A/N
Um... sorry I took so long with this one. Between real life matters and putting this story together, I've been preoccupied. Mostly with ironing out the fine details of this story later down the line. Now, onto the reviews.

RegulusCestus- We'll get to that part when we cross that bridge. Monsterfilia has yet to take place after all. I'm glad you're enjoying this and I hope I can continue to keep it that way.

ANNOY1NG1- That's very nice of you to say and is appreciated!

daffafirdausy2405- We call those happy accidents. At least you have it now. Thanks for the love!

Dullerlyric- Glad you're enjoying what you read. I believe in there no harm in adding another Bell and Lefiya story with a dash of Filvis. You'll have to be patient as she'll be later down the line. You have a great day too!

Meetra 0 Surik- Thanks for the kind words! I liked the idea of Bell and Lefiya working together so I'm happy it was well received. You'll have to wait and see how Bell develops without his phobia of minotaurs.

Temsen- Tsunderes are a give and take but the reward is very worth it. Thank you and hopefully you continue to enjoy the story.

dzimgo- Thank you, my dude!

Ventanus- The legend himself is going to be a regular. Gonna take a moment and say that I recently finished some of your stories and they were quite spectacular. Hopefully I get there someday. Anyway, I'm glad you also enjoyed Bell and Lefiya working together. I feel Lefiya keeping her intense energy whether she's being mean or nice is a testament to the energy conservation law. She's also fun to write that way. I greatly appreciate the love and support and I hope you find some enjoyment in this chapter as well. Best of luck in your works as well!

Grifith Moses- Well, this one is rather big for them, but I'm sure them seeing his next update after his skill gets action should sent them to the hospital from the shock.

Zasun- Thank you and I'll continue to build up the both of them as well as Filvis when she finally shows up.

juanseorna- I will keep going as long as I can which is hopefully long enough to finish this.

free556655- Who knows? Maybe Lefiya could get some tricks of her own?

NinjaFang1331- No one's done this specific pairing, so I've taken matters into my own hands. I hope you'll stick around with me on this journey.

Roland Tepes- You'll have to wait and see what Bell gets to raise his magic ability.

Hyde115- Thanks for the kind words and I'll keep pumping these chapters out when I can.

aikawa kaguya- I'll do my best to make sure you enjoy them.

That should wrap them up for now. Onto the story

The next thing Bell saw when he woke up was a plain, white ceiling. He wondered where he was before a sting of pain invaded his senses. He audibly groaned while trying to sit up on the bed he was laying on. Bell's vision focused as he looked around.

"Where… am I?"

"Good, you're awake."

A voice spoke to him when they noticed he was awake. Bell turned to his left and saw Lefiya sitting on a chair beside his bed with a book in her hands.

"Miss Lefiya? Where are we?" Bell looked around and only saw a few familiar sights. Most of them were things he owned. Lefiya set her book aside and caught Bell up with everything he missed after losing consciousness.

"We're in your room. I brought you here after you passed out."

"Oh…"

Everything that happened last night and the following morning was now rushing back to him. The bar, the insults and how he stayed in the Dungeon into the following morning.

"So, are you feeling alright? Do you think you'll be ok?"

She looked at him with great concern and the boy assessed his current condition.

"Pretty sore, but I think I'll be fine." he repressed the urge to grimace and simply bit his lip.

"Good. In that case," she took a deep breath and Bell felt his eardrums nearly explode from her screaming at him. "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!"

Bell recoiled backwards while the elf began her lecture.

"Almost no gear and just a spare dagger, are you insane?! The Dungeon is even more dangerous at night when the monsters are free to roam on the floors! Why would you go down on your own?!" her eyes were wide and burning with rage which made him feel very, very small.

The rabbit boy hung his head low in shame. She was absolutely correct and Bell felt awful now that he was catching up with everything.

"I'm… sorry. That was a stupid thing to do."

The elf saw the boy was mentally beating himself up and sighed.

"As long as you know that and don't try something like it again. Then again, I can't blame you this time around," Lefiya gained a sad expression on her face before turning back towards Bell, "I owe you an apology."

"What for?" Bell felt that came from out of nowhere. As far as he was concerned, she hadn't done anything that needed to be apologized for.

"Last night, I didn't help you. Again. You stood up for me when we had only just met and I couldn't do the same for you."

"You stand up for me? Why do that?"

"What do you mean 'why?' How can I call myself an elf if I leave a debt unpaid?"

"What debt? There was no debt? I only stepped in because it was the right thing to do," Bell explained a-matter-of-factly. To him, helping someone in need was natural. He wouldn't just leave them, especially if they did something kind for him prior.

