Max was running along a roof top when he jumped toward an open window but slipped and fell to the ground. Natasha spat out coffee as she burst into laughter. "Have an ice fall." She leaned over laughing and fell off her chair.
"You think you're so funny?" He asked climbing through the window. "Yeah..." She took a deep breath in. "I think I'm hilarious." She sat up and saw Max covered in snow causing her to burst into laughter again.
"So am I." Max took off his hooded tank top and dropped it on her face.
"Hey!" Natasha yelled throwing his shirt at him.
He caught the shirt and chuckled as snow dripped off her face. "I was just getting warm."
"Sorry." He closed the window and walked toward his room. "I'm running out of shirts." Grabbing another from his closet he jumped when he felt someone touch his back.
"How did you get that?" Natasha asked rubbing a fresh cut.
"I fell on the tip of my knife." He turned around and met Natasha's green eyes again. His chest throbbed with an uncontrollable lust for her. "I-I need to get in the shower." He grabbed a towel and brushed up against her as he walked out. "S-Sorry."
"It's ok." Natasha said.
Max walked into the bathroom, throwing his towel to the ground; he put his hands on his head. "Calm down, Calm down..." he breathed in and out.
Natasha smiled as she heard him talking to himself. "I'm leaving for my mission!" She called out.
Max stumbled backwards. "Ok, see you when you get back!" He turned on the shower as she closed the apartment door.
A few minutes later Max was standing under the water when he started picturing Natasha naked. "What am I thinking?" He wiped his face and backed out of the water. Max furrowed his eyebrows when he saw his moonstone light up. "What is g..." He groaned in pain and looked down as he felt a sharp pain going through his dick. "What is happening?" He asked as purple fades ran through his dick.
Max collapsed to the shower floor when the pain intensified. Waking up he found himself lying on the floor as freezing water hit his body. He immediately checked himself and noticed everything was fine. "What was that?" He breathed in heavily and shut off the water. Walking into his room he got dressed in shorts and a white hooded tank top.
"Max!" A brown-headed, red-eyed, 3'6 girl jumped on him causing him to fall on the bed.
"Alexis?"
"Where's Natasha?"
"She's on a mission, but aren't you supposed to be at the safe house?"
"I wanted to visit, what's for dinner?"
"What do you want?" He smiled pushing her off him.
"Steak sounds good."
"Ok..." He chuckled. "Go watch tv and I'll get the steak cooking."
"I was going to do that anyways." She smiled skipping out of the room.
Max smiled, shaking his head as he walked out of his room. Grabbing a cast iron pan he turned on the eye preheating it. Opening the fridge, he grabbed out two, two-inch steaks and generously seasoned them with salt and pepper before putting them in the pan, melting butter he put garlic and rosemary in it and seared the steak.
He jumped when he felt someone wrap their arms around him from behind. "Natasha?"
"Sorry." She let go and walked away.
"Wait." He grabbed her arm and pulled her back into a hug. "If you need a hug just say so."
"Thanks."
"Of course, everyone needs a hug." He rubbed her back.
Natasha pushed away from Max and walked away but stopped when he grabbed her arm again. "What is that?" He pointed at her cheek.
"It's nothing."
He slowly moved her hair out of the way revealing a dark red bruise, his rage boiled up inside but staying calm he hugged her. "I'm sorry you got hit."
"Thanks, but... it's my job." She pushed Max away and walked into her room.
"Natasha!" Alexis ran toward and hugged her.
"Hey, Alexis. What are you doing here?"
"I wanted food."
"Here you go." Max handed her a plastic container with the steak in it. "I wanted to stay." She whined.
"Go back to the safe house." He pointed toward the window.
"Fine, I'll be all alone." She said before jumping out the window.
Max shook his head and grabbed his steak, sitting on the couch he changed the channel to animal planet.
Natasha walked in wearing long sleeved/legged pajamas. "I should have known." She sat on the couch away from Max and played on her phone.
He smiled as he cut some steak and handed it to her.
