Part 1

In Delphic Expanse, Garth Ranzz was enjoying a gin tonic when he was rudely interrupted by the intercom system. "Captain, please report to the bridge."

Garth met with his sister, Ayala who was presiding over the bridge. "We've lost their warp trail," she reported.

"Well...shit," Garth muttered. "Continue scanning. We know what we're looking for. It shouldn't be too difficult to find."

"We've been searching for weeks, Garth. Just...let it go," Ayala advised.

"We'll continue searching until we've accomplished our mission," Garth insisted.

"You've seen how fucked up this place is. What are the chances they survived?" Ayala questioned. "We should head back to Winath while we still can."

"You, afraid?" Garth mocked. "Don't underestimate these Insane. They're still out there."

The Winathian cruiser continued its search through the expanse with the USS Nemo as its target.

On the Nemo, Mon, Imra, and Laurel were in the situation room. "I've detected a signal consistent with the attack on Earth," Laurel said.

"Set a course for it," Mon ordered. He then turned to Imra. "Make sure Eltro keeps the engines operating at maximum warp."

"I've taken the liberty of creating a map of the anomalies. The path forward is extremely dense with them," Imra warned.

"How long to go around them?" Mon asked.

"Seventeen days at Warp 5," she replied.

"Fawk," Mon sighed. "We're going through them. I expect you to be able to shield ship with a telekinetic shield."

The Nemo went through the anomaly field with Imra creating a telekinetic bubble around the ship. Despite her best efforts, the ship's engines were compromised, the computers shut down, and showers of sparks were present all over the ship. "Shit, this might have been a bad idea," Mon said dryly.

"We're caught in a tractor beam," Dax reported.

"Who the fuck?" Mon wondered.

The view screen showed Garth's face. "Prince Mon-El, look at the trouble you've gotten your Insane self into this time," he mocked.

Not long afterward, Garth came aboard the ship and had a talk with Mon and Imra. "You're braver than I imagine, traveling through the expanse in this piece-of-shit boat," Garth said insultingly.

"You don't seem to be having any trouble," Mon noted.

"We have a few tricks of our own to deal with them," Garth said vaguely.

"Alright, keep your secrets," Mon mocked.

"How did you find us?" Imra asked.

"We have a record of your warp signature from our previous encounters. Our ship is considerably faster than yours. It wasn't hard to catch up," Garth said.

"Why are you here?" Mon questioned.

"We're here to assist you after your attack, embarrass the Titans, and peel yourselves away from them to us," Garth said bluntly.

"And how are you aware of the attack? Monitoring communications between Titan High Command and Earth?" Imra asked accusingly.

"No shit," Garth stared her down. "Rumor has it, you don't have authorization to be here."

"I was impressed into service...again by these Insane men," Imra said resentfully.

"The Insane welcome your assistance. Fix up my ship," Mon ordered Garth.

As the Winathian shuttle arrived from the cruiser, Mon had a meeting with his officers in the conference room. "All of our weapon systems are down. Our torpedos could explode at any moment," Ol reported.

"Garth's tactical officer will fix your shit," Mon told him.

"That will give them insight into our critical systems," Ol objected.

"The Poseidon-class sub has obsolete technology in every category except one: the cloak. So, it doesn't matter what they examine or extract from us. Also, if they try to fuck with us, I'll be paying their empire a visit once I'm done with the Harvesters," Mon said.

"Nonetheless, I advise we place a security detail to watch their every move while on the ship. They're immune to my telepathy," Imra said.

"I'm actually hoping they fuck with us. It makes things more interesting which is why there will be no security detail. We'll lure them into a false sense of security and see if they betray our trust," Mon smiled.

"My experience with the Winathians is that they can't be trusted. They will fuck us over when we least expect," Imra warned.

"This drama between Titans and Winathians doesn't pertain to the Insane," Mon said dismissively.

"They're duplicitous. They will only honor their agreements so long as it is in their best interest," Imra pressed.

"I can relate to that," Mon nodded.