While that sounded very admirable to Lefiya, the elf was not as concerned about that, "Even so, you helped me in a time of need, so I have to do the same. It wouldn't be fair or honorable."

When she said that, Bell remembered the time before they arrived at the manor for the first time. Lefiya was the one who helped him first by showing him the way there.

"If we're talking about repaying favors, then you were the one who helped me first. You helped show me how to get to Twilight Manor, so if that's the case, wouldn't we be even?"

The elf took that into consideration and realized the rabbit boy had a point.

"I-I guess you're right…"

"Actually, since you stopped the minotaur from killing me, I owe you."

"But Bell, I would never have been able to do that if you didn't distract it."

"Damn!"

The boy cursed to himself. Back to square one, and he was running out of ideas to help make Lefiya feel better.

To his surprise, he found the elf giggling to herself.

"S-Sorry. It's just a little funny how serious you are about helping me."

"I-I… Uh, it's n-nothing!"

"You're a good person, so… thank you."

Bell felt his cheeks heat up from her words and the smile on her face only helped make things worse for him.

"Y-Yeah… and I'm sorry I made you worry for me."

Her eyes sprung open when he said that and Lefiya realized what she had been doing.

"W-Where did you get that idea from?!" she snapped back harshly at him. Bell was startled by her sudden change of tone. She had been so nice earlier and that same elf had disappeared without a trace.

"H-Huh?!"

"I was just making sure someone didn't go off and do something idiotic! Don't make things up! Anyway, I can see you'll be fine, so be sure not to try anything like that again, understand?!"

She glared at him and Bell was feeling the intimidation. So much so that he didn't notice the faint blush on Lefiya's cheeks from her embarrassment. The boy was too busy stuttering.

"I-I-I…" he stumbled on his words from how fast everything was going.

"Do. You. Understand?" her menacing look stared down at him and Bell simply nodded in fear.

When he did, Lefiya returned to normal, "Good. Would you like me to get Loki for you?"

"Oh, y-yes please. I'd like to explain things to her myself."

Lefiya nodded with a smile, "Alright. Feel better." She waved him goodbye and closed the door.

Bell breathed a sigh of relief once he was alone.

"Why does she keep changing her attitude so much?" he wondered about that to himself. One second, she's the sweetest girl in the world and another, she'd turn into a monster more terrifying than that thing his Grandfather tried to cook for dinner when he was five.

A few minutes later, Loki came in with Finn to see how the boy was doing.

"We're comin' in!"

Bell looked by the door and welcomed them inside, "Hi, Goddess. Captain."

The prum smiled and checked up on him, "Are you feeling ok?"

"Just sore." He weakly moved his body while grimacing with each movement.

Loki then stood next to his bed with a small knife in her hand.

"So, ya wanna have yer status updated? May as well have something good come outta this."

Bell shrugged his shoulders and nodded. He showed her his back and Loki updated his status like normal. Though, she was in for quite the surprise with this update.

"WHAT?!"

"Loki?" Finn asked her with great concern. A freak out of this level felt odd since Bell was still a rookie.

"How is this possible?! This… this shouldn't be possible!"

Once Loki got a small grip on herself, she motioned for Finn to have a look with her, with Bell's permission. On his back, they found the most incredible thing they've seen.

"Bell… you have skills!"

His eyes popped open and he nearly sent her flying off the bed by trying to sit up, "I what?!"

Loki read through the two that were now on his Falna. She was shocked by how powerful each one was.

"One lets him grow at an incredible pace and the other is probably the reason why he's able to learn and master things so quickly! How the hell did he get two of them?!" she all but screamed this in her head as getting one skill was rare enough. However, one could only do so after leveling up, so Bell gaining two as a Level 1 was more than a little overwhelming.

"Loki, is this true?" Finn asked, not believing what he was seeing.

She just nodded at him.

Bell, however, was growing more nervous at not getting any explanation from them.

"G-Guys? Is everything ok?"

"Okay, calm down, Loki! Get a grip!" she mentally chastised herself for losing her composure and worrying the rabbit. Loki shook her head a bit before finishing the update.

After completing it, she copied it onto a piece of paper and gave it to Bell.

"Here."

The boy awkwardly took it as the normally cheerful Loki was replaced by a far more serious one. Her carefree attitude had all but vanished once she saw what was on his back.

Bell looked at the paper in his hands and began to see what had them so surprised.

"A skill! Goddess, is this true?! I really have a skill now?!"

Loki scratched the back of her head while confirming what he saw, "Yup. That's the real deal."

