"Good afternoon Ethan. I must say, you're much stronger than we anticipated" Aizen says in his usual calm manner, in the inside, he is pissed.
"I wanna make a deal. Give me control of the Espadas and I'll keep quiet about this," Aizen is completely caught off guard. He was not expecting this.
"How is it you know about my Espadas?" Aizen asked
"I can't tell you but don't worry, I won't interfere with your plans. The Thirteen Court Guard Squads need training and you're going to give them the training they need."
"All this just for your silence. Are you sure the Aizen you're speaking to is truly under your feet?"
"One hundred percent," Aizen now is confused. He is trying to get out but he can't it's like he enacted some sort of kido barrier. He couldn't use his shikai either. Something is wrong here. He should be able to break free from his hold. The difference of power between them is too massive. This does not make any sense. It's almost like Ethan anticipated this. "I'm not gonna tell you how but your shikai is useless. Don't worry I need you in the future. I just want your arrancars and that's all. Do we have a deal?" I release him of my hold and let him stand with his subordinates Gin Ichimaru and Kaname Tosen.
"Very well, you can use my arrancars as you wish as long as you don't get in my way," Aizen opens a senkaimon and leaves with his subordinates. Aizen wants to ask Ethan how he got so strong considering his spirit energy shouldn't even be remotely close to him and yet he got trapped by him.
"My my, what a frightening guy you are. I never expected you to be so skilled. This is going to be interesting," Gin comments before leaving with Aizen.
As they left, I looked to find and see if there were any more hollows. Fortunately, there's none even with my sonar technique. I lifted the barrier I placed on Chiyo and she embraces me. "That was amazing! Did you get the traitor?"
"Yeah, turns out it was some disgruntled defected Soul Reaper who wanted some payback on the court of pure souls. I killed him already."
"But how did he get those hollows? Those hollows were so strong."
"Turns out it was a group effort that created a hollow bait strong enough to lure in a Vasto Lorde."
Chiyo is surprised at how Ethan solves the case quickly. Was she even needed here? She smiles at him. "You're so strong. Now that I take a closer look, you're pretty cute," Chiyo tries to get closer to Ethan, wrapping his arm around her breast.
"You're getting way too close 3rd seat Watanabe."
"Aw, don't be like that. Come on, let me show you a good time. Wanna get some drinks later?"
"No thanks," Ethan says in a slightly annoyed tone.
"Oh, whatever. You're no fun," she says in a pouty playful tone.
We are greeted by Captain Komamura on a job well done in his office, "Good work you two. You're able to kill the hollows disturbing the area. Tell me, was there anything strange going on?"
"None sir," Ethan said, " Only disgruntled Soul Reapers wanting revenge. They used a hollow bait and a very strong one with their own spirit energy to lure in multiple Vasto Lorde."
"Interesting. I will expect a full report. You two are dismissed."
"Thank you sir!" We left the office and head back to our offices to end our shift.
As we head off, Chiyo wants to know more about Ethan. She gives a curious and mischievous look at Ethan. She decides to try again some other time as she speeds off to Squad 5.
Ethan, in his office, looks at the scores of the men of the squad. He is glad it's getting higher. Kido memorization is also important. He tidy up his office and personally cleans it before calling it a day.
His home doesn't even look like someone of his position. He goes to his room, takes a bath, and make some warm drink for himself. He sits at his desk in his more casual clothes, opens a drawer, and grabs his laptop which looks like that came from 2020. Ethan seems to be working on something important as his attention is fully on the device. A fly tries to go near the house, only for the fly to be vaporized in an instant. A man, who seems to be in a surveillance room, looks quite annoyed by this as he couldn't even get a glimpse of Ethan's room. Soon after a long night, Ethan retires to his bed and comfortably sleeps.
In Hueco Mundo, a servant has informed every espada and fraccion to come to the throne room for something important. "Good evening my dear Espadas. We have a guest today. I apologize for interrupting your sleep but more pressing matters are at hand."
"A guest?" Zommari is curious. There is no one who would be called a guest in Hueco Mundo, especially of someone of importance.
"Oh how interesting," Aaronierro is equally curious.
"Must it really be this time, geez," Starrk complained slightly but everyone knew not to take it seriously as that's just who he is, except lilynette who scolds him to be more attentive.
Aizen came with a very beautiful woman. Her short black hair and her attire screamed of living world. She wears a formal business attire normally attributed to men. Every espada can sense she is a Soul Reaper, which makes it much stranger. Why call someone like this a guest but not an ally? Why does she wear an attire from the living world if she feels like a Soul Reaper? Aizen sits on his chair and invites the woman to stand next to her. "This is woman is a representative of our partner. There's another faction in the Soul Society who has interest in all of you. She will be speaking for her superior. Under the agreement I made with the other faction, I cannot say his identity but his subordinate will be representing him. He won't be interfering with us. My orders are a priority"
"You mean we'll be taking orders from this bitch!" Nnoitra angers by the fact a woman will be giving them orders.
"Quiet Nnoitra," Harribel silences him, "if I may ask Lord Aizen, if the Soul Reaper knows about us, why didn't he make his move and what does he need of us?"
"That's a good question Harribel. He says he would leave my activities alone as my plan would end up training the Thirteen Court Guard Squads for a bigger threat than us."
