Disclaimers: This is a crossover between Sailor Moon and Digimon. I do not own these two shows. Sailor Moon is written by Naoko Takeuchi in manga form and aired as a series by Toei Animation and TV Asahi in Japan and by Kodansha Comics in North America. Digimon is produced by Toei Animation and Bandai of Japan that began in 1999.

'I'm engaged to be married to someone I don't even know… AGAIN?!'

Michelle could see the horror-struck face on small Usagi's face. She could only curse her imōto for her impulsiveness in making a marriage contract between her daughter and her best friend's son. Michelle could only think that the so-called best friend also didn't inform her only son that he was engaged to be married when he was just a baby as well. Maybe that was why the husband wasn't around for the son, except on rare occasions. As Michelle was thinking about the other family from said arrangement, Usagi was thinking on how her life turned out like this. She saved the entire Solar System multiples in her second life, and Fate and Destiny gave her THIS as a reward? A person who she was engaged to be married since birth?! At least, this engagement was different from the one between the Moon and the Earth… she hoped. Usagi turned back towards her Michelle-oba as she heard her voice. "Usagi, daijōbu," questioned Michelle.

"Is there a way to get out of the arrangement," questioned Usagi.

"Hai," said Michelle, "The other party added a clause that stated if you or he falls in love with different people, the marriage can be terminated. I do not believe that your kāchan knows about that clause. She just signed the documents without a lawyer present."

"At least, I don't really have to oblige to be married to this mysterious boy," said Usagi.

"Hai," said Michelle, "At least, there is that. You may fall in love with a different boy, ne?"

"Hai," said Usagi.

As Usagi felt relieved that this arranged marriage wasn't obligated to be fulfilled, Michelle looked out the window to see a car parked outside. She knew that her Akari was over at a friend's house for a play date. She also knew that Usagi didn't have many friends to do play dates with since Usagi was such a reserved little girl. Standing up, Michelle went to the door just in time to open it with two little blurs coming into the house. "Yamato," called out Hiroaki, "Madoka! No running!"

"Surprise, surprise," said Michelle sarcastically, "Nice to get a heads up on you coming over."

"Not right now," said an angry Hiroaki, "Where is Celestia?"

"Inside," said Michelle.

"Did you inform her," questioned Hiroaki.

"Ah," said Michelle, "That's what got you wind up. You found out what my dear imōto did."

"Answer the question," said Hiroaki with his arms crossed.

As the adults were talking, Motoki and Yamato quickly found Usagi in the living room. Usagi was still situated on the couch as she contemplated on what she found out from her Michelle-oba. Hearing pattered feet, Usagi looked up to see Motoki and Yamato racing into the living room. She could see that they were looking for her as both eyes stared at her form before racing towards the couch. Yamato was the first to reach Usagi as he climbed fast onto the couch and started to hug Usagi towards him fiercely. "Daijōbu, imōto," questioned Yamato.

"Nīchan," said Usagi, "'Toki-kun! Why are you here?"

"We heard about the… engagement," said Motoki hesitantly.

"Un," nodded Yamato, "I can't believe kāsan agreed to give you to some guy you barely know!"

"I know," said Usagi with a pout.

"Do you even know the name of this so-called fiancé," questioned Motoki.

"Īe," said Usagi, "Michelle-oba never said anything about who this person is."

"Probably wants you to bump into the person randomly without knowing," said Motoki teasingly.

"Don't joke about that," said Yamato, "Besides, this guy has to get through US before we give you to him!"

Usagi giggled as Yamato cutely proclaimed that he was going to test this so-called fiancé of hers. She, however, gladly told Motoki and Yamato that Michelle-oba told her that she didn't have to fulfill the engagement proposal. Apparently, her fiancé's parent added a clause that if either one of them fell in love with someone else, the proposal would be terminated. Yamato then proclaimed that he wouldn't even let boys get near his imōto while Motoki backed it up and said that the boys had to get through Yamato and him to even date Usagi. Usagi sweat-dropped at her two nīchan before sighing inwardly. At least, she knew that Yamato and Motoki would be there for her whenever she was in trouble. Just as Motoki said his piece in protecting Usagi, Hiroaki and Michelle walked into the room to see the three children talking to each other. "Celestia," said Hiroaki.