"YES!" he held the sheet above his head with a beaming face which Loki and Finn giggled about. However, Bell noticed a faded line beneath his new skill. "What about this line under it? Do I have two?"

A few moments of silence passed before Loki decided to come clean.

She put her hands on his shoulder and looked him dead in the eyes, "Bell, listen to me. I'm going to have to keep some things about this secret from even you. I ain't doin' this to be mean. This is for yer own safety, got it?"

The rabbit boy nodded. Having information kept from him regarding his own status felt a little unfair, but he knew the two enough that if they had to do it for his safety, he could trust their judgement.

"Okay."

"Sorry, kid. I hate to do this to ya, but there's no tellin' how some people could take advantage of you if this got out."

"Indeed," Finn nodded with her words of wisdom. "This will be very important for you when you eventually level up, but you should refrain from telling other people about your skills and abilities. That's top secret information about you."

"I understand, Sir."

Not wanting to leave him empty-handed, Loki decided to give him a little hint about that skill.

"I'll tell ya this much about it. It's something that'll help you get stronger by doing what you always do. I doubt knowin' that much would hurt ya. You've got a fiery passion in ya, so down let it burn out no matter what."

"Right!"

"Now, as for yer other one, that skill is probably the manifestation of your natural ability to learn and copy certain things you see. The status just turned it into a skill for you."

"I think I get it. So, that's a good thing?"

"You kiddin'?! That's a great thing!" she threw her arms around his neck and nuzzled his cheek. "My rabbit has one of the best skills I've ever seen! Oh, you'll turn into one of the best adventurers ever! I can feel it!"

Whether it was the close proximity or her high praise, no one could tell but one or both were the reason the boy was currently blushing.

"Y-You really think so?"

"'Course I do! All my kiddies are special in their own way! These skills are part of what make you special!"

Finn was amused from watching Bell struggle out of Loki's grasp.

"Hahaha! Don't choke him, Loki. Still, congratulations, Bell. I'm very happy for you."

While the prum was smiling, Bell gave him one of his own.

"Thank you, Sir!"

"Now, get some rest. I'll have Riveria check you later to see if you're ready to go back to the Dungeon."

Bell nodded and thanked Loki before the two left. Now alone, he stared at the status sheet in his hands and gleefully awaited his chance to dive back into the Dungeon.

Once they were out, Loki and Finn went to the prum's office to discuss things further. Upon entering, Loki closed the door behind her and hopped onto his desk.

"So, are you going to tell me about him, Loki?"

"Hm… I think it should be safe to let you know about it. I wasn't lying about the first skill. It really is a manifestation of his ability to learn and master new things near instantly."

"And that second one? It had you pretty freaked out."

"Yeah, that. I've never seen anything like it. The thing accelerates his growth based on the kid's feelin's. Not only that, but the effect gets stronger along with 'em."

Finn's eyes widened at this new information, "A skill like that is no doubt a very powerful one!"

"That ain't the end of it. It even grants immunity to divine charms."

"What?!"

This was the most ridiculous skill he's ever heard about. Rapid growth and an additional protection? It's no wonder Loki wanted to keep this as secret as possible.

"The kid even grew sixty points before this skill. No tellin' how much he'll change now that it's here. Ya see why we can't have this leakin' out? "

"I do. What of the others?" he pondered about telling Riveria and Gareth. The three were a set together, so they usually tried to stay on the same page for most things.

"We're gonna have to tell them eventually. For now, let's not speak of this."

Both agreed to keep their lips sealed regarding this topic. Things were going to get interesting in the coming days.

Like Finn told him, Riviera did one last examination to see if Bell was still injured anywhere. One potion later, and the boy was fully restored and ready to take on the world. He waltzed through the halls thinking about his new skills. They may be entirely passive, but they were still his and that was good enough for him.

He was so deep in his mind he almost didn't notice someone walking towards him. Luckily, he was able to stop himself and Lefiya, who was there, had enough time to move out of the way.

"Bell?"

"Oh, uh, good afternoon, Miss Lefiya."

Something felt off to her. As she recalled, the boy was quite down in the dumps last she saw him. Now, the boy was practically glowing.

"I wonder what happened? It had to have been very good if he's this pleased," she thought about what could have happened to him but decided to let it go. "Well, at least he's in a better mood. He had me worried for a sec- wait, what? No, I wasn't worried! I was just looking out for a Familia member! Yeah, that's it!"

Once Lefiya got ahold of herself, she invited the boy over to a table in the library to sit and talk.

"So, Bell, you're fully healed now?"

