The next day, while Jake and Frankie were driving to school, they were thinking about Gil and his wanting to be in Dramarama with them, knowing the real reason and completely doubting the fake one.

"Gil doesn't wanna join our Dramarama class because he's interested in it." Jake said.

"No, he doesn't. He only wants to join it because of his jealously of you and Lagoona." Frankie said.

"I hope Bloodgood didn't change his schedule." Jake said warily.

"Me neither, and if she did, hopefully she made him promise to be nice." Frankie agreed.

Jake nodded in agreement.

XXXXXXX

When the two of them arrived at Monster High, Jake and Frankie got out of the car and went up to the steps to greet their friends; they also fist-bumped Jackson, Clawd, Deuce, Heath, and Slo Mo.

"So, Lagoona, Jake, did you guys tell Mr. Where you didn't wanna be partners anymote?" Clawd asked.

"Yeah. We also told him the reason why and he understood." Lagoona responded.

"That's good." Clawd said with a smile.

Deuce chimed in. "Has Gil improved his behavior at all?"

"No, and get this, we overheard him talking to Mr. Where about wanting to join the class!" Cleo exclaimed.

Clawd, Deuce, and Heath groaned derisively.

"How long is that dude gonna let this go on for?" Heath asked.

"We honestly have no idea. I hope he doesn't make a fool of himself in front of Mr. Where." Jake said.

"Considering how he's been acting recently, that sounds plausible at this point." Frankie said.

A couple of minutes later, Gil arrived and walked up the steps while he eyeballed the gang, with them eyeballing him as well until he went inside.

"He's lucky our friends don't know about how much of a jerk he's been." Clawdeen retorted.

"Except for Rochelle, I told her yesterday." Jackson said.

"Good! She deserves to know." Clawd said, expressing his approval.

Draculaura chimed in. "How are you feeling, Lagoona? Still upset?"

"No, I'm doing a lot better, thank you. I had a nice talk with my dad and he suggested I stay away from Gil for a while until he stops being a jerk. I honestly think that's the best thing to do, not only for me but for all of us, too." Lagoona replied.

"Agreed." Jake, Frankie, Draculaura, Clawdeen, Cleo, Ghoulia, Jackson, Clawd, Deuce, Heath, and Slo Mo said in unison.

Soon enough, the bell rang and the gang entered the building; they (except for Slo Mo) headed to Dead Languages and took their seats as Mr. Rotter started on his lesson.

When Gil made it to his first period class, Clawculus, he took his seat next to Robecca. She looked at him in hopes of making conversation with him.

"Hi." Robecca greeted, giving a smile.

"Hello." Gil greeted back. His tone was surprisingly normal this time.

"How are you doing?" Robecca asked.

"Fine. You?" Gil asked.

"I'm good! Just ready to do some difficult math." Robecca said with a giggle.

"Yeah, me too." Gil said, grinning lightly.

Robecca cleared her throat. "You, um, seem to be in a much better mood than you were yesterday."

"Oh, sorry about that. I was just feeling sour." Gil said.

"Wanna talk about it?" Robecca asked.

"I was upset at Jake and Lagoona." Gil responded.

"Why?" Robecca asked curiously.

Gil sighed. "Because...I'm jealous of them..." He didn't wanna say it but it just came out.

Robecca tilted her head, confused. "Why are you jealous?"

"They've been working together in their Dramarama class a lot." Gil said awkwardly.

"And you're jealous all because of that?" Robecca asked.

"Yeah...but Robecca, you don't understand...you have no idea how hard it is knowing your best triend and girlfriend are in each other's company twenty-four-seven." Gil said.

Robecca was incredulous. In all her years of knowing Gil, she thought he was better than this. Maybe she was wrong about him.

"That is nothing to be jealous of and you know it!" Robecca exclaimed, now in shock.

"Robecca-" Gil began, but was cut off.

"You know, Gil, I was gonna work with you for our project today, but maybe I should find someone else. I don't wanna work with you if you're jealous for no reason." Robecca said angrily.

