Chp 11. Royals and Sinners
"Stolas.", Blitz said as he topped him in Stolas's bed. Stolas daydreamed while Blitz had tied him up.
"STOLAS!", Blitz announced breaking Stolas out of his daydream. Stolas blinked his eyes rapidly as he looked up at Blitz.
"Y-Yes Blitzy?", Stolas said as he looked up at Blitz a few drops of sweat fell from his head.
"Am I doing something wrong? You seem really out of it today and not in a sexy kind of way.", Blitz said as he got off of Stolas and laid next to him.
"N-No it's not you it's just", Stolas took a deep breath, "something has just been plaguing my mind for a while now.", Stolas said as he stared up at the ceiling.
"Like what you having trouble counting your money or something?", Blitz said as he turned on his side to face Stolas.
"Do you understand what it means to be a parent Blitzy?", Stolas said as he continued to look at the ceiling.
"Yeah I do?", Blitz said as he quizzically frowned.
"Then you must know as a parent you must do what's best for them you have to protect them, let them grow to be themselves, and love them", Stolas paused as he looked to Blitz, "Via has a 'certain point' in her life Blitzy and I don't know what to do.", Stolas said as Blitz still looked confused.
"What do you mean a 'certain point' in her life? Just spit it out Stolas.", Blitz said as he began to untie Stolas from his bed frame.
"I believe she's started to think about dating already.", Stolas said as he sat up.
"Ohhhhh ssssshhhiiiitt.", Blitz said as he stopped untieing Stolas's legs to process what he just said.
"And I just don't know what to do I never really had any experience with the subject since I was forced into marriage.", Stolas said as Blitz finished untieing his legs.
"Well first thing's first who's the fucker she's after and do you want him dead? I mean it'll cost yeah but I could shove a shotgun up his ass and paint wherever he lives red.", Blitz said with a sadistic grin and chuckle.
"It's your new hire Blitzy", Stolas said as he looked at Blitz, "New hire wait you don't mean?", Blitz said as he had finally started to connect the dots in his head, "It's Kiryu Blitzy.", Stolas said as they both sat there in silence. A minute had passed as Blitz broke their awkward silence.
"Fuck", Blitz said as he looked down, "but he's a good kid Stolas it's not like he'd do anything to harm her.", Blitz said as he looked up at Stolas reassuringly.
"Yes but", Stolas took a deep breath, "that's usually when he's more rational Blitzy we both know how he acts when he's", Stolas was starting to have trouble finding the right word, "animalistic."
"But the kid has been keeping it under control Stolas if he were to fuck up and go batshit crazy I'd be the first to know since I'm his fuckin boss.", Blitz said as Stolas took another deep breath.
"I know Blitzy but-", Stolas was cut off as Blitz put his arm on his shoulder.
"If it puts you at ease Stolas once I'm back at the office I'll talk to him.", Blitz said as Stolas looked at him with a smile.
"Thank you Blitzy.", Stolas said as he looked at Blitz.
"Yeah yeah", Blitz said as he kissed Stolas, "Now I gotta get going I need to be in the office in an hour I'll call you once I've gotten everything you'd need to know..", Blitz said as he finished getting dressed and left. Once Stolas heard Blitz drive away he threw on his robe and headed to his bathroom.
"Maybe I should get a second opinion on this", Stolas said as he made it to the bathroom, "I wonder if Asmodeus is available today? I mean he is the sin of lust so surely he should have some sort of knowledge on this.", Stolas said as turned on the water and took off his robe. Over at I.M.P Headquarters Kiryu laid on the couch scrolling through Sinstagram as he had an apple held up in the air by his tail, Loona was on her phone, and Moxxie and Millie were doing some target practice.
"Come on Moxxie you're good with guns but it doesn't mean you can't do a little bit of practice.", Millie said as she crossed her arms.
"I know Millie but what if I hit Kiryu on accident?", Moxxie said as he lowered the crossbow.