"Yup!" he was smiling brightly and every part of his body language showed how excited he was. "Miss Riveria said I should get a small examination tomorrow but after that, I can go back into the Dungeon!"

"You're excited to jump back in considering what happened recently."

"Ah," the memories of the bar and what happened after finally came back to him. He was so engrossed with his status update that he completely forgot about it.

The elf noticed his shift in mood and thought maybe she had hit a sour spot.

"I'm sorry. That was uncalled for."

Bell shook his head in disagreement, "No, you're right. I should stop making reckless decisions. I need to be more careful"

"Hmph. As long as you're aware," she huffed.

Bell sighed and brought a hand to his head.

"I really need to get a grip on myself. Good thing I have you looking out for me," he smiled her way and she responded in the most natural way.

"S-Stop making it sound like I'm worried about you!"

Natural for her anyway.

"Sorry, Ma'am!" he stood straight up from her stern gaze.

Lefiya shook her head before a small smile crept on her face, "Look, if you're ever looking for help, you can come to any of us. There's plenty of people you can go to if you feel lost."

"Ahaha, I noticed. There are a lot of nice people I can talk to. Although, there are some that aren't like that," Bell recalled a few people that gave off the impression that they didn't care for him much, mostly because he was the weakest in the Familia.

"And that's why you shouldn't go to them," she clapped her hands together and smiled when she said that. Had Bell not been ready, he felt he would've melted from how pretty she looked when she smiled like that. He was also unsure why he started feeling a pounding in his chest.

"Th-Thanks again! I-I-I'll see you later!" he waved goodbye before dashing away. Bell felt something would burst had he stayed there any longer.

Lefiya laughed awkwardly to herself at Bell's quick escape.

"Perhaps I was a bit hard on him?" she thought that to herself before making her way down to the main hall. There, she found the amazon twins and Ais.

"Hey, Lefiya!" Tiona waved for the elf to come join them.

Lefiya made her way down the stairs and their group was complete.

"Now that we're together, let's go visit the boys at Lord Goibnu's so we can have our gear checked out!"

Tiona was in a good mood as always. Now that their expedition was over, repairs were needed and what they encountered had left a major dent in their equipment.

"O-Of course! Miss Ais, you need your sword looked at, right?"

The blonde nodded, "Mhm. I'll ask for a loaner until Desperate is ready again."

"I gotta ask for a new Urga too! Mine's nothing but a puddle ever since what happened on Floor 50."

"I'll be busy cashing the rest of our drop items. You wanna come, Lefiya?"

"Sure, I can help you. I need to pay a visit to a magic shop nearby anyway."

Tiona grinned now that their agenda was set, "Then let's not waste any time!"

The four of them then went off to do their business. Of course, being the Loki Familia, they were received about as well as they had expected.

"You need another Urga?!"

"We just made you one not that long ago! Do you even know how long that took?! That was a masterpiece that used up a boatload of adamantite!"

"What happened to it?!"

The smiths were quite furious with Tiona. She just stood in the forge with a smile while they unloaded their rage onto her.

"You see, it sorta melted," she put on a cute face for them, but that would do little to help with their grief.

"""NOOOOO!"""

Ais had a similar talk with the God Goibnu himself. The old looking god only wore pants and was shirtless. Probably because of how hot it gets inside with the forges blazing. He took Ais' sword from its sheath to inspect it.

The God grunted after only a few moments, "You did a real number on this thing. Just what did you find down there?"

"We ran into strange monsters that spit acid," Ais answered. Her face was expressionless as she waited for his report on the damage.

"Unbreakable blades are exactly like the name suggests. However, they can still be chipped and lose their edge," he put the sword back into its sheath before grabbing another from the wall behind him. It was another long and light style that Ais preferred. "This should take maybe three days, so you can use this until it's ready."

Ais took out the sword she would borrow and tried it out.

"It's no unbreakable blade, but it should fit you for the time being. You may want to take some time to get used to it, though."

"I understand. Thank you," she bowed and took her leave.

When she was outside with everyone else, she saw Tiona was still being barked at by the other smiths.

The amazon still had her smile and winked at them, "Thanks again! Now, be sure to be quick! I need that Urga!"

"Easy for you to say!"

She and Ais then got together with Lefiya and Tione.

"Hey! Did you guys do ok?"

Tione smirked, "Better than you at least. They might hate us even more now."

"Did everything go well for you, Miss Ais?" Lefiya asked.

"I have this new sword until mine is finished being repaired," she showed the other girls the new sheath on her hip. They marveled at it because, while the quality wasn't as good, the blade did look very nice to the eyes.