Gil's eyes widened. "What?! Come on, that's ridiculous!"

"Is it? I know where jealously leads, it leads to somebody turning into a jerk!" Robecca said.

'Jerk'. There was a lot of that word going around lately, and quite frankly, Gil was sick and tired of hearing it.

"You know what, Robecca? You don't wanna work with me? Fine, I don't care. I just wish you understood where I'm coming from." Gil told her, bitter.

All Robecca did was scoff and cross her arms in a huff, while Gil looked at her and shook his head.

(1 hour later)

After Dead Languages was over, Jake, Frankie, Draculaura, Clawdeen, Lagoona, Cleo, Ghoulia, and Jackson left and headed to Mad Science, sitting down afterwards; then Robecca came in and did the same as she greeted her friends.

"Now I know why Gil was in a bad mood yesterday." Robecca said bleakly.

"I take it he told you?" Jake asked.

"Mm-hmm. I can't believe he's jealous of you and Lagoona for working together, I thought he was better than that!" Robecca exclaimed.

"So did we, but the past few days have proved us wrong." Cleo said.

Jackson changed the subject. "Hey, Robecca, what are we doing in Clawculus?"

"You'll be doing a project. I was gonna work with Gil but I decided against that after he confessed his jealously to me." Robecca said.

"We don't blame you one bit." Frankie said.

"He's really off his rocker, I must say." Robecca added.

"So you agree he's being ridiculous! I had a fight with him yesterday and he was talking crazy, accusing me of sneaking around behind his back and having feelings for Jake." Lagoona said, shaking her head.

"Oh, Lagoona, I'm so sorry!" Robecca told her sympathetically.

Jake made a face. "Wait, he accused you of having a feelings for me?"

"Yeah! He said it was because I was overly friendly with you and that I was worried about you and your problems." Lagoona said.

"Wha...how...what?!" Jake asked. He was totally flabbergasted.

"I don't get that either. Your guys' relationship has been completely platonic, I mean, you did kiss but that was pretend." Draculaura said.

"Exactly! Gil's not making sense anymore. And you know what else? He also said I was lecturing him. Go figure." Lagoona remarked.

"Okay, excuse my harsh language, but Gil is really starting to piss me off." Jake said while biting his lower lip.

"Does that mean he's making you really angry? 'Cause we're feelin' the same way!" Clawdeen exclaimed.

It was at this time that Mr. Hack started teaching. While he did, the gang decided not to think about Gil and instead focus on the lesson for their own sanity.

In Study Howl, Gil was sitting by himself working on his Clawculus homework; Clawd, Deuce, and Heath usually sat with him, but because of his recent behavior, they sat at a different table away from him. He glanced at them and scowled at them, and they did it to him as well.

Many minutes later, Venus walked in and the first thing she noticed was Gil being separated from Clawd, Deuce, and Heath; she immediately wanted to know why.

"Gil?" Venus asked as she sat down with him.

Gil looked up and greeted, "Hey, Venus." rather lackluster.

"Why are you sitting by yourself?" Venus questioned.

"'Cause I don't know who my friends are anymore." Gil replied with a sigh.

"I don't understand." Venus said, giggling in confusion.

Gil set his pencil down. "Everyone's turning against me. They keep saying I'm being a jerk but they don't see the bigger picture. I even tried to reason with Robecca last period and now she wants nothing to do with me."

"Why do our friends think you're being a jerk? Was it something you might've said or done?" Venus asked.

"Ask them." Gil said while gesturing his head to Clawd, Deuce, and Heath.

Venus nodded and went over to Clawd, Deuce, and Heath's table, then sat down.

"Hey, guys."

"Hey, Venus!" the 3 mansters greeted amiably and welcomingly.

"I was just talking to Gil and I wondered why he wasn't sitting with you. Apparently, our friends think he's being a jerk." Venus said.

Clawd, Deuce, and Heath's faces changed from happy to unhappy in less than a second.

"Yeah, he's being a jerk alright..." Clawd said, awkward.

"But why? What did he do?" Venus asked.

