Rogue was in the house of the jock, no one was at home. Unknown to her all the family was at the hospital, the young man was in a coma. She ran her hand trough the trophies and looked at the pictures that he had in his room. The memories started to kick in as she looked at herself at the mirror. Bobby´s memories told her that this was totally creepy and that he should call someone, but Rogue´s memories where stronger.
"This is not me, I´m Ana Marie, this is wrong, why I have other memories? What was I even running from?" She heard a growl behind her, she paled as she spotted Wolverine "From me bub" he launched himself at her, roaring and showing his claws. Rogue managed to get away from Wolverine. She ran downstairs her heart was beating at one hundred miles per hour. She hesitated about where to go, the graveyard was close, but she saw a man similar to the one inside the house "Wait, we just want to help you" she took some steps backwards and she heard a puff behind her "Ja, where here to help" Kurt tried to sound kind and extended his hand "We know zhat you are going trough" Rogue saw honesty in his eyes, but the man with the claws was still there. She was about to run to the graveyard when Kitty phased trough the floor. "Easy there, like, let us explain" Charles was watching from afar. He didn't need to read her mind to know she was scared. But what she was scared of, that was other story. He saw... "Logan?" He was confused there was no way that Logan scared the girl, sure he was intimidating but he was not the man in her memories. Rogue was confused and seen that her escape route was blocked she turned the other way and ran as fast as she could; the path she took was headed to the swamp, where a fight was being hosted.
Mystique smirked "she is heading to the swamp, it appears that wolverine scared her, the x-men look so confused, be ready, I hope that the visions tell you where to go" she chuckled darkly. Irene sighted, of course she would do something like that, scare her little Rogue. She wanted to scold her but her cheek was already red and sore from the slap that she received earlier, so she kept her mouth shut. She focused and managed to see where it was. Her stomach dropped when she saw the place. There they were; the bat and the monster; both fighting like there was no tomorrow.
Bruce:
Batman spit some of the blood that was in his mouth. The damn monster appeared to have no pain. He punched him in every part of the body and he didn't even flinch. Batman was beginning to get tired and he knew that if he didn't end this now, he was crocodile food. He remembered something that Talia and Ra´s told him when he trained with them.
"Even the strongest armor has a braking point" he looked at Croc, he had a thick skin, but even crocodiles needed flexibility.
The arms and the stomach! He launched a punch in the middle of his stomach making him groan in pain. Batman allowed himself to smile, time to finish to this.
He kicked him in the stomach and attacked him in any way possible. Croc roared in pain and anger and turned at Crane "You´re not going to help?!" -"sorry but I have better things to do, have fun Croc, there is no way I´m letting that freak take me to jail"-"You son of a…"
Crane turned and ran the other way. Croc glared at him before returning his gaze to the batman, but he had disappeared.
"I´ve got your cent Batman" Batman jumped behind him and punched him in the back of the neck. "And I got yours" Croc grabbed him by the neck again and slammed him against the ground. With his other hand he tried to remove his mask. Bruce panicked and pulled out a baterang and dug it deep in Croc´s leg. Croc roared in pain, he throw him against the old house. Batman groaned felling that one of his ribs had snapped. But Croc wasn´t doing any better, he was walking with difficulty and groaned at every step, he was tired and so was Bruce. When Croc was considering and escape, he saw something he wasn't expecting. A girl dressed in gothic attire was running near the house "That´s the same freak that I nearly eat the other day". Oh he smelled fear, Croc smirked. It was time to scare the brat once more. He waited when she was closer and grabbed her with his good arm.
Rogue:
Rogue was suddenly jerked upwards and she yelped in pain. "Shut up brat" Rogue swathe monster that nearly eat her the other day and screamed. She thought for a moment if she should touch him and tried to knock him out to. But seeing the monster up close told her that she really didn´t want his memories in her brain. Croc paid her no mind and carried her like she was a bag. Croc yelled at Batman who now was standing and glaring at him "Let´s do something freak, you let me go and I don't kill the brat, deal?" Batman looked at Rogue then back at croc and groaned "Fine, but leave the girl alone" Croc smirked and throw her his way "See you soon bat" he jumped into the swap disappearing. Batman glared at the place where Croc was before turning his attention to girl in his arms, brown hair and white stripes, odd. "You´re all right?" Rogue touched her ribs and whimpered.
"Ah think ah have a broken rib" Batman pulled out a pill. Rogue looked at him and raised an eyebrow "Pain killers?"-"Got any better idea?" Rogue sighted and swallowed the pill. "It will help" He got up and extended his hand, she grabbed it and stared at him for a while.
"Are you one of them?"-"Who are you talking about?" –"You know, the guys with silly bright costumes" Batman blinked and turned to see the X-men getting closer, she heard Rogue gasp and move behind him. "Please don´t let them see me, one of them tried to kill me" Bruce looked at her then back at the X-men. Something e}was wrong, the girl was scared of them, if they truly wanted her to see that they were the good guys, ii was better letting her go. "Leave, I will distract them"-"Thank you" Batman headed straight to his team and looked at them "Let her go, she´s scared beyond believe, something scared her to dead" Wolverine grimaced and growled out annoyed "Mystique, her cent was all over the kid" Batman stepped out of the shadows revealing a body full of scratches and blood in his chest, arm and cheek. Kitty and Jean gasped, Scott, Kurt and Charles stared at him like he had grown a second head and Wolverine simply frowned at him. "What the hell happened to you bub" Batman grimaced "I was looking for Rogue but I found Crane and a monster" Kitty looked down; she still had some nightmares of the day she encountered the Scarecrow. "A monster you say?" Charles raised an eyebrow at the description.
