AVENGERS ISLAND
After 3 hours in the shower, 2 scrub downs and a 30 minute rinse James had finally gotten the smell of swamp stench and dirt off of him
Now currently at the sink James turned the nozzle of the sink off before letting out a relaxed sigh as he took the wash cloth off his face
Taking a good look at himself within the mirror he squinted at himself in confusion and deep thought
His eye color ?
Looking at himself in the mirror James continued to tilt his head every which way as he saw his eye color mush together
For…hell all his life he's always had the same eye color as his Father
Tony would always tell him ever since he was a toddler he could never escape those Ocean Blue eyes of his
But it was strange because as of right now….his eyes were green ?
And not just any sort of green. A heavy emerald Green same coat as his….Mothers ?
The realization hit James like a brick as immediately his eyes went wide but he couldn't spend too much time on it as immediately when a heard a knock at the door he hastily snapped and raised his fist up ready to shoot his widow bite at the intruder
…who just turned out to by Pym
"Woah, you'd think I'd learn by now" Pym said with a small laugh
Letting out a small sigh James brought down his fist before running his hands through his red hair
"What do you want Pym" James said as he slammed his towel down on a nearby table
"Do you always sleep with those on ?" Pym questioned, obviously referring to his widow bites but James just responded with an intense glare before he begun to take them off his wrist leaving Pym to groan
"Hmmm, nevermind. Anyway, it's my night to do roundups before bed and after last night's excitement I was just checking on everyone. Francis and Torunn are currently in the same bed, Azari's brushing his teeth and you-"
"Are currently being annoyed by you Pym" James cut him off closing the mouth of the boy genius
Pym didn't have a snarky response at the moment, he only responded in a verb by tiling his head in suspicion which quickly caught James' attention
"Pym what are you doing ?" he said as Pym gradually got closer
"Your eyes ?" he said making James' heart drop
"What about my eyes" he witted as he turned his head by Pym just walked around him to get a closer look
"Dude, your eyes are green ? like emerald Green ? like your moms" he began attempting to grab his face and examine him more but James just smacked his hand away in disprovable before completely spinning around
"I have no idea what you're talking about" James continued to lie but Pym continued to persist
"Dude, I've known you my entire life, and for the 18 years I've known you I know that your eyes are as Blue as the ocean so what with the sudden change ? contacts ? some sort of spy thing ? I mean you already look exactly like your mom maybe you wanna go all the way-"
"PYM JUST DROP IT !" James yelled before soon enough Pym found himself getting a door to the face
But Pym just groaned and banged on the door
"I'M NOT GONNA DROP IT !"

Letting out a yawn Azari had plopped himself on the bed with a smile
The last mission they had took a lot out of him so Azari felt nothing but relief once he plopped down on his bed face forward and sighed
But he couldn't soak up most of it because once he started to drift off J.A.R.V.I.S. spoke
" Mr Azari, Captain Rogers and Ms Romanov request your attention"
Immediately Azari let out a tried groan as he started to whine like a kid who was told no
"Ughhhhhhhh….how dire is the situation"
" extremely sir " the A.I. responded only making Azari groan even more except this time he rolled out of bed

"We're sorry to wake you up at a time like this, especially after your previous mission. The whole world owes you a great debt for all your work
"Oh i'm sorry to….but thank you Capt…I mean Mr Rogers. That means a lot" Azari responded to Steve
"Who's even committing something right now ? It's like 10 at night ?"
"Unfortunately Crime never sleeps. And International crime is Incessant" he said before sliding his hand across the holographic screen letting Natasha take over
"Were deploying you on a undercover mission for the UN meeting being held tonight" Natasha said a holographic picture of the United Nations board was shown at the headquarter towers within the City
"For Months we've been trailing Germany's president Reino Schuster, with some hacking and digging into his dirty work we not only found that he's corrupt but that he's also in bed with Hydra"
"Well that's not good, how corrupt are we talking here ? like world domination…orr"
"Luckily not that vast" Natasha said as she pulled up some files on display
"He's been accepting grants given to him by Hydra, cash to look the other way for their actions and using the money to fend the countries needs. In other words he's been paying off their debt illegally. He didn't know what he was getting himself into with Hydra it was too late"
Swiping her hand Natasha revealed a series of private messages that revealed a conversation that was held between Reino and Hydra
"Looks like the guys terrified" Azari stated
"He threatened to out Hydra for all their plans and wrongs at the United Nations meeting tonight if they didn't leave him alone"
"And they listened ?"
