A/N Jessica's crying too much to be fully suicidal, as those with a death wish don't cry anymore. The ones who cry maybe can't find a reason to live, but don't actually want to die, which is Jessica on a bad day.

Jessica woke up in tears, wailing her heart out due to her worst nightmare. Her crew were notified by the firelighter, who found her wailing and sniffling, long and loud, so they could comfort her.

Jessica's fireman arrived first and found her tearstained and her face covered in fresh tears. He climbed onto her buffers, pulled out a cotton rag and said, "There, there, Jessica. It was a nightmare, so you're fine. Let it all out.", as he softly dried her tears. He gently rubbed her sodden cheeks and wiped her tear-filled eyes, listening attentively and doing his best to be present, imagining how she must feel.

Jessica wailed some more, fresh tears filling her eyes. She sniffled again, hard, coughed as she choked on her tears and hiccupped. She gasped and gulped, shaking with sobs as her fireman gave his comfort.

He said, as he continued to wipe her tears away, "I'm here for you, to wipe your pain away. No platitudes or empty promises to rush your healing, just my empathy and maybe even inspiration." He thought of contexts and any possible ways he could try to inspire her. He had to get the 2nd cotton rag, because Jessica's tears wouldn't stop. He pressed the rag he was using at the moment to her eyes and wiped all her tears away as best he could.

Jessica's driver came before she finished her cry and had to take over comforting her, because the fireman said, "My rags for her tears are soaked, so you've got to get up here with her cotton waffle hanky. She seems to have had a dreadful nightmare". Her driver climbed onto her buffers, pulled a cotton waffle cloth from his pocket and said, "There, there Jessica. I've got support and understanding for you. Though it was just a nightmare, I understand, so feel how you feel. Let it all out.", as he rubbed her cheeks and wiped her eyes. Then, he pressed the cloth to her eyes and wiped all her tears away as best he could, saying "Jessica, I know you feel deeply. I can use my emotions to connect with you and be supportive and understanding. I'm here for you.", as he held the cloth to her eyes and wiped all her tears away as best he could.

Jessica's tears flowed, not once stopping until she could wail and cry no more. Her driver dried her last tears away, wiping her cheeks and eyes until they were dry, then went back to the cab with the sodden cloth as the fireman gave her his inspiration. Her crew gave her a drink and did whatever else they needed to do to get her ready for her first train. Her face was red and her eyes were flame-red and puffy from her tears.

Jessica pulled her train to the end of line, then burst into wailing sobs after saying, "I'm the most worthless waste of steam ever built, so I deserved it all," referring to the abuse she relived that morning. Her face was wet with tears and she was all sniffly.

Jessica's driver climbed on her buffers to comfort her. "There, there Jessica. Go ahead and cry. I've got your cotton waffle hanky right here.". He rubbed her sodden cheeks and wiped her steaming eyes.

Jessica cried and wailed some more. She was sniffling hard, coughing, choking on her tears and hiccupping. She gasped and gulped, shaking with wailing sobs as she wept non-stop and let her driver comfort her.

He said, as he continued to wipe her tears away, "Remember what I said this morning." as he pressed the cloth to her eyes and wiped all her tears away as best he could.

Jessica wept and wailed until she had no more tears to cry. Her driver dried her last tears away, wiping her cheeks and eyes dry of tears, then went back to the cab with the sodden cloth. Her crew gave her a drink and their day went on.

Jessica's time for Dr. Tom's therapy session came.

Dr. Tom said, "How are you, Jessica?"

Jessica said, "Dreadful. I had a flashback nightmare of the worst abuse I ever suffered.", then she began to cry, wailing loudly and sniffling as huge tears poured from her eyes in torrents.

Dr. Tom said, "Well done, Jessica. Let the pain fall from your eyes. I love how you cry so deeply. All those tears from your eyes come from the deepest depths of your heart. Those who cry the most do the best in therapy. Let your feelings come out of your eyes. I quite like seeing your torrents of tears, because of what it means. Someday, you'll feel quite a lot better."

Jessica's driver dried her tears, saying, "Cry as much as you want, because therapy's time for you to be who you are and feel how you feel."

Jessica finished her cry and the session went on. Dr. Tom eventually said, "Our time's up." and they each went on with their respective day.

Jessica came to the end of the day and wailed herself to sleep with her driver's comfort.

A/N When it's reasonable, Jessica will show real improvements, like enjoying things again.
