November 23rd, 2005

Max opened the door allowing Natasha to walk in, looking down, the shape of her ass formed in a short skintight black dress.

"Max." Natasha said softly.

"What?" He quickly looked up. "Sorry."

"Stop apologizing on missions."

"Sorry." He closed the door and wrapped his arm around her.

"Lower."

He raised an eyebrow and looked at her. "Lower?"

"Place your hand on my ass."

He sighed and rested his hand on her ass, both walked into the main floor and sat down on a velvet-colored couch behind a table with a VIP sign sitting on top. "What do we do now?" He whispered in her ear.

"We wait." She giggled looking at the camera.

Max looked up and found a grey-haired man wearing glasses looking at them from across the room. "You are in my seat!" A dark-haired man interrupted.

"And you are?" Max asked.

The man chuckled and pulled out a 9Mm handgun. "I'm the owner." He cocked the gun.

"Are you now?" He smiled.

"Get up, now!" He yelled.

The patrons around the club stopped what they were doing and looked at them, Max looked where the grey-haired man was but could not find him. "Let's do it your way." The three of them walked into a barely lit room with a black conference table in the middle of it. "Sit!"

He sat down with Natasha sitting on his lap. "What are you doing here?" The owner demanded.

"We were just checking out your club."

"Bullshit, I know exactly who you are…" He threw two folders over to them.

Natasha felt Max tense up as he looked at the profiles. "How…"

"If you know who we are, then you obviously know why we are here." She interrupted.

"No." The owner shot at her; Max pushed her out of the way, getting hit in the shoulder causing him to fall backwards.

Another shot was heard as Natasha fell on the ground holding her shoulder as blood leaked in between her fingers. "You shouldn't have come here!" He said, pointing the gun at her head and pulling the trigger.

Max kicked the guy's hand causing him to shoot the floor. "I could say the same thing about you!" He growled as thick black fur covered his body.

The man stumbled back and fell on the table, rolling off he ran into a different room shutting the door. "What's going on, Daddy?"

"Shut up, Alexis!" He wrapped his arm around her and put a gun to her head.

"Max?" Natasha asked.

He looked down at her and held his hand out. "Are you ok?"

"Yes, thank you." She put her hand in his hand and felt tough dense fur surround it as he wrapped his hand around it and helped her up. She looked into his dark red eyes, but he quickly turned away and walked toward the door, kicking it down, he was shot in the chest.

"Don't do that again!" He walked forward.

"Stay back!" He yelled, pointing the gun at Alexis.

"Max, stay back." Natasha said.

"He won't kill her!" He looked down at her.

"You don't know that, just... please stay back."

He nodded and looked back at the boss. "Let the girl go and we can talk."

"Stay back!"

"This isn't going anywhere!" He tried to walk forward but was stopped by Natasha.

"My mission is you, not your daughter, please let her go."

He walked backwards but tripped on a step and fell, Max jumped toward and slashed at the boss but hit Alexis in the chest. "Ow!" She cried looking at him.

Looking down he saw blood leaking down her shirt. "You scratched me." She collapsed to the ground.

His ears slid downward as he looked down. "I'm sorry." He knelt toward her.

She flinched and tried to scoot away causing Max to stumble backwards into Natasha. "What have I done?" He whimpered.

The boss took the opportunity to run up the stairs. "It's not your fault." She spoke.

"Yes, it is!" He ran up the stairs.

"Am I going to die?" Alexis asked.

"No." Natasha shook her head as she slid Alexis's hair out of her face.

The floor above the table crashed down sending debris and dust everywhere causing the light from the moon to brighten. A small groan was heard as the boss lay on top of the debris as Max stood in front of him, grabbing him by the head he threw him through the wall back into the club. The patrons looked at him as he crawled out. "Get out!" He roared.

The patrons ran out as Max walked towards them, guards ran around him and pointed KBP 9A-91 assault rifles. "Stand down!"

"You first!" A flood of rage filled his body as several loud snapping noises were heard as bones protruded out of his skin.