"Papa," said Usagi.

"Are you doing alright, my chibi (small) hime (princess)," questioned Hiroaki.

"I… was shocked when Michelle-oba told me," said Usagi, "Demo, I am just glad that you and Yamato, probably Takeru-, are here for me."

"Don't forget that my papa, mama, Takato-otōto, and I are there for you too," said Motoki.

"Exactly," said Usagi, "I know I have people that care for me to also support me in this."

"And don't you forget it," said Yamato.

"Un," nodded Usagi, her short blonde hair bobbing up and down with her head, "I won't!"

- Three Years Later –

"You are so lucky to go to summer camp, Yama-," said Usagi, "Especially with Takeru-."

It had been three years later that Usagi was old enough to learn that she was engaged to someone she didn't know. Usagi, at eight years old, was walking down towards the Kiyosumi Garden. In one of her hands was one of those old cell phones… a flip phone… that had golden moons and stars decorating the back of said phone. She was walking to said garden to pick up her eight-year-old itoko, Akari, from her play date with one of her classmates. Usagi, however, was now pouting when she found out that both of her nīsan in this third life was going to summer camp together. She just got the news over the phone when she decided to call her Yamato-, or Yama- to her. "Why didn't tōsan let me go too," whined Usagi.

"Don't whine," said Yamato, "This is supposed to be a bonding experience for Takeru and me."

"Brother bonding," questioned Usagi, "Why did it have to be brother bonding? Why not a sibling bonding? I want to see Takeru- too!"

"Gomen, Celestia-imōto," chorused the brothers.

"I'm on speaker," groaned out Usagi as she heard Takeru's voice as well.

"Yup," said the brothers.

Even though Takeru and Usagi rarely hung out with each other, both remembered about the other and tried their hardest to converse with one another through the phone. They even would come up with some plans to prank Yamato whenever he was with one or the other. Though now, Usagi pouted more just as her brothers told her that they would miss her when they were away. Apparently, they couldn't call Usagi frequently during their summer camp experience. They, however, wouldn't know that they would be saving the world soon with creatures called Digimon when they got back from said summer camp. Usagi, on her part, told them that they better call or she would get Michelle-oba to drive her to where the summer camp was and give them a piece of her mind. "Whatever you say, imōto," said Takeru.

"Anyways, have you heard from Madoka," questioned Yamato.

"Īe," said Usagi, "Demo, I'm sure he is fine. Takato and he were doing something in Shinjuku last I heard. Also, didn't he tell you guys to call him Motoki?"

"Yeah," said Yamato, "Demo, you know that we grew up calling him Madoka. Besides, I also am worried. I heard strange things are happening in Shinjuku."

"Same," said a worried Takeru, "We just wanted to confirm that he was safe. Him and Takato-itoko and Yoshie-oba and…"

"We get it Takeru-otōto/nī," said Usagi and Yamato in amusement.

It didn't take long for the two brothers to hear a yelp coming over the phone. Yamato and Takeru, on their part, looked at each other before turning back to the phone in Yamato's hand. They were worried about their only imōto because when they were talking, Usagi told them that she was walking by herself to pick up Akari-itoko. They knew that Japan was safe to walk to places by yourselves, but they worry since Usagi IS just a little girl. The brothers growled inwardly as they heard a male voice over the phone. "Gomen," said the male, "Are you alright?"

"Daijōbu," said Usagi over the phone.

"Imōto," said Yamato over the phone, "Who is that with you?"

"Yeah," said Takeru.

"Ah," said Usagi as her voice came through the phone, "Gomen, onīchan. I bumped into him while walking into the gardens."

"And him is," questioned Takeru.

"Hold on," said Usagi as she pressed the speaker on button before addressing the person, "Gomen nasai, demo, my onīchan would like to know your name."

The stranger in front of Usagi was the same age, if slightly older than her. He also had gray eyes and spiky brown hair. The boy in front of Usagi looked a bit amused when he saw Usagi flushing slightly from Yamato and Takeru's embarrassing question. He couldn't fault the brothers though because Usagi looked too innocent that someone may snatch her up if they weren't careful. Seeing Usagi press the on button for the speaker to be used, the boy introduced himself to the brothers on the phone. "My name is Kudō Taiki," said the boy, "I am sorry for bumping into your imōto. I should have watched where I was going."

