The girls snickered as they read the cake. Dean's eye twitched in annoyance.

"It was Jack's choice. I had nothing to do with it," Dean defended himself.

"I can tell," Jody laughed.

Donna tried to hide her smile.

"It's nice though!"

"Very appropriate," Claire smirked.

"It's adorable! I love the little twist on the rhyme!" Rowena fawned over the cake. He rolled his eyes and opened the first gift, Charlies'.

"Now this is a thinker-" she warned before Dean pulled it out. It was a jumper that said "I was going to tell you a sodium joke but Na,". Sam chuckled.

"I get it,".

"I get it too," Dean seemed unamused, "it's lame,".

"Be nice," Sam scolded.

"Get it- because it's salt and you're hunters," Charlie waited for a roar of laughter that would never come.

Next gift was Bobby's second gift. Dean opened it to something that looked like a gun case.

"Please tell me you got me a gun," Dean smiled excitedly.

"Not you- your pup," Bobby gestured to him to open it. Dean opened it to a gun. It looked like a beat up Remington model 1863 gun and six bullets to go with it.

"In our world- a kid's first gun was able to kill angels. I don't think this pup should have it different,".

"Dear god," Sam shook his head.

"I like the way you think," Dean smiled widely.

Garth's gift was a classic. It was Mr. Frizzles with a note saying "you're going to need this more than me now," Sam and Dean both smiled at the old sock friend.

All of Rowena's gifts were potions. Some were ointments to help with healing after the birth, some mint smelling liquid to put the pup to sleep. But, one of them stuck out. It was a baby rattle. It was strange. It looked store bought and brand new but it wasn't in a package. And the rattling sounded off. Dean glared at the omega.

"What is it?" Rowena shrugged and folded her arms.

"A protection spell. Every time it's shaken the babe will be protected," Dean didn't protest too much after that.

Donna bought a hand made winter onesie for him with a matching hat. Jody got him diapers and a 'manly' diaper bag to go with it. Alex was normal and got some newborn clothes and some bigger ones that were all gender neutral and Claire gave him the softest plush elephant an omega could want.

Crowley handed Dean a whistle tied to a string. Dean immediately put it around his neck. Crowley had come to him before and explained his gift. This whistle would alert Crowley to Dean. He made it clear it was for when he was ready to become mates. Dean didn't want it but he knew if he was in a bind he might be able to call the demon as back up.

"Alright. That's everything! Ready for the cake?" Jack smiled.

"It's a gender reveal cake right? I can't wait," Garth spoke excitedly.

"Let's see!" Donna clapped her hands. Sam handed Dean the knife.

"You have the honor," He smiled at his brother. Dean cut into it once. His head started to worry again.

What if it is a girl? How would he raise it? He only used girls. He's never been a father, let alone a father to a girl. What about periods? Sex? Bras? He knew nothing about that stuff. Well, not what is appropriate to tell a child. He shook his head and he cut a second time into it. He knew in his heart it was a boy. He slid the knife under the cake and pulled out the piece he cut. It was pink frosting and a pink spongy cake. Everyone but Sam and Dean cheered. They congratulated him as he sat there unable to move. Jack moved closer to him.

"I read on the paper it was a girl. I knew you would be surprised when you were hoping for a boy," Jack smiled.

"Yeah. Surprised," The color drains from Dean's face. Luckily Charlie noticed. She looked at the other women but they didn't seem to catch on that something was wrong. She cleared her throat and spoke up.

"Dean- don't worry! I'll help you raise her!" She looked at the other women while saying this. They looked at her curious and then to Dean. They realized that he wasn't doing so well with the reveal.

"Oh, yeah! Donna and I will help you too! We can handle the girly stuff. Most of it anyways," she nodded. The younger two of the girls understood what was going on but didn't say anything.

"Oh- don't worry Deany. I've got you," Rowena stroked his head and comforted him. Dean looked around him at the women. He would be doing most of the heavy lifting but they would definitely help where he needed it. He let out a sigh.

"Thanks," he said with a soft smile.

"Am I late?"

Everyone looked up, not recalling hearing anyone entering, and Dean definitely not remembering inviting anyone else.

It was Chuck.
