Rowena's determined face turned softer. Donna looked down. She smiled. Rowena after a small snipping sound she pulled the small bloody thing out and wrapped it up in the coat. The little pup was quiet.

"Wh- why isn't it crying?" Cas was confused, "I thought babies cried,". Rowena rubbed the pups chest and whispered for her to make a sound. Suddenly the pup made a tiny whimper, then started to bawl. Rowena, Cas, and Donna release their tention. Rowena hushed it as it cried. She pulled back and stood up and showed it off. It was a tiny pup. An actual pup. A tiny human. Cas looked at it in astonishment. He had only seen pups a few times but to actually witness a live birth was amazing. He turned to Dean but Dean's eyes were shut and he was breathing heavily with his mouth slightly open.

"Dean?" Cas touched his jaw.

"Shush, Cas. He's resting," Donna smiled. Cas gave Dean a worried look but went back to the pup. Rowena looked at it gently.

"It's a girl, a tiny little girl," she passed the girl to Donna, who gently brushed the blood off of her nose.

"Hey little one," she smiled. Rowena tied off the cord and cut it. Free to move around and without thinking she walked over to Cas. She started to give it to Cas when she realized that it wasn't a good idea. But it was too late. Cas had taken the little girl in his arms. Donna looked back at older woman wondered if she was going to be wrong about an alphas instinct.

Cas looked at the pup. Her eyes were closed and her mouth was slightly open. He looked at it curiously. He wasn't sure what to do.

"Ah… hello," his voice was too loud and the pup scrunched up her face.

"You… you're too loud. You need to whisper," Rowena warned.

"Why would I need to whisper?" He asked while looking at Rowena. Rowena scowled.

"She was just born. It's too much to be talking so loudly,". Cas looked back at the pup. This time her eyes were open. They were squinting. She looked angry. Cas smiled. She looked exactly like Dean when he was annoyed.

"Sorry- Ah, pup," he noticed her eyes were a light green. They were so bright. Cas sniffed the pup. He could smell Dean under the blood. It was mixed with another scent. It was a scent he only smelled when he didn't shower… it was his own scent. "You smell like me," Rowena and Donna looked at each other, terrified. Donna started to go over but Rowena stopped her. She put her finger to her lips, telling Donna to hush.

Cas looked at the pup again, but this time he smelled her closer. She had dark but thin hair, light and bright green eyes. Her skin was pale and soft under the blood. She smelled like both him and Dean. He sniffed himself then her, then Dean then back to her. "Why do you smell like me?" He asked the pup. Rowena bit her lip and watched anxiously. Suddenly Cas instinct kicked in. He scented her. He scented the pup. Rowen let out a sigh with a smile, touching her relieved heart. After rubbing on the child he pulled away. He was even more confused. "Why did I do that?" The pup was more awake now. Her eyes were wide open and looking at him. She didn't look anywhere else. Just at him. Cas looked at the other omegas. "Why does it smell like me?" He asked. Rowena wanted to give him a vague answer to help him along but didn't say anything. Neither did Donna. Cas looked back at the pup. He touched her nose with his nose. The pup squeaked and her eyes lit up. Literally. Cas froze and pulled back. Her eyes flashed with light. Just for a moment, but he knew he saw it. "The nephilim," he whispered. Donna was ready to rip the pup away from him if he tried anything. But he didn't. Cas looked at the sleeping omega. "Dean was carrying the nephilim?" Cas looked around as dots started connecting. "But… but… who was he with? I thought I was the only angel-" his eyes slowly opened wide. He looked at the pup again. Then at Dean. "Dean… and I… we…" he turned to the nephilim, "we made a life. We have a pup together," he paused, "I'm the sire. I'm… a father," he looked like he was about to faint. Donna got ready to pull the pup away but this time in fear that he was going to pass out. But he didn't. He looked down at the pup again. "I'm a father," he said with a smile on his face. Rowena sighed quietly. "I'm your sire. I'm your father," Cas spoke quietly to the pup. Rowena grabbed Donnas hand and pulled her. "Let's go get some towels and warm water to wash the babe,". Donna hesitated but followed her.

Cas mumbled over and over again that he was her parent. After a few minutes Cas heard Dean.

"Cas?" He turned to look at him. Dean's eyes were opening. He looked like he was in pain. He looked around for a moment while blinking. Cas smiled.

"Dean, you did it,". He looked back down at his pup. Cas moved over to him. He cupped Dean's cheek. Dean leaned into his hand. Cas pulled away and put his forehead on Deans and started to cry. "You should have told me Dean. You should have told me we were having my pup. I wish you told me,". He was so sad he wasn't there for him. That he threatened to kill their pup. He was so sorry.

"Cas?!" Dean seemed more alert. Cas pulled away and looked at Dean. "Is it okay? Why is it covered in blood?" Dean had thought the worst had happened. The little pup stirred from her dams loud outburst.

"It's your blood Dean," Cas sniffed the pup again. "Don't worry," he wiped away his tears, "I'm not going to kill her,".

"You're… you're not?" Dean asked.

"No. She's my pup. If I knew she was mine… I… I could never kill our pup. I love her. I love her so much,". Cas wiped away the tears that fell on the pup's face. Dean relaxed a little before realizing he just gave birth and doesn't remember it. He started to panic again.

"Wh- what happened?! The last thing I remember was Chuck and Sam… and it was the party… Sam ordered me to take that deal,". Cas wanted to say he was glad that he took the deal but chose to remain quiet. "What happened?"

"From what I understand, you went feral and started going into labor. Donna called me here and you gave birth,". Suddenly the infirmary door swung open. It was Sam. He looked straight at Cas.

"G-" before he could speak, Cas spoke.

"It's my pup," he smiled through his tears. "We have a pup," he put his forehead on hers. "I love her," he looked at Sam, " I'm going to protect her with my life," Sam stopped.

"What?"

"Why didn't you two tell me she was mine?" He asked. Sam and Dean looked at each other.

"I didn't want you to kill it,". Dean answered.

"I wouldn't have killed our pup," Cas shook his head. Sam snarled.

"You told me that you would kill the nephilim even if it was your pup, remember?" Sam wasn't happy. Cas thought for a moment. The memory popped up. He sighed.

"I wasn't thinking about that. I was only focused on not bringing another nephilim to life. But now that I see it's my and Dean's daughter- I could never kill her,". Sam glared at him. Dean sighed.

Sam walked over to Cas and looked at the pup. He gave her a slight smile. As much as Cas didn't want to let her go, he handed her to Sam. He was hesitant and kind of worried to take her but as soon as she was in his arms he melted. He fell in love with his niece.

"Hello, hello, hello," he spoke in a quiet goofy voice. "Who are you? Who are you?" Dean smiled. He bounced and walked around while holding the pup.
