Disclaimers: This is a crossover between Sailor Moon and Digimon. I do not own these two shows. Sailor Moon is written by Naoko Takeuchi in manga form and aired as a series by Toei Animation and TV Asahi in Japan and by Kodansha Comics in North America. Digimon is produced by Toei Animation and Bandai of Japan that began in 1999.

Following one of the silver lights, it came upon the parents of an almost three-year-old Minamoto Kōji. The silver light slowly became a small little silver orb that descended upon the sleeping parents, slowly and gently merging into the step-mother's womb, unknowingly changing the Minamoto's timeline to Minamoto Katsuyuki & the now Kimura Rieko's divorce happening when Kōji was barely a year old. The light was so small that the glow did not wake the parents. It wasn't until two months later that said step-mother, Brianne, went to the hospital because she was feeling a bit weak and ill. There, Brianne learned that she was two months pregnant and was about to faint from the announcement. Brianne, however, didn't as she called a cab to take her back home. When she walked into the Minamoto house, her husband and step-son were in the living room watching some kind of cartoon. "Brianne-ai, you are back," questioned the husband, Katsuyuki.

"Hai," said Brianne as she gently sat down next to her husband, Kōji intensely watching his cartoon.

"What did the doctor say," questioned Katsuyuki.

"Well," sighed Brianne, "He ran some tests and found out about something."

"He found something," asked a worried Katsuyuki before sprouting a lot of questions, "What did he find out? Do you have an incurable illness? Do you need to have surgery? I can take off it that is the problem to watch over Kōji. Do you…?"

"Calm down, Katsu-ai," said Brianne with a small smile on her face, "It's nothing that worrying."

"Then, what is it, Brianne-ai," questioned Katsuyuki.

Without saying anything, Brianne reached out to Katsuyuki's left hand and gently took it with her right. She then placed Katsuyuki's left hand over her stomach and held it in place. Katsuyuki, on his part, just looked very confused as to why Brianne would place a hand over her stomach. It wasn't until Brianne huffed before indicating towards her stomach on what the doctor said. Seeing the indication towards Brianne's stomach, it took a few minutes until Katsuyuki had a shock look on his face. He finally pieced together that Brianne was pregnant with his child. Smiling happy, Katsuyuki couldn't help but ask, "Are you sure?"

"Hai," said Brianne with a smile of her own, "The doctor did extensive testing and came back to tell me that I was positively pregnant for two months."

"I'm so happy," declared Katsuyuki, which startled Kōji to look at his parents.

"Kāsan (Mom)," questioned Kōji, "Tōsan (Dad)?"

"You are going to be an onīsan, Kōji," said a happy Katsuyuki.

"Onīsan," questioned Kōji who started to smile.

"Un," said Brianne, "Your haha (mom) is going to be giving you an imōto or an otōto for you to play with in a couple of months.

It was then that Katsuyuki grabbed Kōji and tossed him up into the air. He was THAT happy to have another child living with them. After his divorce when Kōji was born, he didn't know if he could be that happy until Brianne came into his life. Brianne, on her part, was bursting with a happy glow as she rubbed her still flat stomach. Two months pregnant was not what she thought would be possible, but here they were. She actually hoped that she was getting a daughter because she was already outnumbered by boys in the house, she being the only girl in the family. She wouldn't know that she would have gotten her wish when one, Tomoe Hotaru, chose the Minamoto family to be reborn into.

- New Earth: January 6, 1991, Early Morning –

"Come here, Kōji," said Brianne, "Let's go for a little walk."

It was early in the morning that Brianne had a sudden thought to take a morning stroll. Of course, she wouldn't be alone because she also wanted Kōji to get some fresh morning air. Katsuyuki was sleeping in his office because until the baby was born, he told his boss that he would work remotely from home. He didn't want to miss a second of his new baby's development. It wouldn't be until late morning that Katsuyuki would be called into the hospital due to Brianne going into labor. But, until then… "Let's bundle up, Kōji," said Brianne, "I do not want you to catch a cold."

"Hai~," drawled out of now three-year-old's mouth.

"Don't sass me, mister," joked Brianne, "Or else, I won't let you play in the snow."

"Gomen (Sorry), kāsan," said Kōji.

"That's better," said Brianne.