Steve chuckled
"Of course not" he said before swiping all the information away
"But we don't trust Hydra either. And it wouldn't be uncharacteristic of them to send an assassination hit out for him tonight in front of the whole world"
"You know all this spy talk seems like a mission for James" Azari began as he started to get kinda nervous
"This is kinda up his alley as well, perfect mission for him. I can go get him" he said but both Steve and Natasha shook their head
"No, we can't deploy James on this mission. Trust me if we could we would" Steve stated.
The seriousness of his tone left Azari in confusion. He didn't know if we should've taken his comment as a complement of insult ?
"We're trying to keep James a secret. Because if we don't….it'll break our Accords with the government" Natasha told only leaving Azari more confused
"Accords ? Wait Wait Wait Wait Wait ? you two have your own Accords ?"
Steve nodded his head
"When America's Golden boy starts sleeping with The Russian Black Widow the Government tends to get a little jumpy. And so we thought of a way to keep the Government off our backs by signing an oath saying we won't attempt to repopulate in any way. Biologically or genetically without the Nations agreeing first"
In all fairness it made sense to Azari. For all his life he's known James had been nothing short of a living weapon. People would kill to try and get his hands on him to make him a personal weapon so the fact that they could attempt to make more versions of James with the help of Reed, Bruce, Hank or Tony could definitely make people nervous
"I get it, Sticking James on a mission where the United Nations can look directly at him is a bad idea" he said in which Steve and Natasha nodded their head
"Azari we get your nervous, but you have nothing to worry about because you won't be doing this mission alone"
Right on cue J.A.R.V.I.S. spoke as the entrance teleporter was enabled
"Azari, meet one of S.H.I.E.L.D. 's finest agents who will also be accompanying you on this mission. Agent Flash Thompson, Aka Agent Anti-Venom" Steve said as FLash made his entrance
Azari had practically jumped when the man's white masked disappeared like a living creature as he approached him
But Flash just laughed
"Relax kid, it's a suit, it's not real…well this one isn't. The last one was but I don't really have that one anymore….nevermind" he said as he stuck his hand out
"Eugene Thompson, But my friends call me Flash, you can call me that too if you want" he said as Azari accepted his hand shake
"You and your team have been making quite a name for yourselves. Gotta say i'm pretty impressed. Quite the mission report you all have racked up for yourselves"
"You two can compare mission reports later, you boys have a government official to save" Natasha said in which Flash nodded his head
"Yes Ma'am. Come kid lets go"
Nodding his head Azari followed Flash before soon enough they were gone

"You know I'm surprised they gave you this mission" Flash said before quickly getting out of his binoculars to turn to Azari
"I mean no disrespect but….this mission report kinda seemed perfect for the "other guy".."
Nodding his head in confusion Azari questions
"What other guy ?"
"You know. The one on your team. Red Hair, one badass fighter, dude broke like most of the training equipment back at HQ"
"Ohhh, you mean James"
"Yeah, him. I don't know much about you all and frankly where you came from. All anybody knows about you guys is, apparently you're the Children of different heroes ?"
Azari tilted his head as he just stayed looking over the UN building
"Actually, pretty correct"
"Oh, so then the one with the red hair"
"James"
"Right, James. He'ssss….?"
"The Son of Captain Rogers and Ms Romanov"
"Ohhhhh, yeah. Well that makes more sense. In all fairness dudes a badass. Each of your mission reports and files are locked up tight. Only Level 9 or higher has access to everything. I'm level 6 and can only see his Mission reports but from what I gathered. Dudes one hell of a Soldier. Again no disrespect but….wouldn't they send their own son on this kind of mission ?"
