Helena woke up the next morning feeling nauseated. She knew that she wasn't hungover because she had one shot and a half of a beer before they had both started to make her feel sick the night before. The alcohol hadn't even touched her. Helena went downstairs where Leon was making coffee for them.

"Hey, where's Aliya?" she asks as the dog came over to greet her.

"I dropped her off at soccer practice and then she's going to hang out at Maya's until the bonfire."

Helena didn't say anything as Leon handed the coffee to her and Helena immediately dropped it upon smelling the liquid, the cup shattering on the hard wood flooring, the coffee splattering everywhere as she ran for the bathroom. Leon stood there confused until he heard Helena vomiting in the bathroom, and he rushed to her aid, holding her hair back as she emptied what little contents she had in her stomach.

"A little hungover, huh?" He teased as she finished vomiting.

"No, I'm not. I had one shot and half a beer last night and I ended up being the DD." She says, getting up and washing her hands, not noticing that Leon was gawking at her.

"Really? Not even a little tipsy?"

"No," she says, moving into the kitchen and starting to clean up the shattered mug and the coffee from the floor.

"Let me clean it up, all right? You just relax."

"No, it's fine. I feel fine now." She lies, gulping as she fought the urge to vomit all over the floor.

"Nice try but I know you. Now go relax."

Helena sighed, "fine."

Leon chuckled as she got up and went to sit on the couch to read her book that had been on the coffee table.

"So, we have no kid to take care of today. Did you want to do anything in particular?"

"No honestly I just want to stay in and relax."

"Do you want anything to eat?"

Helena sighed, "Leon if I need anything I will tell you but right now I am fine."

Leon put his hands up in surrender as if to tell her that he was going to stop talking. Helena groaned as the nausea returned and Leon got her a trash can so that she didn't have to keep getting up to run to the bathroom. Helena promptly threw up in the can and curled up on the couch holding her stomach. She hated being sick and feeling so weak. She was supposed to be some strong government agent and here Leon was coddling her.

"Hey, in sickness and in health. I meant it." He says, knowing exactly what she was thinking.

The two stayed on the couch watching TV together and Leon had gotten them takeout for dinner, which would have been great until Helena got sick again. Leon made a mental note to force Helena to see a doctor if she wasn't better in a couple of days. At one point Leon looked over to see that Helena had fallen asleep on the couch and he immediately carried her up to their room, deciding that it was time for the two of them to go to bed.

Leon locked the front door since he knew that Aliya had her house key and turned the light off in their bedroom, crawling into bed beside Helena and allowed himself to drift off, unbeknownst to him that Aliya would be missing curfew.

When Leon awoke the next morning, he got up and went down the hall and investigated Aliya's room to find that her bed hadn't been slept in at all, nor had she even come home. Leon checked his phone, hoping that he had missed a phone call or a text from her that she had decided to stay at a friend's house, only to have no such message. The blond went back into their room and shook Helena's shoulder.

Helena groaned, cracking open her eyes as she looked up at him, "Leon? What is it?" she asked, sitting up and forgetting about her nausea when she saw how serious he looked.

"Aliya didn't come home last night. Did she call or text you?"

Helena grabbed her phone off the nightstand, scrolling through it to see if she had any calls or texts only to come up with none.

"Uh no. I have nothing."

Oh, she was in big trouble when she got home.

"She knows to call or text! I told her before she left and when I agreed to let her go that she needed to call or text one of us if plans changed! Oh, when she gets home, she's grounded and isn't allowed to go to any of these things for a while!" He started going on a tangent as he felt himself starting to get angry and Helena got up and placed a hand on his arm.

"Yes, she knows that she needs to call or text, and we will deal with it accordingly. However, she's sixteen and these things happen. She was having fun, lost track of time, and slept at Maya's or Trevor's and forgot to call. Let's each try and call her and then" she says, cutting herself off when she felt the vomit coming and rushing to the bathroom.

"Still not feeling great, huh?" he asked, his anger dissipating as he held her hair back.