"I'm not hungry." He furrowed his eyebrows and started dancing the fork toward her mouth.
"What are you doing?" She smiled placing her phone on the coffee table.
Reaching her mouth he poked it with the steak, she shook her head in amusement and bit the steak off the fork. Cutting off another piece, she slid toward him, and bit off the steak. "You're a good friend, Max." leaning against his shoulder she closed her eyes.
Max finished eating his dinner when Natasha slid off his shoulder and onto his lap. He groaned in pain and found the moonstone lighting up. "Stop it." He grabbed a blanket and covered her.
A few hours later Natasha woke up to his hand on her side and rubbing her with his thumb. She stood up. "Lay with me?" She asked.
"Sure." He smiled and laid on his back, Natasha got on top and wrapped her arms around him. "Goodnight."
"Goodnight." He closed his eyes as a small rumbling noise echoed through his chest. It seemed like only a few minutes when he was awoken to someone shaking him. "Max?"
"Yeah?" He opened his eyes and found Natasha standing above him wearing a skintight black dress.
"I'm going on my mission."
"Be safe." He sat up as he grabbed her hand and rubbed it with his thumb. He furrowed his eyebrows when she moved closer to him. "Is everything ok?" He asked standing up.
"I just wanted to hug my friend." She said wrapping her arms around him.
He put his hand on the back of her head and rubbed her back. "I will always be here for you."
Natasha Pushed him away and left the apartment, sitting back on the couch he thought about what happened but dozed off to sleep. Waking up he heard Natasha walk into her room, turning his head he saw a giant bruise on her back as she undressed.
He got up as Natasha walked out of her room in pajamas. "Good evening, Max." She smiled walking toward the coffee maker. She froze as she felt her shirt being pulled up and a warm hand sliding onto her back.
"Who did this to you?" He quietly asked gently rubbing her bruise.
She turned around and faced Max. "Stay out of this, please."
Max put his hands on the counter causing Natasha to jump.
"Am I interrupting anything?" Alexis asked.
Natasha looked at Alexis and then at Max. Max huffed and turned his head towards Alexis. "Go watch TV!" He said sternly.
Alexis nodded and went into Max's room shutting the door behind her.
Max looked back at Natasha. "I will not watch as someone I love get abused." He said walking away from her.
"Y-Y-You love me?"
He climbed out of the window and turned around. "Hard not to." He said before jumping out.
Natasha smiled feeling something she had not felt in a long time.
"Is everything ok?" Alexis asked opening the door.
She nodded and looked at her. "Can you go back to the safehouse; I need to do something really quickly."
"What is it?"
"I need to get some information from someone before he gets killed."
Max ran up the forest to a small opening in the mountain, walking in he found a small altar holding a wooden chest, opening it he found a white mask with wolf ears and a snarling wolf engraved into the face, and a white combat suit.
Wearing a blue dress Natasha walked toward the door. "How are you doing?" She asked the bouncer.
"I thought you left for the evening?"
"It's one of those nights." She smiled.
"Have a good night." He opened the door.
"Thanks." She said walking in.
Max jumped from a rooftop and landed in front of the bouncer. He looked at him and tensed up. "I-I thought you were dead?"
He pulled out his knife and decapitated him. "I am." Walking into the club he scanned the area, Everyone looked at him and ran out, the bartender pointed at a guarded door and left.
"Let me pass." He told the guard.
"Halloween's over with, get out of here freak."
Natasha walked around a table surrounded by patrons smoking cigars, drinking, gambling, and fondling women. A man grabbed her arm and pulled her onto his lap. "How are you doing, baby?" He smiled allowing smoke to exit his mouth.
Natasha was about to answer when the door was flung off its hinges and the guard landed on the table with his organs hanging out of his body. The man grabbed Natasha by the hair and put a gun to her head.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you." Max said behind him.
The guy tried to turn around, but Max grabbed his head and slammed it into a wall. The man punched at Max, dodging the attack he punched his arm breaking it, kicking off the wall he stabbed his claws into the man's head and slammed it on the floor crushing it.