"Long story short, he's jealous of Lagoona and Jake working together in their Dramarama class." Deuce responded.

"For no reason, by the way." Heath added.

Venus blinked in suprise. "Seriously?"

"Mm-hmm. None of us can figure out why exactly, but he is." Clawd said.

"I can't believe it...I thought he was better than that! He knows they're just friends and that nothing romantic's going on between them!" Venus said angrily.

"Right? I guess he can't see that. Who knows what it'll take to get it through his head." Deuce said.

"You got that right. I feel so bad for Jake, I mean, the poor guy can't catch a break." Venus mused.

"Yeah, he had problems regulating his bladder, he was thirsty all the time, he lost his family, and now Gil's giving him a hard time. If I were him, I'd go insane." Heath said.

"And Lagoona, I can't imagine how she's feeling. Her relationship with her boyfriend is starting to crumble all because of some petty jealously. This is really devastating." Venus said, saddened.

The guys nodded in agreement. Venus leaned in closer to them and asked, "You guys think Lagoona and Gil will break up?"

"With everything going on, it's possible." Clawd said.

"I wouldn't rule it out." Deuce added.

"Same." Heath added.

Venus nodded and then glared at Gil before going up to him.

"What?" Gil asked with a confused look on his face.

"Well, now I know why our friends think you're a jerk." Venus said, exasperated.

Gil rolled his eyes derisively. "Spare me the lecture, Venus, okay? I don't need another person telling me that."

"I can't believe you're jealous over something as harmless as your girlfriend and best friend working together! You're better than that, Gil!" Venus told him in an angry manner.

"What do you want me to do?! Do you expect me to just accept it and move on with my life?!" Gil asked, spastic.

"Yeah, that's what you're supposed to do! You have to realize that the scenes Lagoona and Jake perform aren't real and they're just acting." Venus said.

"People keep telling me that and I don't know if it's true. I-" Gil started, but was interrupted by an announcement by Headmistress Bloodgood over the intercom.

"Gil Webber, I need to speak with you in my office, please."

"I'll be right back." Gil simply told Venus, and walked out.

Venus watched Gil leave with a defeated expression on her face and went back to Clawd, Deuce, and Heath.

"I've never seen him act this stubborn before." Venus said.

"People get like that when they're jealous." Clawd said.

"No kidding." Venus mused.

When Gil made it to Headmistress Bloodgood's office, he knocked on the door.

"Come in!" Bloodgood yelled from inside.

Gil opened the door, entered the office and pulled up a chair to sit, wasting no time.

"Alright, Gil, I have made some alterations to schedule and you are now in Mr. Where's sixth period Dramarama class. Here's your revised schedule." Bloodgood told him while handing it to him.

Gil skimmed over his new schedule and smiled. "Thank you, Headmistress Bloodgood."

"You're welcome. But remember, if you continue your negative behavior, you will be removed from Dramarama and your schedule will be switched back to the old one. Also, rudeness towards your friends will NOT be tolerated at this school in any way. If this persists, you will spend the rest of your time after school in detention. Got it?" Bloodgood asked, very stern.

"Yes, ma'am!" Gil said obediently.

Headmistress Bloodgood nodded. "Good. You may head back to class now."

At that moment, Gil left the office and went back to Study Howl. On the way there, he was panicking because he couldn't control his anger towards Jake and Lagoona even though it would lead him to detention.

I have to spend the rest of my after-school time in detention if I don't let go of my jealous attitude towards Jake and Lagoona?! I can't help it!

Gil sat down, folded his schedule in half, and put it in his pocket, then sighed heavily; the thought of him being in detention made him even more mad.

Why does society hate me?

After Mad Science class ended, Jake, Frankie, Draculaura, Clawdeen, Lagoona, Cleo, Ghoulia, and Jackson headed to Clawculus, with Operetta, Toralei, Purrsephone, and Meowlody joining them on their way there; they took their seats when going inside.

Operetta quickly noticed her friends' moods were not like usual.

"Are y'all okay? You guys look mopey."

