian.

"Not yet. You may have found a watery trail leading back to our guardian, but you have yet to breach his defenses, defenses that we activate now!" Dox declared but much to the brothers confusion the Gate Guardian simply stood there and did nothing.

"Huh?" Para hummed in confusion when their guardian still did nothing but stand there.

"Uh, what's wrong?" Dox asked, not understanding why the Gate Guardian wasn't defending itself.

"What's wrong is that when you flooded the entire field with your Tidal Surge, you attacked my Magical Hats in the process. And hidden beneath one of them was a trap card!" Yami Yuki revealed as she touched one of her face down cards but had yet to flip it over.

"What?" Dox asked in disbelief at what Yami Yuki was saying.

"A trap that has immobilized your guardian and leaves him powerless to defend against attacks." Yami Yuki explained as she held up her face down card, the Spellbinding Circle.

"No! My Gate Guardian!" Dox shouted in dismay at this sudden revelation.

"Ensnared by the Spellbinding Circle and 700 points weaker to boot." Yami Yuki said as the Spellbinding Circle appeared around the midsection of the Gate Guardian. "Leaving Suijin, the water elemental of your guardian, quite vulnerable to my Summoned Skulls electrical attack." She explained as the electrical attack finally hit its target, destroying it. "One section down, two more to go." Yami Yuki added as now the Gate Guardian will be much weaker than it used to be.

"Way to go, Yu! We'll have this ugly lug chopped down to size in no time!" Joey said with a laugh, praising his friend in the process as Dox lost 700 life points.

Para: 900 Dox: 900 Joey: 1,300 Yuki: 800

On the side lines Bakura, Tea, Tristan, and Yugi were jumping around a bit as they cheered about this small victory. Joey was the first of them to notice what was happening to the water as it began to disappear. Obviously a byproduct of Suijin's recent destruction at the hands of Yami Yuki's Summoned Skull. This caused Joey to comment further on the fact that the water is disappearing, clearly satisfied about the current situation. Unlike her dueling partner Yami Yuki was silent as she watched Para and Dox, they were slightly shaken up but still had their heads in the game. A telltale sign of a seasoned duelist is that even when it seems like they're losing they keep their game face on and keep trying. In a normal duel Yami Yuki would respect their cunning and perseverance, but this wasn't a normal duel. It hadn't been normal from the start and it certainly wasn't going to start being normal now.

"Hmm. Our guardian is only damaged, not beaten. Remove Trap!" Para exclaimed as he played a magic card depicting an open bear trap with a puff of pink smoke coming from it. This card caused the Spellbinding Circle to shatter as it is removed from the Gate Guardian. "Ha! Even without Suijin, our guardian is still unbeatable." He stated as the two remaining pieces of the Gate Guardian were now back to full strength.

"We'll see about that. Hmm. It's my turn now." Joey uttered, Yami Yuki turning her head to watch as he placed his hand on his deck, preparing to draw a new card.

'Their Gate Guardian may be unbeatable when it comes to monsters, but not by our team work.' Yami Yuki thought with a smirk as she continued to watch Joey whom glanced at her for a moment.

"All right, bozo brothers! Try this on for size. The Red Eyes Black Dragon!" Joey said as he drew a card and played it, his dragon soon appearing with a screech as it landed next to Summoned Skull.

"And now, with my Polymerization card, I'll combine Joey's Red Eyes with the Summoned Skull!" Yami Yuki said as Summoned SKull and Red Eyes Black Dragon soon began to fuse together to make a new monster.

"Ugh! A combo!" Para and Dox exclaimed in unison as they watched the two monsters combine.

"You two now face..." Yami Yuki trailed off, obviously for dramatic effect as the combination monster was now complete.

"The supreme Black Skull Dragon." Joey finished for her as the Black Skull Dragon let out a screeched roar as it appeared with 3,200 attack points and 2,500 defense points. "Your guy ain't so unbeatable now, huh?" He asked as now they had a monster with enough attack power to go up against the remaining pieces of the Gate Guardian.

