All right, we're gonna see what's going on with the resistance. This will be another Riley chapter we'll see what Riley is doing. I'll try to make this one a full Riley chapter so that it will be most of her story unless you want to see more of that, but I doubt it would be, all right let's go.

Riley

Brother sent us a new letter. He said he wouldn't be able to write for a while but now he did and to help us get everything ready for the people to get ready to leave. It was time to build a resistance, my brother and sister-in-law sent us a letter. I handed it to Mom, another letter she said they said they wouldn't write for a while I said how did you get the letter one of my trusted guards I said the last letter we will get Mom OK then did they send you any more individual letters to you know I said they only want to send a family letter this time.

and we won't have to write them anymore. I said we won't. Helena said Mother said she took my head Riley do you know what this means we're getting out? I said we're all getting out but I'm curious to know what your brother has to say. Mom said I'm curious to know what my son Asumah says.

I asked it was a big letter all the news about getting all of his inventions and all of his inheritance of the palace isn't everything that means the palace was never mine in the first place it was never fathers. There was more to this letter. I was excited to know what would happen next, as mom continued to read. The second half looks a little bit happier mom said I do not know that this would be a happier part of the letter rather wouldn't have all sad news or half happy and half sad and end it like this for us.

Mother and father looked happy grandparents so young they had children we knew they were gonna have kids, but we didn't know how soon and I thought they were only having the one it was twins it was said in the last letter, father said. does it say what they had as the babies were born I asked, let's see Mother said as she read through yes because this letter was written recently he must've written it in two letters and sent it as one.

does it also ask the father if it says anything about when they're coming? Not no I don't know if they'll send us another letter for that I hope so. I said it would be known to know when we need to pack up they said for us to pack up now soon I'm guessing soon.

must see mom said I think the gender of the babies have been put in this letter as well one a baby boy and a grandson the eldest is a boy he said that he named him Liam, but a beautiful name and the girl Leanna I was hoping they would name her Helena after me. Mom laughs then I could call her Lena, I guess they didn't want to. I guess not but Leanna is so a pretty name too. I guess Mom and Dad said I know you love these kids they're beautiful just like me and Scarlet and Scarlet wants to try out calling you mom and dad instead of Mama, Helena, and Father Julius especially since we'll get married soon. Let me not this soon but as soon as she wants to try that out if that's OK with you I mean you will be her parents-in-law soon that's why she asked do you want me to ask you that in this letter?

mom beamed. I would love for her to call me mother she thought yes father said it's about time not the same way as she thinks of Kane, no but differently Mom said hugging me and Zoe.

we stood there, holding the letter in our hands. Mom read it over and over again smiling that we had an inheritance, smiling that we were going to have a little one soon smiling that I would get to see my new niece and nephew, Zoe, too, even though she didn't understand what it is, but she opened her eyes and wideness of understanding auntie, she said I'll be an auntie, she says, jumping up and down for joy. Yes, I said, hugging my new little sister we're gonna be aunties, and Ash will be Uncle. Well, I guess he couldn't live long, but he probably won't have himself put into the tomb-like Mother, which is nice that is fine. I'd rather him not be, I don't wanna see my father attune next to my mother he had her killed after all. I wish it was brother who was killing him but him killing himself is just as much poetic justice. I don't like that my new adopted that my half brother's brother's half-brother is taking the throne but at least we will be safe at least we'll be happy. How about those old West wagons in the human world mom said, but instead of a dog sled or team of horses or oxen pups we had at least one or two teams of wolf pups that traveled with us mostly one they would pull our wagon for us we would live in the wagons or homes depends on where we were. There were some places like the coast where we would stay for many days, maybe even at least a couple of years your brother and sister-in-law remember it very well we used to travel all over and will tell you tales one day Riley I nodded, knowing that the tales of them traveling would be great. They used to hang out and do things they even were there for one of Scarlett's birthday parties, and they would make jewelry together.