"You'd be right." Toralei said bleakly.

"What's the matter?" Operetta asked, concerned.

"It's my jerk of a boyfriend." Lagoona responded. She had her hand rested against her cheek.

"I'm sorry, jerk of a boyfriend? Now that's a new one." Operetta quipped.

Jake chimed in. "He's giving me and Lagoona a hard time."

Operetta tilted her head in confusion. "Why?"

"Would you believe it if we told you he's jealous of them working together in Drama?" Frankie asked.

"Uh...yes, no, maybe so? I don't know what to make of that." Operetta said while blinking with surprise.

"Well, it's true. And infuriating." Draculaura said.

"Gil's so jealous that he's been being a jerk to Lagoona and Jake, and it's making the rest of us mad, too." Clawdeen added.

"Wow! I never knew two people working together was somethin' to be jealous of. You learn somethin' new every day." Operetta said.

"Because of that, we've been avoiding Gil at all costs." Cleo said.

Ghoulia spoke zombie to say that it was the only way to get their minds off the situation.

"I can't say I blame ya. I wouldn't wanna be around a jealous jerk either." Operetta said, shaking her head.

"No one would. I don't know anyone who could stand to do so." Jackson said.

The gang were in agreement with that. Then, Purrsephone changed the subject to lighten the mood.

"On a brighter note, we listened to Michael Jackson all day yesterday after school!" Purrsephone said, referring to herself, Toralei, and Meowlody.

Jake, Frankie, Draculaura, Clawdeen, Lagoona, Cleo, Ghoulia, Jackson, and Operetta beamed with delight upon hearing that news.

"That's so awesome, guys!" Jake said happily.

"Yup! We listened to all of his albums back-to-back in one sitting." Meowlody said.

"Which one's your favorite?" Frankie asked.

"Mine's Thriller for sure. I even learned the dance after I watched the video." Toralei responded.

"Mine's Off the Wall." Purrsephone said.

"And mine's Bad." Meowlody said.

"Nice! It seems like Off the Wall, Thriller, and Bad are the most common favorites within our friends." Draculaura said with a smile.

Clawdeen chimed in. "What's your ghouls' favorite song from those albums?"

"Honestly, I can't pick a favorite. They're all so good!" Toralei cheerfully said.

"Agreed! I don't think Michael has any bad songs, or albums for that matter." Purrsephone said.

"He's just from another planet, like, he's so unreal, there's no one else like him." Meowlody added.

"Ain't that the truth!" Lagoona agreed.

"Also, Jake, we checked out your playlist, too." Toralei told him.

Jake got excited. "What'd you think?"

"It's fangtastic, dude! We listened to it on shuffle last night and today on the way to school, and it's amazing!" Purrsephone said, grinning.

"There's so many songs that we can't even come close to picking a favorite. And don't get us started on the variety, I mean, you got pop, rock, disco, R-and-B, soul, funk, country, folk, it's just incredible!" Meowlody said.

"Well, Jake kind of is a musical savant." Cleo said while winking playfully at him.

Jake laughed endearingly, flattered. "I'm glad you guys love what I play."

The gang's discussion just so happened to end at the right time when Mr. Mummy stood in front of his chalkboard and started teaching, with the class following along as usual.

(2 hours later)

After fourth period, it was time for lunch; the students walked out of their classes and began heading to the creepateria to eat.

While walking down the hallway, Venus spotted Robecca and approached her.

"Hey, Robecca."

"Oh, hey, Venus!" Robecca greeted jovially.

"I need to talk to you about something. It's, uh, kind of insane, really." Venus said, awkward.

"Go ahead." Robecca said.

"So, I just found out from Clawd, Deuce, and Heath that Gil's jealous of Lagoona and Jake working together in Dramarama and he's being a jerk about it. Can you believe that?" Venus asked.

Robecca's face changed quickly. "Yeah, I can. I found that out from Gil himself, he confessed it to me in Clawculus."

"That's just the stupidest and most banal thing ever, right? I mean, why be jealous of two people performing scenes together for class assignments? It doesn't make any sense!" Venus exclaimed.