"I should have done the same thing, too," confessed Usagi, "Demo, I was focused on talking to my onīchan."

"You weren't watching your step again, weren't you, imōto," said an exasperated Yamato before his voice turned to Taiki, "Anyways, my name is Ishida Yamato."

"My name is Takaishi Takeru," said Takeru, "Demo, if we meet, call me T.K."

"Why couldn't you two call me Usagi when I asked," pouted Usagi as she heard what Takeru told Taiki to do.

"Because," said Yamato, "You'll always be Celestia to us, no matter what kind of nickname you want us to call you. Same with Madoka-itoko."

Usagi pouted as Taiki stifled a laugh. He couldn't believe they were still squabbling as siblings do while he was with Usagi. As Usagi was about to retort, she and Taiki could hear a male voice saying that her brothers had finally arrived at their summer camp. Yamato and Takeru said their goodbyes to Usagi and, to an extent, Taiki. Taiki, however, felt like he shouldn't have been threatened to not hurt Usagi after he was standing next to said girl for a couple of minutes. Usagi, as she closed her flip phone, just sighed before addressing Taiki. "Gomen for my onīchan," said Usagi.

"Which one," joked Taiki.

"Both," said Usagi, "Though, you don't seem to be put out."

"Not really," said Taiki, "Anyways, why are you here… Celestia is it?"

"No matter what my onīchan say," said Usagi, "Call me Usagi. As for why I am here, I am here to pick up my itoko."

"Itoko," questioned Taiki before…

"Usa-itoko," called out a familiar female voice to both.

"Akari/itoko,' called out Usagi and Taiki together before turning to each other in perplex, "Eh? You know her?!"

- Five Years Later –

Usagi was sitting next to Akari as both girls were watching Taiki play basketball. Over the past five years, Michelle sat Taiki and Usagi down on the same couch Usagi had a huge life changing experience eight years ago. Usagi was quite nervous because this was the same couch she found out she was engaged. However, she was also confused as to why her Michelle-oba wanted to talk to Taiki as well. That all cleared up though when Taiki first came over to hang out with Akari and her…

- Flashback –

"Michelle-oba/okāsan, tadaima (I'm back)," chorused the two girls.

Michelle went out of the kitchen to greet the two girls, but she stopped when she saw the familiar gray eyes of her imōto's best friend staring at her. She shook her head mentally as she reassessed what she was seeing before looking back at those familiar gray eyes. There was no doubt about it that this was Usagi's fiancé that the two girls stumbled across. Michelle now wondered if this little eight-year-old boy knew that Usagi was his fiancée. Smiling outwardly, but grimacing inwardly, Michelle greeted the three children. "Who is this," questioned Michelle.

"This is Taiki," said Akari, "A friend and classmate of mine."

"Oh," questioned Michelle.

"Un," nodded Akari, "Apparently, Taiki bumped into Celestia while she was on the phone with Yamato-itoko and Takeru-itoko."

"I see," said Michelle slowly, "Akari, I forgot to ask Celestia to get milk from the store. Can you please go in her stead. I need to talk to her about… something."

Akari huffed as she nodded her head. She didn't know what was going on, but she was definitely going to get the answer out of Taiki sooner or later. Once Akari left to go to the store to get some milk, Michelle turned to Usagi and Taiki and told the two to sit down on the couch. Usagi looked confused and nervous as she sat at the same place she had gotten the news about her arranged marriage. Taiki, confused, sat next to Usagi just as Michelle kneeled in front of the two. "Taiki-san," said Michelle, "I'll be frank with you. Did your kāchan sit you down and tell you the news?"

"News," questioned Taiki.

"I'm guessing that is a no," said Michelle with a sigh before going out of the room.

"What's going on Michelle-oba," questioned Usagi.

"I'm sure Taiki's kāchan should have told him," said Michelle as she came back with a paper in hand, "However, I guess this responsibility falls on me."