That would be nice if half of us could ride in the wagon and half ride in the palace but we can't do that. I know the wagon will never be used again. She said I just wanted to be used one more time. Maybe we can ride around the town and it or something father said, maybe we can ride to Kane's house in it from time to time instead of walking it'll be like riding in a car she not yes that would be nice and we can make it look like a car. I went into my sister-in-law's room first I didn't want to go to the brother's room yet it'll be heartbreaking. Both of their rooms are heartbreaking. I said on her bed for a moment. She hadn't been in here in two years so everything had not been touched much even sister even sister-in-law's journal was sitting on her bed. I'm surprised she didn't take it with her. I'm guessing her brother would tear it up if she did, but I know better than looking in her journal would be an evasion of privacy. She would hate it if I looked in it, maybe she'll read it with me some of it maybe there are stories about their traveling and things that would be nice if she could read it to me sides it's probably written and cutouts. I'm touching your journal your diary but I'm not gonna read it I promise, I'm not ridiculously stupid but I'm surprised you didn't take it with you and hide it from your brother and read it and rod in it while you were trapped I guess they didn't pack anything of their own to take to the castle only clothes that they had with them and whatever clothes were sent to them that was given to them when they were living in the castle.

I even went to her closet and got the rest of her clothes folded them neatly and put them in the suitcases in boxes with her books and toes that she loved. Her mother said that was made she didn't take any of that with her, either the stuff that she and Jason went and Luther made, I know she would want to take this stuff with her and she would love to see it all again. I looked at every piece that she had so I wish I had pretty jewelry like this. I packed it for her carefully wrapping each piece of jewelry carefully, and putting them in the box, if it wasn't for that I would be still in the castle and everything would be wrong right now and they would still be here. They wouldn't let me let Mom and Dad keep all her favorite things that she still had around the room, dolls, and things her daughter would love when she got bigger. well, she probably won't be needing them much anymore because she's a woman now sweet Scarlet you'll be starting a new life with a brother now a life you deserve a life filled with happiness and love and hope, and enjoy peace life of motherhood, so young and brother, so young well I hope things turn out well but Dr. Crawford said it would.

I carefully picked up everything and packed it away for her folding all her clothes like I said all the stuff in her drawers the clothes that were hanging in the closet that wouldn't fit her anymore but she could hold on for her daughter when she got to that age she'll be surprised I picked it up and put it away. She said we're gonna put those in the dirty clothes, dear we have a lot of dirty laundry as well. We'll have to do a lot of laundry you can do that while we're flying of course dear I was thinking that her daughter would love all these clothes. She can't Mother said so we had this one made and picked it up. It was made out of edge lines. What is a photo of Mom? Oh my, I didn't know she kept this.

it was a beautiful picture frame with beautiful stones made by Jace. It's a photo of it's a photo of her when she was holding Luther when he was a baby I looked carefully. I had his brother as a baby how adorable. I'm surprised she didn't take it with her her brother would've destroyed the thing. Mom said she'll want this mom not Yes I'll wrap this for her. Mom said this needs to be carefully put in along with other photos. There were other photos in the room of her and brother together when they were little and I'm doing things together pictures of them with their friends pictures of them together playing. I'll wrap all these photos she wants all of these, and of course, they were put away into the boxes.

Mom helped me finish up Scarlett's room, dripping the bed in the streets and was put in the basket of our box with all the dirty clothing. There that's better she shrunk down the bed and other furniture. How did you do that each room has its little pulley cord, dear, I can change the change, shape, and size of this furniture. Your father secretly did this, so that the Voran know we had technology like this because we were able to do this when we lived inside our little shave home when we traveled around the world watch, she said as she pulled the rope see everything shrink there's no appliances in here so that helps a lot just furniture. I don't know what the boys will do that we have only two of them, Ash and Liam. Well we'll see what they want to do Mom when all this piece stuff happens I want to meet the little girl I met in the Vald Orion Woods oh Luther and I used to and Scarlet snuck behind the Dorian Palace one time, I'm guessing she ran away because I've never seen her again. I don't know anything about her but I'm hoping she's safe somewhere. I bet she is Mom said and will reunite with her too. I hope so.

They didn't mind them keeping photos or anything else in here brother had a few toys I guess all right let's pack these Mom said packing all these things away all right that is that your brother's room is done after stripping the bed, she shrunk it. It was amazing how the furniture in here shrunk except for the closet there she said, cleaned up.

She said to Zoe almost done she said don't have many figures do you want help she was not all right Mom helped pack Zoe while I packed myself I walked around my room packing all my clothes, folding them neatly and putting them in my suitcases and boxes photos that I have even had myself and pictures of my biological mother. I kept those obviously because I didn't want to lose her in memory, also my locket that mother gave me and well Mulet the store memories I normally never wore it but I didn't need it much anymore, but I kept it as a keepsake and they put it in a box and a few family jewels that mother gave me that were mine and my princess crown, and things that I wanted to keep.
