Spyro wakes up a little dizzy due to his hunger. It was already morning and it was no longer raining. The sun warmed his scales and made him feel good. He gets to his feet, getting off Cynder, and licks her affectionately on the neck. She smiles and shifts a little in her sleep.

Spyro's stomach growls.

–I... I haven't eaten anything in a while. -He looks around for the deer he saw the day before and finds them several yards ahead. -Hmm... They look appetizing!

Before going to hunt them, he tests his legs, standing on his hind legs and then on his front legs. When he realizes that he has improved, he begins to walk, getting used to the impact of his massive muscles on the ground, then he begins to trot, and then to run gloriously, until at last he gets close enough to the deer and crouches down, hiding in the bushes so that he can ambush some against the wind for then to not detect then.

Spyro walks calmly with his legs bent, crouching, towards the deer. His tail swayed with pure excitement. He really enjoyed hunting.

Finally he was close enough to three deer who had become separated from the pack by carelessness. Spyro smiles and lunges at the larger one's neck and bites him, killing him almost instantly. The other two start to run, but are knocked down by Spyro's tail, which was strategically placed to capture them in case they escaped, which is what happened. In this way Spyro just holds one to the ground by wrapping his tail around it and starts squeezing it like a python, while biting and tearing the skin, flesh, nerves and neck muscles of the other. Spyro squeezes even tighter when he hears the deer's chest bones split, though he wasn't doing anything near all of his real strength.

Spyro then bites the paw of one and holds the hoove of the other with his paw, with the third, still alive, curled up and being crushed by his tail. He starts dragging them towards Cynder.

When he finally gets to Cynder, the deer he was crushing was still alive, so he just squeezed a lot harder and a loud noise of bones breaking and organs being pierced could be heard. He leaves them a few feet next to Cynder, licks his lips to wipe away the blood, and goes to wake her up.

"She'll love this!" He thinks as he's going to Cynder. He pokes her in the flank with his muzzle, enjoying the simple feeling of touching her.

Cynder starts moving, tossing and turning, waking up slowly. "Uh? S... Spyro? Oh! Hu... Good morning!" She soon smells the deer's blood and smiles. "What good smell is that?"

"Here!" He picks up a deer and drags it in front of her. "This one is all yours! Enjoy your meal! Hehe." His tail wagging.

"Wow! Thank you Spyro! I always hunted for my meals when I..."

"That's past Cyn! Now you are my companion, and I will do everything to make you happy!" He drags the other deer close to Cynder, lies down leaning his right flank against Cynder's left, and starts eating.

Cynder blushes and looks Spyro in the eye. "I say the same!"

The two eat both deer until only the bones remain. As they finish and clean themselves with the rainwater from the day before, the two look at each other with a passionate look. Cynder leans in and rubs the top of her head over Spyro's chin. He smiles and licks her at her nape.

At that moment the brush in front of them stirs and a branch breaks.

Faster than Cynder's eyes could pick up, Spyro stands in front of her growling with his snout furrowed, baring his sharp and deadly teeth, with his wings spread to cover Cynder, trying to protect her from a possible attacker.

Cynder was startled by Spyro's sudden movement, but feels protected when she sees him in front of her, with his head in front of his body, leaving him straight and with his wings completely spread. She gets up to help Spyro if she needed it.

"Get out of there, whoever it is!" -Roar, Spyro.

To their surprise, a tiger comes out of the bush walking half-crouched, looking suspiciously at Spyro.

Spyro growls even louder, alerting him and the tiger seems to get the message as he takes a step back and stands close to the ground in submission.

Cynder notices something in the tiger. "Spyro. He's too skinny! Look! He wants to eat! Must've smelled the deer!"

"But it's yours!"

"Don't worry, cutie! I'm very pleased with the deer I've eaten!"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes!"

Spyro keeps looking at the tiger. Then he makes a motion with his head towards the deer, consenting to the tiger to eat.

The tiger understands and walks slowly, still in submission, towards the deer. Upon reaching it, he looks again at Spyro, who was lying down next to Cynder again, and begins to eat.

When finished, the animal realizes that Spyro's tail, which was next to the deer, had a wound, as well as his entire body. Then he goes to it.

Spyro wasn't paying attention as he was stroking Cynder as the tiger licks his tail wound with its rough feline tongue, but very calmly.

Spyro gets a fright and looks at the tiger. He seemed to be thanking him for the meal, so afterwards he turns and disappears into the tall bushes.

"What was that?!" Spyro was outraged by the tiger's act.

"I think he was thanking you. Or saw that you're hurt and wanted to make it back." Cynder gives a little laugh. "Or he was her! HAHAHAHA!"

"Hahahaha! Wow... It's been a long time since i've laughed!"

Cynder looks at him with a swaggering face. "Oh yeah?" She gets up and starts walking to Spyro with mischievous intend.

"Wh... What will you..."

She jumps on top of him before he completed the sentence, knocking him down and gets on top of him, pinning him down.

Spyro was actually paralyzed underneath Cynder, giggling. She then proceeds to tickle his spleen region with her hind leg.

"Hah! HAHAHAHHA! S... Stop Cynder!"

"Uh? What? Want more? All right! HAHA!" She starts tickling his flank with one front paw as well.

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA! CYNDER! AHAHAHA!" He shook himself frantically, trying to free himself.

Cynder was laughing, amused to see tears come out of Spyro's closed eyes. Unintentionally she says something that she wanted to put in her mind. A small flawed act. "You're so beautiful..."

