Despite the fact she shouldn't have allowed her charge to take this trip, Dehya was quite confident that Dunyarzad hadn't lied about her conditions being stable enough for this journey to Port Ormos.

Then again, the mercenary was sure that half of Sumeru was there for the major event that was soon to unfold: Lesser Lord Kusanali was finally returning to Sumeru after disappearing a few months ago. There was a lot of speculation prior to this day, with many just thinking that it was a trick from Alhaitham to just ditch the post randomly while everyone was busy.

Even someone as detached from the Akademyia like Dehya knew that the man, despite his experience and knowledge, was ill-suited to handle the social connotation and the peer pressure of the job. So, she couldn't blame him for trying to dodge the responsibility. However, she would hold him in emnity for using such a silly plan to distract everyone. And for being there to see it happen rather than running again.

The Merchants were having a field day in selling all sort of glasses meant to expand the field of vision as they had been told that the God of Wisdom was bound to arrive by the 'sky'. It sounded so silly, but Dehya had to admit that the merchants were all for it as she had seen the short pinkette known as Dori having a blast inflating the prices for her telescopes to the tourists planning to see it happen.

Still, the most dreadful thing was that Dunyarzad had pressed to arrive two hours earlier than the expected arrival of the deity. And while Dehya was a resilient woman, that long waiting time could piss off anyone nowadays. Time went on and on... until Dehya blinked as her perceptive ears twitched at the sound of something 'buzzing' in the distance.

Her eyes narrowed to where this tiny sound was coming from, and her sudden tensing up gained Dunyarzad's full attention as she had her own telescope aimed at where Dehya was looking at.

"I think I see-"

"Something!" Her contractor announced in delight, and her voice caused a bit of a frenzy as everyone deployed their own telescopes and binoculars.

Dehya didn't need any of that to see what everyone else was- a small speck approaching from the sky... at a reasonably fast pace. Not towards them, but around the docking area. The flying contraption looked absolutely unusual compared to what Dehya was accustomed to, her mind fluttering on how it could just fly and how it was supposed to land.

As it got closer, the mercenary got some clues on both questions: the former was answered by the strange rotating item set in front of the contraption, while the latter was seemingly solved by what appeared to be some lower bits that acted as floating devices.

The entire procedure to arrive and then land on the water took roughly from fifteen to twenty minutes. The first part was clumsy, but the second part was done rapidly as the sight of the Archon shifting out of the flying thing to set anchor by the side of the port was enough to raise some cheers but also confirm what the Acting Grand Sage had told them all.

Here she was, the God of Wisdom herself. As petite as Dunyarzad had told her she would be, but instead of a soft and childish individual, everyone was blasted by the sight of someone that provided a flat and somewhat unnerving look around.

"Where's the Acting Grand Sage?"

Alhaitham was immediately there to bow, excited to finally be given the chance to be freed from his 'curse'.

"Alhaitham, you did a good job. By the end of this week, your request for graceful resignation shall be completed," Kusanali remarked, nodding and then smiling. "However, before that, I have been told that you are quite well-spoken and experienced in handling internal affairs if those keep you away from interactions."

Tensing up, the Acting Grand Sage slowly conceded with a nod. "That's one way to address it."

"I am glad to hear that. I wish to have someone to help me produce a reform to the government of Sumeru. I don't need to explain that the current circumstances have shown that corruption can easily destroy the stability of the country, and also dampen the opportunity for good policies to grow and be fostered."

"If I may ask, what is the extent of such reform?"

"Solidly extensive," Kusanali admitted, her tone leaving no chance to protest. "The Akademyia shall not be changed much, but I intend to create an independent body for the administration of Sumeru. Too many times people have confused mere intelligence for wisdom, but this will change. And I will make sure this change will actually bring prosperity to Sumeru."

The people were chatting actively at hearing this. The strength behind this statement was quite impressive, but Dehya was unsure if this will extend to the Eremites or just any dwellers of the desert. As the celebration went on, the mercenary's gaze was stolen by the one that had been accompanying Lord Kusanali.

A young man that hardly looked beyond average but what Dehya's eyes didn't tell, her nose exclaimed as she was stunned by the amount of lingering feminine scents on his body. None of which were Lord Kusanali, thank Celestia, and they all mustered a more mature 'tense' to the smell.

This guy was a womanizer. And he was introduced as not only the current 'caretaker' of Lord Kusanali, but also someone that knew Greater Lord Rukkhadevata. Which was a big claim and one that further left Dehya perplexed on how to handle an interaction with this guy-

Especially when Lady Dunyarzad was soon brought to chat with Lord Kusanali and... the man introduced himself.

"My name is John, nice to meet ya."

They shook hand, and Dehya felt a bit stiff through the entire event. No one noticed it but... but she did realized one thing through that interaction.

Dehya had a daddy kink, and she didn't like it. Not at all!