"Hmm, right. Let's see that labyrinth of yours stop him." Yami Yuki said because with the number of stars this monster has it'll be at the end in no time.

"Ha ha ha ha ha!" Para and Dox both began to laugh in response to what Yami Yuki had said.

"Huh?/Hmm?" Yami Yuki and Joey both hummed in question in response to their laughing.

"What are you two clowns laughing about?" Joey asked, wanting answers about why they were laughing right now.

"You fools! You think your new creature will win the match for you?" Dox asked, a scowl on his face as he glanced at the two teenagers via his peripheral vision.

"You're wrong." Para stated with a smirk as Dox glanced at him via his peripheral vision as well. "There is little that your creature can do, for there is a maze rule that you must not have known." He explained, much to Joey's shock and Yami Yuki's annoyance.

"A rule? Oh, no!" Joey exclaimed with a backwards flinch of shock.

"Oh, yes, and the rule states that the labyrinth is a no-flying zone." Dox explained gleefully with a smirk on his face.

"Aw, nuts, and my Red Eyes Black Dragon can only move by flight. These rules stink." Joey stated now that he realized that their new creature would be unable to move through the maze.

"Relax, I've got a plan B." Yami Yuki reassured with a smile, having gotten over her annoyance towards the no-flying rule fairly quickly.

"Ahh. I was hoping you'd say that." Joey said with a smile as he hunched over a bit, visibly relaxed at the reassurance he was given. "Ya hear that? We got a back up plan." He practically sung with a grin and a hand on his hip as he pointed a finger at the ParaDox brothers.

"Ha ha ha ha!" Para and Dox both began to laugh all of a sudden rather than being nervous about Joey's declaration of having a back up plan.

"Uh, Yuki, why don't they look worried?" Joey asked, feeling nervous at the fact that the ParaDox brothers were laughing like mad men. "So, uh, what do you think the bald brothers are up to, Yuki?" He asked once the maniacal laughter had finally died down.

"You mock us? Ha." Dox said as he drew a new card from his deck, laughing sinisterly upon seeing what card it is. "But with this next card, I will trash your team. Ha ha ha ha." He stated with a laugh as neither Yami Yuki or Joey were phased by this. "Riryoku!" Dox exclaimed as he played a magic card depicting a man in armor getting what appears to be a soul sucked out of him.

"Damn. Riryoku?" Yami Yuki asked, immediately recognizing the name of the card.

"It's all Greek to me, pal." Joey stated as he obviously didn't know what the big deal was about that card.

"Riryoku, Joey. It's a rare and mighty magic card." Yami Yuki explained as she looked at Joey whom let out a small oh of understanding.

"Too true. Riryoku's legendary power allows me to take half of my opponent's life points and add them to my own creature's attack points!" Dox explained with a grin as Joey now realized the gravity of the situation.

"No fair! You might as well be stealing!" Joey exclaimed as both him and Yami Yuki lost half of their remaining life points.

"Stay strong, Joey!" Yami Yuki said since they needed to stay strong and not back down.

Para: 900 Dox: 900 Joey: 650 Yuki: 400

"Stay strong?" Dox asked with a mocking tone to his voice.

"The only one on this field who will be staying strong is our Gate Guardian, for he is the one we are powering up with your life points." Para revealed as the two halves of the Gate Guardian's attack powers rose to 3,000 and 3,050.

"That's like cutting their chances to win in half." Tristan stated as this power boost would make things even harder.

"Luckily for you, using the Riryoku card ends our turn, but when our next move is at hand, we will use our Gate Guardian's newfound power to win this duel once and for all. Ha ha." Dox explained as he laughed, thinking that no matter what Joey and Yami Yuki do they will still be eaten.

"He will turn your monsters into smears on the labyrinth walls!" Para exclaimed, thinking the same thing as his brother as Joey lets out a groan.