"Who's next?" He looked at the other patrons as he unsheathed his knives.
A group of men ran out from behind a wall and started firing, Max grabbed Natasha and pinned her against the wall blocking her from any damage. A few seconds later the room fell silent as smoke covered the area.
Max sighed and looked at Natasha. "Are you ok?"
"Yeah." She nodded.
"Good." He jumped towards the enemy causing even more gunfire. Not long after everything went silent, and the smoke cleared revealing Max wiping blood off a girls face.
"Max?" Natasha asked softly.
"She's just a child." His voice croaked with sadness.
The wall opened revealing A brown-haired man. "What did you ladies do this time?"
"Is that him?"
"Yes, but..."
Max interrupted her when he ran toward and punched him through a door and over a desk in an office. A guard ran toward him causing him to unsheathe his knife and stab him multiple times in the gut. Throwing him on the ground he rushed into the office, throwing the desk out of the way he punched the man in the face as he got up sending him back to the floor.
"Max..." Natasha said beside him. "I need to get some information before you kill him."
"Why?"
"His boss owns something that I need."
"What is it?"
"A journal."
"Of course." The man stood up and wiped blood off his face with a handkerchief. "I have an appointment in an hour so do make this interrogation quick." He said checking his watch.
"Where's your boss?" He asked.
"You think I'm that stupid." The man chuckled. Walking toward a table he poured himself a glass of champagne. "You think I would be alive if I were."
Natasha walked in front of Max as he tightened his fist.
"I should've killed you the minute I had my suspicions." He smiled and pointed at her.
Max growled and tried to move forward. "Not yet." She said patting his chest. Max looked at her hand and checked out the blue dress she was wearing.
"You can have her; I don't need used pussy anyways."
Max pushed Natasha out of the way and kicked him into the back wall. "Call Tasha that again!"
"Why not, she was getting used up." He laughed, walking out of the wall he wiped himself off. "I'll..."
Max interrupted him by grabbing him by the neck and punching him in the face multiple times. "Disrespect... her... again!"
"Don't get offended..." He smiled as blood leaked out of his mouth and onto the floor. "But... how does it feel to be second." He chuckled as he coughed up blood.
He growled in anger as he raised him in the air and slammed him on the floor, unsheathing his knife he stabbed his dick off.
The man screamed in pain and rolled around the floor. Max grabbed his arm and threw him across the room.
"Where's your boss!"
The man cried in pain as he crawled away but was stopped by a knife being stabbed through his ankle. "Where do you think you're going?" He kicked him in the face flipping him over.
"Where is he!" He stepped on the man's ankle.
"Moscow!" He cried out.
"Where!"
The man quickly fumbled through his pocket and gave him a paper with an address written on it.
"Is this the right address?" He asked holding the paper to the guys face.
"Yes." He nodded.
"Thank you!" He slammed his foot on his head crushing it.
"Let's get out of here." He walked out of the room with Natasha following.
A guard tried to stand up, but Max decapitated him. The two walked out of the club, picking up Natasha he jumped on a roof before running to the apartment.
"We need to pack!" He said putting her down.
"We're not going anywhere, until you calm down." Natasha stepped in front of him. Pressing a button on the side of his helmet, two latches popped up allowing her to take off his helmet. "Calm down."
Max looked at her with tears forming in his eyes. "Are you injured?"
"I'm fine." She said putting her hand on his face, Max closed his eyes as a tear rolled down his cheek. "I could've injured you, or worse killed you."
Natasha hugged him. "You didn't." She shook her head.
"I can't lose you too." He cried putting his head on her shoulder.
Natasha wanted to ask him what he meant but did not.
Max drove around the side of an airport and parked in a vacant spot. "Alexis said she would meet us here." He said opening Natasha's door.
Alexis ran up to Max and hugged him. "Hey." He laughed hugging her.
Natasha smiled and hugged her. "How are you doing?"
"What took you so long?"
