Chapter 108

Dubois stared down at the Straw Hat Shinobi inside his chilly throne room.

"That was the first time I met Muranaka, I don't know where "Cyclone" came from. But I do know that if knew then what I know now, I would have tried to kill him the moment I saw him. What do you all know? About Cyclone?" Dubois asked, "I understand you fought him outside my castle."

Everyone was surprised to hear the question. The last thing they wanted to think about was the fight they just had against that demon.

"Try once before that. The guy barely tried, made us look like jokes." Sanji said.

"He's... he's a monster." Nami said.

Dubois looked up.

"A monster..." Dubois snickered, "Now that's a massive understatement." Dubois said.

Everyone sweat nervously. Just how much more monstrous could Cyclone get?

"Cyclone was about to kill you Naruto, before I stepped in." Dubois said softly.

Everyone except Mihawk and Akainu became worried and looked at Naruto. Naruto didn't know what to say.

"He-He-He was about to kill me?" Naruto stammered.

Dubois looked down at Naruto and nodded.

"Sure... that's why I had to stop him. If not for that ability you would have killed him." Dubois said.

Everyone was shocked.

"Naruto... actually killed him?" Sasuke asked.

"Is he not immortal like Tore?" Kakashi asked.

Dubois looked at the two.

"Cyclone himself is not immortal, Naruto definitely killed him when he hit him with that attack, but..." Dubois stopped.

Everyone stared up at Dubois nervously.

"Jambavan keeps him alive. That stance he took, before I intervened, allows him to blast a target with controlled shockwaves. It would have crushed every bone in your body in an instant." Dubois said softly, "Do you remember the form he took before he was frozen?" Dubois asked.

Everyone's eyes widened and they looked at each other, remembering what Collector said before Cyclone got back up.

"When Lord Cyclone dies... JAMBAVAN ARRIVES! THERE IS NO WHERE YOU CAN GO! NO WHERE YOU CAN HIDE!" Collector yelled, then, Cyclone stood up stared at the group with a blue-bear like aura surrounding him.

Everyone looked back at Dubois once he began speaking.

"And that's just the first part of his ability..." Dubois said.

"Just what in the hell is this guy?! Two parts to an already post mortem power?!" Franky yelled.

Dubois looked at Franky.

"I wish I could tell you... I don't know a thing about that man's history, but I do know about Jambavan." Dubois said, "To achieve the part of "immortality" Jambavan must go into his "real" form, a giant bear with many special abilities, I'm not sure if Cyclone is actually in control or not."

Everyone continued listening with nervousness.

"Once in this form, if there's still any remaining threat, Jambavan will obliterate them. I've never heard of anyone having a close fight with Jambavan except for some scrappy young king that ruled around, I don't know, 450 years ago. When even he died, the king I just mentioned, I had to hand it to Cyclone I will not lie to you." Dubois said, rubbing his head.

"Don't give him props!!!" Kraken yelled with an angry face.

"Once his targets are defeated, Jambavan regurgitates a "new" Cyclone, stronger than before. His lackey was right... when he said there was nothing you could do." Dubois said regrettably.

No one knew what to say. They all fought so hard to have just been killed anyway.

"The story of Jambavan is important because the abilities of Jambavan and those like him were too powerful for the World Government to let slide. The World Government didn't just want Joy Boy's kingdom because they were trying to take over the world anyway, but because they wanted to enslave and use those same "abominations" they supposedly hated." Dubois said, "At least... that's how it ended up going ... once Muranaka got involved..."

Naruto and Luffy grit their teeths at the mention of Cyclone's name.

"Understand that the reason Cyclone became Shogun was so he could do whatever he wanted without question from anyone without higher authority than his own." Dubois explained, "I was able to keep an eye on him somewhat, given I was an elder and had rank over him, but there was nothing I could do without putting Tore at risk."

Everyone continued listening.

"Everything started going wrong after Muranaka showed up. Random murders, kidnappings, maimed bodies here and there." Dubois said, shaking his head.

Dubois continued.

"Even a very powerful man from the shadowkin and his crew ended up being killed and nobody could figure out who did it. His death happened within a week of Muranaka's arrival so I already had my suspicions, but I had no proof he did the crime." Dubois said with anger.

"But I knew he was the one responsible. Every time. I just didn't know why. What the hell did he want?" Dubois said with anger.

Holy Land Manor (901 Years ago)

St Mars, St Saturn, St Ethan, and St Topman walked through a dark hall in the Holy Manor.

"Ubois hasn't been a problem so far.." St Mars said.

"I think he knows better." St Topman said.

"His brat, that sky boy Torebion. What's his story?" St Ethan asked.

"Only Mu-sama knows. Mu-sama spoke with Muranaka alone on the subject." St Saturn said.

"How do we know he won't be a problem?" St Ethan asked.

"What could Muranaka possibly do?" St Topman asked rhetorically, "The only reason we granted him a meeting with Mu-sama was because of his supposed knowledge of Torebion's lineage."

"He will remain in line.. or else." St Mars added.