"Don't worry about those screwballs, Joey. I still have a plan B." Yami Yuki stated reassuringly yet again as she looked towards Joey. "First, I'll draw a card." She said as she drew a new card from her deck, looking at it as she lets out a hum. "Next, my Dark Magician will leave the safety provided by the Magical Hats and return to the maze." Yami Yuki said and in response to that a golden light burst forth from one of the remaining hats as the Dark Magician jumped out. "Then I'll have him move forward six spaces, and out of your labyrinth!" She declared as her magician began to walk forward six spaces.

"You fool! Why are you moving your Dark Magician out of the maze when you know our Gate Guardian is right there just waiting to attack?" Para asked, not understanding why Yami Yuki would make such a move as her magician was now one space away from the exit of the maze.

"Does it really matter to you as to why I'm doing this? You seem so certain that your Guardian will win regardless of what I do with my magician." Yami Yuki said with narrowed eyes and a scowl maring her face as she stared at Para.

"Uh, yo, Yu, not for nothin', but you want to fill me in here?" Joey asked hesitantly as the Dark Magician came to a stop just outside of the exit of the maze.

"Everything is fine, Joey. Trust me." Yami Yuki stated as her magician and the ParaDox brothers Guardian had a stare down.

"Ha ha ha ha." Para and Dox both began to laugh with smirks as they believed that Yami Yuki had just sealed her own fate.

"Finally, I'll play this card. Monster Reborn!" Yami Yuki exclaimed as she placed the magic card on the field.

'No matter which of her monsters she revives with that card, it will do her no good.' Para thought with a smirk, too deep in thought to notice if Yami Yuki said anything or did anything else. "Your plan will fail! Gate Guardian, attack the Dark Magician!" He ordered, not even waiting to see what monster the heterochromic eyed girl revived with her magic card as the Gate Guardian attacked.

"You launched an attack without waiting to see which monster I brought back from the Graveyard pile. Which means you didn't know that you just wasted your attack." Yami Yuki explained to the smirking ParaDox brothers with her arms crossed. "Suijin, Tidal Shield!" She exclaimed as a shield of water burst forth from below, blocking the attack before it hit the Dark Magician.

"What?" Para and Dox both asked simultaneously out of shock at the appearance of the familiar Tidal Shield protecting the Dark Magician.

"Recognize the monster, boys? You should, seeing as how it's yours." Yami Yuki stated as the attack dissipated, leaving behind the shield of water as Suijin appeared with the Dark Magician standing atop it.

"She used her Monster Reborn card to bring back our Suijin!" Para exclaimed upon seeing the final piece of the Gate Guardian protecting Yami Yuki's magician.

"Only now he's not ours. He's been brought back on their side." Dox added as the Tidal Shield soon disappeared, leaving behind an unharmed Dark Magician.

"Yeah, Yuki! That's the play of the game!" Joey praised as he pumped a fist into the air.

On the sidelines Tristan, Yugi, Tea, and Bakura were all relieved that that plan be of Yami Yuki's had worked. However their friends weren't out of the woods yet as the albino of the group wondered if they could follow through after that narrow escape of defeat. None of them knew what Yami Yuki had planned next, so they were all worried how things would play out from now on. With both her and Joey only having a chunk of life points left and with the fact that if one of them loses then they both lose, it makes this very dicey. None of them had doubts per say but all of them, including Yugi, were worried that Yami Yuki and Joey were dueling themselves into a corner. Especially since the only monster close enough to attack is the Dark Magician, and he doesn't have enough fire power to take down the remaining Gate Guardian pieces. So unless Yami Yuki has a really good part two to her plan B, things weren't looking so good.

"You have been lucky, you little bitch!" Para exclaimed in complete and utter annoyance.

"But we promise your luck's about to run out." Dox stated as his rhyming game seemed to be slipping a bit.

"Whatever floats your boat, chuckles. In the meantime, it's Joey's turn." Yami Yuki stated with a smirk as she glanced at Joey.

"Right." Joey stated, trying to sound as confident as possible. 'Ok. Yuki started our comeback. Now I gotta keep it going.' He thought as he looked down at the cards in his hand to see what could help with their comeback in this duel.