"They're not trustworthy," Imra concluded.

"We will keep them on camera surveillance but give them room to work," Mon ruled.

At the mess hall, Eltro and Ol were about to stuff their faces when Ayala interrupted. "Which one of you losers is Lieutenant Ol?" she asked disrespectfully.

"Bitch, what's your deal?" Ol demanded.

"I expected to see you in the armory, not wasting time here," she said disdainfully.

"I'm getting lunch so you can fuck off. That also includes periods when I take a shit," Ol told her off.

"I've been ordered to assist you," Ayala said flatly.

"I'll be sure to find something for you to do," Ol said and then considered a list of undesirable tasks.

"I work on my own schedule. Believe me, I'd rather not be on this piece-of-shit boat longer than necessary," Ayala told him.

"It will be a pleasure working with you," Eltro smirked.

While the slaves toiled away fixing the ship, Mon and Garth had dinner together. "Under the circumstances, I wasn't sure we'd find you alive. That gives us reason to celebrate," he said as he opened a bottle of Winathian ale.

"A drinking contest while we're both out here in the middle of nowhere surrounded by enemies is the Insane way," Mon approved.

"To swift victory," Garth toasted as they drank a shot each.

"How did you get picked for this assignment?" Mon asked curiously.

"Well, shit, I'm the only commander in the fleet that has ever seen any action with aliens," Garth said.

"Good point," Mon nodded.

"You assisted us greatly in confirming our suspicions about the Titan surveillance outpost and averting a full-scale war between my people and the Titans," Garth brought up.

"We keep doing each other favors," Mon mused. "Shall we...jerk each other off next?"

"Isn't that how alliances are born?" Garth asked rhetorically.

"Here, here," Mon agreed.

Imra and Eltro met up in the engineering room. "I haven't seen you in a while. As long as you're here, can you give me a hand job? Touch my sperm regulator...here while I touch your polarity," Eltro said.

"And you wonder why I avoid you," Imra rolled her eyes.

"Naked massages three to four times a week is hardly avoiding me," Eltro pointed out.

"The captain wants an update on the repairs," Imra said changing the subject.

"Engine is fucked," Eltro said obviously.

"How long until we have warp?" Imra demanded.

"Two days...probably, maybe," Eltro shrugged. "But those sparkys know their stuff," he said referring to the Winathians.

"Keep me informed," Imra said wearily.

Eltro and Ol supervised as Ayala worked on the relays. "So, there's this Winathian chick I've been working with, pretty face, short blond hair, slender body, small breasts and ass, but amazing birthing hips, and...," Ol said conversationally to Eltro.

"Do you two mind?" Ayala asked offended.

"You're doing a great job," Ol cheered her own having no intention of doing any work, himself. "I could use a cup of coffee though."

"I've assessed the situation and I'm leaving back to my ship," Ayala said pissed off.

"Why? You can't fuck your own brother," Eltro pointed out.

"For what it's worth, I'm not here to fuck you either," Ayala bristled. "It would be hardly worth the effort."

"Excuse me," Ol thought he misheard.

"Last time I saw penises as small as yours, it was back in my elementary school days," Ayala mocked.

"I'm sorry to have disappointed you," Ol narrowed his eyes.

"Not at all. It was nostalgic," Ayala stared him down. "The two of you couldn't handle me. If you ever connected with me, it would fry your eyebrows off."

"I'm sorry. I've been rude. How about we get a cup of coffee together and reset our working relationship," Ol offered.

"Sure," Ayala smiled in spite of herself.

The Nemo and the Winathian cruiser stayed clear of the anomaly field and came upon a planetary system. With magnification, the Harvester orb was spotted. Mon, Imra, and Garth had a chat in the situation room about the discovery. "Many of the moons in this system show extensive bombardment," Imra reported.

"But why?" Garth wondered.

"It's weapon testing. Insane warriors would test their firepower on moons before attacking planets. If they've done this many weapon tests, we're running out of time," Mon said.