Max winced in pain as he collapsed to the ground; the coloration of black flooded his eyes; his face contorted as a long wolf's muzzle extended out in front of him.

Vomiting blood his skin ripped apart as bones slid back into place allowing his limbs to extend longer, his clothes tore off as dark black fur replaced them, Max howled as he stretched out his body staring down the shooters standing at 10'0, he fell on all fours sitting at 6'6.

"Fire!" The boss yelled jumping behind the counter, Max jumped toward the enemy as bullets flew past him.

"Watch out!" "Behind you!" "Run!" Guards shouted as they tried to fight but were torn apart in seconds. The boss looked above the counter when everything went silent, turning back around a clawed hand grabbed him through the counter and threw him back into the office.

He stumbled up and tried to run, Max jumped in the room, grabbing him by the legs with his mouth he threw him in the air and bit him in half. Alexis closed her eyes as Max crawled toward her. Feeling quick, rapid breathing she opened her eyes and found Max sniffing her.

"What's going on?"

"I don't know." Natasha said.

Max started sniffing Natasha's scent, as he reached her neck, he sneezed breathing in her perfume. "Bless you."

"Aguyje!" Natasha looked at him in confusion as she understood what he said. "You're welcome?"

He huffed and crawled in front of her. "Ejupi, ejagarra Alexis-pe!"

"Let's go." She picked up Alexis and laid her on his back, laying on top of her she wrapped her arms around his neck, jumping out the window he stabbed his claws into the side of the building and climbed onto the roof. Jumping from roof to roof they made themselves to their apartment, jumping toward the window the clouds covered the moon causing his body to transform back, sliding across the floor he slammed into the cupboards.

Natasha slammed on her back holding Alexis in her arms. "Are you ok?" she asked, wiping Alexis's hair off her face.

"Yeah." She mumbled.

"That's good." She sighed putting her head on the ground, she noticed the grey-haired man wearing glasses over her. "Dreykov!" She stumbled up in front of Alexis, looking behind him she found Max standing up with his clothes torn off, and looking to his right she found a blonde-haired teenager staring at her.

"Sir!" She half-knelt in front of him.

Max punched Dreykov knocking him down. "You set us up!" He threw him over the couch.

The blonde jumped on Max's back but was quickly thrown off. Landing on her feet she shot him causing the walls to be splattered with skin and blood as he forced himself to transform. Slapping her out of his way he charged at Dreykov.

"Stop!" Natasha jumped in front of him.

"Esẽ tapégui!"

"I can't do that." She shook her head, every part of her wanted him to kill Dreykov but something would not allow her.

"Well…" Dreykov wiped himself off. "I didn't know you had a family, did you Yelena?"

Yelena frowned as she shook her head. "No, sir."

"I don't have a family… sir."

Dreykov slapped her. "Stop lying."

"Give me the kid."

Max grabbed Dreykov by the head, turning him around he met the snarling face. "esẽ ko'águi!" He opened his mouth allowing strings of saliva to stretch from each end of his mouth and drop to the floor, moving Dreykov closer Natasha slid her arm in his mouth stopping him. "May I speak?"

"Go ahead."

"Max has helped me with missions over the last month, I never tried to keep him a secret, but I except my punishment." She took her arm out of his mouth and half-kneeled in front of him.

Max looked at Natasha and slowly lowered Dreykov and sat on his hind legs.

Dreykov slammed his cane toward Natasha's back causing Max to grab it and crush it.

He looked at Max and then at Natasha. "Stand up Natasha." Natasha stood up, causing Max to stand up looking down on him. "Kneel down." She half-knelt as Max knelt on his hind legs.

"Hmm, since you are the best of my Blackwidow's, and you are the only one who can control this... beast. I will allow him to continue being your partner, but I will take the girl with me."

"Ha'éma peteĩ lícano ndaikatúiva ojejapo chupe peteĩ súper soldado ramo!"

"No one can understand you."

"Sir?"

"Can you understand him?"

