The basketball went through the hoop. "You can't beat me!" Alexis shouted. "Oooooh!" She yelled running around the area. "I have 21 points, you have 19." She said in a sing-song voice.
Alex chuckled, grabbing the ball, he threw it behind his back and made it causing Alexis to look at him in shock. "T-That doesn't count!"
"I believe that is 22 points for me and 21 points for you." He laughed with his tongue out as he pointed at her.
Alexis glared at him before running for the ball. Grabbing the ball, she threw it but was shocked when he jumped in the air, grabbing the ball Alexis jumped in the air to block him. The group was talking upstairs when they heard a crash. Running down the stairs they found Alex standing over Alexis who was lying on the floor. "24 points." He huffed.
"I blocked you!" She laughed.
"Jumping in my way isn't blocking." He laughed. "I win, you lose."
Alexis smiled and bit her lip; her smile faded when she looked away and found the group staring at them.
"Having fun?" Max asked.
Alex jumped away from Alexis, tripping he fell. "Sorry." He said, staring at Max.
Max huffed in amusement. "Alexis go get ready, were going on a walk."
Alexis's eyes widened as a giant grin appeared on her face. "Really!" She jumped up.
"Yes, go." Natasha laughed.
Alex walked toward the wall where his backpack was leaning against. "It sounds like you won." Max said walking toward him.
"Yeah." He said quietly, putting on his backpack he walked out of the gym. Max followed but stopped beside Natasha. "This isn't going to be easy."
"I'll talk to him." Natasha said.
"Are we leaving?" Alexis asked, opening the door.
"Coming." Max said.
"Are you leaving?" Alex asked standing outside of the tower.
"Yeah, I have to get going." Logan hugged Alex. "Max is going to take care of you, so don't make me come back here and kick your ass."
Alex huffed in amusement. "You got it."
The group exited the tower as the two let go of each other.
"Are you leaving?" Max asked.
"Yeah, I made a promise to someone."
"Be careful." Natasha said.
"I don't know what that means." He chuckled before starting his bike. "Say bye to mom for me." Alex said.
Logan rubbed his hand through Alex's hair. "Be careful." He said before driving off.
Alex breathed out heavily. "Are we going?" Alexis interrupted by punching Alex in the arm, grabbing her wrist, he quickly let go. "Sorry." He said softly before wandering off.
Alexis furrowed her eyebrows. "No fun." She mumbled. "Ooo, a beer bottle." She grabbed it from the street. "A cigarette bud..." Walking down the street she found stuff that interested her, stopping when she found Alex in an alley. "Hey, sour puss!" She called out.
"Come on, it can't be that bad?" She picked up more junk and put it in the pile that she was carrying. "A gun!" She grabbed it but the man holding it would not give it to her.
"Alexis?"
"Give me your money!" The man shouted. Alexis smiled and put her hands in the air dropping the junk. "Gee, I hope you don't shoot us, mister!"
Alex backed up, hitting someone he jumped forward and turned around to see Natasha, and Max. Tripping on a rock he fell back into the man as a gun shot rang in his ears.
"Alex?" Alexis called out as she poked him with her foot. "Stop!" Natasha said sternly.
"Fine!" She pouted walking away.
"I'm going to follow her." Max said.
"Good luck."
"Thanks, will meet you at the movie theater." He said before entering the darkness.
Alex jolted up and held the back of his head. "It's okay." Natasha said. "You're okay."
He looked at her and then at the man who now had a bullet hole under his chin and brain matter all over the ground. Looking at Natasha again, who had grabbed the gun, put it in safety before putting it behind her. "You ever just wanted to live in peace?" His voice shook with sadness.
"Everyday." She said hugging him. "Everyday." The two hugged for a few seconds before walking away.
"You and Alexis seem to be getting along pretty well."
"I've known her for a couple of hours... I do not know why, but being around her soothes the pain. Have you ever had that?"
"I have that right now."
Alex rested his hands on the back of his head as they walked. "It almost seems unfair..."
A bat swung down on Alex causing him to fall to the ground. "What do we have here?" A man smiled wrapping his arm around Natasha and put a gun to her head.
The man holding the bat placed it on the back of Alex's head. "Give us your bag, slowly."
Alex did as he was told and slid the bag off his back. The man grabbed the bag, unzipping it he laughed and grabbed a teddy bear pendant.
Alex stood up as the man zipped up his bag. "The laptop and pendant will be worth a little money."
"We gave you what you wanted, now please leave us alone."