"Trust me Moxxie it'll take a lot more than some arrow to hurt me.", Kiryu said as he continued to scroll through his socials.
"If you say so Kiryu.", Moxxie gulped as he aimed the apple. As soon as Moxxie fired Blitz slammed open the door.
"WHO'S READY TO-", Blitz ducked as the arrow nearly hit him and bounced around the room, "What the fuck Moxxie!", Blitz yelled as the arrow continued to bounce around the room. Everybody ducked as the arrow continued to bounce around the room. Said arrow was about to hit Kiryu right in the eye as he moved his head trying to get more comfortable. He then turns over and sees the arrow.
"Oh look an arrow", Kiryu pulled the arrow from the couch and stabs the apple with it, "damn good shot Moxxie.", Kiryu said as he ate the apple.
"We've just got the easiest job ever!", Blitz shouted as he raised his arms in the air, "but first Kiryu I need to see you in my office.", Blitz said as he walked to his office.
"Shit, what did I do now Blitz?", Kiryu said as he finished the apple and followed Blitz to his office. Kiryu closed the door once they both made it inside, "alright Blitz what's up now?", Kiryu said as he leaned against the wall.
"What's the deal between you and Stolas's daughter?", Blitz said as he kicked his boots up on his desk. Kiryu had to do a double-take as he looked at Blitz perplexed.
"W-What?", Kiryu stopped leaning against the wall, "did you just say what's the deal between you and Via?", Kiryu said still confused.
"Listen I gotta know what's going on between you two because if anything happens to her then that means Stolas won't let us use the book and if we don't have the book that means no more I.M.P.", Blitz said as he got his boots off his desk.
"Fine, what do you wanna know?", Kiryu took a deep breath and looked at Blitz.
"You two a thing or something?", Blitz said with a slight smirk.
"W-W-What!?", Kiryu jumped back a little embarrassed and confused by Blitz's straightforwardness.
"You two dating or whatever you kids call it these days.", Blitz said as he leaned back into his chair.
"No God end this torment already.", Kiryu said as he rolled his eyes and sighed.
"Well, you're gonna want to get a comfortable kid because I've still got a shit ton of more things to ask.", Blitz said as he cracked his fingers.
"Fuck.", Kiryu muttered under his breath as he lowered his head.
"So how long have you two been 'friends' for exactly?", Blitz said as he gestured with his hands when he said friends.
"I don't know maybe like a month or so?", Kiryu said as he leaned against the wall again.
"Alright then you know any general things about her then?", Blitz said as he placed both his elbows on the desk and held his head with his hand.
"General things?", Kiryu said as he confusedly looked at Blitz.
"Shit like hobbies, or places she likes to go.", Blitz said as his face palmed.
"I don't know she likes to make music I guess.", Kiryu said as he looked away at the door to Blitz's office. As Blitz continued to ask about Kiryu and Octavia's relationship Stolas sat in Asmodeus's office waiting for him.
"Oh I do hope I made the right call with Blitzy.", Stolas muttered under his breath as he looked off to the side. After waiting for a few more minutes Asmodeus opened the door looking like shit.
"Alright Stolas, can you make this quick? I've got so much shit going on today from making new dildos to making better Fizzarolli sex bots.", Asmodeus said as he slumped down into the chair facing Stolas.
"Oh yes apologies I'll make this as quick as possible", Stolas said as he took a deep breath and then looked up at Asmodeus, "do you know anything about teen love Asmodeus?", Stolas asked quickly getting Asmodeus's attention.
"Teen love?", Asmodeus asked as he leaned closer to Stolas.
"Yes, due to you being the sin of Lust, I had thought you'd have some sort of knowledge on the subject.", Stolas said as he fixed his posture.
"I mean I do with being the sin of lust and all that but why is it that you came to me asking about teen love?" Asmodeus paused as it clicked, "Wait, is this about your daughter Octavia?" Asmodeus said as he leaned back into his chair and crossed his arms.