"No, I don't know what's wrong."

"If you aren't better by tomorrow, you need to see a doctor."

"It's fine. I just caught the flu. Give me a few more days and if I'm not feeling better than I'll go."

"Alright fine. Now let's call Aliya."

Helena went downstairs with Leon and the two took turns on their phones calling the teen, only for every call to go right to voicemail. It was the third time that they called when Aliya stumbled through the front door. Her black hair was unkempt as if she had just rolled out of bed and she was wearing gray sweatpants and a white T-shirt that clearly wasn't hers.

"Where have you been young lady? Do you have any idea how worried we've been?" he asks, turning on his dad voice as Aliya rushed upstairs and the two agents followed.

"Yes, I know and I'm sorry. I'll accept my punishment, but I need to be alone." She says, sounding flustered as she walked faster and slammed her bedroom door, locking it behind her.

Aliya sighed as she went to sit on her bed. The bonfire was a blur to her and the next thing she knew, Maya's mom dropped her and Trevor off at his house and the two ended up in bed together. Until last night, she had thought of Trevor as her best friend, even a brother, but now she wasn't sure how she felt. Sure, she thought he was cute and had a crush on him the year before, but she thought she had gotten over it.

Now she fucked up their friendship. Aliya pulled her knees up to her chest, drowning out Leon's furious knocking on the door.

"I can't believe this. She's not even sorry! She just brushed me off."

"Okay, Leon, I will handle this. I know that she will talk to me, and she needs a girl to talk to."

Leon sighed and relented, going downstairs to make himself some coffee and Helena waited for him to be gone before she knocked on Aliya's door.

"Aliya, it's me. Can I come in?" she asked, waiting until she heard Aliya give permission and entered, closing the door behind her.

"So, want to tell me why you were late?"

Aliya sighed, "I lost track of time and I slept at Trevor's."

"Is that all? You reek of alcohol."

Aliya looked away, "how did you know you liked Leon? As more than a friend?"

"Well," Helena starts, grabbing the chair from Aliya's desk and sitting down, "we worked together a lot and we got to open to each other. There's also the fact that he didn't turn me in when I was forced to help assassinate the president at the time to save my sister. It was a lot of things, why? Did something happen at the bonfire?"

Aliya peered up at her, "I lied about there not being alcohol or an adult there because I knew you would say no if I said the wrong answer. We got drunk and Maya's mom picked us up and dropped me and Trevor off at his place when I asked her to because I knew if I stumbled in drunk, you would kill me."

"Aliya, we wouldn't have killed you. Disappointed? Yes, but we'd care more that you go home safe above anything."

Aliya nodded, "anyway, me and Trevor kissed, and we ended up, well…oh please don't make me say it!"

Helena crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow at the teen, trying her best to think before reacting.

"You two had sex?"

"Yes, and please don't tell Leon. He's overprotective which I usually don't care about but in this case, he won't let Trevor step foot into the house ever again or let us even be alone again."

"Well, I don't think that he'd go that far, but your secret is safe with me until you decide to tell him. However, as your guardian I need to ask questions," she starts, leaning forward and folding her hands in front of her, "did you guys use protection?"

"Yes, that part I remember vividly," she nods, sitting criss cross on her bed.

"Alright, how do you feel about it? Do you feel taken advantage of? Pressured? Do you think you'll do it again?"

"I don't know, maybe? I didn't even wait for Trevor to wake up, I just grabbed some of his clothes because I couldn't find mine and I ran. I wanted to do it though. Even though we were drunk he kept asking me if I was sure."

"Well, that's a good guy right there."

"Would you mind taking me to the doctor one day? On Monday? Just in case me and Trevor do become something more?"

Helena smiled, "of course and Leon doesn't even have to know."

Aliya smiled as Helena got up, "Thanks."

Helena nodded and got up, stopping and turning to the teen when she got to the door as if she just remembered something.

"Oh, before I forget,"

"Yeah?"

"You're grounded."
