The Hidden World
The hidden world was filled with mountains, fields, villages and other scenery that one could hope to find.
Within this world were dragons of any shapes and sizes, and they each had a different colour to their scales with distinct patterns to them as well.
Some had four legs, while others had only two.
And one stood at the tallest peak overlooking them all.
This dragon is a giant platinum dragon with small, furry red tufts, two starting from its collarbone and stretching around its neck and one each on its wrists and ankles; on the earthier side of its head are two long forward-pointing horns, with black strips extending from their centre towards the tips.
Next to it was a long, two-legged, and two-winged dragon with dark red scales and a small row of spikes down its back.
"Are they coming, m'lady," The dragon with dark red scales asked the larger one who looked up into the sky that was ever-shifting colours.
"They are Rando," The larger one said before they saw the lights forming a spiral in the sky, "Here they are, now," They said, and they jumped off the mountain and took flight up to the spiral in the sky.
And as they reached the sky, three things were falling from the sky.
It was Natsu, Erza and Mira.
"Why did we jump," Mira asked as she fell with tears in her eyes.
Natsu turned to her in the air, "It seemed like a good idea at the time," He told her.
Erza crossed her legs as she fell, giving off the illusion that she was sitting down, "When it seemed like we're here," She told them.
Before they could fall anymore, they were caught by the giant dragon, and Natsu looked at it with his eyes, getting ready to pop out of his head.
"L-la-lady Dezeha," Natsu asked the dragon as Erza and Mira looked at the dragon that caught them.
"Yes, prince of the fire dragons," Dezeha said to Natsu as Erza and Mira looked at the dragon, "And you, Mirajane Strauss, I have to say you have some skill with using your Take Over magic to take over a Wyvern, I am impressed," The dragon goddess told her as Mira looked at her before bowing her head.
"Thank you," Mira said as a smile formed on her face as Dezeha turned to Erza.
"And you, young knight, I have some history that you must learn," She told the mage, who nodded at the goddess.
"What is that," Erza asked the goddess as they landed, with Dezeha putting the three humans on the ground.
"Let me do something first," Dezeha said as she held out her claw and touched Natsu with it before pulling it back as three figures pulled him out.
The first one Natsu knew very well, "Igneel," Natsu asked with tears in his eyes.
The fire dragon king that was pulled out, Natsu, looked down at him, "I'm sorry I had to hide from you," Igneel said as he laid his head down, "But it was needed to defeat someone some, along with four other dragons, made a plan to aid the one that would kill Alduin's reincarnation," Igneel said as Natsu smiled.
"So they are around," He asked his foster father.
"They are fire dragon prince," Dezeha said as Natsu turned to her.
Natsu's face lit up with joy as the past week that he had been travelling washed away from him, and the girls with him let their shoulders sag in pleasure as they were worried about Natsu as he had not been acting like himself.
Mira then looked over to the two people pulled out of Natsu as well, "Who are you," She asked them.
Mavis and Zeref looked shocked at the question before looking at her, "We are Natsu's birth parents," Mavis said as Natsu looked over at them.
And he had a scowl on his face that Igneel caught before Natsu could say anything, "Natsu, there is a good reason why they put you in my care," He told his foster son, who looked up, "I think it's time you told him who you are," Igneel said both of them.
Mavis looked ready to say, but Zeref walked up first and smiled sadly at the dragon.
"You right, old friend," Zeref said as he was the first to walk up, "You three know of me, or rather the fake truth that was given about me that was spread by people looking at my creations," He told them as they looked at him.
Zeref then turned to Erza and bowed to her, "Your friend was affected by people doing things in my name as well," He told her as her eyes shot wide.
"Your, Zeref," She asked him as he nodded.
"That is right, I am Zeref Dragneel, but you know me better than The Black Wizard," Zeref scoffed at that with a sad look.
All three humans were on edge as they looked at him, "Why do you say that if you hate your Wizard Name," Mira asked him.
"Because I do, I loathe it," Zeref said as the humans started to ease up.
"Why don't you start the beginning," Erza said as Zeref nodded at her before Mavis walked over.
"Let me speak as well," She said as everyone looked at her, "And you three should know me as I am the founder of your guild, Mavis Vermillion," She said as Natsu's eyes popped out of his head.
"How," He asked as both his parents looked over to him, "How am I the son of you two; you two were born four hundred years ago and died a little over one hundred years ago," Natsu asked them as Erza and Mira nodded at him.
Mavis smiled sadly, "Has it been that long since we sealed ourselves away," she asked quietly as they looked at her.