"So this guy says we'd lose to the Soul Reapers and you'd just agree to the deal?!" Grimmjow yelled. The thought that their own boss is so weak that he was forced to take the deal. They knew Aizen would never take such a deal unless he was forced to.
Before Grimmjow could say anything Aizen interrupted, "I understand your frustrations but there's no need to worry. For now, I suggest we cooperate. Now if you would please show us what is it we need to do," The lady nodded.
"My name is Angelica Mars," she grabs a plastic device that intrigues Szayelaporro and Aizen. She pressed the device multiple times and shows the Espadas a hologram. Szayelaporro comments on how fascinating the technology is. The hologram shows a map to a room that does not belong anywhere to Hueco Mundo or Soul Society. It seems sleek and functional for security and comfort. It's like a maximum security prison that has been repurposed to a luxurious hotel. "In here you will be staying and training your powers to its fullest extent. There is an other worldy fight going on and we need our best for this. Has anyone noticed any strange being coming into Hueco Mundo lately?" The way she speaks is so robotic and automated, she made Ulquiorra look human by comparison.
"Yes we've noticed several species that shouldn't even exist in this world. One called himself a demon from the book of Zeref that has been killing nearby hollows and another was piloting a strange machine calling it the Infinite Stratos. There have been few of people coming in Hueco Mundo all the time but those are the only people we've officially encountered. We've been killing them ever since," Szayelaporro said.
"Has any hollow been eating them?"
"They did. They never seem to give any power boost even in the slightest. Some hollows died from eating them while others were mutating into it's own species. We did study them but it ended up nearly killing all of us one time after much experimentation. Ever since then, we've been forbidden to go further without Lord Aizen's supervision."
"Which is why you will be under the care of this woman. You will be training under their guidance," This surprises everyone even Ulquiorra.
"You will not be training us Lord Aizen?" the 4th espada asked.
"I'm afraid not. My attention requires elsewhere. All of you will be training in a pocket dimension. It has come to my attention that you'd be better off getting stronger there. As much as I hate to admit it but during my confrontation with the man, his level of skill far surpasses mine." The espadas were not ready to hear the news. Someone surpassed Aizen in skill? That was the most surprising thing they ever heard.
Suddenly an axe is thrown at Aizen only for Angelica to deflect it, "Barragan Luisenbarn, you are not in a position to threaten us with any sort."
"We've been killing these maggots for a while and it was so pitifully easy. Why should we take your suggestion? I don't know what's more insulting, the fact we're treated as weaklings or that we've just been given away," Barragan is only met with an uppercut straight up to the canopy of Las Noches and to be met with his opponent. "foolish girl, you really think you can challenge me? Everything that touches me rots to dust. I don't know how your fist didn't disintegrate but I'll make sure you regret that. Rot Arrogante!"
Angelica simply observes Barragan's release, not concerning herself of his ability. The arrancars followed to watch the fight between the two. Barragan unleashes his respira at her. Before connecting, she creates a kido barrier. She uses flash step to get behind him and uses gold weapons against him, actually cutting him. This surprises Barragan, espadas and Aizen. This weapon is no ordinary weapon for sure. No human weapons, unless it's those nuclear bombs, should be able to hurt them much. She backs away to prepare for another attack. Barragan launches another respira at her only to be blocked by a golden shield taller than her. Angelica duplicates the weapon, pointing at Barragan in every direction and blast him with it. Barragan deactivates his ressurrecion and is badly injured. Stabs everywhere as he tries to continue the fight. He lunges at the woman one last time to try and kill her only to be stopped by Aizen.
"I believe that's enough for now Barragan," Aizen scolds him a little which he stops his charge. "As you can see, there are many people like her. If they are preparing for otherworldy threats then who is to say we have seen the worst. I believe a partnership with them will be beneficial." Aizen prepares to give his announcement to all of them. "tomorrow, you will be transported train. That will be all for tonight. And Barragan be sure to behave yourself, do you understand," Aizen raises his spiritual power, flattening Barragan to the ground, forcing him to agree with the terms whether he likes it or not.
Aizen goes back to his squad barracks. Thankfully, the meeting was short and the fight is rather quick. He has an unexpected visitor, Gin Ichimaru and Kaname Tosen outside his room. "Is something the matter, Gin, Kaname?"
"We are worried Lord Aizen. We should have made a closer inspection of Ethan and a more discreet method of killing him. If you wish, we can kill him now that he's asleep," Suggested Kaname.
"That would be pointless. He has a kido barrier surrounding his home. One of the bugs I sent got destroyed by being near his home. If I had to guess, he's been aware of us from the beginning. I never had expected that. I already knew he was intelligent enough that he would found me out sooner than later. If I had known he had been aware of me I would have just killed him myself. Now we have made ourselves known to him, any attempt of assassination would be pointless."
"Really? So what are we going to do about him Captain Aizen?" asked Gin.
"We're just going to have to do it the formal way. Fortunately, he currently does not see us as a threat. We can simply invite him for a talk and discuss his views of the world, his intentions, and what he knows about Soul Society's original sin."
"Really a talk? Not gonna try to intimidate him?"
"A confrontation with him would be unwise. I suggest to be wary of him and never let your guard down."
"Loud and clear. Good night then," Gin leaves followed by Kaname. Aizen is left to ponder what happened tonight.