Leaving Flash answerless for a plethora of seconds Azari just sighed and shook his head
"That's what I'm thinking….." Azari had just mumbled
Turning his head Azari's attention was immediately caught once he saw more and more people start to group around the UN building
"Alright Kid" Flash began as his white masked covered his face
"Go time"
Azari had nodded his head in Acknowledgment leaving Flash to shoot a web line over to the building

Biting his nails in nothing but fear the German man swore under his breath in his native tongue as he frantically looked around left and right
The UN Assembly Hall continued to be flooded with different politicians, Reporters, Camera crews and all and each and every one of them continued to scare the ever living hell out of him
Watching every angle like a hawk the man's eyes looked at every single corner and exit available within the room as he knew he-
"Sir"
"AGH !" the man yelled and jumped in fear causing the group of suited men to jump as well
With a groan the man wiped off some sweat that coded his forehead
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE ! TOLD YOU, CHECK THE PERIMETER !"
"We did sir" one of the suited men said
"Several times"
"WELL CHECK AGAIN" the politician said
"Sir, you need to relax, trust us. Everything is fine. No one will be able to attack you here. So please just sit down and prepare for the meeting"
The suited man tried to help the President but he just pushed the man's hand away before frantically taking a seat
A black haired lady holding a tray smiled as she approached the man
"Would you like some Water Mr President ?" she asked but immediately the man's face went sour
"Why ? so you can try and poison me ? GET THE HELL AWAY FROM ME !" he yelled before knocking the glass over causing his finger to get cut
The injury had caused his nerves to fire up once more needing the help of the secret service to calm him down again as one of the suited men grabbed the terrified woman away
"Im sorry Ma'am, Please let us be"
The woman didn't respond. Just nodding her head before walking away but not without a smirk on her face

Walking down the hall of the UN building the woman strutted in a manner of business as other secret service and government bodyguard members passed by her
Taking a left down the hall the woman pressed a keycard in the slot before waiting for the green peep to single and let her in
"Hey" a voice called out towards her making her turn her head to find another one of the secret service approaching her
"How can I help you ?" she smiled
"No one's allowed in there withou-"
"This" she teased showing him they needed keycard
Immediately his eyes went wide and before he could grab his gun the woman grabbed his arm and head before bashing his skull against the door knocking him out cold
Quickly grabbing the man the woman holstered him inside before shutting the door behind her and right as she man plopped on the ground a new voice chuckled darkly
"You get what you needed"
Turning on the lights to the small surveillance room everyone light up revealing the blonde haired super soldier with a scar across his right eye flipping a knife within his hand
With a smirk on her face the woman removed her hat and soon wig off of her hair revealing her green hair
"Like taking Candy from a baby" she said before walking towards the surveillance area
Moving the chair that sat the dead body of a security guard with a slit throat Viper swiped the keycard giving her access and total control of the entire building
"So, not bad for a tryout"
Viper smiled
"You show…..usefulness" she said as she began to type away on the keypad
"You wanna really be useful, go put on that suit and those sunglasses" Viper told him
Without a second thought Ian went over and changed clothes, the Hydra woman didn't hesitate to turn her head and watch his scared and muscular body switch from body kevlar to a silk and cloth suit making her lick her lips
"Ok im changed, what's next"
"This" she stated handing him a small metal container
"Put it in this" she said as she also handed him a black box
"Once you get in range pull the tube up and then close it. That'll start the countdown. You have exactly 10 seconds until the explosion happens"
"10 seconds ? don't you think that's too little, what if he escapes ?"
Viper smirked
"Trust me, he won't escape this blast radius"
Piercing his lips Ian looked down at his hands in thought but Viper was quick to speak for him
"If you're having regrets just back out now"
"Why ? so you can just kill me ?"
