After leaving his Nidoran and Bellsprout with Nurse Joy. Ash decides to head over to the video phones and give his mom Delia a call.
The phone rang for a couple of minutes until his mother's voice was heard from the other end.
"Hello, this is the Ketchum Residences," She said.
"Hello, mom?" Ash said.
"Oh," Delia said."Oh, hi honey is everything okay?" She asked as the phone changed from voice only and now Delia's face was on the screen.
"Where are you, Ash?" Delia asked.
"The Pokemon Center in Viridian City, " Ash replied.
"Wow, you're already in Viridain City?" Delia asked with excitement."It took your father four days to get there when he started his Pokemon training," Delia stated."Oh, he'll be so proud. You're the apple of his eye."
"More like spoiled apple barely managed to capture a Bellsprout, " Ash muttered recalling his mistake of not weakening the Pokemon first.
"Oh, Ash, don't get discouraged. You're journey just began you are doing fine, " Deila said"Hone you growing up before my eyes and spreading your wings like a soaring Spearow, and will continue to grow once you meet up with that mentor Professor Oak got you."
"I guess so."
"Ash no doubting yourself I won't allow it and neither would your father, understand?" Deila asked.
"Yes, I understand," Ash replied."Speaking of father have you heard from him recently?" He asked.
"Ah you know that father of yours always training out somewhere, but yes he did call wondering if you got your first Pokemon and apologizes for not being here," Deila replied.
"I'm glad he didn't forget."
"Now Ash have you been changing your underwear every day?" Deila asked.
"Mom, it's not a new day yet, but I will change them," Ash replied.
"Good now good night son. I love you," Deila said waving bye.
"I love you too bye," Ash said hanging up the phone.
"Wow, your mom is something," A voice said from behind Ash.
He turned around to see Jessie stareing at him deeply.
"Seriously she reminding you to change underwear," Jessie commented.
"Ah, " Ash said bushing in embarrassment.
He turned away trying to avoid Jessie's questioning gaze when noticed the picture of four different Pokemon.
"Hey, " Ash said walking over to the picture."Wow," He said.
Ring, Ring, Ring, Phone call, Ring, Ring, Phone call!
Ash glanced at the computer ringing and pressed a button answering the call as a sign-reading voice only appeared on the screen.
"Uh, this Ash. Who's calling?" He said.
"Here, I'm over here, " A familiar voice said as Ash turned around to see the picture on the screen slid down to reveal the back of Professor Oak's head.
"Ash, it's Professor Oak, "Professor Oak said."Don't you recognize me?" He asked.
"No, Professor, I didn't recognize the back of your head, " Ash replied.
Eh?" Professor Oak said turning around."Oops, wrong camera, " He said quickly switching the camera around so he was looking face-to-face with Ash.
"There. Ahem. I just spoke to your mother and she tells me you've made it to the Pokemon Center in Viridian City," Professor Oak said. "Is that correct?"
"I couldn't be talking to you if I wasn't here."
"You couldn't be talking if you-- Oh, I see. I failed the Pokemon Center in Viridian City and you were able to answer."
"Yeah, because that's where I am."
Professor Oak nodded. "Mm-hmm. I suppose that proves it."
"Yeah?" Ash questioned confused.
"The other new Pokemon trainers made it there with no problem, and I'm pleasantly impressed you got there so soon, " He said, "I admit when you left, I had my doubts that you could work with Nidoran but it seems that it hasn't been much trouble with its behavior, but you know when my grandson Gary said that you wouldn't have a single new Pokemon by the time you got to Viridian City, I bet him a million dollars that he'd be wrong."
"Well, I guess you win I did manage to catch a Bellsprout, " Ash replied.
"Oh so you managed to get yourself a new Poison-type to the team," Professor Oak said."That excellent. "
"By the way, I did see a flying Pokemon like that," Ash said pointing to the picture of a bird with three feathers on its head."There was another one with a strange skull head going in another direction."
"Don't talk such nonsense. You couldn't have seen that Pokemon," Professor Oak said."Trainers have searched their whole lives and never seen it. However, that other one is possible you saw a Pokemon from the Sogno which reminds me I didn't update your Pokedex with the information given to Ophelia from there, please place the Pokede in the computer slot on the side so I can."
"Okay," Ash said placing his Pokedex in there.
Professor Oak then started working on his computer transferring the update to Ash Pokedex.
"The update is completed now you can get information on her Pokemon and on anyone else who might have come to Kanto from her region for a journey, " Professor Oak said.
"So she just in Viridain Forest?"
"Yes that's what she sent in a message when I contacted and trust me she has a lot she can teach you," Professor Oak said before the doorbell rang."Ah, there's my pizza, coming. Nice talking to you and good luck," He said ending the call.
"Now that was even stranger," Jessie said walking over to Ash with Eevee in her arms.
"Ah, you still here," Ash commented.
"Yeah decided to stay and eat plus it was late so I got a room here for the night," Jessie replied.
"Oh."
Nurse Joy then came from the exam room with Nidoran and Bellsprout both on the stretcher with Chansey's assistance.