"He doesn't want any trouble." The guy holding the bat mocked. "Why's that?" He poked him in the chest with the bat.
"Please stop."
"Or what!" He pushed him with the bat. "Huh!" He tried to poke him again but catching it Alex ripped it out of the guy's hand, jabbed him in the gut before hitting him on the chin knocking him over.
"I told you guys to leave!" He looked at the rest of the group. The man holding Natasha shot Alex in the chest three times. Stumbling backwards he rubbed his chest before glaring at the man. A few seconds later he winced in pain as he grabbed his chest and let go of Natasha.
Dropping to the floor his lips turned blue along with his fingertips which were turning black, he breathed out one last breath in the form of condensation.
The rest of the group stumbled back and dropped their weapons before running off. "I'm not going to ask again." He grabbed the man under him by the shirt. "Go away!" He growled.
He whimpered and nodded his head before running off.
"You could've helped." Alex said, grabbing his bag off the ground.
"I wanted to see what you could do."
"Happy?" He bumped into her as he walked away. Natasha walked behind Alex until they found Max and Alexis with six thugs in front of them wearing baggy pants that went down halfway down their butt, baggy shirts, and cheap necklaces around their necks.
"What is this, mugger's eve?" Alex asked in annoyance.
"This doesn't concern you, homie! Go away before you get hurt." The leader said causing the group to pull out their knives.
Alex clinched his bag and threw it to the ground. "I've been hit with a baseball bat and shot four times in the last thirty minutes! A wannabe gang with dull knives is not going to scare me, "Homie."
"One last thing!" He walked toward the leader. "6 white boys attack my friends, which does concern me!" He slammed his hands on his ears before punching him in the jaw.
"Watch what I'll do?" He spat at Max's feet before walking away.
"Wait for me!" Alexis yelled, running after him.
Max furrowed his eyebrows and looked at Natasha, she shook her head and picked up his bag. "Don't ask." She said following Alex.
"I think he broke my jaw!" The leader yelled.
"You guys have a good rest of your night." Max smiled before walking away.
"Alex!" Natasha said sternly.
"Get the fuck away from me!"
She grabbed his arm, threw him against a brick wall and put her hand on his chest. "You will not talk to me like that ever again, do you understand me!" She yelled waving her pointer finger in his face.
He tried to break free but was surprised at how strong she was. "Do you understand me!" She growled.
"Yes." he said softly, lowering his head in defeat.
"Good!" She huffed. "A little field training has never hurt anyone, until now."
"You..."
"You're not living with Logan anymore! You want to get pissed off at the enemy fine, but never do it to your teammates."
"What are you doing?" Max asked. "She's getting a little frisky with your boyfriend." He whispered to Alexis.
Natasha Glared at Max stabbing him in the heart.
"We will meet you at the movie theater!" he said softly. Pushing Alexis down the alley as she tried to stay.
Natasha breathed out and pinched the bridge of her nose. "Look... please don't do that again."
Alex nodded his head. "Can you give me a hug?"
He placed his head on her shoulder before wrapping his arms around her. "Sorry." He mumbled.
"It's okay." She rubbed his back. "We may want to hurry, before we're forced to watch a drama."
Alex chuckled before letting go.
"How the grinch stole Christmas was awesome!" Alexis shouted walking into the tower. "Run for your life… before I kill again!" She yelled, falling to her knees.
"Quiet." Max laughed walking in carrying multiple shopping bags.
Tony walked down the stairs from his room but stumbled when he felt the feeling of dread as Alex walked past and looked at him. "Are you okay?" Natasha asked as she walked up to confront him.
"Yeah... I'm just going down to get some water." He steadied himself on the stairs. "How many others are you planning on bringing in?"
"Others?" she asked in confusion. "We're doing a favor for a friend."
"Tony?" Pepper asked, walking behind him in a bathrobe. "Come back to bed." She wrapped her arm around his. "We can discuss this tomorrow."
"I'm getting some water."
"I'll grab it, go upstairs... please."
Tony sighed before walking up the stairs. "Thank you." She spoke. "Sorry about that."
"It's okay." Natasha walked with her into the kitchen.
"Who's the new kid?"
"His name is Alex, a friend of Max's asked us to watch him for a while."
"That's nice of you." She grabbed a water bottle from the fridge. "I'll let you get back to it, goodnight." She said walking up the stairs.
"Goodnight."