"Eghhhh"
"If I do this I gain Red Skulls respect"
He said it didn't ask it like a question in which Viper only replied in a headnod leaving him to just put the metal tube in the box before putting on his sunglasses
"Get ready to evacuate in 5 minutes" he said before leaving the room

With the sound of metal being banged a large door was immediately pushed outward making a group of suited men spin their heads and quickly draw their guns towards Azari and Agent-Anti Venom who immediately put their hands up
"AGENT ANTI-VENOM ! SENT BY CAPTAIN AMERICA !" Flash shouted through his mask causing the suited men to hesitate
Bringing down his mask revealing his face Flash brought forth his Shield ID card
"Agent Flash Thompson, S.H.I.E.L.D direct. Captain America sent me here because President Reino Schuster's life is in grave danger, Hydra hostile are within this very building ready to strike we need to evacuate everyone"
"Sorry Mr Thompson, but once those doors close and the meeting is adjourned no one goes in or out until either a recess is called or dire emergency is at hand"
"AN EMERGENCY IS AT HAND" Azari cried causing the suited men to reach for their guns
"Germany's president's life is at stake here. Hydra could be in any corner"
"We've scouted this place several times. No one enemy combatant could get in or out without us knowing. Trust us this place is clean and safe, You can come with us on our patrol if you want to make sure"
"That would be a great Idea" Flash said before one of the suited men began to speak in his small microphone
After the seconds of speaking the man just nodded his head
"Mr Thompson follow us" he said before soon enough Flash and Azari were lead through the halls

With his hands folded Flash watched the UN meeting live behind a screen of protective bulletproof glass
Azari followed suit as Flash turned his head within the surveillance room to observe the 7 guards that were watching the many monitors around them
Turning his head to look at Azari Flash's lips pursed in deep thought
He still didn't know the full story of this all ? dropped out of the sky ? coming out of nowhere ? There suddenly superpowered teens that swore up and down that they were the Children of others heroes ?
It honestly made him think…..did he have one ?...did Felicia ?...
"Were you ever in love Mr Thompson" Azari suddenly asked
The question caught him off guard. His eyebrows raised before slumping down once more as he kept his arms crossed
"I was. Once" he answered truthfully
"Who was she"
Flash laughed before turning his head to Azari
"When did you get so interested in my love life" he said making Azari snort
"Beats looking at camera feeds over and over"
Tilting his head to the side and chuckling Flash sighed
"Yeah, I was with someone once. Truth was we were together for a while. She dated a…."friend" of mine, granted at the time I didn't see him that way. She came to me and told me it would be fun to screw with him and pose as a couple. Rub it in his face. So we did, had fun while doing it. The more we fake fun we had the more it slowly turned into something…real. Fake dates turned into real ones, Fake movie nights turned into real movie nights…..Fake crimes…turned into real crimes" Flash couldn't stop himself from laughing at the thought
"Sounds like everything was working out fine"
Flash nodded his head
"They were, for a while. But then I was sent out on a mission. Got my legs blown off saving a fellow soldier" Azari cringed
"When I was given a chance at being a hero with an upgrade I took it. Was back to doing good in biggers ways than before"
Azari grasped at his suit awkwardly as Flash just stared blankly into space
"And what happened with the girl"
Flash sighed looking down at his suit before balling his hand into a fist
"We both reverted back to our old ways, I stuck with being a hero and she…."
Trailing off to look at the Chinese Cat statue that sat across one of the tables Flash closed his eyes and shook his head
"Sorry, I'm spilling my guts to you kid. You were right this post is boring, Nothings even happening"
Looking at the surveillance feed Azari sighed
"You're right, it's weird. At least something should be taking place right now. Anything right ?"
Bending down to gain a closer look at the Camera feed Azari squinted his eyes
He observed and watched as the feed cycled from Hall to Hall each one either empty or on display of a guard that was standing watch
"Hey quick question, This isn't the only Surveillance room here right ?" he asked
One of the suited men nodded their heads
"Yeah obviously. Each wing has their room where you can monitor different sections of the building"
"Ok but is there one main Surveillance room that overlooks everything ?"
The suited man nodded his head
"Yeah it's on the North wing, but no one gets in that room unless you're a high ranking Service agent. Only 3 people have them"
Beginning to bite his lip Flash immediately caught on to what Azari was thinking
"Wait a second kid, Are you thinking-"
"Maybe we can't find where Hydra is hiding because they already have control of everything, and if we report to all 3 agents and one doesn't respond my theory will be correct !" he shouted before immediately the suited man brought his walkie talkie up
"Sanchez, report" he said before everyone waited for the radio silence to stop
"Reporting" he responded before the man moved on
"Willingham, report"
Again the same thing
"Reporting in"
"Sylvester, Report"
The silence was louder and longer this time, the Radio silence wasn't coming to and end causing Azari and Flash to look at one another as the man tried again
"SYLVESTER, REPORT !"
