A/N: Surrrprise! Two chapters, one day. Let's just say, the creative juices were flowing and I had ideas to put down on paper before they disappeared from my brain.

Enjoy!

CHAPTER THREE: AANG

As I'm falling, I feel a type of weightlessness. I've only felt something like this once before, in the Spirit World. There, my body becomes light as a feather, my spirit detaches from my body and I can almost see myself in a transparent blue hue. I look at my hand, but it looks normal… No Spirit World, I guess.

As I look back from my hand, it happens so quickly but I'm on my feet and surrounded by the colors of red and black. I search around the room and rest my eyes on something that instills a sense of anxiety within me. I'm in a Fire Nation building that I've only really seen in my dreams.

At the center of the room, there is a throne enshrouded in fire. There's a person, too. I instinctively hide behind a pillar, and the doors of the throne room slam open.

"I've seen the colonies, Sozin! How dare you occupy Earth Kingdom territory!"

I know that voice, it's Roku! I almost come from behind the pillar and I realize, 'Wait, Sozin?' and I stop myself.

"How dare YOU, a citizen of the Fire Nation, address your Fire Lord this way?" I look up on the throne at the person who was there before Roku came in. I can see him clearly now, Roku has shown me visions of him before. It's Fire Lord Sozin, the predecessor to Ozai, and one the comet is named after. His voice sends chills down my spine.

"Your loyalty is to our Nation first, anything less makes you a traitor," says Sozin.

"Don't do this Sozin! Don't challenge me," pleads Roku, "It will only end badly. It's over." Roku turns his back and begins to leave, and I realize I'm not hiding anymore. Roku doesn't seem to see me though, nor do the guards or even Sozin himself. Before I'm fully aware of what I'm doing, I see Sozin leap from his throne, and send two strong blasts of fire at Roku. I leap in front of Roku, and I attempt to airbend the fire away.

Nothing happens. I see the fire coming, I feel the heat, and I throw my arms up to protect my face. The fire passes right through me, I can feel the heat, but it does not hurt. I turn and look for Roku, and he's gone, and there is a hole in the Earth where he stood. I hear a cry, and I turn back to Sozin, and I see Roku blast him with a shot of air. Sozin goes flying, right at me, and I'm not quite quick enough to dodge his body. I flinch, but feel nothing, again. I hear a thud, and see Sozin slam into the throne room doors. Roku walks toward him and right through me. He earthbends a tall pillar that catches Sozin's royal attire and hoists him high in the air.

I feel a great power building, one I know all too well. Roku enters the Avatar State, and sends a shockwave of air from where he's standing. He then bends a vortex of air to send him high up, to speak face to face with the Fire Lord.

"I am sparing you, Sozin. I am letting you go, in the name of our past friendship," Roku speaks with a deafening calmness to him, "But I warn you, even a single step out of line will result in your permanent end."

Roku comes back down, and that's the end of their fight it seems. I run up to Roku, and I say, "Roku! Roku! It's me, Aang!" But he can't seem to hear me. Before I can figure out why, I'm halted in my tracks and feel the sensation of the Avatar State coming on. I fall to my knees, I groan, and the glass underneath me breaks. I'm falling again, into a faint blue hue, with new knowledge and not the faintest idea of what it means.