Alex sat on his bed holding his hands together as Alexis lay on the bed with her arms and legs as wide as they could be. "You have new shoes..." Max unpacked the bags. "Seven hoodies, two shoes, ten socks, ten shirts, ten pants, ten undergarments, and ten shorts."
"What's the special occasion?" Alexis yawned.
"The best person in the house is here." Max patted Alex on the shoulder and winked before smiling.
"I think you're mistaken." She furrowed her eyebrows.
"Is that right?" He ran his fingers across her stomach and ribs.
She shrieked into laughter. "Stop." She rolled off the bed. "Get out!" Max chuckled.
"Make me."
Max jumped at her causing her to dodge out of the way and run out of the room. He ran out almost knocking Natasha down in the doorway. "Sorry!"
She placed the bag on the ground and sat beside Alex. They sat in silence for a few seconds before she spoke. "I wanted to apologize, for my actions tonight."
"I overreacted." he said nervously.
"So did I... I don't know anything about the Wendigo but I'm guessing mood swings are a common effect."
He snorted before chuckling. "You have no idea... he's like a gir..." He paused and rethought his comment.
She huffed in amusement. "I'm not sure if I should take that as a compliment or not."
Alexis laughed hysterically in the other room interrupting them. "Go get changed." She handed him a pair of shorts and undergarment.
Natasha was putting his undergarments and pajamas in the dresser when she heard someone blowing raspberries and Alexis laugh even harder than before. "Mom!" She cried out.
Natasha walked into Alexis's room and found her rolling on her bed as Max tickled her. "I'm going to pee!"
"Stop!" Natasha laughed, placing her hand on Max's arm.
Alexis breathed heavily and occasionally laughed as she looked at the two. Stopping, she smiled.
Natasha placed her hand on Alexis's cheek and moved the hair out of her eyes. "You're an Angel." She whispered kissing her on the head. "I'm going to finish up with Alex." She told Max before kissing him. The two slid their hands apart as she walked away.
Natasha walked into Alex's room and found him passed out on the bed. She quietly finished putting his clothes away before putting the covers over him. "Goodnight." She whispered kissing him on the head. Turning to walk away she found Max standing in the doorway. "Did I ever tell you you're a good mom?"
Natasha smiled and hugged him. "Thank you."
"You're welcome." He kissed her on top of the head. The two let go before making their way to their room.
A nine-year-old Alex gulped down raw meat as he hid in a bush, his skin pale, clothes tattered with blood stains, his fingers worn to the bone as he bit and chewed his skin, and his lips torn open.
A black jet hovered over the area causing Alex to grunt and cower in fear as it landed. "Stay with the jet, Hank..." A 5'11 lady told a 5'11 bluish-black furred ape-like man that was wearing white trunks with a black belt and a red 'X' symbol on its buckle, as she walked down the ramp. Her white hair corset braided down the back of her white cape. She wore a full body, white leather jumpsuit with an exposed neckline, and a red 'X' symbol on her belt line. "Follow me, Logan."
"Lead the way, 'Ro." He wore a white sleeveless tunic that was flared at the shoulders and predominantly black followed by gloves with three metal slits for his claws, with a thick white stripe down the center, three black claw "slashes" on each side of his stomach, and a similar slash descending from either side of his neck, The central stripe extended down past his belt, making his pants mostly white, with small portions of black isolated on the outside of his thighs.
"I'm going to look around." Logan said.
"Okay." Storm responded.
Storm looked around but stopped when she found Alex with blood all over his mouth peak out of the bush but quickly went back down when he saw her. "I'm not here to hurt you." she said softly bending down in front of the bush.
Alex crawled out on all fours and sniffed her outreached hand. She looked down to find the raw meat on the ground and picked it up.
"You want this?" She asked handing it to him.
He looked at her and then at the meat, grabbing it he turned away as he gulped it down. Hearing a branch break behind him he jumped into Storm causing her to fall on her back as he curled into a ball on her chest as he wrapped himself around her.
"Nobody else is here except for decomposing bodies hanging from the trees." Logan said.
"Okay, let's get out of here... A little help?" she asked as she tried to stand.
Wolverine slid his arms under hers and helped her up. "Thank you."
"My pleasure." He smiled.
The two entered the jet and sat down. "Take off!" Logan called out. The jet slowly rose into the air before taking off causing Alex to tighten his grip.
A few minutes later he slowly lowered his foot to the ground, crawling toward Logan he sat with his legs bent under him and his arms laid straight on his knuckles. "What should we call you?" Logan asked.
The jet jolted from the turbulence causing Alex to fall backwards, sitting up he started giggling.
