As Dean drove, Sam looked in old dusty books. The scent made Dean miss Cas.
"You know I think it's good that it's an omega having this nephilim, listen: Kelly was a beta, right? But the Queen of Shebas' mother was an omega, and if the record is right," he flipped a couple pages, " it says right here she lived through childbirth not for very long but- Kelly died- like right away. Cas said that Dagon said birthing nephilims is always fatal for the mother. I think we can save them both this time. If we figure out if it was just normal childbirth that killed the queens mother or if it was nephilim related or something else," he smiled naively. Dean nodded his head quietly relieved. "And I've been looking at her social media for a while and I haven't seen any post about being pregnant yet. But I'm guessing with Kelly's pregnancy gestation, this omega is about 10 or 11 weeks along now,"
"10-11 huh?" Dean hummed.
"She's probably showing a little and has symptoms,".
"You got that right," he uttered under his breath.
Sam pushed his lips and looked at his brother.
"So when are you going to tell me what's wrong with you?" Sam demanded more than asked.
" like I said: It's nothing," Dean kept his eyes on the road.
"You've been acting so... off. Are you sure you're okay? You can tell me anything, you know that,". Dean glanced at him and nodded, like hell he was going to tell him some of his biggest secrets.
They checked into their room. Dean relaxed on his bed and placed his hands on his belly. A habit he's suddenly picked up. He rubbed his belly, gently caressing it. A smile crept on his face.
"Hungry?" Sam raised his eyebrows. Dean quickly moved his hands to his side and sat up.
"Ah, yeah. Let's hit up the diner we passed," Dean stood up and adjusted his jacket. Sam suddenly grabbed Deans shirt and lifted it up.
"Are you sure you wanna eat? Don't think I haven't noticed this belly you've got," Sam playfully slapped his stomach. Dean panicked. He pulled down his shirt and got in Sams face.
"No matter how big I get- I could still kick your ass," he said with a smirk, "now let's go get some pie,". Sam smiled and nodded.
They ate dinner and came back to the room as the sun went down. Sam picked up a local paper and looked for any strange happenings. It was Deans turn to look into rumors and whispers on social media on Sams laptop. They spent the rest of the night in a quiet search for the nest.