"No, it doesn't! I totally agree with you, Venus. Gil's just acting crazy." Robecca said.

"Pfft, yeah, he is! When I was told, I was in shock, I really was. I hope for Jake and Lagoona's sake that he doesn't keep this up any longer." Venus said.

"So do I. There's no excuse for his behavior." Robecca said while shaking her head disapprovingly.

Venus nodded, expressing her agreeance at Robecca's statement.

Meanwhile, after he told his friends he was going to stop by his locker to get a drink of water, Jake did just that. However he was consuming more than usual, judging by his audible gulping noises.

Jackson heard the noises and went up to Jake in worry.

"You might wanna slow down on the water, man. You don't want another incident with your bladder to happen." Jackson warned.

"I know." Jake said, putting his water bottle away. "It's just that I tend to drink so much water when I'm stressed out."

"Are you stressed out because of Gil?" Jackson asked.

"Yeah." Jake replied.

"Well, I know what'll take your mind off him." Jackson said with a grin.

Jake raised an eyebrow, confused. "What?"

"I'll show you after we get our food." Jackson said.

"Okay." Jake simply said. He was still confused on what his half-normie, half-monster pal meant but ran with it anyway.

Jackson put his arm around Jake as the two of them headed to the creepateria. After they served themselves lunch, they, along with the rest of the gang, went outside and sat underneath their favorite tree.

"You ever heard of a band called Toxic Crimson Dancer, Jake?" Jackson asked him.

"Um, I can't say that I have! That name doesn't ring a bell." Jake responded.

"They're my favorite band up of all-time, right up there with Guns N' Roses." Jackson said, smiling.

"Cool! What genre are they? Are they, like, alternative rock, punk, metal, grunge?" Jake asked curiously.

"Oh, you'll see. I can play one of their songs for you if you want. Want me to do that?" Jackson asked.

"Sure, go ahead!" Jake said.

Jackson nodded and pulled out his iCoffin, then opened up FrightTube and found a song by Toxic Crimson Dancer.

"I can't wait for you to hear this, bro. Ready?" Jackson asked.

"I'm ready!" Jake said, getting hyped up.

Jackson pressed play and the song started; this inevitably caused a transformation into Holt Hyde.

Jake was already into it. "Whoa!" He giggled and started bobbing his head to the beat.

Holt stood up and played air guitar while shouting the lyrics. The gang (including Jake) also sang along, dancing vigoriously. Well, except for Rochelle, Skelita, and Jinafire, who didn't care for that kind of music at large.

When the song was over, Holt turned back into Jackson and put his iCoffin away with a big smile on his face; he looked at Jake, awaiting his thoughts.

"What'd you think?" Jackson asked.

"That was friggin' awesome! Oh my God, Jackson, that was...I don't even know! I don't have any words at the moment, I just...wow!" Jake exclaimed, speechless.

"I'm glad you loved it, buddy! I wanted to do something to help take your mind off of you-know-who-know so I thought, 'Hey, I'll introduce Jake to Toxic Crimson Dancer'." Jackson said with a chuckle.

Jake smiled knowingly. "Thanks, man. They remind me of Nine Inch Nails, you know, that, uh, industrial sound."

"I can see that." Jackson said, nodding.

Spectra chimed in. "I haven't heard a Toxic Crimson Dancer song in a while. It was nice to revisit them just now."

"You've been slackin', Jackson!" Clawdeen joked.

Jackson laughed at Clawdeen's joke.

"I have said this before and I will say it again, I do not like rock or metal music." Rochelle said.

"Me neither." Jinafire said.

"Same here." Skelita said.

"Why not?" Jake asked.

"It's just a bunch of noise, at least to me." Rochelle said.

"I agree. There is nothing fun about a bunch of people screaming and electric guitars blaring into your ears." Jinafire said.

"Sí, it's just too much. Although I do kind of have a soft spot for rock ballads." Skelita said with a smile.

"That's fair!" Jake said happily.