"Giggles." Logan poked him in the chest causing him to giggle even harder, causing Logan and Storm to laugh along.
The pool behind Xavier's Mansion for gifted students opened, allowing the jet to land in an underground garage. The bay door opened as Logan walked down the ramp carrying a sleeping, Alex. A set of doors slid up as he walked forward revealing a white walled hallway, walking down it he arrived at a medical clinic where a 5'6, red-haired lady wearing a white lab coat awaited them.
Placing Alex on the examination table a 6'3, brown-haired man wearing red sunglasses, and a bald man sitting in a wheelchair appeared as the door opened. "Any news, Jean?" The bald man asked.
"He looks malnourished." She grabbed his arm to take his pulse, jolting up he pushed her away causing her to fall onto another table knocking it over, he jumped into the corner of the room and hissed at them revealing his sharp teeth.
"Are you okay?" The man wearing glasses asked as he helped Jean up.
"I'm fine, thank you, Scott."
The Bald man drove in front of Alex and placed one of his hands on his head. "My name is Professor Charles Xavier..." He spoke telepathically.
"Hey, get out of here, Cueball!" Wendigo laughed.
"Oh..."
Alex's attitude changed into giggling. "Cueball." He croaked as Laughter filled the room.
A year later Alex was walking through the cafeteria holding a tray of food. "Alex, right?" A blue haired 4'5 boy appeared in front of him.
"Yeah." He replied.
"Names, Dylan." He placed his hand on his back and guided him toward a table. "That is Blake, aka Bull..." He pointed at a dark-haired 4'7 boy before sitting down. "This is Aaron, aka vacuum..." He placed his hand on a brown-haired 4'5 boy's shoulder. "That is Luke, aka abyss, raise your hand, Luke."
A white-haired 5'0 boy raised his hand. "You can sit next to me." he said softly.
"Thank you." Alex smiled sitting next to him.
"This is my sister, Rebecca, aka reaper." He hugged a 4'3 girl with pink hair that touched the floor.
"Nice to meet you all." Alex said before biting into his peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
"What's your powers." Rebecca asked.
"I..."
"I have the kiss of death." She interrupted. "I steal people's life energy. Blake is super strong, he gets stronger the angrier he gets. Aaron can stop motion and suck up objects. Luke can liquify himself. What are your powers?"
"I can run fast..." before Alex could say anything else Dylan interrupted him. "I can run fast too."
"Cool, but..."
"Will you join us?" Dylan interrupted.
"I-I..."
"Good, welcome to the group."
Five years later
Logan and Storm were walking through the halls when they noticed Alex and the group at the end of the hall. Blake pushed an 8-year-old into a locker. "Come on..." Alex stood in front of the kid. "He's just a kid, leave him alone."
"Are you going soft on us, Alex?"
"No, is this the way you want to waste your lunch break?"
Blake glared at him before placing his hand on his shoulder and squeezing tight. "Relax, we were just playing around. Let's get some lunch." He turned around to the group, leading them away as they entered the cafeteria.
Alex sighed into his hands. "Are you okay?" He knelt in front of the kid.
"Yeah, thanks Alex." He hugged him. "You're the only one that defends us from them." Alex looked toward the ground in disgust. "Am I? Or am I only saving my own hide?" he asked himself.
"See you around." The kid smiled and waved back at him as he ran off.
Alex groaned in anger and rubbed his shoulder. "Damn it!" He mumbled angrily punching the locker door multiple times before grabbing it and throwing it across the hall, stopping at Logan's feet Alex looked to the ground and slid down a locker toward the floor.
"What did the locker ever do to you?" Logan asked.
"You know, this is your fault." He responded. "If they knew what I was capable of they would be terrified of me and nothing like this would happen." He glared at Logan before putting his head into his folded arms.
Storm sat next to Alex and rubbed his back. "What about the whole school? Wouldn't they be afraid of you too?"
"It doesn't matter." He mumbled shaking his body trying to get Storm's hand off.
"It does to you."
"Yeah... but if I start defending everyone then they'll come after me."
"Actions have consequences." Logan said.
"Not helping." Storm replied.
Alex breathed out heavily and stood up. "I'm going to think this through." He looked at Logan before leaving for the cafeteria. Grabbing his food, he sat with the group at a table.
"Are you back?" Blake asked.
"I think so."
"Good." He patted Alex on the back before taking a bite from his grilled cheese.
Dylan patted Blake's arm and pointed to a 5-year-old girl. "Fresh meat." He smiled.