The two stop at the same moment and stare at each other. One, two, three minutes pass and Spyro breaks the silence.

"You are the most beautiful dragoness in the world!" He kisses her more deeply than the last time, hugging her with his wings and paws, very close.

The two keep kissing as if there are no more worries in the world. They were really very happy to be together at last, alone and in love with each other, without any other worries of war.

Not far from there, Terrador and Volteer land and sniffs the air it was not hard at all to find a purple dragon and a black dragoness on a green field.

"Found then!" -Warns Terrador, cracking a smile, when he smells the two of them. -This way!

Volteer follows him closely until he bumps into him when the big green dragon suddenly stops.

"Ouch! What the..."

"Shhh! Look!" Terrador stared at Spyro and Cynder, still kissing deeply. Cynder on top of Spyro and him with his back on the muddy ground from last day's rain.

"By the ancestors! I can't believe what I'm seeing! They're kissing! They became each other's mates! Incredible! Fantastic! Fascinating!" Whisper Volteer.

"They deserve it! Heh... Forget the idea of a room for each!" Terrador jokes looking at the two of them. He looks around the terrain and sees the rest of the deer. "They ate... Excellent."

Volteer takes the lead. "Let's make a surprise! Just imagine their faces!"

Terrador hesitates, but eventually gives in to temptation.

The two big dragons grow closer to the two in love, Volteer Leading. "Hello lovebirds!" He says.

Spyro and Cynder choke on each other's saliva as they are surprised like that. The two break off the kiss and turn their heads to the two guardians.

"Errr... Volteer! Terrador! Errrrrr... I'm so... HAPPY! That's it... Happy to see you!" Spyro was very embarrassed, but not as embarrassed as Cynder. "It's not at all what you're thinking!" Spyro's wings, which were hugging Cynder, blocked the view of their thighs, but he soon opens them, showing his whole body as if he didn't want to leave any doubts. "See?"

Volteer laughs a little and turns to Terrador. "Didn't I say? Their faces are the best! HAH!"

Cynder gets off Spyro. Her posture changing significantly as she stood before the guardians who fought against her in the past. She wasn't proud of anything, she condemned herself for it actually and couldn't stop thinking about how she was known to many. 'The Terror of the Skies.'

Terrador notices. "Cynder."

Cynder approaches him. "Terrador."

The Earth dragon looks at her and strokes her head. "Why are you like this, Queen of the Skies?"

"Queen...?"

"That's right!" Terrador smiles.

Cynder's eyes fill with tears. "Forgive me for everything I've done and..."

"That wasn't you! Don't condemn yourself, Cynder!" Says Terrador.

She sighs, joyful. "Thanks!"

Terrador then walks up to Spyro and hugs him with one front paw. "I was worried about you two!"

"I missed you!" Spyro hugs him, placing both front paws on Terrador's giant chest.

Terrador lets him go. "We need to go back to Warfang, because today, since we found you guys, it will be the..." He then falls silent, becoming somewhat crestfallen.

"Is it what Terrador?" Asks the purple dragon.

"Ignitus' funeral."

Spyro went silente then, looking down. He feels that feeling again that he felt when it happened. The feeling of powerlessness. Of overwhelming sadness at seeing the person he loved most being taken from him. The person he trusted most. His considerate father.

Terrador notices the really deep wounds on their bodies after a minute of silence with their spirits a little grayer. "You need medical assistance..."

"And water! I'm really thirsty!" Cynder recalls.

"Are you thirsty? Why didn't you tell me?" Spyro asked.

"I didn't mean to worry you. And there's no..."

Cynder is interrupted when she sees Spyro making na ice block on his own paw and holding it out to her.

"Spyro! You didn't have to..."

"Open up." Spyro's voice was actually weaker.

Cynder hesitates for a moment and then opens her mouth, looking diagonally up. Spyro places the frozen paw on top of Cynder's mouth and melts the ice with his internal heat, causing it to drip into her mouth.

She feels the drops run down her throat. But that water was different. The more she took, the stronger she became. She then deduced that it was due to be ice, or water, made by Spyro's life power, in other words, Spyro was giving power to her through the water.

After the water runs out, Spyro feels a lot weaker.

"Thank you, love! Thank you very much!"

"No... No need to thank you, Cyn!"

"Well... Let's go then! You need bandages!" Says Terrador. "Can you fly or..."

"No... We are very wounded. Our wings hurt!" Spyro replies.

"Don't worry then. We'll take you there."

"Thank you!" Says both.

Terrador and Volteer, to their surprise, wrap them in their massive mouths with extreme delicacy and take off towards Warfang after placing them on their backs.

Along the way, Terrador talks to Spyro. "Hey! Good job!"

"Uh?"

"Cynder"

"Oh! Hehe! In fact, she was the one who declared herself to me..."

"How?"

"In the lair, when everything was breaking, she stayed with me when I channeled convexity. At the end I heard her say, 'i love you.'"

"Yes. I feel it in the air! She really loves you a lot!"

"And I love her too! More than anything!"

"This is good! You are united!"

"I just... I'm following what Ignitus asked of us. 'Follow our hearts'."

"Yeah... He loved that phrase. And... There's something else!"

"Uh? What?"

"When you leave the infirmary, go to my room..." The green dragon looks at Cynder. "Alone."

"Why?"

"I Want... No. I NEED to tell you something..."

"Tell me what?"

–Well... Now that you and Cynder are mates, I need to tell you who is your..." Terrador hesitates.

"My what?!" -Spyro perks up.

"Your Father."

"WHAT!?"