"That has to do with our story," Zeref said as Natsu looked at him, "Well, the first thing that you know, Natsu, is that you are a crowned prince while the kingdom is no longer around, which means nothing, but you see when I was around nineteen I went to a school for gifted magic users," Zeref said as Natsu nodded.
"While I was there, I was top of the class and even managed to graduate early, but tragedy struck as my parents were killed in an attack, a dragon attack," Zeref said as Natsu's eyes shot wide.
"The Great Dragon War," He said as Zeref nodded at his son.
"Indeed, so people fled, and I led them away, but I was struck by watching my people being killed by the dragons, and so I decided to do something stupid," Zeref said with a sad look on his face, "I used my magic to tamper with the forces of life and death and tried to create life to bring back the people that were lost, and it worked," He said as he gained a sad smile on his face.
"But they were not the same as they once were," Igneel said as the three Fairy Tail mages looked up at him, "They did not have what would be a soul, so your father, looked into and drew the attention Ankhseram who cursed your father and for years each time he would let even the slightest emotion out he would kill thousands of people so he started to make creatures that are called Etherious, that was made to help humans," He explained to them.
"But then, I met a woman who would change my life forever," Zeref said as he turned to his wife.
The girls, female dragons and even the dragon goddess cooed and 'awwed' at Zeref's love for his wife.
Natsu looked uneasy as his father was out talking about his mother.
"Mavis found me one day, and when I showed happiness, my curse acted and sent out a wave that would have killed her, but something stopped it, and to this very day I still do not know what it was as I still was immortal, and so was Mavis now, but that was neither here nor there, so any way we got to talking and we met a good friend," Zeref said as he looked up at Igneel.
The fire dragon king looked down and smiled at him, "And the three of us would travel and even fight in the war as well," Igneel said as members flashed in his head.
"But then that day happened," Mavis said as they looked at her, "It was the day that Acnologia was turned into a dragon and started his slaughter of every dragon," Mavis said as the three Fairy Tail mages could hear the fear in her voice.
"And then, with most of the dragon had run from him, hiding in the forms of humans, he turned his sights on the Etherious and turned them to his side with some magic," Mavis said as Mira looked at the founder of her guild.
"Could it be Demon Control, as that spell can control anything," Mira asked her.
"That we do not know, but with the war was over, and Acnologia's hunt for us three was on," Mavis said as Natsu closed his eyes as Mira and Erza looked down with sad eyes.
"With my creations running around killing everything in sight, I had to do something, so I sealed away their powers and forms into books," Zeref said as Erza looked at him.
"The books of Zeref are prisons," She asked him as Zeref nodded.
"That's right, but something joyous and sad happened simultaneously," He said as Natsu's eyes shot wide.
"Me," He said as Mira looked at him.
"What do you mean," She asked him.
"Igneel told me that my mother and father had to stop what they were doing as they were worried that it could hurt me in my mother's womb," Natsu told her as Mavis shook her head and looked up at the fire dragon king.
"Is that what you told him," She asked him as Igneel shrugged at her, with Mavis sighing, "That is half right," She said in exasperation as Natsu looked at his mother.
"Then what is it," He asked her with his head cocked.
"When we were travelling to seal away one of the weakest ones, some of them attacked us, and it almost hit me thanks to your fathers, it missed me, but we grew worried about you, but for some reason, you sent me a message in one of my dreams to tell me to keep going and fight, until the right time," Mavis told her son who smiled bright, "Then we continued until a friend of ours came up with a plan, gather dragon slayers and send them four hundred years in the future so that they can aid in taking out Acnologia, so after we sealed away another of your father's creations we moved out and looked for dragons," Mavis told them as they looked amazed.
"But we could only find four other dragons, and before we could look for more, I went into labour, and so Igneel flew me to Tenrow Island, where I gave birth to you and on the way, me and Zeref knew that if we kept you with us," Mavis said with Natsu nodding.
"I would have been killed," He said as she nodded at him.
"Yes, so after you were born, we gave you to Igneel, and he took you off to be trained," Mavis told him as Natsu looked down at his mother before walking over and hugging her.
"Thank you," He said as Zeref walked over and hugged him, and Igneel smiled at them.
"But the story does not end there," Dezeha said as Zeref nodded.
"Your right," He said as Natsu looked at him, "When we gave you to Igneel, both of us returned to our mission of sealing away the Etherious, but they formed a guild by the name of Tartarous so the two of us could not attack them outright," Zeref said as Erza narrowed her eyes.
