The day after Ginny, Henry and the Littles had celebrated Holi was a little calmer since Lucy, Tom and Henry were playing with Slick, Henry's pet turtle while Ginny was helping Grandpa Little and Dinky fix the latter's plane since he had accidentally crashed into a trash can while doing the last of his delivers for the morning which was why Dinky needed help getting his plane back home then fixed back up from his Uncle and friend since they both knew how to fix the plane which was a big help to him.

"I still don't understand how you did this." Ginny said as she lifted up her goggles, Dinky looked up from the wheels on the bottom. "That makes two of us. Everything was fine before that strong wind happened." Dinky replied as he scratched his head, hearing that made Grandpa Little look at the wings, and that's when he noticed the huge hole in the fabric. "Here's what happened." Grandpa Little said as he pointed to the hole in the wing, both Ginny and Dinky then realized that something had torn a hole into the fabric that helped make the wings fly. "How do we fix it?" Dinky asked his Uncle, Grandpa Little went to get the sowing supplies to help fix up the hole in the wings while Ginny and Dinky finished getting the dents out.

As the two got the dents out the plane, they talked about their interests since they didn't get to talk much to each other during the incident with Dr. Hunter, but now they had plenty of chances which is why Ginny wanted to know why Dinky loved to fly so much as well as why he loved being a pilot. "I guess flying gives me a sense of freedom that I'd never felt before." Dinky answered honestly, Ginny listened as Dinky remembered how he'd fly with his mother before she decided to leave him with Grandpa Little and his family which broke Ginny's heart to hear that her friend had basically been abandoned by his own mother since she hadn't wanted to take care of Dinky. "I don't really remember her, but I think that's for the best." Dinky added with a sad smile, Ginny dropped her hammer then gave Dinky the biggest hug that anyone had ever given him, and that made Dinky realize just how lucky he was to have people that cared about him in his life.

"You're not alone, but it's okay to be sad." Ginny told Dinky softly, the older Little hugged the young girl back as if she were his little sister. "I know, and your right. It's okay to be sad." Dinky responded as a few tears slipped down his face and onto Ginny's head, neither of them knew that Grandpa Little was listening to the conversation as they had thought he was still getting the sowing supplies. "We're both alright now." Ginny told him with a smile, Dinky agreed with her as he realized that they wouldn't ever be left alone again. "Guess we have more in common than I first thought." Dinky replied with a laugh, both Ginny and Dinky laughed together as they cheered the other up which made Grandpa Little smile before he entered the room.

Ginny helped sow the patch onto the wing of the plane since the hole was just a little too big to be fixed. "Now that that's done, it's time for a test flight." Dinky told Grandpa Little and Ginny, both of them nodded before opening the doors that lead out onto the roof of the house. "Be sure to check everything." Grandpa Little advised his nephew, Dinky did what every good pilot would do then started the plane, it moved down the runway slowly before picking up speed, and then it was soaring through the sky like it was supposed to. "It worked!" Ginny exclaimed happily, she and Grandpa Little cheered just as Dinky was landing back onto the runway since this was just a test flight, and not an actual one. "The planes as good as new." Dinky said with a huge smile on his face.

Dinky wanted to celebrate the fact that his plane was now fixed, and that he discovered that he had something in common with Ginny, but he didn't know what to do with his Uncle and friend to celebrate their success on patching the wing, until Grandpa Little found a hidden radio which he turned on then tuned into Dinky's favorite music station as a certain song that both Ginny and Dinky loved began to play as Dinky started a little dance along with Ginny following his steps as Grandpa Little watch them fondly with a smile that only got bigger as his nephew started to sing along with the song since it meant so much to him, and apparently Ginny as she continued to dance with Dinky.

[Play A World Of Your Own from Wonka]

[Dinky]

Close your eyes, and count to ten

Make a wish, now open them

Here's a store that's like no other

If it were, I wouldn't bother

Chocolate bushes, chocolate trees

Chocolate flowers and chocolate bees

Chocolate memories that a boy once saved

(Music)

Before they melted away

A world of your own

A place to escape to

A world of your own

Where you can be free

Wherever you go

Wherever life takes you

This is your home

A world of your own

(Music)

Here is the child that you left behind

Here is the kid with the curious mind

Here is the wonder we used to feel

Back when the magic was real

A world of your own

A place to go when you're

Feeling alone

Feeling unsure

Embrace the unknown

Enjoy the adventure

Let's go strolling in the clouds

Grab a handful, it's allowed

Clouds are made of cotton candy

Just keep your umbrella handy

'Cause there's a hard rain gonna fall

Humbugs, gumdrops, and aniseed balls

Fireworks bring sugar string

To chew

All the colors of the rainbow

And some others too

A world of our own (Ginny: A world of our own)

A place to escape to (Ginny: A place to escape to)

The world of our own (Ginny: A place of our own)

Where we can be free (Ginny: Where we can be free)

Wherever you go (Ginny: Wherever you go)

Wherever life takes you (Ginny: Wherever life takes you)

This is our home (Ginny: Ooh)

A world of our own!

(Music fades out)

At the end of the song came after the last of the music had faded out, Ginny, Dinky and Grandpa Little laughed with joy in their tones. "That was so much fun!" Dinky said with a laugh, Ginny and Grandpa Little laughed to show that they agreed with him. "I love that song." Ginny replied with a smile, she'd finally calmed down from their laughing fit. "Another thing we have in common." Dinky responded happily, the two laughed a bit more gently so as not to hurt their throats before they calmed down. "I'd say this was one of the more calmer days for us." Grandpa Little told the kids, both Ginny and Dinky nodded in agreement since they all wanted some days that were more calm, and not filled with too much excitement.

Ginny knew that Dinky and Grandpa Little loved adventures, but even she knew that calm days were the most relaxing ones since it meant that no one was in danger, and everything was alright in the community of the Littles. "What should we do now?" Ginny asked her friends, just before either of them could answer. "Lunch time!" Tom called up to them, Ginny, Dinky and Grandpa Little shrugged in unison before leaving Dinky's room using the system that the Littles set up through out the walls of the Bigg's house. "Ginny and I have to go, but we can play more later." Henry said as he changed Ginny back to her normal size, Grandpa Little had shrunk Ginny back down to Lucy's size in order to help fix the plane.

"We understand, have a good lunch." Grandpa Little told Henry, he and Ginny nodded in response before leaving Henry's room. "Did you guys fix the plane?" Tom asked his grandpa and older cousin, both of them told the rest of their family what had happened to the plane, and how Ginny helped them fix it. "I'm glad you plane is working again." Helen commented, Frank nodded with a smile on his face which made his father-in-law and cousin-in-law smile. "Who turned on the music earlier?" Lucy asked as she tilted her head, Grandpa Little smirked as Dinky blushed. "Ginny and I were singing to celebrate the fact that the plane was fixed." Dinky explained in embarrassment, no one laughed at him though, but they smiled with understanding looks on their faces. "Sounded like you two had fun." Frank chimed in, he chuckled fondly as Dinky told them about how he and Ginny liked the same type of music which made lunch time a very happy event for the young pilot. "I can't wait to hang out with Ginny again." Dinky said as he imagined taking Ginny for a ride in his plane, he hoped that she'd liked that idea, and that she wasn't afraid of heights.
