"Yes Captain?" The blonde stands attention to her superior. Being he called her into his office at the Aqua Base so early this morning.
One whom knows her, can see the well hidden tiredness in her stance/voice. He smirks behind his well trimmed brown mustache.
"Dana. . ."
"Daddy?" The professionalism drops as he trails off slightly chuckling. Immediately embracing her, of course she tenderly smiles hugging him back.
"Happy birthday, my little girl." He kisses the top of her bob-cut blonde head. "I just wanted to be the first to tell you."
"You definitely are. I didn't remember myself." The paramedic smiles softly, they both give a good chuckle.
"Right now back to bed. Tomorrow no training for you. I'll inform your teammates."
"Yes, sir." The professionalism back yet the atmosphere is lighter, still just Daddy/Daughter in his office.
"Speaking of them. . ." Once again Bill Captain stops, Dana fully turns back around away from the sliding door.
"You and Carter seem very close. Should I and Ryan being watching him more?"
"Daddy!" Dana whines with a embarrassed blush dusting her pale cheeks at the thought of her father and older brother being overprotective because their Red ranger.
Captain Mitchell chuckles highly amused, "I have my answer. Tho I trust the young fireman's leadership skills. You're my little girl. . . Anyway you are dismissed."
"Thanks Daddy." Dana smiles instead of walking out, she marches over kissing his left cheek.
"Get some needed sleep to Captain Mitchell." She winks now saluting him, turning fully around walking out.
Hearing as the sliding door closes behind her. "I love you Dana."