With the quick exchange, Brianne went about to dress her three-year-old stepson. She, of course, made sure Kōji was dressed in his snow coat, his tennis shoes, and warm mittens. She also placed a blue fluffy hat on top of his head so that he would be nice and warm. After making sure that Kōji was dressed appropriately, the two headed out slowly, Brianne waddling towards the park. The two reached the park quickly enough that Kōji let go of Brianne's hand and ran towards the play structure. Brianne smiled softly as she looked at her stepson while slowly sitting on the park bench. Her stomach was beginning to hurt but thought nothing of it, thinking that it was those fake labor pains. Besides, she WAS also waddling/walking to the park with her stepson holding onto her hand. "Kāsan," called out Kōji, "Look how high I am!"

"Be careful, Kōji," called out Brianne.

"Hai~," called back Kōji who was swinging next to a brown-haired boy, a pair of googles around his neck.

"Is that your musuko (son)," questioned a brown-haired female who was sitting near Brianne.

"Īe," said Brianne who was breathing a bit heavily while rubbing her stomach, "He is my mamako (stepson), but I love him anyways."

"And another on the way, I see," said the female with a smile.

"Hai," said Brianne who winced slightly at the shot of pain.

"Hey," said the female who saw the wince, "Are you alright?"

Brianne didn't answer as she groaned louder that the female took a look at her. Apparently, Brianne is now in actual labor, but she didn't have anyone watching out for Kōji and apparently forgotten to grab her cell phone to call Katsuyuki. The female, however, was quick to help Brianne by coaching her through her breathing exercises. She also took out her cell phone and called the ambulance about a labored woman who was about to give birth. Once it was established that an ambulance was on the way, the female called out to her musuko and Kōji to come over. "Takuya," called out the female, "Kōji-san! Come over here and stay with your kāchan (mothers)."

"Kāsan," called out a running Kōji.

"Don't worry, Kōji," said Brianne who was doing the breathing exercises, "Your chīsana kyōdai (little sibling) just wants out."

"Demo," started Kōji who was tearing up in fear.

"Don't worry, Kōji-san," said the female gently, "Your kāsan will be just fine. Demo, for now, stay with my Takuya and us kāchan (mothers), okay?"

Kōji sniffed a little but nodded his head. The boy he was trying to outswing, Takuya, grabbed his hand in comfort and started to try to distract Kōji from what was happening to his kāsan. It wasn't long that the ambulance sirens were heard as Takuya's mother helped gathered the two children up, all the while watching as said ambulance pulled up and whisked Brianne away to the maternity ward.

- 16 Hrs Later –

"Arigatō (Thank you) for watching my Kōji, Kanbara-san," said Katsuyuki as he bowed to the female who helped his wife.

The brown-haired female, otherwise known as Kanbara Yuriko, was quick to tell the hospital to call the husband since he wasn't here. Said husband, upon learning about Brianne's labor, rushed towards the hospital before stopping in front of said Yuriko. Yuriko, on her part, introduced herself as Kanbara Yuriko and told him that Kōji was in safe hands before ushering him towards the maternity ward to witness the birth of his new child. Katsuyuki was frazzled, but upon seeing that his Kōji was playing games with Yuriko's own child, he nodded once in understanding and rushed in. It wasn't until sixteen hours later that Katsuyuki came out to relieve Yuriko's duty to watch over his child and thank her properly. "Īe," said Yuriko, "I am happy to have helped Minamoto-san when she was in labor."

"Still, arigatō for watching over Kōji," said Katsuyuki.

"Do not worry about it," said Yuriko, "Now, I believe a certain new onīchan (older brother) wants to see his chīsana kyōdai."

Katsuyuki nodded his head as he lifted up Kōji before leaving the waiting room and towards Brianne's new hospital room. He didn't see that Yuriko smiled at the new family before gathering up her child and walking out of the hospital, placing this experience in the back of her mind. If only she knew that Kōji and Takuya would see each other again in their shōgakkō (elementary/primary school) year and having a wild adventure. With Katsuyuki, he quickly got to the hospital room that Brianne and their newest bundle of joy was in. He set Kōji down near Brianne as he kept his son balanced with his arm around his tiny waist. "Brianne-ai," questioned Katsuyuki.