As they walked down the streets, they saw the sun still shining brightly in the sky. Tione wondered what they should do now.

"We've still got a lot of sun to work with. Is there anything you girls want to do?"

Ais raised her hand, "I-,"

"We can go get Jagamarukun with you," Tiona cut her off since she knew where this was going to go. "Lefiya, don't you just have that magic shop to visit today?"

"Y-Yes, I do."

"Well, why don't you go get that out of the way while we keep Ais busy?"

"Oh, I don't want to keep you waiting. You girls go on ahead and I'll catch up," Lefiya insisted. Inside, she wanted to spend time with them and Ais especially, but there was no telling how long she'd need. Tiona's short attention span was also a factor that needed to be considered, so she decided it would be better for her to go alone.

"Gotcha! If you take too long, we'll meet you back at the Manor!" Tiona waved goodbye along with Ais and Tione. Lefiya did the same before moving along.

Now on her own, she had time to reflect more on recent events. The most recent were Tione's haggling skills which made her have a fearful respect for the amazon. Now, she had one short trip to the Witch's Secret House to see how her staff was doing among other things.

Meanwhile, Bell was on his way back home after doing some shopping with Loki, from her insistence. The Goddess brought Bell there to replenish the gear that had broken during his previous incident in the Dungeon. Thankfully, getting the same class of gear the Guild provides was an easy task and Bell wasn't looking for much just yet. Though, certain thoughts were plaguing his mind on their journey home.

"Goddess, when do you think I should upgrade the gear I already have?" Bell asked her. In truth, he was just a tad disappointed they didn't get something better. Though, Bell was aware enough that he couldn't afford most of them just yet.

"One day in the future, ya can. For now, let's focus on making sure yer stats are up to par. A good adventurer isn't just a sturdy set of armor or a sharp sword," she tried to lay the facts on him but not lower his spirits.

"Maybe, but I can't help but feel like I could be doing more," the boy grumbled. Bell wished he wasn't such a big burden to those around him.

"Come on, kid. Don't be so hard on yourself. You've been at this for just about a month."

She hoped she could talk sense into him, but it clearly wasn't too effective. As cool as his skills were, he'd need more than that to achieve the goals he's set for himself.

"Listen, my Ais took a whole year to get to Level 2 when she first started off. She's still got the record for fastest level up in history, so don't feel so down. You'll get yer moment to shine. When you do, you gotta make sure you blind even us gods," she smiled brightly for him while Bell returned one of his own.

"You're right. Still, I need to give it my all if I want to be a hero and if I want to not be a burden to her," he clenched his fist to his chest while looking at the sunset in the sky.

"Hm. I gotcha. A hero and-," she stopped and zoned in on the last part he mentioned. "Her?" she mentally questioned. There was a girl involved?

That had gotten Loki smirking even more smugly before she turned her attention back to Bell. When he felt her gaze, he flinched back a bit when he saw her face.

"G-Goddess?"

"You said 'her?' So, there's a girl involved?" she teased.

Bell realized his mistake and his face took on a similar color to his eyes.

"U-Uh…" he stammered, trying to find some excuse. Unfortunately for him, only a certain orange-haired beauty was on his mind when a girl was involved and Loki was going to find out who.

"It better not be my Ais, but I still gotta know who it is," she thought that and grew more giddy by the second. "Hey, come on. Yer blushin' up a storm so this girl's pretty important."

"I-I don't… she isn't-" he kept tripping on his words before Loki began forcing him back into a corner.

"Oh, I see! You got a crush on her! Hehehe! Spill! Who is it?"

Bell's face grew redder and redder before he thought of a way to make a cunning escape.

"Sorry, Goddess! I-uh… have to feed my cat! I'll meet you back home!"

"Ah, okay," she said and turned for a second before detecting the lie in his words. "Wait, you don't have a-," she couldn't continue as she would be talking to the wind if she did. The rabbit boy was already long gone by the time she turned back around. "Phooey. Well, he can't hide forever. I'll find out who this mystery crush of his is if my name isn't Loki."

While she vowed to uncover the girl in the rabbit's heart, now that he was reequipped, Bell would begin his journey to grow into an adventurer worthy of standing next to her.

"This is something I need to work for. I won't be a burden to anyone or to her any more."

A/N
That ends this chapter. Now that Bell has the skill, his next status update should show Loki and Finn just how special he is. Also, I'll put Bell's status out for everyone to see next chapter.

Well, I hope you enjoyed this one. Not as long as the last one, but the last one was a special case that probably won't happen that often. I kind of hope not for my editor's sake. Thanks for reading, everyone!