Heath chimed in. "While we're on the topic, I relistened to Michael Jackson's early stuff and I actually really enjoyed it the second time around. I don't know why I was so dismissive of it at the listening party."

"It's 'cause you have terrible taste in music!" Clawd joked.

"In your dreams!" Heath snarked back, smirking.

Jake, Frankie, Draculaura, Clawdeen, Lagoona, Cleo, Ghoulia, Abbey, Robecca, Operetta, Spectra, Rochelle, Venus, Iris, Howleen, Skelita, Jinafire, Twyla, Jackson, Clawd, Deuce, Heath, Manny, Slo Mo, and Hoodude continued to talk until lunch was over. After that, they threw away their food and headed to fifth period.

On the way to Home Ick, Jake, the main 6 ghouls, Jackson, Rochelle, and Venus were greeted by Gil, much to their dismay.

"See you guys in Dramarama next period." Gil bitterly said, and walked away.

Rochelle and Venus looked at their friends in confusion.

"What was that about?" Venus asked.

"I guess he was able to get his classes changed." Frankie said with a frustrated sigh.

"Just when I thought he couldn't be more of a jerk!" Lagoona grumbled.

The gang comforted Lagoona so she could calm down, then went inside the Home Ick room.

"Good afternoon, everyone!" Ms. Kindergrubber greeted.

"Good afternoon, Ms. Kindergrubber!" the students greeted back.

"I hope you all have your ingredients memorized, 'cause today is baking day! We'll be going in alphabetical order. Let me get a few things ready and then we'll get started." Ms. Kindergrubber said.

The class was well prepared to make their dirt and worms cakes. Jake looked at his friends and asked them, "You guys ready?"; they responded saying they were.

"Okay, class, let the baking begin!" Ms. Kindergrubber said.

For the next hour, each student's name was chosen for them to go up to the oven and bake; it was easy to get through everybody since the class wasn't really that big.

After everybody's cake was done, they were able to taste them. Much to their relief, all of them turned out great!

When Home Ick ended, the class headed out in unison; Jake, Frankie, Draculaura, Clawdeen, Lagoona, Cleo, Ghoulia, Jackson, and Slo Mo were dreading Dramarama because Gil was going to be there, but they had to make the best of it.

Mr. Where greeted his students with his usual cheeriness.

"Good afternoon, class!"

"Good afternoon, Mr. Where!" the class greeted back.

"Today, we have a technically-not-new student joining us since he's been in the class before, but either way, I'd like to welcome you to Gil Webber!" Mr. Where said.

Miscellaneous students clapped their hands for Gil while the gang just glared at him dismissively. This didn't stop him from grinning, though.

"So, anyway, today will be our last leg of improv. Who wants to be the first volunteer?" Mr. Where asked.

Gil raised his hand.

"Ah, Gil! Come on up." Mr. Where told him.

Gil stood up and stepped foot on stage.

"Who would you like to be your partner?" Mr. Where asked.

Clawdeen mumbled, "Of course he's goin' first." under her breath. Unfortunately, that prompted Gil to pick her as his partner, much to her chagrin.

"Clawdeen."

Clawdeen made a disappointed face. "Aw, come on! Mr. Where, do I have to?"

"Gil, it seems that Clawdeen doesn't have any interest in working with you. Are you okay with picking someone else?" Mr. Where asked.

"With all due respect, Mr. Where, I would like to work with her, please." Gil said politely.

Mr. Where nodded. "Very well then. Clawdeen, Gil insists on working with you and we have a lot of scenes to get through, so."

"Fine..." Clawdeen mused. She begrudingly went up on stage and stood next to Gil.

"And...begin!" Mr. Where said.

With that being said, Clawdeen and Gil performed their improv. The scene they choose to do was where one accused the other of cheating on their partner, scarily similar to the real life situation. Notably, there was no humor and it was very dry in tone.

"Wow! Well done, you two! Excellent job!" Mr. Where complimented while clapping his hands.

Clawdeen and Gil bowed and went back to their seats. Both of them were embarrassed but support from their classmates steadied it.