'Reviving Suijin bought us some time, but not a whole lot of time.' Yami Yuki thought with an internal sigh as she glanced at Joey before looking back towards the dueling field. 'Now it's going to be up to Joey to continue to keep us in this duel. And I know that he won't let us down.' She thought as she turned her head, watching said male draw a new card from his deck and let out a hum as he looked at it with a serious expression.

'Copycat?' Joey mentally questioned as he looked at the monster in colorful magician-like clothing holding up a mirror to hide its face. 'Copies one card your opponent's thrown on the field.' He thought as he let out another hummed in question, wondering how this card could be of use. "Oh. Huh? Heh heh. Aw, man, I just got a killer idea." Joey muttered mostly to himself, a mischievous cheshire cat-like smirk stretched across his face as he looked towards his opponents via his peripheral vision.

"Huh?" Para hummed in confusion as him and his brother noticed the mischievous cheshire cat-like smirk that now stretched across Joey's face.

"Here it goes. I'll use Copycat and play it as Riryoku!" Joey revealed as he played his Copycat card, which had zero attack and 100 defense.

"Ahh!" Para and Dox both yelled in shock at this revelation.

"Hmm?" Yami Yuki hummed curiously at this bold move choice as she looked at Joey again.

"That's right. Say adios to half of your life points... But don't worry, they're going to a good cause-." Joey said, grinning as the ParaDox brothers lost half of their life points.

Para: 450 Dox: 450 Joey: 650 Yuki: 400

"My Black Skull Dragon!" Joey exclaimed, Black Skull Dragon letting out a growled roar as its attack points rose to 4,000.

"Awesome move, Joey." Yami Yuki praised, even though she had a gut a feeling that Joey's move would've been awesome regardless of what he did.

"Yeah." Joey uttered as he blushed smally at the praise he was getting.

"Why power up your dragon? He is still forbidden to fly in the maze and therefore cannot move. If you were smart, you would have used it on that treacherous water elemental because it's him I'm attacking. Thunderstroke, attack!" Dox exclaimed as the Gate Guardian's lower half let loose an attack.

"Suijin, raise your Tidal Shield to defend yourself!" Yami Yuki ordered as Suijin let out a geyser of water from its mouth, the attack and water colliding head on as they both dissipate soon after.

"To be honest, we knew you would defend." Para stated with an insane, wide eyed grin.

"Indeed. Now hit him again!" Dox ordered as the Gate Guardian attacked again, the Dark Magician jumping off of Suijin and out of the way as the attack hit and destroyed its target.

"Ugh." Joey groaned, Suijin had been the only thing buying them time.

"What happened?" Tea asked, not understanding how the ParaDox brothers were able to defeat Suijin.

"Yeah, what happened?" Yugi asked as he also didn't understand how they were able to destroy Suijin.

"Suijin is only allowed to use his Tidal defense ability once per turn. So the ParaDox brothers split their attack into two waves." Bakura explained as a way to hopefully clear up the confusion as to how Suijin was defeated.

"Yuki, did you really think that one elemental could stand a chance against two? That miscalculation will cost you the duel." Para said, viewing this as a minor set back as he continues to believe that the victors will be Dox and him.

"Ha. I'm afraid you're sadly mistake, Para. Not only did I know that you could destroy Suijin, but I was counting on it that you would." Yami Yuki admitted with a smirk on her face and mischievous glint in her eyes.

"What do you mean?" Para questioned, breaking out in a nervous sweat as Yami Yuki held up a magic card.

"Twas the perfect distraction to keep your attention off of my Dark Magician. After all, if I'm going to be able to use this Monster Replace card on Black Skull Dragon, then someone needed to be strategically placed to switch with him." Yami Yuki explained, the smirk never leaving her face as she does so.

"No! She can't!" Para yelled in disbelief at what Yami Yuki had just explained to them.

"She played us for fools, brother. Knowing that her dragon could not move within our labyrinth, she had her Dark Magician do it for him." Dox explained as this move could only mean one thing.

