Sam was in the library researching a fellow hunters case. It was a spirit- a ghost. An angry one too. Angry enough to leave ectoplasm behind at the crime scenes. He looked up the area for any murders or tragic deaths. He had a lead on a few, but none of them fit the bill 100%. He yawned and looked at his watch. It was 11:24 at night. He closed his laptop, assuring himself that fresh eyes would help. As he walked to his room he passed Deans room. Out of habit he looked in. Dean was at his desk reading up on the same case. Sam cleared his throat. Dean turned his head but kept his eyes on his laptop.
"You should be in bed already,". Dean shrugged.
"Did you find anything," he practically ignored Sam. Sam sighed and shook his head.
"No. I'm going to look again in the morning," he yawned again. Dean waved to him.
"Night, wuss,". Sam smiled and started walking to his room. He was just past the corner when he heard Dean shout.
"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?"
Sam turned around, not in a rush. He assumed it was a big flying by him or some kind of computer glitch. He looked into the room to see him standing up, holding and looking at his belly. Sams breath hitched in his throat. He quickly ran to his brothers side and hovered his hands over him. A sleepy Jack came into the room.
"What's going on?" He asked while rubbing the sleep from his eye.
"It- it-" Dean struggled to speak. Sam grabbed his shoulder and placed a hand on Deans belly.
"What? What's going on?"
Then Sam felt it. He screamed like a child.
Deans skin moved from under his hand. He jerked away putting his hands up in the air.
"Dude- you felt that- right?" Dean asked his brother. Sam nodded furiously.
"Holy-" Deans shocked expression turned into an excited smile. Sam relaxed as Dean excitedly looked at his belly.
"It moved?" Jack asked, now more awake.
"It's moving," Dean reached and grabbed Jacks wrist and pulled him in. Jack put his hand on his belly and felt it move.
"Is that bad?" Jack worried.
"No- it's- it's great," Sam smiled. Dean started to purr uncontrollably. He covered his mouth but continued to purr. Sam didn't want to laugh at him, but did let out a chuckle. Dean pushed the two out of his room as he purred and slammed the door behind them. Sam listened in for a little bit- listening to his brother purr and coo.