"He was like a crocodile and called himself Killer Croc, he has kite the powerful jaw and claws as you can see" Bruce said pointing to his bleeding shoulder. Jean frowned at him, he said like it wasn't the big deal, had he had worst? She worried secretly about his friend, she could see the darkness that surrounded him and it was growing. Alarmingly fast.
At the blackbird:
Scott was sitting behind the Professor; he had to admit that he was kind of sad about that they couldn't help Rogue. He was sitting right next to Bruce who for some weird reason hadn't taken his cowl off, his eyes widened when he thought of something "Batman do you think he was a mutant? You know the Crocodile man, I mean what if we could track him down with Cerebro"-"I´m not sure, but I got something that might help" he said pulling out a piece of one Crocs claws. "I will have to run some test, but I think I might be able to figure if he is mutant" he smirked at Scott "Not bad Summers, sadly I don't have the tools here to do it, I will have to go to Gotham to do that, I needed to bring the rest of my stuff anyways, Professor it would be fine if I go tomorrow to Gotham?" Charles nodded "We can let you borrow the Blackbird Bruce, but be back for Scholl tough, they are still waiting for their new student"-"Thanks Professor, but I think I´ll have to go as Bruce Wayne, you will be surprised how much people are interested in the prince of Gotham as the like to put it" Kitty from behind them giggled "The prince of Gotham?" Bruce smiled "That´s what the media calls me, don't know where they got the idea but have to admit I kind of like the title" Kitty thought of it for a moment "Oh, could I please, please, please go with you, I mean I always wanted to visit a big city like Gotham or Metropolis, I swear I will be a good girl" she kept rambling for a solid, Bruce watched her with an amused grin and Scott couldn't help but to smile "but if you don't me to go it´s cool.."-"Kitty" Bruce grabbed her by the shoulders "Stop rambling, it would be my pleasure to take you to Gotham but that´s not up to me" he moved his in the direction of the professor, who had heard all of this and was looking at them "Can I please go professor, I have done my homework, everything is good with my classes and I even promise do a danger room thingy, if you let me go" she give them a puppy dog pout. Logan snorted "I believe you in almost everything except the danger room part" Ororo smiled at her "I think is a good idea to let her go, after all, it might be a good experience going to Gotham, right?" Charles turned to Kitty "All right, you can go, but remember no use of powers; we don't want to bring attention to us or Bruce" Kurt who had been chatting with Jean most of the ride looked at them "Why can't I go?"-"Because you´re grounded for going late to school" Scott chimed in. Kurt laughed "Oh Ja, you´re right" Kitty paid no mind to Kurt because she was busy cheering and jumping up and down of excitement.
Rogue:
Rogue returned home and slammed the door behind her; she cleaned the sweat from her forehead and looked from Irene. "Irene?" she paused for a moment and looked around "Mom?" Irene was sitting on the couch looking down "Mom, what´s wrong?" Irene stood up and hugged her tightly "Rogue, I heard what happened, the police came here to look for you, don´t worry my dear, I told them that it was impossible that you could have hurt the young man" Rogue snorted "Ah really doubt that they believed you" Irene looked down looking ashamed "A friend convinced them" Rogue raised an eyebrow "she is an old friend of mine Rogue, she has a house to help people like you" Rogue grabbed her by the shoulder "Ah don't need to go to a freak school I´m normal" Irene sighted and turned around "is not a freak school, is to protect you from the people that attacked you tonight" Rogue took a step back "How did you know?" –"They do these, search for people special like us" Mystique said entering the house. Rogue jumped and faced the blue woman "Who the hell are you"-"My name is mystique and I come to take you to a safe place, were I can teach how to use your unique abilities" Rogue looked at her then back at her mother figure "Is this ok with you mom?" Irene nodded sadly "Is the best for you my dear" Rogue hugged her and looked at Mystique "When do we leave?" Mystique smirked "Now, and I hope if you don't mind if I bring another mutant with me" Rogue raised an eyebrow at the term mutant but shrugged it off "Sure, just don't make me seat next to him" Mystique lead her to a big truck and when Rogue entered she couldn't help but to yelp
There it was Croc smirking (if you could even call it that) he looked pretty beat up by his fight with the Batman.
"Hello again girl" Rogue shivered but Mystique stepped between them and glared at Croc so he decided to shut up. Rogue sat as far away from him as possible wich only made Croc smirk wider. Mystique waved at Irene an started the truck now this was going to be fun to explain to Magneto.

I´m so sorry about not updating, but you know school and Comic con. By the way, who´s exited for Gotham, because I am. Oh and to Nomad-117, I freaking love you right now. You just gave the best idea for the episode with Angel.
Next episode Kitty goes to Gotham. What could possibly go wrong? Croc joins the Brotherhood, jeje poor Rogue and Toad.