"The mission took a lot longer than we were expecting."
"I heard a lot of people got killed."
Max growled and looked at her. "What did I tell you about listening to our earpiece."
"Not to do it, but..."
"But nothing, when I tell you not to do something you don't do it!"
"I'm sorry." She said looking to the ground.
Max knelt in front of her. "When we saved you we promised to protect you, how can we do that if you won't follow our rules?"
"I hate being alone in the safe house, I've been having nightmares and can't go back to sleep..." Alexis sighed. "I don't even know why you saved me." She mumbled.
Natasha felt her heart shatter as she knelt and hugged her. "Why didn't you tell me?
"It's embarrassing."
Max smiled and hugged them both. "Adults get nightmares too."
"Really?" Alexis asked.
"Yeah."
"If it would help, you can stay with us." Natasha said.
"Really?"
"That doesn't mean you can go on our missions, and while we are on our missions you will stay at the safe house, and you will not listen in on our missions." Max said.
"I promise." She tightened her grip. "I'll miss you guys."
"I'll miss you more." Natasha let go of her, they both grabbed their bags and walked on the plane. "I sounded like my parents." He said sitting down. "Yeah." Natasha smiled and leaned her head on his shoulder.
"You can take off!" Max told the pilot.
"Yes sir!"
A few hours later Max looked beside him and found Natasha smiling as she looked out the window. "I thought you were asleep."
"I couldn't sleep."
"Still thinking about Alexis?"
She nodded and looked over at him. "I've always wanted to be a mom, but after graduating the red room you get sterilized." Natasha leaned her head on Max. "I tried to fail the final test, but I woke up in a hospital room."
"I'm sorry that happened to you." Max put his arm around her.
"Where did you get that?" Natasha pointed at his moonstone necklace as it lit up.
Max sighed and grabbed his necklace. "My mentor gave this to me, I..." His voice broke.
"Sorry." He cleared his throat.
"It's ok."
"When I was eight years old, a group of people thought it was a good idea to kill most of my people, Russell and I were the only survivors from my pack." He smiled as he gave a shaky sigh. "Sorry."
She put her hand on top of his. Max looked at her and squeezed her fingers. "One night we were on a mission to collect intel when..." A slight cry echoed through his voice. "Russell was shot and killed."
Natasha got on top of Max, hugging him. "I'm sorry that happened."
"It could've been avoided."
"So could of a lot of things, but we use those mistakes to make us better."
"Wow, that's deep."
"Get some rest." She chuckled.
Max was awoken when the plane skidded across the airstrip. "How long was I out?" He yawned stretching his arms.
"About three hours." She said handing him a suit. "What's this for?" He asked taking it.
"We need to get dressed in formal wear."
"Are you kidding me." He whined. "I hate formal wear."
Natasha grabbed out a red dress. "Get dressed."
Standing up the two got dressed in silence. "What do you think?" Max asked.
"You look good, except." She buttoned up the three unbuttoned buttons on the top of his shirt and tied a black tie around his neck, folding down his collar. She felt his hands gently lay on her hips.
"I'm going to need those in a second." She smiled.
"Sorry." He apologized taking them off.
"I never said you had to take them off." She grabbed his arm and rolled down his sleeves. Max felt warmth travel through his body as she rolled down his sleeves and buttoned them up. "One last thing." She put a suit coat around him and buttoned it up. "Now you're ready."
Max hugged her. "You're a good friend, Natasha."
"I try my best, but we should get going."
"Yeah." He sniffled putting his head on her shoulders.
The two stood in silence for a few minutes. "I'm not going to leave you, your stuck with me for life." She said breaking the silence.
"I wish that were true." His voice broke as a tear rolled down his cheek. "I've lived for two-hundred and Ninety-four years and everyone around me has died."
"This time it will be different." She said rubbing his back. "Come on, we have a mission to complete." She pushed him away.
"Wow." He chuckled wiping his eyes. "I haven't talked to anyone about this stuff before."
