As Ash and Nidoran continue their journey to Vidrain City they come across a wild Bellsprout.
"Nidoran look!" Ash said excitedly as he pulled out his pokedex.
[Bellsprout, the Flower Pokemon. A grass and poison type. It prefers hot and humid places. It ensnares tiny insects with vines and devours them.] The Pokedex said.
"Excellent here is my chance to catch my first poison-type Pokemon!" Ash said excitedly as he threw a Pokeball at Bellsprout.
"Bell," The Bellsprout said as it used one of its leaves to smack the Pokeball away.
"Huh?"Ash questioned confused.
[To capture a Pokemon you must first weaken the pokemon in battle.] The pokedex explained.
Nidoran shook his head and chuckled at Ash's behavior.
"So I made a mistake and forgot not funny Nidoran," Ash muttered."Let's do this again and right this time. Nidoran use Tackle!"
"Nido!" Nidoran cried out as it rushed towards Bellsprout.
"Bellsprout!" Bellsprout cried out as it smacked Nidoran sending him sliding back.
"Nidoran again Tackle!" Ash commanded.
"Nidoran!" Nidoran cried out as it once as it rushed toward Bellsprout.
"Bell!" Bellsprout cried as it used Vine Whip again, but Nidoran quickly moved out of the way and slammed into Bellsprout knocking it back.
"That's it Nidoran!" Ash cheered."Now Pokeball go!" He said turning his hat backwards as he threw a Pokeball at Bellsprout.
The Pokeball connects with Bellsprout as it is sucked on inside by a red beam of light. The Pokeball shook around a few times with a red light flicking on the center before it clicked signaling that Bellsprout was successfully captured.
"I captured Bellsprout!" Ash exclaimed as he grabbed he ran over and picked up the Pokeball posing happily about his first capture.
"Nidoran," Nidoran cried out but wasn't as excited as Ash was about the new capture.
"Ah don't be that way Nidoran," Ash said putting the Pokeball containing his new capture Bellsprout on his belt."I know Professor Oak said you don't do well with other Pokemon but you must be a little happy to have a new friend on the team.
"Nido," Nidroan said with a slight indication that maybe he was a little bit happy to have a new teammate in Bellsprout.
"Thought so buddy," Ash said."Let's go Viridian City awaits us!" He exclaimed as he rushed towards the hill leading to Viridian City.
As Ash and Nidoran finally arrived in Viridian City. The voice of Officer Jenny was heard on the speakers.
"Attention citizens of Viridian City an aircraft belonging to a gang of Pokemon thieves has been spotted in the area. Be on the lookout for suspicious-looking-" Officer Jenny's voice then suddenly cut off.
Ash was continuing his way through the street of Viridian City until Officer Jenny pulled on the back of his bag stopping him in his tracks.
"Just where do you think you're going with that pokemon young man?" She asked looking at Nidoran.
"This is my pokemon and im taking him to the Pokemon Center to get healed along with my other Pokemon," Ash said looking at Nidoran in his arms.
"Oh, my bad, " Officer Jenny said kneeling and looking at Nidoran."I thought you might be stealing him. Now just show me your I.D. and you're free to go." She said.
"Huh?" Ash questioned before ge recalled what Professor Oak told him about the Pokedex."Oh my Pokdex here you go, Officer, " He said using one of his hands from his pocket and handing it to Officer Jenny.
"Let's see if you're the real deal," Officer Jenny said opening the Pokedex and pushing a button.
[I'm Dexter a Pokedex programmed by Professor Oak for Pokemon trainer Ash Ketchum from the town of Pallet. My function is to provide Ash with information and advice regarding Pokemon and their trainer, but if lost or stolen I can't be replaced.]
"Can I take Nidoran to the Pokemon Center now?" Ash asked.
"Yes, it's just up ahead and is the large building with the red roof, "Officer Jenny said giving Ash back his Pokedex.
"Thank you," Ash said as he started making his way to the Pokemon Center.
Ash finally came across the large building with the red roof and nurse symbol on it.
"That is huge," Ash said impressed by the size of the Pokemon Center.
He walked on inside the Pokemon Center and walked over to the front desk to see ot was empty.
"Hello is someone here?" He asked."My Pokemon needs treatment.
"Nurse Joy is in the back at the moment treating my Pokemon," A feminine voice replied from behind Ash.
Ash turned around to see a girl older them him with long red hair and bangs touching her forehead. That had eyes as blue as Sapphire. She was wearing a wearing white short sleeve with a long sleeve black undershirt and a ribbon pattern on her shirt. She also had on a black leather sleeveless jacket with blue yoga pants and black knee-high boots. To finish off the outfit she had green earrings.
"So she taking care of your pokemon?"
"Yeah, but she should be done soon," She replied.
The moment she said that there was a ding from the backroom as the light with off the door and Nurse Joy came out with Chansey and a small stretcher with two Pokemon on it. The first was a small purple snake and the other was an adorable fluffy bundle of brown fur.
"Jessica Fylnn both your Ekans and Eevee are doing better," Nurse Joy said as Ekans slithered around Jessie's neck and Eevee jumped onto her head.
"Thank you," Jessie said walking away from the desk."Bye," She said walking off and giving Ash a brief nod before she was out of the side.
Ash watched her go but couldn't help but be curious about her Ekans who he knew was a poison type by the look of it.
"Hello, how can I help you?" Nurse Joy asked.
"Nurse please heal my Pokemon," He said giving her Nidoran and his Pokeball containing Bellsprout.
"Let it to me your Pokemon will be fine just wait in the waiting area feel free to use the phone if you need to," Nurse Joy said as she put Nidroan and Bellsprout's Pokeball on the tray on the stretcher and headed towards the back.

Well, here we go the third chapter of my new Pokémon story with Ash being a Posion-type master. In this chapter Ash arrives at Viridian City and meets Jessie instead of Misty since Nidoran is difficult like Pikachu he catches a Bellsprout and doesn't need Misty's bike so they never meet. Since Jessie is not in Team Rocket for a reason I will explain the Team Rocket encounter will be different. Next chapter we will deal with Team Rocket and you will see what I have planned. Once again since this is my first story of writing Ash as a Pokemon trainer specializing in one type so feel free to let me know in the comments what you think as the story goes on.