"Can we not do this while we're eating?" Alex asked.
"What is with you today?"
"Nothing, I just want to eat in peace."
Dylan glared at him before sticking his leg out as she walked by tripping her. The table burst into laughter except for Alex. "Let me help you with that." Dylan asked, grabbing the carton of juice off the floor.
"Tha..." She was interrupted when he poured the juice on her head.
Alex got up and grabbed Blake's hand as he grabbed for her orange. "Don't do this Blake!" He growled.
"Let go, Alex!" he said sternly.
"Drop it!"
Blake head-butted Alex before uppercutting him onto a table across from them. Alex groaned as he rolled onto the floor. "I actually liked you!" He threw a punch causing Alex to catch his hand, Blake growled before kicking him towards the wall and punching him through the wall and into the lockers.
Blake walked out the hole in the wall but stopped when he saw Logan and Storm walking toward them. "You were a good friend, Alex." He spat on him as the group walked away.
"How did he even survive that?" Rebecca asked as they walked out the doors.
"I was holding back." Blake lied.
"Who cares, will get him next time." Dylan said.
"Yeah, well the boss won't be too happy we lost the target." Luke added.
"I don't want to be punished again." Aaron said.
"My hair." Rebecca whined holding her hair in her hands.
Back at the mansion Alex was helping the girl with her tray. "Are you alright?"
"Yeah..." She cried.
"Sorry about them." He hugged her. "What's your name?"
"Rachel."
"That's a beautiful name."
"Thank you." She sniffled.
"Rachel, you shouldn't have to deal with those guys anymore."
"How can you be so sure?"
"Because if they do, I will protect you."
"Promise?"
"Promise."
A year later
"Did you enjoy Christmas break with your family?" A 16-year-old Alex asked Rachel.
"Yeah, I did, my older sister got me this pendant." She smiled while holding up a teddy bear pendant.
"That's pretty."
"Yeah." She giggled. "I love it, I can't wait to go back in the summer."
"You won't have a chance." Dylan said behind them.
Alex turned around into a punch by Blake causing him to fall. "We were wanting to know how to punish you..." Dylan said. "Then we found out." He ran behind Rachel and grabbed her, pushing her to the edge of a 100-foot cliff and holding onto her shirt.
"You don't have to do this, Dylan!" He shouted, causing the other mutants above them to look at them. "Mr. Logan!" A kid yelled.
"You made the boss angry, and we got punished for it!" He yelled.
"Stop that!" Logan shouted running toward them.
"I'm begging you! I'm sorry, don't do this." He pleaded.
"Too late." He let go of Rachel sending her over the cliff.
"No!" He shouted diving off the cliff after her.
"Vacuum!"
Aaron's mouth opened as wide as it could before expanding down his body and a large suction started holding Alex in midair. "Rachel!" He cried.
Logan jumped in the air as he extracted his claws, landing on Aaron, he stabbed him in the head and the neck, ripping his claws out he decapitated him. Blake tried attacking him but got backhanded onto the ground, Luke tried to attack but dark clouds formed in the air as Storm hovered above them. "Rethink, your actions!" She said, her eyes white as snow.
A neck length haired Rebecca ran toward Logan, but a gust of wind knocked her over the cliff. "Dylan!" She screamed.
Dylan ran after her, catching her before running off. The rest of the group looked at their deceased friend and then at Logan who was breathing heavily as blood dripped onto the ground from his claws. "Go away!" He growled.
The rest of the group stumbled back before running off.
Storm landed behind Alex as Logan slid down beside her. "I'm so sorry." Alex cried, placing his head on Rachels. "I'll get them back for you."
Alex looked at the teddy bear pendant as the priest spoke at the funeral... He approached a couple and a teenage girl as the funeral ended. "I'm sorry I couldn't save your daughter." His voice echoed with sadness.
"It's not your fault." The mom hugged him through tears. "You were a good friend..." She held him by the arms. "We couldn't get her to stop talking about how great you were on Christmas break."
Alex's attempt to not cry went out the window as soon as he heard that, the mom hugged him again as he placed his head on her shoulder. "I'm so sorry."
A few minutes later they started talking about her again, and he even tried to give them the pendant, but they would not take it, giving it to him to keep. Logan and Storm walked towards him as the family walked away. "It's time to go." Storm placed her arm around him and placed her hand on his other shoulder.
On the flight home Alex looked out the window, his anger now taking over his sadness. "Revenge!" Wendigo growled. Alex clenched his fists together as tight as he could. "Revenge." He whispered.