Natasha smiled as she felt her heart burst open with warmth as he trusted her enough to tell her. "Well..." She breathed out heavily. "Can you grab the bags?" She asked opening the bay door allowing snow to rush in.
"Yeah, I can do that."
The two walked out to a Red Mazda MX-5. "What's the rest of the plan?" He asked putting the bags in the trunk.
"We need to get the journal and back to Budapest before morning."
"Where is it located?" He asked opening the passenger side door.
"Thank you."
Max shut the door and walked to the driver's side door. "He could keep it on his person, or in a safe." She spoke.
"Then how did you want to do this?" He asked driving off.
"I will work on the target while you get the journal, is that good?"
Max tightened his hand on the steering wheel. "We... can do that." He nodded. "Sure." He looked out of his window and saw shadows running through the forest.
Natasha smiled and placed her hand on top of his forearm. "Don't do that."
He looked back at her and smiled placing his other hand on hers. The two drove in silence until they reached the location.
"You got to be kidding me, a lake..." he paused getting a better view of it. "Mansion."
"Scared?"
Max smiled and opened his door. "Nope." Opening Natasha's door, he gave a valet the keys along with a brick of cash.
"Thanks."
"I'll double that if you stay here."
"Yes sir."
Max gently grabbed the man's arm and leaned in. "No matter what happens." he whispered.
The valet looked at Max and then at the money and nodded his head.
Natasha smiled and wrapped her arm around his. "Where did you get that?"
"I stole it from your safe."
She furrowed her eyebrows. "I'm going to have to get a better safe."
The two walked into the mansion. Max looked around as everything was so shiny and sparkling. "The butlers must be paid a fortune."
"They usually aren't."
"Invitations?" a butler asked.
"Here you go." Max handed him the invitation.
"Thank you, sir."
Natasha was about to speak when a dark-haired man cleared his throat. "Thank you all for coming." He said holding a glass of champagne.
Max looked toward the kitchen and saw two men carrying a body sized bag. "Let's have some fun." The man said drinking champagne.
Natasha tried to walk away but stopped when Max wrapped his arms around her from behind.. "I have a change of plans." He whispered in her ear.
"What is it?" She giggled, looking around the area.
"He attracts women to these parties and kidnaps them." He turned around allowing Natasha to see the kitchen.
"Do you see those bags?"
"Yeah."
"If you take him upstairs, he will try to kidnap you."
Natasha nodded causing him to let go, walking toward the stairs she looked in the target's eyes before walking up the stairs.
"That seemed to work, he's walking towards you." Max said through the earpiece.
"Good..." She fixed her dress so she would look more sexual. "I'm ready, when you are."
"I'm ready, he's walking up the stairs."
Natasha headed toward the stairs and bumped into her target. "Oh..." She fell into his arms. "I'm so clumsy, sorry." She smiled putting her hand on his arm.
"Are you ok?" He asked helping her get her balance.
"Thanks to you." She squeezed his arm. "I actually came up here to use the ladies' room, but I seem to have gotten myself lost." She smiled looking around.
"I can show you, it's right this way." He said pointing forward.
"In here." He opened an office door.
"Thank you so much, I'm actually..." She stopped talking when he locked them in.
Natasha looked at him in confusion. "What's going on?" she asked walking backwards.
Max walked up the stairs but was confronted by two guards. "This hallway is off limits." One of the guards placed his hand to the side blocking his way.
"No, it's not." He stabbed his claws in the side of their heads and put them against the wall. "Vârcolac will see you now!" He snarled smashing their heads together.
"Excuse me." He opened a door and found a couple making out. "Stay here if you want to live." He dropped the dead guards in the room and closed it.
"I'm outside the room."
"Sit down, sweetheart." The man said pulling out a handgun.
"What's going on?" She asked in a shaken voice.
A bookcase opened as two men walked in and stood behind Natasha. "Hold her still." He grabbed out a syringe as the two men pulled Natasha on a chair and held her down.
"I will make a lot of money on you." He chuckled filling the syringe with liquid.
