"You excited about tomorrow, since it's yohr element plus have been practicing the last few months." Rocket asked Ranger that night at dinner seeing Rocket Senior and Nebula give him smiles and Bud squeezed his paw as he'd seen him practicing earlier. Tomorrow was the Knowhere Rodeo which everybody looked forward to, especially Ranger as he'd entered and had been practicing his skills with Bud watching and cheering Ranger on even when he messed up like falling off the mechanical hull sometimes, messing up with rope tricks but he felt good when Bud helped him. "I guess but was practicing one last time when you and dad were doing yohr thing." Ranger told Rocket Senior and Rocket eating tacos
"You've got nothing to worry about, you've been practing for months, and we'll be there cheering you on." Rocket Senior told him astounding Ranger but added excitement but also nervous. He hadn't expected his dad to come watch him in the rodeo just Bud and maybe even Rocket but not their dad feeling a tiny headache coming on which happened when he felt anxious excusing himself from the table confusing them seeing Rocket sense something bothered his big bro excusing himsekf making Nebula smile as she knew her furboy could help his brother feel better sensing it was about the rodeo tomorrow and about Rocket Senior watching him at the rodeo. "Ummmm I think you wanting to watch Ranger at the rodeo is making him anxious which I get. I would he like that when Thanos made me fight my sister, Gamora as I wanted him to be proud of me, guessing that's what Ranger wants." she told him surprising Rocket Senior at her words.
"I-I am prohd of both my bos, and guess Inshould tell Ranger that, when Bud and Rocket calm him down." he said.
Bud and Rocket then rejoined them, saying Ranger had just had an anxiety attack and headache plus had tired himself out practicihg hard making Rocket Senior feel bad, knowing Ranger wanted to make him proud which Rocket got but knew their dad would explain to Ranger later as his brother got hungry after having an nap which Bud knew about but Rocket Senior knew he could talk to Ranger later about how he was feeling seeing Rocket nodding as he and Nebula were heading out for a bit making Rocket Senior nodding
A little bit later, Ranger was up feeling hungry after his nap but saw his dad there chuckling as it was after ten at night plus he was surprised that his dad wasn't running off to some hero thing or doing something science like with Rocket making Rocket Senior sighing as he was making warm milk for him, using some of the honey from the honeycomb Ranger had bio-emgineered which made him proud feeling bad he hadn't spent any bonding timewith Ranger and it had taken Nebula to bring it to his attention plus making toast for them putting honey on it making Ranger smile at this.
"I know you were freaked out aboht me watching you tomorrow and that I spend a lot of tome with your brother, but I'm proud of you too, and we should spend time together too, which Nebula brought to my attention." Rocket Senior told him feeling Ranger hug him saying he'd like that a lot seeing his dad kiss his furry head making Ranger feel good about himself or tomorrow going back to his room seeing Bud give him a thunmds or hoof up which was encouraging him.