"Yes sigh yes it is about her", Stolas looked off as he took another deep breath before returning to look at Asmodeus, "you see Asmodeus I believe she's umm getting to that stage in her life when she umm she.", Stolas started to begin having trouble finishing his sentence as Asmodeus finished it for him.
"Dating?", Asmodeus said with a smile on his face.
"Yes, but I don't know what to do Asmodeus. I've never had to go through that stage in my own life then it's also who she's been taking a liking to as well that worries me.", Stolas said as he slumped into his chair.
"Well Stolas it's natural for her to go through such things, she is still a teenager after all", Asmodeus said as he fixed his posture, "Now tell me who has gotten the young girl's heart?", Asmodeus said as he leaned closer to Stolas.
"Well, he goes by the name Kiryu Asmodeus and-", Stolas was cut off right as Asmodeus spoke over him.
"Kiryu? I don't think I've ever heard a Goetia go by that name before." Asmodeus said as he leaned back into his chair and started to think.
"Well you see Asmodeus Kiryu isn't part of the Goetia family", Stolas said as suddenly Asmodeus stopped thinking and looked at Stolas both with curiosity and worry, "Kiryu's a sinner Asmodeus.", Stolas said he took a deep breath and looked at the floor. Back at the I.M.P Office Kiryu could be seen slamming his head into the the wall continuously as Blitz continued to pester him with question after question after question.
"She got a favorite color?", Blitz asked.
"I don't know.", Kiryu said as he continued to slam his head into the wall.
"What's her favorite food?", Kiryu responded in a monotone voice as he slammed his head into the wall again.
"What does she like to do on the weekends?", Blitz asked starting to take enjoyment from Kiryu's suffering.
"God kill me now please I can't stand this fucking torture any longer.", Kiryu said as slammed his head into the wall again.
"Come kid I've only got about a few 100 or so questions left!", Blitz said as he started to laugh.
"FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKK!", Kiryyu screamed out as Moxxie and Millie looked at the door to Blitz's office confused for a moment then went back to their phones. Now back at Asmodeus's office, Stolas looked at the ground a bit saddened.
"Oh shit, he's a sinner? Your daughter is head over heels for a sinner? Damn, that complicates so many things." Asmodeus said as he got off his chair and gestured for Stolas to do the same.
"It doesn't help that he also has a few problems of his own, especially that anger of his.", Stolas said as Asmodeus placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Well has this Kiryu ever got angry or even aimed his anger at Octavia before Stolas?", Asmodeus said as he looked down at Stolas.
"No he has never he's usually quite happy in fact.", Stolas said as he looked up to Asmodeus.
"Then there should be nothing to worry about Stolas although the fact that he's a sinner doesn't help things but that'll be something to worry about in the future.", Asmodeus said as he walked Stolas to the exit of his office.
"I suppose you're right Asmodeus.", Stolas said as he smiled.
"In fact why not invite the boy to dinner? Then you can ask him anything else you might want to know about him Stolas.", Asmodeus said as he opened the door.
"That does sound like a good plan. I think I'll get on that right away, Asmodeus.", Stolas said as he walked out the door and returned to the Goetia mansion.
"I wonder how Blitzy is doing with Kiryu? Hmmm.", Stolas thought as he knocked on Octavia's door. Back at I.M.P HQ Kiruu could be seen slamming his hands onto Blitz's desk.
"You know what I fucking done you ask another question and I'll throw you out the fucking window so help me-", Suddenly Kiryu's threats stopped as he felt his phone buzz. He sighed as he flipped off Blitz and stepped out of his office. He checked his phone to see a text from Octavia.
"You wanna come over for dinner at my place?", Ocatvia's text read. Kiryu stood there a bit perplexed but sighed with a slight smile on his face.
"Sure I'm down.", Kiryu texted.