"Yes, sir!"

"What did he say?"

"She is transitioning into a Lycan, and the serum won't work, sir."

Dreykov looked at Alexis, "When she transitions, she will start working for me..." He pointed at Yelena. "You have five minutes."

"Yes sir, thank you sir!"

He closed the apartment door and stood outside.

"Natasha." Yelena hugged her.

"Yelena." She smiled wrapping her arms around her.

A loud whimper was heard as Max transformed back and collapsed to the floor with puncture wounds around his body and bleeding profusely.

Present day

"Jarvis..." Tony stood on the top floor of the tower tinkering with his suit.

"Yes, sir?"

"Replay the footage."

A holographic screen appeared behind him. The video went staticky as Max was thrown into the wall. "Speed up the footage." The video reappeared as Max was pushing the gunmen off him.

(Area 1 - Kitchen)

(Area 2 - Living room)

(Area 3 - Hallway)

(Area 4 - Foyer)

(Area 5 - Gym)

(Area 6 - Outside front)

(Area 7 - Outside left side)

(Area 8 - Outside right side)

(Area 9 - Outside back)

(Area 10 - roof)

"Let's try a different angle, go to area 6."

The five gunmen appeared in the corner of the tower before everything went staticky.

"Area 7, nothing. Area 8."

The gunmen walked past the camera as they walked forward. "Freeze, enhance on the guy's hand. What do we have here?" He asked as he saw the skull with six tentacles tattoo. He grabbed the image and threw it above another table. "Keep going. Freeze, enhance on his shoulder." He grabbed the photo and threw it at the same table.

"Area 9. Freeze. Is that semi still there?"

"It was towed a week ago."

"Find out where?"

The balconies floor opened as a mark eight flew out.

"Area 10. Freeze." He ran his fingers through his hair as he saw two snipers on the corners. "What are you two doing?"

"Ar... wait..." A dark figure appeared on the roof before the cameras cut off. "Who are you?"

"Hmm, it's getting cold let's go inside to Area 5." Max shot a full court shot before it cut off. "Check Area 4." Max flew over the railing and fell on the table. "Freeze, enhance." He watched as Max's claws and canines grew.

"Area 3." Max jumped up but was punched into the wall. "Check Area 10." The figure disappeared in what looked like bats as he evaded the gunmen. The camera was engulfed with darkness before it went staticky.

"Playback, freeze. Hmm!" He sat back in his chair with his arms folded across his chest as he looked at the figurine. "Play area 6-10 after everything." The figure picks up the gunmen before jumping off the tower in a swarm of bats. Landing in the alley where an ambulance was waiting for him, another person got out and helped put the bodies in the back before the first person answered his phone and walked around and into the tower. "Follow him." The man walks in greets Max and cleans up.

"Interesting..."

"Sir... We have found the semi."

"Thank you, Jarvis." He turned his chair to face the table with the two holograms. "I don't like this, Jarvis."

"Neither do I, Sir."

"Tony?" Pepper asked entering the room causing him to turn off the holograms and turn toward her.

"What's wrong?" she asked standing in front of him.

"Nothing, why?"

"You look like you just saw a ghost."

"Oh, I was just going over the security footage. I need to do something."

"It's Black Friday."

"I'll be back for the movie night."

"B-B..."

"I promise." He placed his hands on her shoulders before kissing her. "I love you." He smiled before walking away.

"Love you... The movie starts in 3 hours!" She shouted as his suit engulfed him. "Be careful." She watched as his boosters launched him into the air.

Tony hovered above a junkyard. "Scan the area, Jarvis."

"No life forms around."

"Good." He said as he landed. Hearing a crunching noise under his feet he looked down to find a disfigured corpse with their skin missing and organs splattered across them.

Tony scanned the body. "He was... skinned alive." He quickly looked up when something fell behind a tower of cars. Boosting over the tower he looked in horror as multiple enemies were hanging by their legs with their skin missing and their organs hanging down their bodies. Turning around he found a man whimpering in pain with flaps of skin hanging from his body. "Help me." He wheezed.

