Diary Entry# ?
What happens when you take over 20,000 people from the real world and put them in a game world turned real.
Chaos
Absolutely pure Chaos
That's what happened years ago. Over 20,000 people found themselves whisked away and dropped in the game of Adventure Quest Worlds, a very old game from the 2000s and still going strong despite the slowly dying community.
The game only had 7000 players.
Obviously, the other victims (a whooping 13,000) aren't so happy and blamed the players for this event. This led to a divide amongst the players and civilians (as the players call them), creating animosity and dislike towards another.
But reluctantly, both groups had to work together in order to live in this new reality. Working together, these Foreigners from another world established a somewhat functional society in one year in Battleon Town, now called Battleon City.
How did they do it?
Magic, of course.
They didn't just get kidnapped in this new world but also obtain powers regarding the game's classes.
Naturally, the civilians got random classes from the four beginning classes and their abilities.
Warrior, the brute.
Mage, the spellcaster.
Rogue, the quick blade.
and Healer, the mystical doctor.
But the ones that benefits the most are players as they got powers from one of their classes in game.
Some are powerful and some are weak.
Which leads to another problem.
Power corrupts all.
Drunk in power, some players had began to do whatever they want. Regardless if it's wrong or right. From petty revenge to illegal acts of violence and morals, they will do it.
Thus the Guild was formed.
Our job?
To keep this motherfuckers in line.
Slitting the throat of a tricky mage, who has the ability to teleport and bring armies along with him, I threw his dying self to an incoming sword.
It pierced through his head, killing him instantly and giving him mercy from a slow death.
"PERCY!!! YOU BASTARD!!!"
His girlfriend on the other hand is in a different league.
She's a Void High Lord.
Imagine Gilgamesh but he uses soul weapons which not only kills you but consumes your soul to fuel their power.
That's how bad it is.
I immediately blinked, leaving behind a static image of myself as I dodged an ungodly amount of swords. The tide of soul weapons was unending, creating a huge dust cloud as the bitch's anger consumed her after I killed her boy toy.
Stupid.
Using the dust as cover, she never saw me bring out my bow.
Breath in

.
.
Loose
An arrow made of pure Reiryoku (Spiritual Power) sailed through the air. Unheard and unnoticeable by the constant sounds of raining soul weapons by the stupid bitch's attack, it was already over.
I turn around left, letting the floating body of once a powerful Void High Lord fall down with a sick crunch to unforgiving ground, with a small hole on her forehead where the arrow had faded away after doing its job.
Mission complete
"Damn it, that's a waste of a good Void High Lord."
My Guild master sighed, rubbing his head in pain at the loss of life.
Unlike popular belief of players leading players, our guild master is an old civilian.
A retired soldier.
We didn't ask for his rank or whatever branch he came from but we picked him off amidst the players volunteering for his ability to keep everyone in line and working together.
That's the kind of man old man McTavish is.
Back to his source of headache. To be honest, I agree with him.
Unfortunately, circumstances of real life ain't so full of rainbows and sunshine.
That Void High Lord I just killed? She was a victim of her boyfriend's manipulations. The bastard thought that just because his girl is strong, it means that he can do everything. The poor dumbass and lovesick girl obviously follows his demands even if it's a crime.
They stole gold and killed people for their leisure while far away from the Guild.
Luckily, Scarletta found out about them through rumors and monitoring the Mirror Realm.
So I was sent to capture or kill.
Obviously, the latter happened.
" Orders sir?"
"Nothing for now, dismiss." He waved me away.
With nothing to do for now until the next mission, I went to the Guild's Bar.
The Guild HQ is a hugest building in Battleon City as of now. Made from stone marbles with runes etching their bases and magical wood, it was the most strongest building that is capable of shrugging of a nuke.
We know cause someone tried it Those crazy ass Blazebinders.
The building had three floors with multiple rooms.
3rd floor is reserved for the Guild master and other important staffs that handle the logistics in various missions, request (we take jobs from other kingdoms and countries for profit), and trade (we sell some extra loot we found).
2nd floor meanwhile is reserved for Adventurer's, the guild members of the Guild (Player or civilian). Here they can take jobs from the receptionist and cash in rewards. It also serves as one of the banks major franchise, much to Mr. Augold's delight.
1st floor is reserved for the adventures recreational activities. Food courts, pools, gym and etc. They had it all.
My destination is the food court, I'm hungry.
As I walked by, all adventurers parted like water. Avoiding and whispering behind my back. Some look scared and some look angry.
I can hear them though.
Murderer
Serial Killer
Criminal
Traitor
The last one hurt the most.
As I arrived on the food court, ready to order my usual order (Fried rice with any available side dish), another complication arrived.