The elders walked into a throne room where a throne sat atop a tall flight of stairs. The elders all got down on one knee as Mu walked in and sat on top of the throne. Mu stared down at the elders through red eyes.

"Muranaka gave Mu very good knowledge." Mu started.

The elders looked up at Mu.

"The sky boy is from a race called the Lecnians. They have a tremendous power inside of them. Their "willpower" is manifested and takes the form of a cosmic energy running through their bodies like blood would. The energy can be called upon and shaped into weapons and armor." Mu said, "That boy is valuable."

"What do you want to do? Mu-sama." St Saturn asked.

Mu stared down on the elders.

"Bring him to Mu." Mu said.

"It will be done." St Mars said.

"I'm afraid... I can't let that happen." A voice said.

Mu's head snapped to the side of the room to see a pair of eyes in the dark. One golden, clock patterned. The other one, was completely light blue with a slightly darker blue fading into the extremely thin, black pupil.

"WHAT DARES ENTERS MU'S THRONE ROOM?!" Mu hissed.

"You sound like a demon." The voice laughed.

St Saturn and the other elders stood to their feet.

"Come out of the shadows intruder! Make your death easier for yourself." St Ethan said, drawing his sword.

"But that's about it." The voice said, widening the light blue eye and emerging out of the shadows as a light blue, giant king cobra, wrapping all of the elders up and squeezing. The elders coughed up blood. They looked afraid.

"What is this?!" St Topman asked.

Mu's eye shook with anger at the giant snake.

"His name was Ramu-Dan. He was a witchcraft specialist of the Shadowkin. Rumor had it if you gazed upon his eyes he shifted into your biggest fear." The snake said, "He was dead for centuries by the time I read about him. Once I found out he was active on this island, while going through the old Shogun's files, I didn't hesitate to go after those eyes."

Mu shook with rage. The elders continued coughing as the snake tightened and untightened its body.

"He fought well, without the use of his eyes of course. What could a man like me fear?" The snake said, hissing and staring at Mu.

"MURANAKA!" Mu howled.

Cyclone, as the snake, looked at Mu.

"Do you understand why I became Shogun now? If you do, then you understand who's in charge here." Cyclone said, "That island you all call The Mainland, you don't even understand the power that rests there!"

Mu continued staring with anger at Cyclone, the elders still holding on but struggling to stay conscious.

"If not for my personal interests I would have watched you send your army into The Mainland and get wiped out before you even made it to the kingdom!" Cyclone laughed, "They would have taken your entire army all on their own."

Mu only allowed the talking to continue because of the information Cyclone was sharing, but Mu was intensely angry.

"Skin walkers!" Cyclone boomed in a hiss.

Mu's eyes widened. The elders' eyes widened as well.

"When the spirit of an animal attacks its killer they undergo a metamorphosis, becoming half man-half beast! In special cases, the skin walker gains access to abilities you can't fathom!!" Cyclone yelled with excitement, "Do you know what's even better? If you kill a skin walker... you gain their abilities!"

Mu couldn't believe this information. The elders were also surprised. They all knew where Cyclone was going with this.

"At the cost of your sanity, personality, appearance, etcetra, etcetra, BUT you just so happen to have a man from a different time who just so happens to know how to counteract the negative effects and just give you the power!!" Cyclone hissed.

Cyclone dropped the elders to the floor. Mu looked down at them with disgust and then back up at Cyclone who was staring directly into Mu's eyes.

Mu's eyes widened with fear.

"Like I said, these eyes are useless if the target doesn't fear anything... is this what you fear? Mu... elders.." Cyclone hissed, looking around the room.

The elders stared up angrily, as well as Mu, who stared with an insane rage.

"No... that's not it.. its giants." Cyclone hissed with an evil smirk.

The elders and Mu all widened their eyes with rage.

"DO NOT SPEAK OF SUCH TRASH IN MU'S PRESENCE!!!" Mu screeched.

"What did they do to you? All will be revealed soon enough." Cyclone said, slowly going back into his regular form, cracking his neck, and turning around towards the shadows.

"Once we've killed the skin walkers we desire, we can attack the island with no worries." Cyclone said.

Mu stared down at Cyclone, Mu's pupil shaking intensely.

Cyclone pulled out a note book and threw it at the elders without turning towards them. The elders looked down at the book and back up at Cyclone.

"What is this?" St Mars asked.

"All the skin walkers I've taken note of that lived during this time, their abilities, and weaknesses." Cyclone said.

Cyclone started walking towards the shadows.

"This world is only fit for the strong. The weak need to be killed off and disposed of." Cyclone said coldly.

St Topman had begun to go through the book and stumbled upon a certain skin walker, a blue bear.

"But there's one skin walker that's off limits." Cyclone said with a pause, "Jambavan. He's mine."

The elders looked up at Cyclone with anger, Mu started to walk down the steps.

Cyclone looked back at the elders with Ramu-Dan's eye active again.

"These eyes don't mistake your fears. There was a reason I appeared before you as a snake." Cyclone said.

There was total silence.

"Dont let this situation fool you. We are not friends." Cyclone said, disappearing in an instant.