"I wouldn't recommend a frontal assault. Your weapons are damaged, critical systems are done, and you're outnumbered four-to-one," Garth said.

"This ship is merely a vehicle for my awesomeness...however, it couldn't hurt to get a closer look," Mon allowed.

The Harvester orb became active and prepared for a weapon's test. Four Harvester carriers were in the area guarding it. On the Nemo, Mon waited for information. Hermes probes got close to the area but were detected by the Harvesters. "It's emitting high radiation," Imra reported from the findings. "It has the same quantum signature as the weapon that attacked Earth."

"What is the status of our repairs?" Mon asked.

"Impulse and warp engines are nominal, armor at eighty-two percent, and no weapons for two days," Imra said.

"Fawk," Mon said peeved.

"Why the urgency? This weapon is a prototype, not powerful enough to destroy a planet," Garth pointed out.

"I'm bored. That's why," Mon said simply.

Ol and Ayala worked together on the weapon relays. "All that is left is resetting the weapon frequency," Ol said.

"What is it?" Ayala asked curiously.

"I'll do it," Ol shut her down.

"You don't trust me," Ayala said accusingly.

"No shit," Ol smiled.

"I understand. I come from a military family, fourth generation," Ayala said.

"Nice. I'm three-thousandth...on my father's side," Ol said proudly.

"Your family must think you're a big disappointment being an explorer and all," Ayala chided.

"Actually, we don't do much exploring. We only explore to find people to kick ass on," Ol clarified. "My family is not too keen on me serving on this ship to save some other race, the humans. Serving with Prince Mon-El placated them."

Mon and Garth entered the bridge. "They've launched the prototype," Imra reported.

"Get me a closer look," Mon ordered.

The Harvester orb opened its hatch wide revealing several prongs. The prongs came together at a point and then fired a green beam at a random moon. The beam blasted the moon open sending large chunks of its crust into space. The moon remained but was split in half.

After the weapon's test, Mon, Garth, and Imra viewed the data in the situation room. "The weapon's output was far greater than the attack on Earth. Still, it didn't reach its maximum yield. Power fluctuations indicate it was on the verge of an overload," Imra said.

"A failure, huh?" Garth mused.

"Not impressed," Mon rolled his eyes.

"What if we captured it?" Garth considered.

"So you can bring it back to Winath and find a way to replicate it against the Titans?" Mon smirked.

"What? No...," Garth denied.

"Join the Galactic Federation and you won't have to worry about the Titans," Mon told him.

"We're willing to have an alliance with Earth but not Titan," Garth said stubbornly.

"You're already at a disadvantage with Earth, Titan, and the rest of the Galactic Federation allied together. At any moment, we could punk your empire and then you'd be fucked. The only thing keeping us from doing so is Kara being lazy and me preoccupied," Mon said bluntly.

"If the Galactic Federation and Winath both had super-weapons a peace could be maintained," Garth argued.

"But I don't want peace," Mon said obviously. "Once I'm done with the Harvesters, you're next."

"You're bluffing," Garth scoffed.

"He really isn't," Imra said flatly.

"If I contact my government, they will demand I take the weapon and I will be compelled to follow that order," Garth said.

"You're not going to contact your government," Mon said simply. "You had communication issues inside the expanse so you took the initiative to work alongside me to destroy the Harvesters."

"You mean, the Harvester weapon?" Garth asked confused.

"Whatever," Mon said dismissively.

"So what's your plan here?" Garth asked finally.

"Your ship is going to lure the Harvesters out in the open so my ship can take the shot. Your ship is faster, more armored, better shielded, and more sophisticated so it only makes sense you lure out the enemy. The Nemo has a cloaking device. We will take the shot once your ship gets the enemy in position," Mon said.

"How do you intend to destroy four Harvester ships and the prototype?" Garth asked.

"The Hermes probe," Mon answered.

"What you are proposing goes against the rules of engagement code of intergalactic warfare," Garth rebuked.

"And I don't give a shit," Mon replied.

"Very well. I'll be going back to my ship then," Garth said, about to take off.

