Elijah and I have been talking pretty much for these past few days and it has been really calming. Knowing Kol is dead still hurts like hell, but being here has soothed the pain a little. The only thing is that sometimes, Elijah gets these messages and a huge smile just appears on his face.

I am going to be honest, I think Elijah is seeing someone. I have not seen a plaster of joy on his face in a very long time. Maybe the last time was when he was smitten with this girl in New Orleans, but that was ages ago.

"Are you ever going to tell me who keeps giving you that smile every day?" I asked curiously, as Elijah was looking at his phone once again.

Elijah looks up to me, as he puts down his phone. "I think it's better you don't know sister."

"Hmph." I state rolling my eyes.

"So...what's with this Alex guy?" Elijah asks. I guess now is a good time to talk about him, and I actually need a distraction from thinking about Kol.

"I basically told you everything the other day. The real question is whether or not you remember him." I question.

"No, I don't necessarily remember you liking someone named Alex. I do believe Niklaus mentioned his name to me once or twice, but I cannot put a face on him." Elijah states, as I look at him with curiosity. "I remember us being in that town, but I also remember not quite seeing you that much when we were."

"Well, I don't remember where I was, but apparently I was with him the whole time." I explain.

"So, you remember that town, but not that parts of you being with him?" Elijah asks and I nod. "How do you know he is telling the truth?"

"Believe me, I asked myself the same thing. But he knew some things about me, some things I never even told anyone else." I explain and he nods. "Also, it connects with the whole Rose thing. How she said I killed him, as father came to their town shortly after and slaughtered them."

Elijah face changes to a face of realization. "What did you say?"

"Father came to their town and slaughtered his people, and him." I state again and Elijah looks away from me with fear in his eyes. "Elijah what is it?"

"What did you say his first name was again?" He asks.

"Alexander?" I stated, and Elijah's eyes widened.

"That can't be." Elijah shook his head no, and I looked at him with confusion.

"What are you talking about?"

"Alexander died." Elijah stated, and I squinted my eyes at him.

"Uh, duh. That's the whole point of becoming a vampire." I stated it obviously.

No, no. When he was in New Orleans," Elijah stated, and now my eyes widened.

"What do you mean when he was in New Orleans?"

"He died in the fire, along with everyone else...he had to..." Elijah trails off and I look at him, needing some answers.

"Elijah!! What's going on? When was he in New Orleans?" I asked, confused, and Elijah looked at me solemnly.

This makes even less sense. Three hundred years ago, I get not remembering. But New Orleans? I haven't forgotten anything about that city, especially because it was the last city I was in before Mikael captured me and I was daggered.

"Alexander, or Alex. He met with you in New Orleans. I remember now...oh my goodness." Elijah states and I still look at him for more answers. "At first when he arrived looking for you, I had not recognized him. But after he explained, I started to remember our first interaction in the woods. He went to go see you, and you were so happy. I swore I had never seen you so happy like that before in my life." Elijah explains with a smile, and I give him a small smile back, before I go back to my questioning face.

"Than what happened?"

"You guys did not get to spend a lot of time together, as father found us less than two days later. I remember you freaking out when you could not find him, and how broken you looked. I tried to help you find him, but it was too late...or at least I thought it was." Elijah states and I look at him confused. "Niklaus told us that he was in the fire. That he could not get him out in time...and that he had died."

"What?" I ask him confused and he nods.

"Shortly after that, you know we ran away. You were so heartbroken though, that you could not think straight. So when father eventually found us...you were not in the right mindset fighting." Elijah explains and I suddenly start to remember the fight. That dream I had about father saying his name. "But once father got the advantage of me, you got your head straight again. You started fighting like your life depended on it. You actually almost won the fight...until—"

"Until he said his name." I state in realization.

"Do you remember?" Elijah questioned, and I shook my head no.

"Not really, just in a dream I had a while ago." I explain and Elijah nods. This is all..just a lot to take in. Why did Alex never talk about this? "Wait, this still does not explain why I don't remember any of this?"