Natasha flipped over the two guards and pulled out two suppressed Glock 26's before shooting the guards in the back of the head. "Drop the syringe."
Frightened the man dropped the syringe, unlocking the door she allowed Max in. "Meet my partner." She locked the door back up.
"This was just a misunderstanding." He nervously said stumbling back.
Max rushed toward him. "Calm down." Natasha stopped him and holstered her weapons. Max growled and glared at the man. "Hey, look at me, Look at me..." She said putting a hand on his face.
He looked down and met her green eyes. "I need you to calm down." Cupping the side of her neck he gave her a small peck on the lips before sitting down. Natasha smiled and slightly licked her lips.
"L-Look..."
"All we want is the journal." Natasha interrupted him sitting on Max's lap.
"I can do anything but that." He said slowly sitting down.
Max wrapped his arm around Natasha and put his head on her shoulders. "Can we kill him now?"
"No..." She froze when she felt Max sniff the perfume on her neck. "Just give us the book, and we will be on our way."
"It will destroy my business."
Max lifted Natasha up and put her on the seat next to him, standing up his eyes turned blood red, his claws extended out of his fingertips, and his canines protruded out of his mouth. "You call this business..." He growled feeling the shadows in the forest come closer. "How is trafficking women a business!" He snarled backing the guy into a wall.
"I-I didn't know she was yours." He kneeled.
Thick black fur started to cover his skin, as his clothes started to tear trying to fit his body. "She's not property!" He roared.
The man ran away from him, but Max grabbed his arm and raised him to eye level. "She's my friend!" He moved him closer to his mouth.
"I need to ask him some questions, Max." Natasha said touching his arm.
Max growled and looked down at her. "Can you lower him?" She asked putting her hand on his chest. He nodded and lowered him to the ground.
"Where's the book?"
"In my suit coat."
Max grabbed the man's suitcoat and tore it off. He groaned in pain as he got rug burn on his neck. "You won't have to worry about that in a few minutes!"
Natasha grabbed the book and looked through it. "Where's the real one?"
The man looked at Natasha and then at Max. "T-That is it."
Max threw him on the couch causing it to flip over, jumping on top of him he grabbed him by the neck. "Where's the real one!" He growled picking him up.
He tried to speak but gasped for air. "Go back to what you were doing." She spoke. Max dropped him, crushing his arm he picked him up again. He screamed in pain slapping Max with his free hand. "Silence!" Max roared.
The man cried silently as he looked at Max. "Where's the real one?" Natasha walked toward them.
"In my safe behind the picture." He cried. "Show us!" Max walked him to a picture; he opened it revealing a safe.
"What's the password?" She asked.
"7..." He winced when Max tightened his hold. "This better be the truth!" The man nodded causing Max to loosen his grip. "741111."
"7…4…1…1…1…1." Natasha unlocked the safe and found a black book in the middle. "Let's see." She Flipped through the book and looked at Max. "This is the real one." Max nodded and threw the man out the window, the man's screams went silent when he hit the frozen lake.
"What's that noise?" Natasha asked hearing screams from downstairs. "I brought some friends." He smiled.
"We should leave?"
"Yeah." He grabbed her hand and walked toward the door.
"Max, you need to change back first." She stopped him.
"You don't like the way I look?"
"You look handsome." She smiled kissing him on the nose. Max looked at her as his fur started retracting back into his skin. "We should try some more things." He smiled.
"I'd like that." She smiled, opening the door she was pushed back in by Max. "Watch out." A wolf ran down the hall chasing after a guard.
"Your friends?"
"Yep." He smiled and grabbed her hand. Walking toward the stairs they found bodies scattered across the floor, blood covering the floors and walls, screams were heard as wolves dug their teeth into people. "Enough!" Max yelled.
The wolves stopped what they were doing and looked at Max. "Thank you for coming, but it's time for you to leave." The wolves howled before running out of the mansion.
"Shall we." Max lifted his arm.
