I'm really tired rn... got woken up by stupid peacocks... UGHHHHHH

As she and Frank entered the school, all eyes were on Hazel. But she didn't care as long as she was with Frank.

"Wow! that is a dress" Annabeth said. she was wearing a grey dress to compliment her eyes.

"Yeah, haha" Piper said. she had an iridescent dress on.

That... is fun as hell-" Reyna said. She was wearing a sweater(Thalia's by the way) over a short black(tight) dress. Probably for Thalia.

Thalia had the same thing, except her dress was dark blue, and she was wearing a Sweater that was Reyna's.

Some random party song came on and Thalia, Reyna, and pretty much everyone but Hazel and Frank went to the dance floor. Hazel and Frank stayed at a table in the back. They were left alone, and all Hazel wanted to do, was, honestly?

Well, what would you want to do if you were alone with a crush that had asked you out, and it was obvious that you liked each other? there's your answer.

Hazel was zapped back to reality when she realized Frank was talking.

"...when I asked you and you said yes, It felt like a dream."

Hazel was too embaressed to ask him to repeat his sentence, so she caught on from what he said.

"To- to be honest, Frank, I had been crushing on you for a while." She said.

Frank blushed. "Really?"

"Yeah, really."

They both looked at each other in a silence that seemed so loud. 'Lover' by Taylor Swift came on, and Frank asked, "would you like to dance?"

Hazel smiled. "Sure."

They made there way to the dance floor, and got into position.

"We could leave the Christmas lights up 'til January

And this is our place, we make the rules

And there's a dazzling haze, a mysterious way about you dear

Have I known you 20 seconds or 20 years?"

Hazel couldn't stop smiling. it really was perfect

"Can I go where you go?

Can we always be this close forever and ever?
And ah, take me out, and take me home
You're my, my, my, my"

Hazel was expecting to hear the next word when suddenly, the music stopped. People all around were upset, and all at once there was a lot of complaints.

On the stage, Someone was using the microphone. they had a fancy red dress, and curly black hair, a lot of make-up, and a cruel scowl.

Drew.

"Excuse me ladies & gents" her voice echoed. "for interrupting your dance and music. but answer me this. Who always has the fanciest dress?"

"Drew" pretty much everyone answered.

"and who had the fanciest dress tonight?"

"Hazel"

"It's just not right. The non-popular girl having the best dress?"

there were varied answers.

the "popular" girls answered "No!"

Students who didn't really have a good or bad reputation answered stuff like "I mean you're kind of being a bitch"

Hazel's friends answered stuff like "If it's not you! Hazel's awesome!"

And the "non-popular's" answered "I think it's completely right!" (in sync, that's why there not popular)

"OH MY GOD! Why would anyone answer other than No?"

"Because.."

everyone had there reasons shouted out.

"UGGGHHH I HATE YOU ALL! I'M LEAVING, THE ONLY COOL THING AT THIS PARTY. YOU COULD BEG ME TO STAY!"

Nobody begged her in the slightest.

So she left with her preppy stupid girl gang, and the music turned back on.

"Lover"

Hazel had spent the entire night dancing with Frank, and they were heading back(well, Frank was getting Hazel back to her house)

While they had been at prom, it had thundered. There's something 'bought the way the street looks when it's just rained, there's a glow of the pavement.

Frank walked me to the door. And he knows I wanna ask him to dance right there, on the front porch steps.(Did anyone get that? No?)

She noticed her hands were shaking. Frank held her hands and they suddenly stopped shaking. They looked at each other in a silent agreement.

They leaned in to each other, and when there lips met, time stopped. It felt like it literally stopped. They pulled away, blushing.

"See you tomorrow?"

"See you tomorrow."

Hazel said goodbye to Frank and went inside with a wide grin on her face. Nobody else was awake(or so she thinks) because it's 1:00 am. I go to my room and take of my heels, let down my hair, and took of my gloves. I put them away in my closet. I slipped out of my dress leaving me in a slip (If you don't know what that is look up dress slip) and I changed into a silk night gown. I got into bed and almost went to sleep, when I hear shuffling outside my door. I creep out quietly to find Nico in the dining room talking to some guy I didn't know. I made sure I was hidden but listened in on there conversation.

"Make sure you're quiet, Hazel got back a little bit ago... It didn't sound like she had a bad time, though. She was talking to me about how her crush had asked her to the dance yesterday. But tomorrow-"

"Later today" the guy corrected

"Later today, I'll have to check and make sure that Frank treated her right. Because if he broke her heart, I'll break every bone in his body."

"That's- No, that's not good Nico. Because then I'd have to deal with that."

"Well he'd be dead."

"Don't kill anyone either, Nico."

"You ruin all my fun, Will!"

"Would you actually kill him?"

"Nahhh not unless Hazel told me to."

"You are a loyal brother."

"Yes I am! If she told me to I'd kill anyone. Except you, I guess. But if you were there you would just get your medical shit out and fix people."

"It isn't that easy!"

"Yeah, I guess."

Hazel zoned out when they started talking about medical stuff. after a little bit she snuck back to her room and fell asleep.

She woke up to the smell of breakfast, so she quickly got dressed and went out of her room. She saw Nico at the table and went and said hi, got breakfast and went out to the bus. She got on and went over to Frank.

"Hey, Hazel."

"Hey, Frank."

even if it was the same interaction of the last day, it meant so much more today. On the other side of the bus, Drew was looking as sweet as she could look.

"Frank, why would you dance with Hazel? I'm so much better!" Drew exclaimed.

"Um, maybe because Hazel is nice? Unlike you." he replied

"How am I not nice? How is Hazel nice?"

"Maybe it's my opinion because I like her-" Hazel blushed at hearing Frank say that. "-Or maybe Hazel is just a bajillion times nicer than you."

Hazel smirked. she didn't like Drew, but she liked seeing her flustered face as she tried to find words.

They arrived at school, and walked in holding hands. they walked each other to their classes, and they sat at lunch together. her friends asked millions of questions they already knew the answer to.

This went on for a few more days until Hazel had thought about one singular question so much she had to ask Frank. One day while they were heading to lunch, Hazel asked it.

"Are we a couple, Frank?"

"Uh- Yeah, if you want to be."

"Good. Are you ready to meet Nico?"

"Uhhhhhhhh as long as he doesn't hurt me, to be honest I'm a little scared."

"Yeah. Uh, how about tomorrow if you can? after school."

"Yeah. ok."