The next improv scenes were as follows: Jake paired with Draculaura, Frankie paired with Cleo, Lagoona paired with Ghoulia, and Jackson paired with Slo Mo. When the whole class was done, Mr. Where allowed them to do free time.

Gil was all alone by himself since his friends wanted nothing to do with him; he played on his iCoffin to keep himself occupied.

(1 hour later)

After Dramarama ended, Mr. Where said bye to his students as they left the room collectively.

When the gang made it outside, Gil pulled Jake to the side, much to his annoyance.

"What do you want? Are you gonna tell me how happy you are that I did my improv with Draculaura instead of Lagoona?" Jake asked, snide.

"No, I'm gonna tell you this: stay away from my ghoul." Gil said sternly.

Jake made a face. "Excuse me?"

"Do I have to spell it out for you? I don't want you hanging out with her!" Gil yelled.

"Don't tell me what to do! Who do you think are telling me who can and can't hang out with?!" Jake asked, getting angry himself.

Unbeknownst to the boys, Cleo was watching their argument in concern; she was also getting mad at Gil's attitude towards Jake.

"Listen to me, Jake, either you quit hanging out with Lagoona or something bad's gonna happen to you. Do you understand me?" Gil threatened.

Jake's eyes widened with shock. "Are you threatening me?"

Gil didn't answer the question and merely walked away.

Jake just stood there, speechless. Cleo approached him with great worry as she was also just as shocked as he was.

"Hi, Jake." Cleo said worriedly.

"Hi, Cleo." Jake muttered.

"I was watching you and Gil argue from a few feet away. Is everything okay?" Cleo asked.

Jake swallowed. "I don't know...he told me to stop hanging out with Lagoona or else something bad was gonna happen to me!"

Cleo gasped and covered her mouth in shock. "W-what does that mean?!"

"I don't know but...I'm really scared, Cleo! My anxiety and paranoia is telling me this'll be a thousand times worse than it already is." Jake said. He looked down at the ground.

"Jake, look at me. We're not going to let anything bad happen to you, okay? We'll do everything we can to protect you, we promise." Cleo reassured him while placing her hand on his shoulder.

Jake took a some deep breaths and nodded. "Okay."

Cleo gave Jake a friendly kiss on the cheek and told him she'll see him tomorrow; he got in his car where Frankie was waiting for him (he had given her his keys to unlock it).

"Are you okay?" Frankie asked, concerned.

"Uh, no, no, I'm not." Jake replied in a fast manner.

"What's wrong?" Frankie asked.

"I'll tell you when we get home. I need your parents to be involved, too." Jake said.

Frankie became even more worried, but complied. "Oh, okay then."

At that moment, Jake started up the car and drove off.

Meanwhile, Lagoona was in the middle of walking home when Cleo came up to her in a panic.

"Lagoona, I need to talk to you." Cleo told her, fearful.

"What's going on?" Lagoona asked worriedly.

"I overheard Gil and Jake arguing, and Jake told me that Gil said to him to stop hanging out with you or else something bad was gonna happen to him!" Cleo exclaimed.

Lagoona was shocked to her core. "WHAT?!"

"Yeah, it's really bad! Look, you need to figure out what's going on with your boyfriend before he does anything worse." Cleo warned.

"Okay, Cleo. I'll call him right now." Lagoona said.

"Alright. See you tomorrow." Cleo said, and went the opposite direction.

Lagoona heaved a long, desperate sigh and pulled out her iCoffin; she didn't know who the heck Gil was anymore.

When Jake and Frankie got home, they entered and were greeted by Viktor and Viveka.

"Hey, kids! How was school?" Viktor asked.

"Fine. I, uh, have a headache and I need to go lay down for a little bit." Jake responded swiftly.

Viktor and Viveka's demanor's changed from happy to worried.

"Oh! Okay, honey, go ahead." Viveka said.

Without hesitating, Jake headed straight to his room and got in bed. The headache part was actually true as he got them whenever he was stressed, scared, anxious or nervous.