As the jet landed in the garage, Alex leapt out of his seat and ran into the mansion. Grabbing his bag, he put his laptop and other essential items and equipment, grabbing the pendant from his dress pants he quickly walked out of his room and down the stairs.
"Where are you going?" Logan asked, stepping out of the kitchen.
Alex did not answer and headed toward the door. "Revenge isn't the best answer!" He yelled.
Alex stopped at the door and turned around. "None of this would have happened if you would have let me use my powers!" He shouted.
"You think being a rabid animal is good?!"
"Rachel would not be dead!" He yelled walking up the stairs.
"Actions have their consequences, you honestly think she would be alive if you used your powers?" He placed his hand on Alex's shoulder. "Revenge, won't make you feel better, it will make you feel empty."
Storm was putting on her night shirt when her door shattered into pieces as Logan flew through it and landed on the ground. "I shouldn't have said that." He groaned.
Storm's shirt blew up revealing her under boob as Alex appeared in the opening, his bone stuck out of his arm before his skin folded over it. "I already feel empty inside!" He fell on Logan and started beating him, his arms broke in half with each blow but would heal as he landed the next one. "Alex, stop!" Storm shouted trying to move closer, Logan raised his hand stopping her.
"I... hate...you! She...would...be...alive...if...it...was…not...for...you!" He shouted through punches.
"Alex stop." A Russian man spoke behind him. "I said stop!" The man grabbed his arm stopping the next punch.
"Get away from me!" He turned around and punched a silvered metal armored man spraying the walls with blood as his arm shattered into pieces. Whimpering, he held his upper arm as blood dripped to the floor. Looking behind the man he noticed the kids cowering in fear as they looked at him. "I hate you!" He roared before disappearing. He stopped on top of a hill facing the Mansion.
Logan opened the garage door and grabbed his keys. "Are you bringing him back?" Storm asked standing in the entrance of the house.
"Probably not..." He sat on his bike. "He needs to be with his own kind."
"Are you coming back?"
Logan took off his dog tags and threw them to her. "I am now." He smiled, starting his bike he drove off.
A month later Logan was walking through the woods when he spotted a cave with light coming out of it, walking in he found Alex curled on the floor with a giant burn on his back and the side of his torso. "Alex?" He quickly knelt. "Are you okay?"
He mumbled and tried to stand up. "No, no… Stay there." Logan looked around and found a metal table with medical supplies on it, picking him up he placed him on there and quickly fixed him up.
A few hours later Alex woke up with his torso wrapped up in some kind of compression wrap. "What happened?" He mumbled.
"You tell me?" Logan asked. Startled, Alex jumped off the table ready to defend himself. Logan stood with his arms folded across his chest looking at a wall full of pictures of buildings, and people, some had red 'X's' on them.
"Strip clubs, construction sites, junkyard… Hitman, bosses, mutants. You have yourself a business."
"Get away from there!" He tried walking forward but fell due to the pain.
Logan growled and walked toward him causing Alex to crawl backwards out of fear. "I'm not here to hurt you…" He grabbed him by the arm and lifted him back on the table. "I am here to help you."
"By stopping me?"
"I'm not trying to do that either, I want to bring you to someone who can help you with…" He looked around. "This."
"Thank you…"
"You're welcome."
"I'm sorry for losing my cool." Alex said.
"It happens to the best of us. I should not have hidden your abilities from everybody, and I am sorry."
"Thanks." He rested his head on Logan's arm.
The garage door opened as Logan reached the mansion. Walking inside he stopped in the kitchen and grabbed a beer from the fridge. "Two points." He threw the lid into the sink's garbage disposal.
Closing his door, he placed the beer on his dresser before emptying the pockets of his wallet, lighter, and phone. Taking off his shirt and pants he put them into the hamper and laid on his bed with a tired moan before closing his eyes. His door creaked open causing them to open again. "Logan?" Storm asked.
"'Ro?" He slid down to the foot of his bed.
"How is everything?" She walked in wearing a loosely tied robe.
"Good, I dropped him off. Everything should be fine." He reached toward his dog tags around her neck and held them.
"Oh, sorry." She tried to take them off but was interrupted.
"Keep them." He spoke. "It will give me a reason to keep on coming back."
Storm sat on his legs causing her robe to untie revealing her. "Promise."
Logan slid his hand over her cheek before kissing her, pulling away Storm pushed him on his back before kneeling against his chest kissing him.