"What is that," questioned Taiki.

"Isn't that," questioned Usagi who's eyes went wide in realization.

"Taiki," said Michelle, "When you were born, your kāchan and Celestia's kāchan agreed to marry you both to each other."

"EH," exclaimed Taiki and a suddenly returned Akari.

- End Flashback –

'Akari-itoko was sure surprised that day, too,' thought Usagi as she stood up to cheer Taiki on.

Finding out Taiki was her fiancé, Usagi had to mentally slap her head on the irony about how Yamato and Takeru threatened Taiki about harming her early that day too. Usagi and Taiki sat with each other before they finally came up with them ignoring said arranged marriage while becoming friends. It gave them five years to be friends, and Usagi couldn't be happier with that decision because she slowly developed some feelings for Taiki. Of course, she never said anything to him to this day as the game she and Akari were watching finished, Taiki on the ground in a dead faint. "Of course, he overworked himself again," sighed Akari.

"At least, you know he's dedicated," said Usagi.

"So, when are you going to tell him," questioned Akari.

"I don't know what you mean," said Usagi.

"Oh, come on, Usa," said Akari, "You aren't fooling anyone besides yourself… and Taiki, now that I think about it."

Usagi never replied because it was that time Taiki regained consciousness. Sure, she would have want to tell Taiki, yet something was holding her back. She also realized that maybe that that something was due to her past relationship with Mamoru, a.k.a. Endymion-ōji (prince). As she contemplated, she never noticed that the trio were joined by Tsurugi Zenjirou, Taiki's supposed eternal rival. She also never noticed how Taiki had worried eyes on her while Akari was mentally screaming at the two to confess their feelings for one another, arranged marriage be damned. She snapped out of her reverie when Taiki took off running towards something he could hear. Usagi focused on her ears before she too heard a voice asking for help. All four thirteen-year-olds stopped see two transparent beings on the ground. Taiki went to the one in red while Usagi, who pulled away from Akari, went to the one in pale yellow. All four could hear a mysterious voice asking if the two would want to save these beings, these Digimon. Usagi and Taiki looked at each other before answering the voice with a resonating yes. "What are your names," questioned the voice.

"Kudō Taiki," said Taiki.

"Ishida Usagi," said Usagi, Akari and Taiki looking at Usagi in exasperated fondness.

A bright light flashed right before their eyes before two white devices appeared. Usagi mentally sighed as she thought about how she had also gotten a device to henshin (transform) into Sailor Moon the first time. As the devices transformed into one red & silver and one pale yellow & silver in color, the red floated in front of Taiki while the other was in front of Usagi. Taiki and Usagi were about to grab the device, but both were stopped by Zenjirou and Akari respectively. Usagi sighed inwardly with exasperation because she knew what would happen once she touched the device, the so-called Xros loader the mysterious voice had called it. Taiki narrowed his eyes in determination though as Usagi and Taiki both grabbed the devices while Zenjirou and Akari were still holding onto them. "Ah," cried out Akari, "They touched it anyway."

Blinding lights flashed before their eyes as the red faded being went into Taiki's red loader while the pale yellow went into Usagi's. Then, the four were turned into a bright green light before being sucked into a place, letting the four fall down into a green abyss. Taiki, Zenjirou, and Akari both yelled out as they fell, yet not once did the three noticed Usagi just falling down without screaming. 'So, a new adventure,' thought Usagi, 'I wonder what will onīchan think when they don't hear from me. sigh Why me?'

AN: (´∀`) Why you indeed, Usagi. (^∀^) Whelp! At least, you all now know who is Usagi's fiancé in the Digimon series. ( ^^)Y Though, I don't know if it will strictly stay as Taiki being with Usagi or someone from the other Digimon season will come in to take Usagi's heart away. (¬з¬) Hm… decisions, decisions. (¬‿¬) If you don't think Usagi should be with Taiki and be with someone else, you can always leave a comment for this fanfic. ٩(^▿^)۶ Anyways, it is going to be a while for Usagi, Motoki, Hotaru, and Naru to all meet up. So, stay tuned and happy reading! Will probably get this story out of hiatus… maybe… |ω・`)
