Olive started crying. "Help...us...please..." A fourth arm tore itself from his body. His voice sounded off, like many different voices stacked on top of each other. "I didn't want this to happen...This wasn't supposed to happen...We were supposed to destroy it, not empower it..."
Olly rejoined them, slowly inching closer to him. "Olive, calm down. I know what dark magic can do to a person. Calming down will help slow the process. Black magic feeds off of negative emotions and energy."
Olive's arms tore into small sections, being held together by a substance similar to the black liquid still coming from his chest. "We just wanted to help..."
"I don't think you were ready. Either that, or the Chaos Heart got too powerful; meaning you were meant to do this sooner." Olly gently placed a hand on Olive's cheek. "Either way, I'll help you."
"You've never been corrupted by dark magic, right?" Mineta asked.
Olly went silent for a minute. "Fold of Life...is dark magic. The power to control life is not a thing to be messed with. You should have seen what that power had done to me. I had lost all control of myself. I even tried to eat a Toad in revenge! With it, I tossed two of my most loyal soldiers to their deaths, and I tried to kill my sister, thinking she was replaceable. Replaceable! You can't replace somebody special to you and expect it to make you feel better!"
Olive coughed out more black, making Olly face back to him. "What...is this stuff...?"
Olly poked it with his pointed hand, only to get electrocuted and pull his hand back. He waved his hand to make the pain die down.
"It might be the Chaos Heart's power? It turned Dimentio's blood black, correct?"
"My tears, blood, spit, everything...I think my insides may be black at this point..." He rubbed his head. "Ahh...my head is killing me..." He stumbled in Izuku's grasp.
Olive moved away from Olly. "Stay away from me...I don't feel very good..."
Olly flinched when his body tore in half at the waist, also being held by the black tube-shaped section that held his arms together. It tore his neck, the small sections of metal matching his arms. His head twirled in a small circle when it fell limp. Olive now towered above them, the sky and floor distorting into black and purple mist.
Izuku noticed he also had four legs.
It lifted its head, face covered in a deep black mist with white eyes and mouth with fangs. "It is done..." Its voice was even further distorted, to the point you could no longer hear Olive's voice over the rest of them. It went to its hands and crawled to Izuku. "You...Izuku Midoriya...Yesss...We have all of his memories...You will do nicely..."
Izuku stood in front of Dimentio and Olly, arm off to the side to further block them. "What did you do to Olive?"
It placed a hand on its chest and sealed the hole with tempered glass. "We will make this brief...Would you please give us your soul...? You would be joining a higher power...A superior power..."
"Wha-No! Why would anyone want to do that?"
"Izuku," Hakugure began, "I don't think we're in Japan anymore."
"We will have...to battle!" Dimento said, pleased. "I may not be well enough to, but I know who is..." He dug through his poncho. "It is...me!" He held up the puppet of him. "To battle you...would be a treat! You have destroyed me enough...and now my friend Olive too? You will fall here!"
He tossed the puppet into the air and it landed, full-sized, between Izuku and the Chaos Heart-possesed Olive.
"You expect this to do anything against us...?" It cupped all four hands around the glass on its chest. "Oh well...Say farewell to your little friend..."
The glass turned dark and a beam shot from it, completely obliterating the puppet to the point of not even ash being left behind. I fired just like Olive's, starting with a small quick beam.
Dimentio fell silent.
"Oh yeah?" Ayoyama said, stepping forwards. "You think you're so impressive with your fancy laser? What do you think of mine?!"
He fired his Quirk at the Chaos Heart-Olive, coming into contact with its smirking face. When the smoke cleared, it was completely unscratched.
"You think you can do anything against us...? Pathetic fools..." It raised one arm and slammed it down.
Ayoyama would have gotten crushed, if Olly hadn't used Fold of Life to pull him back. Olly was checking if Ayoyama was alright when Olivia flew over to it.
"I won't stand for this! Give us back Olive!"
"Olivia, no!" Izuku tried.
Olivia summoned her Magic Circle. "If Quirks won't do anything against you, then how about a full-on strike?!"
Izuku never thought he would see her hammer form again after the battle with Dimentio, but here she was. He had forgotten how cute it was. He quickly scribbled a quick drawing of it onto his page about Olivia and her Quirk.
It stopped her attempt with a single hand, not even straining to hold her back. "Feeble mortals..."
"What?! But not even Olly could-"
It dug its clawed fingers into the front of her hammer, making her scream. "We told you, you cannot hope to win...All will join our darkness...All will be devoured..."
It tossed her crumpled body off to the side. She folded back to herself upon impact with the floor. Blood came from her head, and Izuku couldn't see if she was breathing.
Before he could hand Dimentio to Bakugo so he could check on her, Olly whizzed past him. "Livi? Olivia?! Are you okay?!" He gently shook her. "Olivia?" Izuku didn't like how he had calmed down. "...Olivia...?" He slumped over her, sobbing into his hands. "Sister! I'm so sorry! I shouldn't have let this happen! I should have been a better brother from the start!"