Natasha wrapped her arm around his. "Let's go home."
The two walked down the stairs and out of the door. "You're alive!" Max yelled in excitement.
"What do you think?" He asked handing him another brick of cash.
"V-Very nice sir."
"It's like prom gone wrong." He chuckled grabbing the keys from the valet. "Have a nice night."
"Y-You too." The man felt something hit his heels, turning around he found a women's head staring at him with a horrified look. He fainted when her mangled body fell from the balcony onto the pavement.
Max opened the passenger door. "Thank you, Max."
"You are very welcome." He closed the door and walked around the car getting in.
"He's a really nice guy." He said turning on the car. "Can I kill him?"
Natasha grabbed his hand. "I've had enough for one night."
Max leaned over and kissed Natasha. "Let's go home."
The plane skid across the runway as it stopped, Alexis ran toward it as the bay door opened. Natasha was leaning against Max as they walked down the plane.
"Max!" Alexis ran a hug into him causing him to fall. "Natasha."
"Hey." She groaned hugging her.
"What's wrong?"
"We had a rough night." Max replied.
"You hurt Natasha?" she asked punching his arm.
Max grabbed her hand and pulled her to the ground. "No, I did not." He said running his fingers across her ribs.
Alexis burst into laughter and tried to get away. "Natasha." She rolled around Max's grip.
"That's enough." Natasha laughed pulling her away.
Max laughed and stood up. "It's past your bedtime, young lady." He blocked the sun from his eyes.
"I wanted to stay up with you guys."
"It's past my bedtime."
"Fine." Alexis pouted walking away.
"I thought you wanted to come home with us?"
Alexis looked up and turned around. "Really?"
"If you still want to."
She smiled and jumped into Max's arms. "Come on."
Max looked at Natasha and raised an eyebrow. "She reminds me of you."
Natasha smiled and grabbed his hand as they walked out of the plane.
Max carried a sleeping Alexis into the apartment. "Tasha, I can take care of the bags."
"Put Alexis to bed and I'll take care of them."
"We can both put her to bed." He suggested.
Natasha smiled. "I like that idea."
The two walked into another room and laid her on the bed. Natasha fixed the blanket on her and kissed her on the head. "Goodnight." Alexis smiled and turned to face the wall.
Natasha smiled and looked at Max. "Come on." He spoke. The two walked out of her room and sat on the couch. "I'm going to grab something's, is that ok."
"Yeah."
Max walked into his room, walking out he opened the fridge and grabbed a plate. Sitting back on the couch he put the plate, a candle, a lighter, and a present on the coffee table.
"Ok..." He sighed looking at Natasha. She looked at the present and then at Max. "Come here." Natasha slid closer to him and sat face to face. "Before you say anything..." Max lifted the present up to her. "Happy birthday."
She jolted forward and hugged him. "Thank you." He wrapped his arms around her. "You're welcome."
Natasha sniffled and leaned back. "What did you get me?" she asked wiping her eyes.
"Open it." He handed her the present.
She smiled and took off the wrapping, opening a box she found a moonstone necklace. She looked at Max's necklace and then again at her present.
"Do you like it?"
"Yeah..." She nodded. "I'm not sure if I should wear it."
"I know." He grabbed a peanut butter bite and put the candle on it. "Make a wish." He said lighting it.
Natasha blew out the candle. "Do you want to know what I wished for?"
"If you do it won't come true."
"Then I won't say it." She leaned in and kissed him. Max gently put his hands on her waist, he started breathing heavily as he slowly lifted her shirt.
"Max, Natasha." Alexis quietly said.
Natasha noticed Max's necklace was glowing, she looked towards Alexis and noticed her necklace was also glowing. "What's wrong, Alexis?" she asked holding out her hand.
"I can't sleep." she said grabbing her hand.
"Another nightmare?" She asked putting her in between them.
"Yeah."
Max cleared his throat and wrapped his arm around them. "Tell us about it?"
Natasha smiled and interlocked his hand as Alexis told them.