"Katsu-ai," said a smiling but tired Brianne before turning to Kōji, "Kōji, meet your new imōto."

"I-mō-to," asked Kōji with slight awe.

"Un," nodded Brianne slightly while holding the now identified musume (daughter) towards the light, "Minamoto Kōhai Hotaru."

"Hotaru," questioned Katsuyuki.

"I feel like her middle name should be Hotaru for some strange reason," said Brianne.

As if she was really calling her name, Hotaru, who was now a newborn, opened her eyes. Hotaru's eyes, however, shocked Brianne and Katsuyuki. Instead of the dark blue that they thought Hotaru would have, her eyes were actually dark violet, a mixture of the dark blue and her original coloring, purple. The parents would also get a surprise once more when Hotaru's hair grew out as well. Yet, for now, Hotaru looked at her new family with hidden knowing eyes before silently reaching out to her new onīsan. "She knows her protector well," said a teasing Katsuyuki before being a bit serious, "Kōji, remember to always protect your imōto. Promise?"

"Un," nodded an enthusiastic Kōji who also had a cute serious face on, "Promise! I be best onīsan eva!"

- 8 Years Later –

"Hurry up, onīchan," called out the now eight-year-old Hotaru.

"Coming, coming," said Kōji with a small smile ever hinting on his face.

When growing up, the two siblings were very close with each other. That, however, was probably due to an incident that led to Kōji being fiercely protective over Kōhai, who was very insistent that people called her by her middle name, Hotaru. It happened when Hotaru was six-years-old and was trying to make friends. One of her so-called friends ended up injured, and due to Hotaru retaining her healing powers through Saturn, decided to heal said friend. This, however, led to Hotaru being picked on and Kōji finding out before getting into fights to protect Hotaru, Kōji wielding a kendo stick during said fights. This incident cemented the very fact that Kōji was VERY protective of his imōto. But now, the siblings were walking down the street to a flower shop. It was after all near their parents' wedding anniversary. "You are so slow, onīchan," chided Hotaru.

"Meh," said Kōji, "There's no rush to get flowers when we're only ordering it."

"Demo," said Hotaru, "We have to get something that has a beautiful meaning."

"Meaning," asked Kōji.

"Un," nodded Hotaru, "Flowers always have meaning. So, we HAVE to pick the very best flower bouquet for tōchan (dad) and kāchan (mom)."

Although the two were walking and talking to each other, they didn't notice the narrowed dark blue eyes of another boy that looked very similar to Kōji. Those eyes were also following and stalking the Minamoto siblings, though a flash of longing and a hint of jealousy were briefly shown. It didn't take long to finally get to the flower shop and order a flower bouquet to be picked up at a later date. Though, another thing happened right after Kōji and Hotaru stepped out of said flower shop. "What kind of noise is that," questioned Hotaru who winced.

"My cell phone," questioned Kōji as he pulled it out and opened it.

"Minamoto Kōji," said an unknown female on the other end of the cell phone line, "This is part of a game. A test to determine your future."

"Creepy," whispered Hotaru.

"My future," questioned Kōji.

"Hai," said the unknown female, "Are you willing to play?"

A message popped up as the siblings look at Kōji's cell phone. Hotaru knew about futures, but why her onīsan? Pressing yes for her onīsan, another message popped up. It said that Kōji had to get to the Shibuya Station by 6 to take an elevator to the basement. Both siblings were perplexed about it, but since they were done with their errands, the two set off into this new adventure, not once noticing the same dark blue-eyed boy quickly following them. 'I wonder what I'm going into THIS time,' thought Hotaru as she rode the subway system with her onīsan to Shibuya Station, 'I hope I don't have to tap into Saturn either, but either way… an adventure with my onīsan should be fun!' Though, unknown to Hotaru, Motoki and Naru would be also experiencing something similar to her new adventure soon.

AN: That's a wrap on what's going on with Hotaru's side. (ˇ⊖ˇ) She's going into the Digital world with Kōji if you didn't know what was going on. ≖‿≖ I, however, do not know what I am going to do with the Digital world due to the different Chosen teams. (-‸ლ) Anyways, next chapter would be Naru, then Motoki. I have a semi-plan about DATS and Hypnos with those two. So, happy reading and see ya laterz. |ω・`)