"Get out!" A scream came from behind causing blood to spray out of the man's ears. He tried to turn around but was thrown into a tower of cars collapsing in on him. His boosters accelerated him out but was knocked toward the ground crashing face first onto the ground where the unknown attacker beat him continually before disappearing. "Ja..." He tried to stand up, but the attacker knocked him down and continued beating.

Two compartments opened on his shoulders sending mini missiles through the air before exploding. The creature roared in pain before picking up Tony and slamming him on the ground before throwing him through the car crusher, Tony bounced on the ground and slid through multiple cars. "I think you made it angry." Jarvis said.

"Thank you for the observation!" He stood up but was hit sending him through another car, he caught himself with his boosters before shooting his hand repulsers in the direction. Dodging the attack, the attacker hit Tony in the chest knocking him down. "Put 90% into the unibeam."

"Yes, sir."

The creature ran around Tony as Tony followed him with his hand repulsers. "90% activated."

Hovering in the air his suit hummed with power before a giant repulser beam shot out of his chest following the attacker decimating anything in its way, hitting a generator it exploded sending the attacker and Tony in the air with it.

Tony landed as blood and human body parts rained down on him along with destroyed cars landing beside him. "That hurt." He groaned as he stood up, noticing the creature struggling to walk. He raised his hand to shoot a repulser at it but collapsed when the creature looked at him sending a feeling of dread to his core, and flashbacks of his mom filled his mind. "Mom..." He said weakly before losing consciousness.

Pepper was lying in bed, she knew Tony's promises were to be kept with a grain of salt and so she was not sad he did not make it, she was disappointed. Hearing the boosters outside she closed her eyes but jolted up when they ended with a crash. Running up the stairs she found him stumbling out of his damaged suit.

"Tony!" She ran towards him and fell beside him. "What happened to you?" she asked, holding his head in her lap. He slowly shook his head as he closed his eyes.

She sniffled as she saw movement in the corner of her eye, looking up she saw Max looking at them. Turning around he left.

"Let's do it again!" Max yelled walking into the gym.

Jack breathed heavily as he stood on all fours causing sweat to drip onto the floor. Groaning he stood in pain before he was knocked down on the floor by a silver-colored mark eight. "Take a break, Jack. Alexis it's your turn."

"I'm tired." She fell on her back with her limbs spread out.

"Let's go!" He growled.

"We've been doing this for 4 hours, when do we get a break?" She yawned.

"Give them a break, Max." Natasha wrapped her arm around his.

He smiled and looked at Natasha. "Thirty minutes."

Jack groaned as he turned on his back. "Thank you, Vârcolac!" He whispered.

"Don't thank him yet!" Max yelled as he walked out the door. Natasha sat on a couch in the foyer with her feet tucked under her.

"What would I do without you?" He smiled.

"I don't know." She smiled as Max leaned in closer.

The two were interrupted when a rumbling noise from outside was heard as a man riding a Harley Shovelhead FLH stopped in front of the tower and two riders got off with the passenger caring a backpack.

"Let's go, kid." The driver said, taking off his helmet.

"Logan!" Max said with his hands in the air as he exited the building.

"How are you doing, Max?" he asked as the two hugged.

"I'm good. Who is this?" Max asked, looking at the passenger as he took off his helmet revealing a dark-haired teenage boy with bronze eyes.

"It's probably best if I tell you inside."

"Oh... Okay. Come on in. Natasha?"

"Yeah, of course."

"Thanks." Logan said walking in.

Alexis walked out of the gym and bumped into the boy. "Sorry." He spoke softly before moving out of the way and following the others up the stairs.

Alexis furrowed her eyebrows as she watched him. Jack opened the door, bumping into her. "Oh... sorry. Tell Max I need to leave, Morbius needs my help."

Unknowingly she nodded her head. "Is everything okay?"

"Yeah." She spoke softly.

Jack looked up and saw the boy before smiling. "Oh. Alexis is growing up."