"Your Nidoran and Bellspprout are doing great, and are resting, " Nurse Joy said.
"That's the beauty of Pokemon centers," Jessie said stroking Eevee.
"Your attention, please. Our Viridian City radar sensors have detected an aircraft belonging to a gang of Pokemon thieves. If you have a Pokemon in your possession, exercise extreme caution."
A loud crash was heard as smoke filled the building.
"What are...? Who are they?" Ash asked.
"There is no need to be frightened young boy, " A feminine voice said.
"Why don't you allow us to introduce ourselves, " A male voice replied.
"To protect the world from devastation.." The feminine voice said as it revealed a woman with pink hair.
"To unite all people within our nation..." The male voice said revealing a man with green hair.
"To denounce the evils of truth and love."
"To extend our reach to the stars above..."
"Bonnie."
"Cylde."
"Team, rocket, blast off at the speed of light."
"Surrender now or prepare to fight."
"Mankey!"
A Mankey then appeared in front of the two humans.
"What are you talking about?" Ash asked.
"They are pokemon thieves," Jessie stated.
"Hey doesn't get it, but the girl does," Bonnie replied.
"Well, how can I? Your words don't make any sense," Ash commented.
"Well not wrong the words do sound more like a speech to protect," Jessie agreed.
"Eevee!"
"Well, we're here for the Pokemon," Cylde said.
"You're not taking Nidoran or Bellsprout!" Ash shouted.
"Oh, we don't want your precious Nidoran or Bellsprout," James said.
"We seek only rare and valuable Pokemon," Cylde said."That Eevee fits that category by being capable of multiple evolutions."
"That not happening Eevee mine," Jessie snapped.
"We see about that little girl, " Bonnie said.
"You are starting to bug me," Ash commented.
"Ah, how cute the boy's bugged."
"They let step on him and squash him, Bonnie."
"Mankey!"
"Zubat, Haze, " Cylde command as black smoke filled the room.
"Sandshrew, go!"
Nurse Joy, Ash, and Jessie ran off as they safely entered a room full of Pokeballs. How the light soon went out.
"They must be cut the power," Jessie said.
"But we've got our own pika power source," Nurse Joy said as a bunch of Pikachu cried out as they used electricity to restore the power.
"That's a lot of Pikachu," Jessie said.
"A crisis situation has arisen. Initiating emergency Pokeball transport sequence."
"We have to save those Pokeballs," Nurse Joy said as a mechanical claw grabbed a Pokeball."This is the Viridian City Pokemon Center. We have an emergency. Transporting Pokeballs. "
"This is the Pewter City Pokemon Center. Downloader activated. Ready to receive Pokemo n."
The door was then crashed open as Zubat and Sandshrew busted into the room.
"Oh no, the Pokeball!" Nurse Joy shouted.
"Uh, right, " Ash said picking it up.
"Come on this is a battle fight," Jessie said."Are leave it to me and get Eevee and your two Pokemon out of here," She said throwing a Pokeball and sending out her Ekans."
"That pipsqueak won't do anything," Cylde mocked.
"We take you down," Jessie said.
"Big talk coming from a little lady," Bonnie said.
"Yeah, a bit familiar tone have we met before?" Cylde questioned.
"Who to say the world large maybe we have or haven't, " Jessie replied.
"That tone it's ah," Bonnie said eyes lighting up."You are that girl from a year ago with the Ekans we ran into. "
"What you met them?" Ash asked.
"Not important go and keep Eevee safe, " Jessie said putting Eevee on the stretcher next to Nidoran and Bellsprout.
"Right, I won't let anything happen to Eevee," Ash said running out of the room with the stretcher.
Zubat and Sandshrew followed him and Sandshrew tackled him causing him nearly to tip over the stretcher.
"Ugh, " Ash groaned balancing the stretcher on its wheels.
"Eevee, "Eevee cried out sitting up and shaking off his bandages.
"Nidoran, " Nidoran cried looking at Eevee.
"Eevee!" Eevee cried out loudly as he shook his tail and a bunch of golden stars were fried at Zubat, Sandshrew, Bonnie, Clyde, and Mankey sending them flying off the Pokemon Center.
"Excellent job Eevee," Jessie said rushing over to grab Eevee. "My bad about the door," She said looking at the broken front door.
"The important thing is the Pokemon are safe you should get some rest before setting off tomorrow," Nurse Joy said.
"Well then see you tomorrow if you are up when I head up," Jessie said holding Eevee.
"Hey maybe we can travel together, " Ash said holding out his hand.
"I think that could be fun Ash, " Jessie said shifting Eevee in one arm and shaking his hand before heading off to bed for the evening.

Well, here we go the fourth chapter of my new Pokémon story with Ash being a Posion-type master. In this chapter Ash, and Jessie encounter the new Team Rocket that feel would have been made if Ash was a Pison-type trainer which I believe could have made a friendship with a younger Jessie. So the Team Rocket characters would have been different or just Cassidy and Butch with Eevee saving the day. Next chapter he will meet his mentor. I hope you all enjoy reading this chapter.