"So you created Fairy Tail," She asked them.
"That is right, and then the two of them sealed themselves with Fairy Tail until their son would return to them so that the three of them could fight together," The dragon goddess said as she looked at Erza, "For you see, Natsu and the dragon slayers were not the only ones that were sent from the past to the present," She told the red-haired girl who's eyes shot wide.
"Me," Erza asked the goddess, who nodded.
"That's right, and your mother was the first to gain the magic of the dragon slayers," Dezeha said as Natsu and Mira looked at their fellow Fairy Tail Member with wide eyes, "But your mother was a troubled woman as she was the queen of a land and thing is something that I have to know that Zeref did not," The dragon goddess said as everyone looked at her.
"And that is," Zeref asked with a raised brow.
"Irene Belserion, your mother, Erza Scarlet, had a marriage contract with your nation Zeref so that her child would marry yours, and it is still active," Dezeha said with a smile as Erza and Natsu started to blush and looked away from each other with Mira laughing her head off, "Anyway when the dragon slayers were sent into the future, your mother send you as well so that you could aid in their job," The goddess told them as they looked at them.
"So I can use Dragon Slayer Magic," Erza asked the goddess, who shook her head.
"No, while you were born from a dragon slayer that can turn into a dragon, you cannot get access to the magic to slay a dragon," Dezeha told Erza, who nodded, a little sad that she could not aid in the mission her mother gave her like her brethren.
"Dame it, I'm the child of a dragon, like the other dragon slayers," Erza thought sadly as she looked dejected.
The next thing the dragon goddess said drew the attention of the mage, "But, thanks to you using Re-Quip The Knight, you can make weapons and armour of dragons and wyverns to give your magic a dragon-like power to them," She told her as Erza nodded as her mood improved.
The goddess turned to Mira, "And finally, you, Mirajane," Dezeha said as the white-haired mage looked up at the dragon goddess.
"Yes," She asked.
"Your skill with the Take Over Magic has allowed you to use an ancient form of the magic, Take Over: Dragon Soul, and that has not been seen for the last two hundred years," Dezeha told Mira, who looked at her with eyes that looked to be shooting out.
"Is it Lost Magic," Mira asked, but Dezeha shook her head.
"No, but now then," The Goddess said as she shook her head and moved her head to look at all three, "You three have passed the quest and for your reward, I will have the dragon train you three in your magics, for Natsu, you shall learn pure Dragon Slayer Magic, along with whatever spells that your mother and father wish to teach you and a higher form of Fire Dragon Slayer Magic," Dezeha told him as Natsu smiled.
Igneel sat up straight as he looked at the goddess, "I will continue his training in the art if you would permit me," Igneel said as Dezeha gave a slight nod at him before turning her sights to Erza.
"Go to the blacksmith dragon and what scales he tells you to get you to get, and then seek out a dragon with the element that represents those scales and train hard," Dezeha told the scarlet-haired girl.
"Very well," Erza said before looking around, "And where is that," She asked as a green-scaled dragon used its wing arm to point over to the left of her to a large hole in the mountain with smoke billowing out.
"You shall find her there; her name is Valthals," The green dragon said as Erza bowed her head to the dragon and walked off to the hole in the mountain.
Dezeha finally turned to Mira, "And finely, Mirajane, I would like for you to head to the place that would be the equivalent of Hell to the dragons and use your Take Over Magic on them, and once they are done, train in it," Dezeha informed the Take Over mage who turned to the green dragon who laid down.
"Get on, and I'll take you there as I am the guard at the gate, and I will fight by your side," They said as Mira got on, and the two of them flew off before Dezeha flew off as well, leaving Igneel and his mate along with the Dragneel family.
"So what do you want to learn first," Igneel said before his mate came over and slapped him with her tail.
"It has been over four hundred years and, you have yet to say anything to me," She told him as Igneel dropped his head.
"My apologies, Rando," Igneel said to his mate as she sighed.
"Listen, Natsu, while Igneel is your foster father, that makes me your foster mother, and I do not want you to turn out like this fool," Rando said as she used her wing arm to point at Igneel.
"Got it," Natsu said before looking at his birth mother, "Can you teach me your magic so that I can get stronger," He asked her as she glanced at him.
"I could, and you have used my Fairy Light Magic, even with your father turning you into half Etherious," Mavis said as she threw a stink eye at her husband, who smiled weakly at her.
"How many times do I have to say that I'm sorry," Zeref said as Natsu and the fire dragon king and queen laughed as Zeref was getting scolded by his wife.