Elijah looks at me for a moment, like he is questioning whether he wants to talk or not. I start to get tired of it.

"Elijah, talk." I state in a serious tone.

Elijah takes a deep breath, before talking. "Niklaus...he—"

My phone than starts ringing. I look to see it's Nik calling. Speaking of the devil...

"Answer it Kalle." Elijah demands and I look at him with frustrated.

"I don't want to talk to him." I state.

"You do, if you want to hear the rest of this story." Elijah states as an ultimatum and I look at him with anger. I sigh in frustrated.

"Fine." I state, answering the phone. "What is it Nik and you better not be asking for that cu—"

"KALLE I NEED YOUR HELP!" Niklaus screams frantically in the phone and my annoyance quickly goes away.

"Nik what's wrong?" I ask worriedly. He seems like he's in distressed and Elijah can tell as well.

"SILAS! HE—STABBED ME WITH THE WHITE-E OAK AND THERE IS STILL A PI-IECE SCRATCHING MY HEART!" Niklaus scream in frantic and Elijah starts to get worried now. All of this makes no sense.

"How the hell did he get the stake?"

"BECAUSE OUR BABY SISTER DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO KEEP HER MOUTH SHUT! I HAVE BEEN IN THIS SCORCHING PAIN FOR HOURS AND SILAS WON'T LET ME GO UNTIL HE HAS THE CURE!" Niklaus pleads in anguish. Hours? If a piece of the stake was still in his heart, his body would be desiccating right now...wait. Silas, he is a witch. A powerful one who can...ohhhh.

"And you're telling me that he needs this cure for what exactly?"

"HOW THE HELL WOULD I BLOODY KNOW! CAN YOU PLEASE JUST GIVE ME THE LOCATION FOR THE CURE?" Niklaus begs, but me knowing what's going on now, I feel less terrible.

"You know...I would love to Nik, but I don't have it. Katherine does." I state and I can hear him scream in pain. Shows him right for how he has been acting since Kol and I have gotten back here. "But I will track her down for you.

"FIND HER!!!" Niklaus screams.

"I will. Now I gotta go and please don't let it dig in deeper. Okay bye." I state.

"WAIT!" Niklaus states, before I hang up. That was satisfying.

"You know something." Elijah states and I nod at him.

"Silas is a witch who can read people's mind. But he can also get into people's mind, making them think things that aren't there, are." I explain.

"Ah, so he doesn't have a piece of the white oak in him." Elijah states.

"Nope. It would make no sense for him to anyways. If Silas wants the cure and is using him, he is no use dead." I explain. "Let's get ready to leave."

"And go where...?" Elijah questions and I look at him with a smile.

"To see your girlfriend of course. You're meeting her tomorrow, aren't you?" I state and Elijah looks at me confused. His confusion quickly turns to realization.

"You know about Katherine, don't you?"

"Of course I know about Katherine! You think you're going to hide a girl away from me and I'm not going to snoop though your phone? I just kept questioning you to see if you would tell me yourself, but guess not." I state shrugging my shoulders.

"Can you blame me?" Elijah questions and I shake my head no.

"It still hurts though." I state with a sad voice and he rolls his eyes.

"Fine you can come. But no mocking." Elijah commands waking to the back to grab his things, and I give him a fake gasp.

"I would never." I state dramatically, walking shortly behind him. I can hear the annoyance in his little grunts. I mean out of all people to go back to though, Katherine?

Like come on, you are basically going out with satan.

Well, I decide to get some rest, before we head out. It's kinda hard thinking about the whole Alex situation. Just when I thought I was starting to figure it all out. It still makes no sense why he would not tell me he was in New Orleans with us.

I guess it is not important now. I need to head back and decide what I am going to do with that stupid cure. Maybe I should just give the cure to Bex and let Mystic Falls die in a dumpster fire. I mean they were the ones who decided to release Silas in the first place.

But than he would go after the rest of the world...which I don't particular like at the moment. However, I live here so...

So many options...