"Great come by my place by 6 see you then." Octavia texted.
"K.", Kiryu texted as he put his phone away and stormed out of the office. Once Kiryu was out of I.M.P HQ he went into an alleyway and started to blow off some steam the only way he knew how. He started break-in shit. He punched the wall leaving a hole where his fist was, he kicked a trash can so hard it went flying across the Pride Ring, and finally, he let out a roar filled with frustration. After all of that, he was finally able to calm down as he took a few deep breaths.
"Fuck I need that duck.", Kiryu said as he vanished from the ally and reappeared in his room. He went to his nightstand and opened it revealing a small yellow rubber duck.
"Hello old friend.", Kiryu said as he picked up the duck from the nightstand and closed it too. He went and sat on his bed as he stared at the duck. He could hear Charlie's voice ring in his ear as he squeezed the duck. Quack the sound of the rubber duck filled his room as he squeezed it. Quack again the noise filled Kiryu's room. Kiryu repeated this process a few more times as he felt his anger finally leave him. Kiryu smiled as he looked at the rubber duck.
"Thanks, old friend.", Kiryu said as he put the rubber duck away in his nightstand. He'd stretch his arms and leave his room. He went straight for the bar Husk saw Kiryu head for the bar and already started making him his drink. Kiryu waved at Husk as Husk nodded his head.
"Thanks, Husk.", Kiryu said as he leaned against the bar. He picked up the glass and immediately he smelt sweet caramel and vanilla notes, balanced by hints of oak, toasted nuts, and subtle spices. Once the glass touched his lips and took a sip from it the taste of sweet corn, caramel, and vanilla complemented by a gentle warmth from the alcohol filled his mouth. As he swallowed it he noticed hints of toasted oak, maple syrup, and a touch of peppery spice, adding layers of complexity to the experience. Soon enough Angel Dust walked up to the bar and joined Kiryu Husk, who poured Angel Dust a drink for him as well.
"So Kiryu had that party go? You've been in and out of the hotel so much you haven't told us how that party went.", Angel Dust said as he took a sip from his drink.
"Yeah how'd it go Kiryu?", Charlie asked as she walked towards the bar too. Inevitably the rest of the hotel all gathered around from Sir Pentious to Nifty. Kiryu took another sip from his drink as he told the story of his and Octavia's night.
"Oh yeah I have been pretty busy", Kiryu said as he bashfully rubbed the back of his head, "but it went great me and Via talked, had a few drinks, ate some food, danced, and gazed at the stars.", Kiryu said as he looked off to the side hiding his face specifically.
"Well well you're a real charmer ain't ya Kiryu!", Angel Dust said as he playfully got Kiryu in a headlock and ruffled his hair.
"H-Hey watch the hair!", Kiryu said as he tried to get out of Angel Dust's headlock. This time Kiryu didn't freeze up when Angel Dust touched him too. Maybe things were finally starting to get better for Kiryu. Maybe Hell was starting to start to seem less like Hell. Then Kiryu was able to escape Angel's headlock. They both laughed Angel Dust had Husk make them a few more drinks. Soon enough everyone had a drink of their own as they enjoyed each others time. Kiryu especially now realizing that with all of them here it was like being with family. A good family that is. He still wanted to see his mother once more, but with all of them here from Angel Dust, and Charlie to hell even Alastor and Sir Pentious. This new family had accepted Kiryu despite his flaws and issues. Things were finally starting to look good maybe he had finally found the light out of his dark tunnel. As they all continued to talk and share drinks Kiryu's phone buzzed. He looked to see that Octavia had texted him.
"Kiryu are u coming over or what?", Octavia had texted. Kiryu looked at the time and noticed he was 10 minutes late to go have dinner with her and her family.
"Shit my bad got distracted on my way now.", Kiryu texted as he downed the rest of his drink.
"Gotta go guys I've gotta go have dinner with Via's family bye.", Kiryu said as he fixed his hair and started his conjuration.