"Hey!" She yelled slapping him.

"You like him." He sang lifting her ponytail.

"I do not."

"Is that why you're blushing?"

"I'm not blushing... I'm... warm blooded."

"Yeah, "Warm blooded." He nudged her with his elbow before walking out of the tower.

"Dingus is leaving!" Alexis shouted walking up the stairs.

Max furrowed his eyebrows and looked at Logan. "What's going on?"

"I need your help..." He lit a cigar.

"Yeah, of course. But... Who is the kid?" He asked.

Logan blew out smoke as he looked at the kid sitting on the couch looking out the window. "His name is Alex." He said handing the Cigar to Max.

"Can I?" He asked Natasha.

"Go ahead."

Max smiled as he grabbed the cigar. "Aren't you glad I stopped you from killing yourself?" Logan smiled.

Max's eyes widened as he looked at Logan but coughed as he gagged on the smoke.

"What is he talking about?" Natasha asked.

"WW1."

"We don't talk about that." He wheezed, handing the cigar back to Logan.

"Is everything okay?" Steve asked, walking into the kitchen.

"Steve!" Logan chuckled.

"Logan, how have you been?" he asked as the two hugged.

"I've been better."

"I'm sorry to hear that. How's Victor?"

"50 to life."

"That bad?"

"SHIELD finally caught up to him."

"I'm sorry to hear that..." He said sitting down. "What are you doing here?"

Logan handed Steve the cigar, but he put his hand out. "Still no, huh." He handed Max the cigar. "Like I was telling Max, I need your help."

"Of course, anything." Steve said.

"A group of kids infiltrated the mansion and killed a six-year-old."

Oh my gosh..." Natasha gasped.

Alexis sat next to Alex as they talked. "So, Alex." She smiled.

Alex slowly turned his head toward her. "What's your powers?"

He looked down before away from her. "I'm a Lycan." She opened her mouth and pointed at her canines. "Do you shoot ice from your hands?" She jumped from the couch and put her hands out. "Do you spit fireballs? Do you swing from webs produced from your butt? Do you..." She stood in silence trying to think of something to say.

Alex huffed in amusement and smiled. "I'm a Wendigo."

"A Wendigo! Does it hurt to transform? How many people have you eaten?"

"Alexis!" Natasha said sternly.

"What?"

"Don't ask that."

"Sorry."

"It's okay." He spoke. "I lose my eyesight when the Wendigo takes control, when I lose control, I go into a coma which allows my body to heal, and... I lost count." He stood up and walked down the stairs and looked out the window.

Alexis looked at Natasha before following him down. "That's okay..." She smiled standing beside him. "I've lost count to."

"Thanks." The two stood in silence as they watched the light from the lampposts fight away the darkness. "When I was eight..." Alexis broke the silence. "My dad tried to kill me."

"Sorry to hear that."

"It's comical. Not everyday someone you know tries to kill you."

"What happened?"

"Max and Natasha killed him."

Alex frowned before looking out the window again. "I killed mine."

"Was it because of the... Wendigo?"

Alex shook his head.

December 2005

A half-clothed nine-year-old Alex was shivering in the woods, the snow burned his bare feet. He tried breathing in his hands, but they just caused them to burn as they tried to heat themselves up. His lips bled as he opened his mouth, and he could barely keep his eyes open as the wind blew snow and ice crystals into them. The wind howled through the trees deafening his ears as they started changing color.

He felt a strange presence, forcing himself to open his eyes, he could not figure out where it was coming from. He was lowering his head when he saw a darkened figure contrasting with the snow walking through the trees. "What do we have here?" It spoke in a lingering tone.

"M-My dad kicked m-me out of m-my house." He shivered.

"Why's that?"

"I d-didn't bring him a d-drink fast enough."

"That's not very nice, I can help you."

"Y-you can?"

"All you have to do is come with me."

Alex groaned as he struggled to stand. "T-thank you." The figure picked up Alex. Leaning into his savior as warmth radiated from his body. The figure put Alex down as they reached his house. Knocking, the figure vanished.