"There is one other thing. I'm taking command of your ship and you're taking command of mine," Mon stipulated.

"Why?" Garth questioned.

"Because I don't trust you for shit," Mon said obviously.

"My men won't follow the orders of an Insane," Garth refused.

"They're going to have to," Mon stared him down.

The two captains reluctantly traded places. Mon was now on the bridge of the Winathian cruiser with Ayala giving him a skeptical eye. "I await your orders," Ayala said without enthusiasm.

"Get their attention and move them out of the debris field," Mon ordered.

The Winathian cruiser headed toward the Harvesters and was immediately detected. The four saucer-shaped ships immediately went after them and then launched hundreds of fighters. "Fire at the lead ship," Mon ordered.

The Winathian cruiser fired a lone torpedo at the lead saucer ship. The torpedo hit creating minor damage on the hull. "Good, they don't have shields," Mon said pleased.

"They're almost on us," Ayala said alarmed.

"Withdraw and head toward the rendezvous point," Mon ordered.

The Winathian cruiser accelerated on impulse with the Harvesters giving chase. The Nemo then decloaked and fired a Hermes probe at the Harvesters. The probe went to warp and collided with the Harvester lead ship at the speed of light. The energy from the impact blasted the ship apart and the other three saucer ships behind it. The four ships were now shredded in a giant debris field.

"That's a hit," Mon smiled victoriously.

With the saucer ships destroyed and their queens dead, the attack fighters remained adrift in space motionless. The Nemo went after the undefended prototype and fired torpedoes destroying it.

After the battle, Mon and Garth had a drink. "As of now, you're not yet an ally or a member of the Galatic Federation, but I will unilaterally declare Winath to be 'protected'," Mon said.

"Protected?" Garth scoffed.

"It means we protect you from alien threats expecting nothing in return, asshole," Mon clarified.

"Nothing in return? Really?" Garth asked skeptically.

"To be honest, I want you...and your sister," Mon said vaguely.

Garth took another shot as he waited for a clarification that wasn't forthcoming. "Your Vindicator Corps?" Garth assumed.

"Sure," Mon replied.

"What kind of authority and missions would I be given?" Garth humored him.

"You would be S-tier, your sister, A-tier," Mon said vaguely. "The galaxy is getting a face-lift. You don't want to be an island surrounded by the Galactic Federation."

"You and your queen only arrived on the scene a few years ago. Perhaps, you're just a lightning strike," Garth countered.

"Yeah, maybe," Mon smirked. "Maybe not."

"I will inform my government all that has happened here and attempt to persuade them to a reasonable arrangement," Garth promised.

"That's all I can ask," Mon said pleased.

Part 2

Mon had the Nemo leapfrog to the next Harvester base planet on his way to the home planet. The system of Azati Prime was a red dwarf planet with several planets and many moons. "There is considerable activity around the two innermost planets," Imra reported.

"I'm detecting a shit-ton of satellites, a detection grid of some kind," Ol reported.

"Dax, put us on the dark side of one of the outer planets," Mon ordered.

Upon the Nemo hiding behind one of the lifeless outer planets, Mon summoned all officers to the bridge. "There's no weakness in the detection grid," Ol said.

"It's also extremely sensitive," Imra added.

"Can we disable it?" Eltro asked.

"The grid utilizes thousands of satellites. If one goes down, another will fill in the gap," Imra said, showing them on the table screen.

"We'll use one of their attack fighters we captured," Mon said.

"How did you manage to capture one of them?" Imra asked.

"It's a long boring story we don't have time for," Mon shot down. "We use it to fly in and find where the weapon is being completed."

"I've seen these things in action and I'm well aware of their maneuverability. With your permission, Captain, allow me to try," Dax volunteered.

"Granted. Launch as soon as you can," Mon ordered.

"I will upload a computer virus into their system. I'll disable their satellite network and their shields. If I plant a virus into their base, it will filter down to all corresponding ships, satellites, and defense systems. We'll have to fly our fighter into their base, itself, and dock with it," Brainiac 5 said.