"Now... Monster Replace! Exchange my Dark Magician for my Black Skull Dragon!" Yami Yuki exclaimed, playing the card as her monsters were surrounded by purple-ish red and cyan blue sparkles respectively as they switched places.

"Aah!" Para and Dox both shouted at the bright light that blinded them as Black Skull Dragon was now standing where the Dark Magician had been.

"In the beginning, I thought the only way to defeat your Gate Guardian was piece by piece. But now with our powered up dragon, we can finish off your hulking beast with one final, ferocious assault." Yami Yuki explained as now both brothers had broken out into a cold, nervous sweat. "Black Skull Dragon, Molton Fireball attack!" She exclaimed as an onslaught of molton flaming spheres burst forth from the dragon's mouth, exploding upon impact as they hit the Gate Guardian, destroying it.

"Aah!" Para and Dox both screamed and growled in unison, shielding their eyes from the bright light of the attack as they lost the rest of their life points.

Para: 0 Dox: 0 Joey: 650 Yuki: 400

"Ha ha ha. Take that." Joey stated with a grin, enjoying their anguish at being defeated.

"The duel, alongside the spoils of this battle, go to us." Yami Yuki said as she smirked, enjoying this victory as well.

Behind then Tristan, Tea, and Bakura were jumping around celebrating the fact that they won. Meanwhile Yugi was waving around his Yuki and Joey banner that he had pulled out from somewhere again. Letting out whoops and woohoos in response to the fact that his big sister, and her friend, had defeated the twin creeps. Said twins had begrudgingly handed over their lost star chips to Joey and Yami Yuki. Whom both immediately put the amount they needed to have ten star chips into their dueling gloves. Feeling satisfied as this now meant they could go to the castle and duel their way to being able to duel Pegasus. Though their celebrations were short lived as Para and Dox laughed simultaneously. Having recovered from their defeat as they reminded Yami Yuki and the others that they weren't home free just yet. For they still need to choose the correct door that allows them to leave the underground labyrinth of tunnels.

Elsewhere, in the dungeon part of the tunnels, Seto dropped down from the ceiling once again. Taking one of the goons guarding a doorway to a wide hallway with only one cell on the right side, knocking him out as the man grunts. This one had been facing the stairs that led down to this section, causing the one watching from within the section to pull a gun from within his suit jacket. Doing so as he goes to see what had caused the other male to disappear from his post, only to get a blow to the back of his head. Which knocked him unconscious, his body falling to the ground as Seto took his chance and ran into the corridor. Running up to the only cell that was there, stopping infront of it and grasping one of the bars as he looked in side. Calling out his little brother's name to get his attention as he saw him sitting on the floor looking down. Shackles attached to short chains keeping the younger male from getting too close to the cell door.

"Huh? Uh, Seto. Seto, it's you." Mokuba said as he sat up a bit, his voice and movements weakened a bit from lack of water and food since he was put down here.

"Yeah. It's me." Seto said, a genuine smile on his face as he looked at his little brother.

"Ah, Seto. I always knew that you would come and rescue me. Always." Mokuba said with a smile of his own as he sat up more, clutching at his locket fondly in the process.

"Little brother." Seto uttered, not feeling like any other words would fit this situation.

"So what now? I bet you have some high-tech plan to get me out of- uhh, unh. Oh!" Mokuba said as he stood and walked towards Seto, only to grunt and yelp in pain and stumble back a bit as the chains and shackles pulled painfully at his ankles.

"Stay still, kiddo." Seto advised gently, knowing that his little brother was a little over excited to see him.

"Ok. Whatever you say, big brother." Mokuba said with a smile as he stood still like he was told to.

"Just give me one second to pick this lock." Seto said as he knelt down infront of the small cell door and started to pick the lock.

"Well, well. The brothers Kaiba, reunited at last." Pegasus's voice suddenly said from the right of Seto.

"Huh?" Seto hummed in questioned, stopping mid lock picking to look towards the source of the voice.