"Good luck kid!", Angel Dust said as he raised his glass as Kiryu's body enveloped in a light blue blaze and vanished. Soon Kiryu appeared in the front of the Goetia mansion. He knocked on the door expecting a butler to open it but this time it was Octavia who had opened the door. She yanked him inside and grabbed his hand leading him to the dinning hall.
"Via I'm so sorry I-", before Kiryu could start to apologize Octavia spoke over him.
"I know you're sorry just don't let this happen again okay?", Octavia said as she looked over to Kiryu. Kiryu nodded his head as then they had finally reached the dining hall. Octavia took her seat between Stolas and Stella.
"Kiryu I'm so glad you could make it please have a seat.", Stolas said as he gestured for Kiryu to sit down. He quickly did and then he noticed who else was there by her horrid voice.
"Great we're dining with killers now how far must you drag the Goetia name down Stolass.", Stella said. Stolas rolled his eyes as Kiryu he clenched his fists and then slowly unclenched them as he sighed.
"Thank you for having me here Stolas", Kiryu said as he glarred at Stella who crossed her arms and grunted, "I gotta apologize for holding you all up just had a real busy day today.", Kiryu said as he pulled his chair closer to the table.
"It's alright Kiryu I've been quite busy myself today as well.", Stolas said with a slight chuckle. All of them had sat in silence after Stolas spoke. Kiryu looked at Octavia and noticed that she had also noticed how awkward everything was starting to get. Kiryu sighed knowing he had to be the one to take charge and end the silence between them all.
"Soooo Via, how was your day?", Kiryu said with a smirk on his face. Octavia may have not said it but her face before she had spoken read Fuck You. Octavia sighed as she responded to him.
"It's been good I was able to work on our song a little bit today.", Octavia said with a slight smile.
"Oh really? What were you able to work on?", Kiryu said as he perked up. Kiryu's mood had made a complete 180 the moment Octavia had talked about the song.
"I was able to work on the chorus a little bit today.", Octavia said, now fully smiling.
"That's awesome!", Kiryu exclaimed already forming some sorta way for him and her to continue to work on it.
"I've heard both of you work on that song for quite a while now it's so nice to see the both of you take such pride in your work.", Stolas said as he quickly glanced at both Kiryu and Octavia.
"Thanks, Stolas but the majority of it was worked on by Via.", Kiryu said as he looked over at Octavia.
"Come on, Kiryu, if it weren't for your guitar and singing, then we wouldn't have been able to get this far.", Octavia said with a slight blush on her face.
"I know you play the guitar Kiryu but you can sing as well?", Stolas said as he looked over to Kiryu.
"Yeah but I'm not as good as I was when I was a human since I haven't been practicing all that much either.", Kiryu said as he rubbed the back of his head with a slightly bashful smile.
"Well I'd love to hear you sing some time Kiryu.", Stolas said as soon as their staff brought in their food.
"Finally now that ear bleeding conversation is over.", Stella said as she started to eat. Kiryu hissed under his breath as he closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Soon, Stolas and Octavia got their plate as well. Once Kiryu opened his eyes, he saw his plate set in front of him. Thankfully, for Kiryu, this time, the food wasn't dead and raw. Kiryu stuck his fork into the cooked meat first and ate it. Once the food entered his mouth, he realized that there was some sorta of steak or something very close to it. A rich, beefy flavor with hints of caramelized crust from the searing process, the natural juices of the steak mingle with savory seasonings, creating a symphony of flavors that dance across his taste buds. Kiryu swallowed the piece and went for another bite. The room had gone quiet as they all ate. As they ate Stolas eye's widden as he looked to Octavia.
"I almost forgot Via tomorrow I'll have to be down in Wrath for the Harvest Moon Festival, so you'll have to stay with your mother for that day.", Stolas said as the look on Octavia's face changed from one of joy to one of sadness. Kiryu quickly noticed and swallowed his food as he spoke.