"That's way more dangerous than just a fly-by of the base," Imra objected.

"Shit, I'll do it," Dax said eagerly.

"If you can do all that bullshit you just said, you're going with Dax," Mon allowed.

In the shuttle bay, the Harvester attack fighter was stored. "You sure you know how to fly that?" Brainiac 5 asked him.

"I got this. My reflexes and flying instincts are beyond even your comprehension," Dax smiled.

"We shall see," Brainiac 5 said as they entered the fighter.

The cargo bay door then opened for them. "Time to rock and roll," Dax said and then pulled on the controls. The attack fighter slammed into the left side of the cargo bay. "Oops," Dax said sheepishly and then twisted the control directions from sideways to upright.

"Let's try that again," Brainiac 5 said condescendingly.

Dax then accelerated the fighter out of the cargo bay into space. Dax immediately piloted the attack fighter into immature spin maneuvers. "Look, no hands," Dax said excitedly as the attack fighter went into an out-of-control spin.

On the Nemo bridge, Imra was less than impressed by Dax's flying ability. "They appear to be flying erratically," she said dryly.

"It isn't a problem," Mon smirked.

"They're passing through the grid," Imra reported.

Upon entering the grid, Dax lost control of the attack fighter. "Don't do anything. I was counting on this. They're luring us in," Brainiac 5 said to Dax.

"When were you going to tell me?" Dax asked outraged.

"Oops," Brainiac 5 shrugged.

"Fuck you, man," Dax said but couldn't help but smile.

The attack fighter went toward an ocean planet and then dived below the surface. There, they navigated through underwater canyons. Other attack fighters flew around them, oblivious to their intentions. Finally, they came upon a giant orb being constructed underwater. "It would appear we're going to be able to have a look inside," Brainiac 5 said as they entered the orb.

"The captain said we're to get in and get out," Dax said apprehensively.

"He did say that," Brainiac 5 said dismissively as they went deeper inside the ship.

Inside, they found a large open space that held the energy core of the orb with numerous stalactite and stalagmite structures. The attack fighter docked with a stalactite structure and was locked in place. "Fuck this, man. They can see us," Dax pointed out.

Brainiac 5 calmly activated the windows shielding them from view. Brainiac 5 then went to work on infiltrating the Harvester system. "I'm in," he said almost instantly. Brainiac 5 then uploaded the virus and waited to collect the data.

"What do we do now?" Dax asked

"You could pray," Brainiac 5 suggested.

Instead of praying, Dax got out some victory cigars and began to smoke inside the highly sensitive alien attack fighter spaceship. "It's been a pleasure," he said as he handed Brainiac 5 a cigar.

"Same here," Brainiac 5 agreed.

"Only thing left to do," Dax said subdued.

"What's that?" Brainiac 5 asked, knowing his intentions

The windows then opened whereby Dax mocked the Harvester alien on duty. "Look at the Insane man!" Dax shouted and raised his hands up. "Do you think they have any idea what's going to happen to them?"

"Not a chance in hell," Brainiac 5 replied.

"Peace!" Dax shouted as a torpedo fired from the attack fighter's right wing.

The torpedo became embedded into the stalactite structure and began the countdown. Brainiac 5 forced the locks off their ship freeing them. Dax immediately piloted the ship away from the center toward the exit assuming there was one.

Three attack fighters gave chase and started firing. "We're being chased," Brainiac 5 said obviously.

"Oh, really!" Dax shouted.

"Oh, no, we're hit," Brainiac 5 said dryly.

"We're not hit! We're not hit!" Dax denied.

"Go to the exit to the left," Brainiac 5 calmly directed.

"What the hell do you think I'm doing?" Dax asked rhetorically.

As they got closer to the exit, the doors began to close. "Must go faster, must go faster," Brainiac 5 advised.

"Shut the fuck up!" Dax shouted.