Immediately when the Walkie cut out the intensity of the room switched like the drop of a hat
"CODE RED EVERYONE ! CODE RED ! We need to evacuate the conference room now !" turning his head to Flash and Azari the two men were already gone leaving no trace of their presence but a swinging door

Barging into the Conference room Azari and Flash were immediately overwhelmed with the intense amount of people that populated the place
"Crap, there's too many people how are we even gonna find our guy" Flash said
"We can cause a panic, where's the fire alarm ?"
"Fire alarm ? What is this high school ? There's no fire alarm in a United Nations conference room. There needs to be an actual fire"
Letting out a growl Azari groaned
"Well that can be arranged" Azari said
Sucking in a deep breath Azari exhaled and out came a thick smog of black smoke from his mouth
Flash watched as the smoke went up the air and soon touched the sprinkler system
In a matter of seconds water started to pour and rain down upon the room causing one by one reactions from everyone

Looking up at the sprinkler system all United Nation members let out groans of annoyance before each of their secret service members began to escort them away
4 different men in suits came up to President Reino Schuster ready to escort him to safety
That was until one of the men disbanded from the group of men and kicked one of the secret service members over the giant table
Grabbing the hand of one of the members who attempted to grab his gun the man slapped his head against the table before roundhouse kicking another man
Taking off his sunglasses revealing his face Ian smiled at the president
"Hello Mr President, Here's a message from Hydra"
Securing back in fear Ian reached forward for a knife but before he could even make a move a huge blast of water hit him straight in the chest launching Ian back across the table into the audience of chairs below
Appearing on the screen Flash helped the man up to his feet as well as trying to calm him down
"Mr President, hi, hello. I'm Agent Thompson, I'm here to help you just calm down !"
"GET ME OUT OF HERE !" he shouted
Taking ahold of the man Flash turned to Azari who was just looking at Ian who was starting to get up
"Get the President out of here and help the other UN members, I'll handle him"
Flash nodded his head in agreement before beginning to help the President get away
As he began to rise to his feet Ian spotted Flash shuffling the President away only making his teeth clenched in anger before he rolled backward on the ground to grab a black box that was hidden behind a chair
Opening the box Ian didn't waste time grabbing the metal tube by it's top and slamming it down before sliding the box upon the ground towards the running President
With eyes wide as saucers Azari had immediately pounced and created a large wall of water dividing the box and the sea of people between them
Almost in the blink of an eye the explosion erupted, the blast impact was so great that it caused Azari and Ian to be caught in the crossfire and shot back into the plethora of chairs behind them and it also completely eviscerated the wall of Water leaving the politicians confused on what happened ?
Letting out a soft groan Azari shook his head and wiped his damp white hair before immediately receiving a knee to the face smacking him back down to the ground below
Hands gripped him by his collar forcing him up to his feet and soon enough he was staring down Ian's intense glare
The scene of ash mixed with water falling upon him only intensified his rage, But Azari couldn't talk much as he had a similar look
"wait…I know you, Yeah, YEAH ! YOUR JAMES AND SAM'S BROTHER !" Azari pointed out before Ian growled and immediately slammed Azari through a table
Walking towards the mutant ready to pick him up by his feet Azari replied with his own attack, kicking Ian in the stomach before quickly getting up to kick him back down causing him to slide upon the wet floor
Azari quickly saw the rage in Ian's eyes as if he was picking to punch knuckles
"Working for Hydra ?! Are you crazy ! after everything they put your family through ?"