"Hey, you son of a bitch!"
I groaned. Turning around, I looked to see a pissed off civilian adventurer.
How do I tell?
Cause the dumbass is wearing a goady basic ass rogue set-up. A leather shirt with an armor strapped to his chest. His limb are covered with protective pads. On his torso, a belt is wrapped around his waist, filled with knives.
Overall, he looked like murder hobo
No player will get caught dressing up like that.
Just look at me for example.
I'm wearing a black military officers uniform with a black officers cap to complete the set.
Why a military uniform?
It is because of my main job in the guild.
"What is it? I'm pretty hungry right now so make it quick." I said to the guy, my voice filled with apathy. I'm just tire that's all.
Sadly, my answer triggered Boy Hobo's anger erection.
" You are the bastard who killed my brother a 2 months ago." He yelled, his voice filled with utmost venom and hate towards me. The only reason he hadn't charged me is his friends grabbing him to keep him in line.
" Dude! don't fight him."
"He's not worth it dude!"
" Ian, No!"
He had good friends, how envious.
"Who?" I asked truthfully.
It's a quirk of mine. I tend to forget the faces of the ones I kill to sleep soundly at night.
"Bastard!"
Oh, his friends slipped.
He charges at me with dual blades pulled out his blade.
He didn't get far.
Slam
" Thanks man." I said before I went to order my food.
The poor idiot got a Paladin treatment. A face full of tiled floors.
" No, fighting in the guild. " The Paladin, wearing full plated armor and radiating holy aura warned the poor guy while pushing his face down on the tiled floors.
"He killed my brother." The guy gritted out.
" By the Guild's orders, your brother broke the law and paid for it." I chimed in.
Hearing his cry of rage made me smile as I took my order from the scared cashier.
How sad, even the staff is afraid of me. Except for Old McTavish, he is cool.
" I'm not stopping you of your revenge boy, but I'm stopping you from throwing your life away to him."
"That man who killed your brother is a monster."
I left the food court with my order to eat in seclusion. As always.
I'm too tired in hearing how much of a monster I am.
Eating on top of the Guild's roof tops isn't good. It's too windy and hot at the same time, making it an uncomfortable place to eat.
Unfortunately, it's the only place I know which I can eat in peace without hearing everyone.
It's been 5 years since we got kidnapped to this world.
I was just 15 back then and alone. Unlike the lucky ones who had their entire families abducted with them. I was alone.
Which is already fine, my family doesn't count me as family after all.
So all alone and without supervision, I went to the place where all players go in the game, Green guard forest.
How do I know this?
I was one of them, a player.
Unlike in the game, the forest is much bigger and magical. A perfect place to find out what my power is.
It was shitty.
I'm a Yami No Ronin. A solo class which only thrives by being alone.
What's worse is that the class had no magical abilities.
So I did what the Yami No Ronin does best.
I studied the blade.
The Yami No Ronin class is based on a solo assassin type blade master that has unimaginable dodge capabilities.
The class also parodied the meme "I studied the blade."
For 2 years I studied the art of the blade. While others partied, I studied the blade. When others had sex, I studied the blade. When others moved on to life, I studied the blade.
By the end of it, I'm literally a Hashira from Demon Slayer.
Without magic, I had nothing to do except develop my sword skills which I had no basis off. So I recreated the sword breathing styles from Demon Slayer.
Obviously, I can't do it but in doing so, discovered my talents.
Soul.
Yami No Ronins are Dage's Blade masters in their greatest form. Souls are their main weapon.
Learning about my ability to manipulate my souls is a huge thing as I know had a basis in how to develop it.
Nen system of Hunter X Hunter came in clutch.Being too complicated but useful, it made my progress jump.
I joined the Guild short after which I got a name for myself.
Player Killer
Players turned criminals are hard to pin down and moreso in capturing them.
Killing is the best option as most of them have powerful classes like Void High Lords or Legion Revenants.
With my training and mindset, I easily tore through all of them, leading to some of them to go into hiding in order not be killed. My notoriety amongst the criminals grew as my capabilities in killing them reach them. The same can be said to my allies. As if they became traitors of the guild, I will be one to be sent in order to capture or kill them.
The latter had a 100% success rate to happen.
That's why many hated me, scared of me and ostracized me.
It's fine though.
I'm already used to it.
It just feels like home, unwanted but used.
Suddenly, my locket vibrated.
I opened the locket on my neck, showing a small mirror inside with a beautiful redheaded woman.
"Malgor, I found your new target. He's a Blazebinder keeping an island hostage south from Lolosia. "
Of course, damn pyromaniacs.
Chapter end
Malgor is a codename used for Guild operations.
Those who played the game know the significance of the name.