Dax managed to fly through the doors before they closed. The three pursuing attack fighters slammed into the door and exploded on impact. The torpedo then detonated inside the orb causing a massive internal explosion. Dax then piloted the attack fighter back to the Nemo.

In the situation room, the bridge officers discussed their next move. "What's there to talk about? I got'em," Dax said victoriously.

"The torpedo you fired on them has a 150-kiloton yield. The fireball radius is two-thirds of a kilometer, heavy blast radius would be slightly more than a kilometer, and moderate blast radius at 2.5 kilometers," Imra explained.

"So?" Dax wondered.

"The orb is 120 kilometers in diameter. You severely damaged only four percent of the ship," Imra downplayed.

"That's bullshit. There must have been a chain reaction that destroyed the whole thing," Dax doubted.

"That isn't a thing," Imra rolled her eyes.

"We did damage the most critical systems in the orb," Brainiac 5 pointed out. "It will take considerable time for them to repair."

"I'm not going to give them that time," Mon said darkly. "I'll finish the job, personally."

After the meeting, Mon and Imra went for a walk down the corridors of the ship. "What do you intend to do?" she asked him.

"I'm going to blow up their planet," Mon said obviously. "You don't think I should?"

"This is mass genocide of the Harvesters and all lifeforms on those planets," Imra pointed out.

"That's if you accept the Galactic Convention on legal warfare which I don't and neither do the Harvesters," Mon said dismissively.

"The galaxy is in a position to know. You should reconsider," Imra pressed.

"What am I supposed to do? Negotiate with them? Fuck that," Mon refused.

"I don't want all the other innocent life forms on that planet to die," Imra said adamantly. "It's not necessary. Just destroy the Harvesters but spare the planet."

Troubled by Imra's request, Mon went into sickbay. "Do you have the biological weapon ready?" he asked Brainiac 5.

"I thought you were going to destroy the planet completely," Brainiac 5 said confused.

"I'm considering my options," Mon admitted.

"The virus is ready but the dispersal unit will take time to cover the entire planet," Brainiac 5 said, showing the portal device.

"This is supposed to disperse the virus across the entire planet?" Mon asked incredulously.

"It's the same design that can theoretically spread Kryptonite into the Earth's atmosphere killing Kara or forcing her to leave the planet," Brainiac 5 reminded him.

"I do recall that protocol," Mon said thoughtfully. "But I had no idea it was this small."

"You wish to test it?" Brainiac 5 asked.

"The enemy is testing their weapons for us. It's only fitting we should do the same," Mon smirked.

Mon then went to talk with the Insane bridge crew in the situation room. "I've never been good at farwells, so I'm not even going to try. I want you all to think back to when I liberated you all and became your prince. You were slaves then. When all of this is over, when the enemy is completely destroyed, you will be heroes. There are four hundred billion stars in our galaxy. We've only punked a tiny fraction of them. We have a lot of work to do. Nonetheless, I'm proud of you all and what you've accomplished so far."

The Insane officers went to attention and gave Mon a salute. "Semper Insanus!" they all shouted.

"Carry on," Mon ordered them. "Follow Imra's orders while I'm gone...but not too closely."

Mon teleported to the ocean planet with the virus dispersion device. He found an island to land on and activated the weapon. Mon then waited for the Harvesters to make a move on him. It wasn't long before Harvester attack fighters were on him. Mon went Super Insane 2 quickly and fired off dozens of shots into the air. The shots found the Harvester attack fighters and destroyed them in the air. Mon and the Harvesters traded shots over the island as they tried to get to the dispersion device.

A Harvester carrier then approached with rapid speed and advanced on the island so that its center was over the island. The carrier then opened up revealing its super-laser weapon. The prongs went into position as it powered up showering the island in green light. Mon flew right to it ready to counteract it. He suddenly felt an intense ringing in his mind as the Harvester telepathically attacked him. Mon shook his head in agony as the ringing became more intense. The beam then came down hitting the island with several megatons of explosive force. The island was completely destroyed along with the dispersion unit. Mon was nowhere to be seen in the massive explosion. The explosion kept going into the water creating massive tsunami waves.