Dimentio shifted in Izuku's grasp. "Oh...Oh no...It did not..."
"See what happens when you fight against us...? You get killed...And we will gladly reap her soul when this is all over...We will take all of your souls..."
"Izuku, look out!"
Izuku looked up at the towering machine to see it went after him first. He dropped Dimentio and rolled away, scraping his knees. Izuku crawled over to the king.
"Is she..."
"She did it to protect us all...But she didn't deserve this...How could I let this happen...Why?!"
Izuku noticed his eyes glew. It wasn't their usual purple though-they were yellow. Olly had told Izuku before his eyes were yellow, but he hadn't believed him until now. The tears turned yellow as well, and Olly rose off the ground, folding into the form Izuku had met him with.
"I will not stand for this..."
The Chaos Heart-Olive was holding Dimentio, prepared to drill his face in when Olly had spoken; drawing its attention away from the jester. It tossed Dimentio aside and morphed its hand back to normal.
"You want to challenge us...? Then fight us you shall..."
It charged for Olly, who knelt down and placed his hands in the puddle of yellow tears, which had formed into a large circle by then. Izuku watched as the borderline of the Magic Circles wrapped around his arms.
"Prepare to die...!"
It slashed at Olly, who had swiftly dodged as if time stood still. Izuku had never seen Olly use so much of his power before.
"Is this natural?" He asked when he went to help Dimentio.
Dimentio watched Izuku's classmates release attacks on the Chaos Heart-Olive while it tried to attack Olly. "No...I have never seen this kind of magic before...in any universe...That child really is something else, is he not?" Dimentio staggered and coughed up blood. "I am not holding up well anymore...I am dying, Izuku..."
"What?! But you're the only one that can stop the Chaos Heart, right? Plus Olive said you were fine!"
"Izuku...A soul cannot bleed this much and be alright..."
Olly landed on the ground next to Izuku, a few scrapes on his face and arms. Izuku brought Dimentio over to him.
"Olly, are you okay?"
"I will not let her die in vain. I will not let her die so young and still so full of dreams. I will not let her die. I will not let her die! I WILL NOT LET HER DIE!"
He let out a loud scream and the bands glew brighter. A pair of flaming wings appeared behind him, not attached to his back but worked perfectly well.
"The Fire Vellumental?!"
"I will defeat you, here and now! I will avenge my dear, little sister!"
He charged the Chaos Heart-Olive, which actually flinched away when he drew his sword. He covered it with flames by sliding his finger up the edge of the sword. Izuku saw the fire come from the blood he left behind.
"Mani, I will make sure you live longer than I! I will make sure your dream to rule a Kingdom of peace comes to pass!"
He stabbed the sword into its face, pieces of metal coming up from the impact.
He smiled softly. "I love you, Mani. I always have and always will. Now die, VERMIN!"
It smacked Olly off its face, him landing next to Olivia. When it glared at Izuku, the face was cracked beyond recognition. It swept its hand over its face, fixing the damage.
"What?!" Ochaco gasped. "We can't do anything to it?!"
"You have gotten on our nerves for the last time...Now you will all die..." It locked eyes with Izuku.
"Deku, run!" Bakugo ordered. "I'll teach this thing a lesson!"
He rushed to it, getting knocked out in one hit without its gaze shifting from Izuku. He took off speed-walking, Dimentio hobbling beside him.
"Izuku, drop me."
"No way! That thing will tear you to shreds!"
Dimentio forced himself from Izuku's grasp, knocking him over. He clapped his hands and pushed them forwards, a sort of see-through cube appearing around it. It crashed into the edge.
"I have to get you all out of here, and now."
"No! You'll die if you use that much power like this!"
"I know. But having somebody else die because of me will be even worse."
"Dimentio, Jumpman sacrificing himself wasn't your fault."
"But I did it. They were my strings. My puppet strings controlled that driver! I killed him, okay?!" His tears fell upwards. "Now get out of here when I summon a portal. You understand?!"
"Your strings...?"
Dimentio snapped and the inside of the cube filled with explosions. He quickly turned and opened a portal.
"Go! Now! You best be lucky I am risking my own sanity to save your life!"
"Sanity? No, I'm not leaving! A hero stays and fights, even if they die! A hero does whatever it takes to save those they care about!"
"Who is going to save those people if you are dead, Izuku?! Leave this place! I cannot hold it open for much longer!"
"I'm staying and helping you fight!"
"You are way too stubborn, Izuku..." The portal flickered away and Dimentio collapsed.
The box vanished as well, and the Chaos Heart-Olive swiped the smoke away. It locked eyes with Izuku again.
"Your pure heart...will be ours!"
Izuku saw his life flash before him as it charged him. He would be too slow to move, and too weak to beat it. He felt like crying, feeling he had betrayed his mom.
"I never got to become a full-fledged hero..."
