Realm of Scales: Poseidon's Blessing

Obsidian is sent to the Tundra to make friends with the FrostDrakes. In the process he is sent on a quest to seek help from the CoralFin Tribe. Once he completes this however, he has to face another challenge. With the help of his friends along the way, will he be able to complete his quest? Or will he fail?

3. Chapter 1

Obsidian was flying to the palace to meet the Queen. When he caught sight of the palace he started thinking about what the Queen would order for him to do. As he walked inside the palace he spotted the Queen, signing a scroll. The scroll was light-blue with a gem drawing on it.

Obsidian, having seen this before, knew now what the Queen would ask of him. "Ah, Obsidian, I would love to know how you have been doing, but we need to do this as soon as possible. I want you to go to The FlakeDrake Tundra under the symbol of Truce to make friends with someone of high ranking in their tribe, if you can complete this task, we may be able to make peace with the FlakeDrake Tribe."

Obsidian nodded in understanding and went to pack his pouches for the Tundra. As he flew off into the distance he spotted the blue-white snow, ready for him to land.

Avalanche was walking through the thick snow towards the Ice Palace. He spotted the sparkling bright-blue doors and walked inside. He found the Queen sitting on the throne and talked to a red dragon with black and purple scales. "I think you will find that Avalanche is an exceptional roommate." The Queen said. "I know, but, do you have anything that can keep me warm while I am here?" The Queen nodded and said,"Once Avalanche arrives he can hand you an enchanted warmer." She then became quiet for a moment in thought and spotted Avalanche,"And it looks like we don't have long to wait!" Avalanche walked over to the Queen and bowed, keeping his eyes on her.

"Avalanche, we have a guest from the FireLands, Obsidian will be living with you during his stay." She spoke. Avalanche nodded and took Obsidian with him to his house.

"Sorry to be a bother, but, the Queen said you may have some Enchanted warmers?" Obsidian said blushing as he spoke. As Avalanche tried not to blush, he said,"Yeah, just give me a second to go grab them. I haven't had guests in a while, so, sorry about the mess." Obsidian nodded in understanding and said,"My house is pretty much the same, so, no worries."

Avalanche smiled to himself and rummaged through his stuff looking for the chest full of Warmers. When he finally found it he had to blow some of the dust off of it. Obsidian sneezed in the weirdest way and Avalanche laughed. He opened the chest and give Obsidian a warmer. Once Obsidian clipped on the Anklet and then went,"Oooooooo, that is so much better. Thanks." Avalanche smiled at him and said,"Let me show you your bed."

Obsidian followed Avalanche into a Darker room and tapped the floor three times. When he finished the walls in the room lit up. The room had a fur carpet and a bed in the center. "Thanks, Avalanche." Obsidian said. He nodded and went,"Good night." And went to his room, layed down and drifted off to sleep.