On the Nemo, Eltro entered Imra's quarters. "It's been two hours. He should have destroyed the planet by now," he said concernedly.

"He opted to use the virus instead. The dispersion of the virus could take a while," Imra downplayed.

"Or, something happened to him," Eltro said.

"What do you propose? A rescue mission?" Imra asked skeptically.

"Well, you could at least be on the bridge. You're in command now," Eltro scolded.

"In name only," Imra rolled her eyes.

"That's not entirely true. The human crew needs to know their captain is on top of things," Eltro said.

"I don't need leadership advice from an Insane," Imra said dismissively.

"I'm just trying to help," Eltro threw up his hands.

"Dismissed," Imra said coldly.

"Dismissed? What the fuck?" Eltro wondered.

"Get out," Imra ordered.

On the planet, the Harvester placed Mon in a cell and used their telepathy to try to break him. Tentacles wrapped around his neck and his head to try to get to his memories. On the Nemo, Imra eventually arrived on the bridge. "If the planet were destroyed, we would have known it. If the orb were destroyed, our sensors would have also picked it up."

"I say we go in," Eltro proposed.

"Agreed," Ol seconded.

"There is still a chance the captain will succeed," Imra said stubbornly.

"The longer we're out here, the more likely we will be spotted," Ol pointed out.

"If we don't hear from the captain in one hour, I will pilot the attack fighter to the planet and attempt to reach him telepathically," Imra said finally.

"You have to be fucking kidding me," Eltro doubted.

"No way that's going to succeed. You don't know shit about flying that thing," Ol objected as well.

"Dax will fly the ship while I scan for the captain's mind," Imra said. "There is no other option at this point."

The Harvester attack fighter exited the Nemo and went to the planet. Dax had a better handle on the controls this time. The ship went through the detection grid easily enough and then arrived on the planet. "Keep us low and fast," Imra told Dax as she sensed for Mon's mind.

At the same time, the Harvesters discovered the Nemo and attacked with several attack fighters. No one was in the captain's chair as everyone was working their stations. The engine room was exploding all over as the Nemo was hit repeatedly. The Nemo fired back at the attack fighters with limited success. "Holy shit," Eltro remarked as he saw a crewmember on fire.

"Evacuate the engine room," Eltro ordered as it shut down.

The attack fighters continued to swarm and fired green bursts at the Nemo causing major haul breaches all over the ship.

On the planet, Imra finally sensed Mon's Insane mind. "I have a lock on him," she said.

"Good, because we're being shot at," Dax said dryly as a lone attack fighter was on them.

Imra used her powers to divide the waters to create a canyon. Dax then went into the water canyon with the attack fighter following. "Come and get me. What are you shooting at? Where you at? You can't shoot shit. Your mother can't shoot shit," Dax taunted as he avoided the attack fighter's fire.

The attack fighter fired relentlessly shooting through the walls of water around them. "Climb now!" Imra ordered suddenly. Dax climbed his fighter straight up as Imra allowed the water canyon to disappear. The pursuing attack fighter was swallowed up in the water and went for a tumble until it hit the bottom.

In the containment cell, Mon suddenly felt his mind shielded by the Harvester's mental attacks. He immediately went Super Insane and exploded the entire containment cell. Mon emerged from the smoke and fired on all the Harvester aliens in the general area until the telepathic attacks stopped. He then burst through the cell, into the water, and then into the air.

"Withdraw back to the Nemo," Imra ordered Dax.

As Imra and Daw withdrew from the planet, Mon powered up and pointed his hand at the planet from the upper atmosphere. Once he was ready, he fired down on the planet. The beam went through the water creating a whirlpool vortex, the crust, and to the core of the planet. The planet then instantly exploded in a fireball killing all lifeforms on the surface. The planet's explosion overwhelmed the detection grid satellites and some of the nearby moons. The Harvester ships attacking the Nemo immediately went idle.

The USS Nemo floated aimlessly broken but safe for the time being.