"I have no family" Ian growled with angst
"I never did. That blonde haired fraud you idolize so much doesn't even deserve the title of being my Father. That Blonde haired bitch of a Mother is even worse"
Clenching his fist in undoubted anger Azari's eyes started to go white
"Families overrated, wanna know what's not overrated. REVENGE !" Ian shouted before immediately kicking a chair straight at Azari
Quickly blocking the attack Azari caught a knee to the chest by Ian
Blocking the next strike Azari evaded his swing before catching his arm to deliver his own combo strike ending with a grasp of each others hands in a clash
"I was left for dead in an orphanage the second I was born. Old hag didn't even bother to research because if she did she'd know she dropped me off on one of Hydras research locations" Ian said before headbutting Azari making him groan and breaking their clash
"I was experimented on, used like a test subject ! I cried every day praying someone would save me but you think they cared ? how do you think I got this" he said pointing at his scar
"You think being hidden on the same safe Island your whole life was hard…..I'd trade our upbringings in a heartbeat"
With a face of sorrow Azari dropped his guard and slowly began to stand up straight
Azari's facial features softened right as the sprinkler system had shut off stopping the rain fall but it didn't stop Azari's features from changing
His story…his story was…..more than depressing, it was….more than Sad…it was…fuck it was hell
"Ian…I'm…..I'm so sorry you had to go through all of that" Azari said
"B-But this" he exaggerated to the damage caused by both of them making Ian turn to look at it all
"This pain, and grief. It-It's not healthy, not in the slightest and…..This isn't the answer you want" Azari said before sighing
Sticking his hand out Azari held a face of remorse
"Join us. Fight through your pain and grief the right way. I'm not saying it's healthier but it's better than this path of rage and anger your taking right now"
Almost shocked at what Azari was proposing Ian looked up and down at Azari in confusion and disgust
That was until the man growled in intense anger before punching Azari straight in the face knocking him into a wall
Not stopping there the super soldier gripped the Wakadian by his jaw before dragging him up the wall
"You think I want your pity ? You think I need your sorries ?! I don't need anything from you, I don't want anything from you ! and I sure as hell ! DON'T WANT ! TO JOIN YOUR FUCKING TEAM !" Ian shouted before he was Immediately kicked in the face dropping Azari before being judo flipped into the crowd of chair breaking a few
Hastily rising to his feet Ian snapped at Azari in rage
"COME ON !" he challenged before immediately a series of white tentacles started to surrounded him
The tentacles didn't hesitate to pull the blonde haired super soldier down to the ground and wrap him up like a tight blanket
Even as he wiggled and tried to squirm out of their grasp nothing stopped his soon Imminent once he was raised up in the air revealing Flash to be the one causing the attack
"You alright kid ?" Flash asked as Azari slowly approached the two
The mutant only responded in a head node but didn't stop looking at the squirming Ian currently captive
Holding the Super Soldier tight in his grasp Flash grunted lightly as he concentrated on his symbiote
"Looks like we found our Assassin, Let's get this gut locked up in-"
RING
" AGH !"
Immediately dropping Ian and sucking back in his tentacles Flash dropped to his knees in excruciating pain
Azari was shocked at what was happening, even more so he was still with fear when he Saw Flash start to roll around on the floor and scream as his suit seemed to be going haywire
Hearing a switch flip Azari snapped his head up to see Viper holding some sort of sonic device within her hand
"Always knew this would come in handy, never fails against a symbiote"
With a small attempt to pounce towards the woman Viper quickly stopped Azari in his tracks as she just shook the device within her hands
"Mmm, not a good idea. You come any closer and I'll just just how long he can hold off that thing" she said leaving Azari to just turn to Flash who's screams continued to echo within his head
Helping Ian up to his feet Viper turned off the device before hastily grabbing some from her pocket and throwing it down on the ground causing a puff of green smoke to disperse before soon enough she and Ian were both gone
"MR THOMPSON ! MR THOMPSON ARE YOU OK !" Azari cried as he slid down to his level
Flash let out a weak groan and shook his head before responding
"Yeah….yeah Kid i'm alright I just…god…..I hate those damn sounds" he said before chuckling
Relieved that Flash was ok Azari dropped his head and sighed before shaking it
One hell of a mission

"President Reino Schuster is safe and accounted for. Now is he ever going to another UN meeting again. Probably not but He's alive thanks to Mr Thompson"
"And you Azari" Steve stated
"You saved him as well, take the credit. You deserve it" he said making Azari smile
Pursing his lips Natasha was able to read Azari's body language
"Something bothering you Azari ?" Natasha asked causing the young Prince to let out a sigh
"It's….it's just…I…."
Looking up at Steve and directly at him Azari's couldn't stop the picture of Ian's gritted teeth looking back at him causing him to shake his head
"It's nothing. Everything is fine. Just tired….that's all"
All though Natasha picked up on his doubt Steve only smiled and placed a hand on the young man shoulders
"Get some rest son, You earned it tonight" he said in which Azari tiredly smiled and nodded his head
"Thank you Captain" Azari said before walking away leaving the two Avengers behind only to look at him with squinted eyes and more questions on what really went down tonight