"Or she can hang out with me for the whole of tomorrow until you come back Stolas.", Kiryu said as he cleaned his face with a napkin.
"That's not a bad idea I'll just be with Kiryu for the day, then once you return I'll be back at home, Dad.", Octavia said as she put down her fork and stopped eating.
"No I forbid it! Octavia, you've been him for far too long! Any more and what will people think? The more you two are with each other, the more the Goetia name gets dragged into the dirt!", Stella said as she slammed the table.
"Stella do you really have to do th-", Stolas was about to address Stella but Kiryu had cut him off.
"I know you already hate me ma'am but I will not let you control her like she's some dog on a chain.", Kiryu said as he stood up from his chair.
"Like you're any different! Who's to say you're not controlling her right now!", Stella said as she stood up from her chair as well.
"I'm not controlling her I'm looking out for her! As her friend, I have to look out for her as she does for me as well!", Kiryu said as he clenched his fist.
"You a sinner looking out for her?", Stella said as she laughed in Kiryu's face.
"So what if I'm a sinner? If I were still human I'd look out for her either way! I'd lay down my life for her damnit!", Kiryu slammed his fist onto the table.
"I can't believe what I'm hearing! I demand you out of here immediately!", Stella shouted as she slammed the table with her own fist as well.
"Fine then!", Kiryu said as he stormed out of the Goetia mansion.
"Kiryu wait!", Octavia shouted as she ran after Kiryu. Right as as he was about to though Stella grabbed her arm trying to make her stay but Octavia escaped Stella's grasp as she ran after Kiryu. Thankfully she was able to stop him before he opened the front door. Kiryu sighed as he turned around to face Octavia.
"I'm sorry Octavia I know I acted like such a di-", Kiryu's apology was cut short as Octavia hugged him.
"It's alright Kiryu…thank you for that…it really means a lot to me that you stuck up for me in front of my mum like that.", Octavia said as she hugged him tighter.
"Oh..yeah yeah no problem Via.", Kiryu said trying to play it off cool while hiding the slight red on his face.
"Think you'll be able to get here tomorrow before my Dad leaves?", Octavia said as she looked up to Kiryu.
"Yeah I promise wouldn't miss it for the world.", Kiryu said as he looked down at Octavia. While they spoke Stolas was around the corner eavesdropping on their conversation. He'd sigh as he smiled and walked off.
"If he's the one for you My Owlette then I'd gladly accept him in open arms.", Stolas said as he walked to his room. Once Stolas had left Octavia had stopped hugging Kiryu.
"But Octavia if anything ever happens between you and your mom call me alright? I'll drop whatever I'm doing and be by your side I promise that.", Kiryu said as he opened the front door to the Goetia mansion.
"Yes Kiryu.", Octavia said as she waved him goodbye. Kiryu then vanished in a light blue blaze and returned to his room back at the Hazbin Hotel. He was about to take off his jacket as his phone buzzed. He looked at who texted him.
"Great what do you want now Blitz?", Kiryu said as he opened Blitz's text.
"Here are some tickets for letting me bug you today. Looni didn't want them, so now there, yours kid.", Blitz's text read.
"Maybe you're not such a dickhead after all Blitz.", Kiryu said as he accepted the tickets Blitz had sent him and turned off his phone.
And this marks the end of chp 11! I think we all know what the next chp is going to be about already, so get ready! Also I'm still looking for a beta reader, too, lol. But moving on now with Kiryu and Octavia's relationship progressing, will it start to regress as well? Will Stella stop them? What has Vox been up to? Will the rest of the Hazbin cast figure out who Octavia is? Has Kiryu fucked up Octavia and Stella's relationship? What will the public think of a royal and a sinner together? Well you'll just have to figure it all out in chp 12! Also, I don't own either Godzilla or the characters used from Helluva Boss or Hazbin Hotel they all belong to their respective owners