"Bravo, Kaiba. Bravo." Pegasus said whilst slow clapping, stopping in the middle of the corridor a few feet away from Seto. "I knew nothing would stop you from getting here." He said as he stopped slow clapping in favor of putting his left hand in the pocket of his suit pants.

"Pegasus." Seto growled out as his eyes narrowed dangerously at the sight of the silver haired male.

Back with Yami Yuki and the other's they now stood before Para and Dox whom stood in between the two doors. Joey, who seemed to have forgotten about what was supposed to happen after the duel, asked what they meant by another test. Also wondering why the fact that him and Yami Yuki beating them in a duel wasn't enough to have the twins let them leave. Said female stood silent with a poker face as Pare talked about how their defeat in a duel was only enough to win them star chips. Making it quite clear in the process that it was not enough to win them access to the labyrinth exit. Reminding Joey and Yami Yuki in a taunting tone as well that they still must choose one of the two doors that were present in the room. At the same time as the twins were yammering away about all of this she fished out two coins and a marker from her backpack. Discreetly drawing the symbols of the doors on the coins before hiding them in her pocket once dry as she puts the marker away.

"Yeah, I remember." Yami Yuki stated in a slightly exasperated tone. "Now then, which of you two cuckoo for cocoa puffs brothers are guarding the door that leads out of here?" She asked with a small smirk and her hands shoved into his jacket pockets in a nonchalant kind of way.

"If you cherish your lives, you will choose my way." Para said, tilting his head towards his door whilst looking at it out of his peripheral vision.

"Select my side or else you'll pay." Dox said as he also tilted his head towards his door.

"Not this game again. Can't you two just act normal and give us a straight answer for once?" Tea asked, her posture was stiff as a board as annoyance radiated off of her in waves.

"I am giving you a straight answer." Para and Dox both stated at the same time with identical smirks on their faces.

"The answer is and has always been that we can't trust these jackasses." Yami Yuki stated matter of factly as her poker face returned.

"Ok, guys. Any bright ideas?" Tristan asked as he looked to the other members of their little group for help.

"I say we kick the crap outta them till they tell us what door it is!" Yugi suggested as he tried to lunge at one of the ParaDox brothers but Yami Yuki held him back by the little top strap of the backpack he's wearing.

"You will do no such thing." Yami Yuki stated in a big sister tone of voice that left no room for argument as Yugi gave up with a pout.

"Uh, sure. Don't I always?" Joey asked, deciding to take charge of this situation.

"Mn-mmm." Bakura, Tea, and Tristan all let out a negative hum as they shook their heads no.

"Aw. Zero respect." Joey grumbled to Yami Yuki with his arms crossed, leaning down a bit closer to her height as she hummed in thought with her eyes closed.

"Since no one else has any ideas, we'll decide with these." Yami Yuki stated as she held up the coins she had drawn the symbols on, only showing the brothers ParaDox one side of each coin though.

"Uhh." The others all let out uncertain and confused hums at the appearance of the two coins.

"Ha ha ha ha." Para and Dox however simply laughed at the appearance of the coins.

"Ok. Heads or tails?" Dox asked as he had yet to notice the symbols drawn on the coins.

"Neither. See whilst you were yammering I marked each coin to represent one of the doors." Yami Yuki said as she now held out both clenched fists for Para and Dox to see. "The coin that I have clenched within my fist will be the door that I've chosen." She explained as she had yet to reveal the coin that she now spoke of.

At that same time Seto and Pegasus stood infront of Mokuba's cell face to face. The only thing between them being five foot of space and a singular silver briefcase. For a moment neither of them said anything as they stood there looking at one another. Pegasus doing so with a smirk on his face as Seto stared him down with a death glare. Mokuba couldn't help but look at the two older males that stood before him as well. Sure he knew that his brother would most likely be pissed off and would want to make the CEO of Industrial Illusion's pay for kidnapping him. But he thought it would've waited till after they were far away from this island in the safety of their own home. The two brothers working together to get the company and everything else back under control before the plans of revenge are even brought to fruition.