Alex stood as the warmth subsided. Looking around, the door opened. "Alex!" A woman cried hugging him.

"Is dad here?"

"He's out of town, he won't be back until Friday. I am so sorry!"

His mom brought him inside, feeding him, placing him in a warm bath, and placing him in bed. The next morning the mom heard the door open, jumping out of Alex's bed she rushed downstairs. "John!" Alex overheard.

"Where is he!" The man shouted.

"Who are you talking about."

"You know who!" A loud thud was heard. "Alex!"

"Get away from him!" Loud footsteps were heard as they stomped up the stairs. Alex's door swung open as a man with black hair with ice crystals covering the tips appeared. "Did I tell you to come back!" He grabbed Alex by the arm and threw him out of his bed. "What did I tell you would happen if you did!" Alex's lip quivered as he looked into the man's bronze eyes.

The man growled and slapped him across the face. "Stop!" The mom cried grabbing his arm as he went to slap him again. "Let go of my arm!"

"Get away from Alex!" She cried.

"Don't tell me what to do!" He punched her in the face causing her to fall on the floor outside of Alex's room. He growled as he broke Alex's door handle and slammed his door closed. "You think you can tell me what to do?!"

Alex heard screaming and thumping going down the stairs. "No, No, No!" She screamed downstairs.

Alex crawled on his bed and curled up into a ball as the screaming continued. "You're weak!" The lingering voice shouted.

"Shut up!"

"You're cowering!"

"What am I supposed to do!"

"Kill him! Kill him! Kill him!"

Alex stood up and walked toward the door. "Kill him." Grabbing a baseball bat the door opened allowing him to walk down the stairs. He found his mom lying halfway on the table with his dad behind her as the table shook violently. His mom looked at him with tears running down her face and wincing in pain. His dad had one hand gripping her hair, and the other hand was holding his belt lying on her back.

"What are you going to do!" He yelled causing Alex to drop the bat in fear.

"KILL HIM!" The presence roared.

"Get off of her!" Alex roared. Running, jumping on the table with one foot he launched himself behind his dad and gripped onto his back, biting into his neck.

"Get off me you little brat!" The dad screamed in pain.

"Yes! Kill him, kill him!"

"Shut up!" Alex shouted, biting down harder causing his dad to cry out in pain as blood squirted into his mouth. The presence laughed in excitement as it started to merge with him. Alex started losing his grip when he felt dizzy, giving his dad the opportunity to slam him into the wall. Alex gained his composure allowing him to grab a better grip on his dad and bite down harder tearing a chunk of skin off. His dad cried in pain before collapsing on the ground as blood poured out of his throat. He tried to crawl away but slipped in the blood.

Alex stood above him as he chewed and swallowed the piece of skin. He turned around and found the belt wrapped around his mom's neck. "Mom!" He shouted, taking the belt off he checked her pulse. "Mom!" He cried holding her head.

"Eat her!"

"No!"

"It will make you one with her... you have no one left!" He spoke sternly. "Eat her and she will be with you forever."

Alex looked at his dad and then at his mom, he truly was all alone. "Fine." He whispered. Cutting a piece of skin, he placed it in his mouth and swallowed.

The cabin shook violently as the wind howled, snow and ice pounding on the outside.

A few weeks later

A couple stood at the top of the hill looking down on the trees. "This is beautiful!" The woman yelled sending an echo through the sky.

The man laughed. "Let's take a picture." He turned around to grab his camera.

She clapped her hands in joy and smiled. Turning around she found her boyfriend holding his gut with his intestines in his hands as blood poured onto the snow. She screamed, losing balance and fell down the hill, wincing in pain when she landed on her foot.

"Lucy!" Her boyfriend called out. "Help me!"

"James!" She cried. "I think I broke my ankle!"

"Lucy!" A lingering tone came from the trees.

She screamed in horror, her screams stopped as she gasped, her face started turning blue as she reached for her chest before falling.
