Disclaimers: This is a crossover between Sailor Moon and Digimon. I do not own these two shows. Sailor Moon is written by Naoko Takeuchi in manga form and aired as a series by Toei Animation and TV Asahi in Japan and by Kodansha Comics in North America. Digimon is produced by Toei Animation and Bandai of Japan that began in 1999.
- Then -
"No way," said a disbelief Ruki.
"They are," exclaimed Izzy and Ken together.
"Sailor Senshi," said the awed new Digidestined arrivals.
- Now –
All eyes were on four nervous-looking Sailor Senshi as the four powered down. The Ginzuishō was floating patiently in the white void, waiting for everything to calm down. It knew that if Usagi wished it, it would use its powers to show them what the other Digidestined were missing out on. It also should probably show the hime's newest siblings her life story as well. Yet, it knew that the hime would be against that idea. As it was contemplating what to do, it was brought back to the reality of things by one person… "So, if we are going to become Senshi to help," said Taiki, "Shouldn't there be another leader here for that to happen?"
"Y-You're not questioning just why they are here or better yet," said an incredulous Izzy, "HOW they are reincarnated?!"
"Not really," said Taiki who was being far too laidback.
"Well, I am," proclaimed a surprised Takuya, "And what do you mean by missing a leader?"
"We vetoed against Masaru being here, kyu," said Cutemon while Naru grumbled to herself about reckless older brothers.
"I don't mean him," said Taiki.
"Who were talking about then," questioned Jenrya.
"Daisuke, of course," said Taiki.
The name made everyone pause. Sure, Usagi didn't want a lot of Digidestined to know, but Daisuke was also a Digidestined LEADER to the second generation of the Ōdaiba Digidestined. Everyone had different reactions to that name as the Ginzuishō looked on in amusement. Usagi could practically feel the Ginzuishō's amusement as she watched her fellow Digidestined groan in embarrassment. Taichi looked sheepishly at the group while Ken and Takeru hit their foreheads hard in realization. The Tamers, along with the Spirit Warriors, were wondering just HOW they could have missed it and were also wondering just WHY Daisuke wasn't among them, being a leader of a Digidestined group and all. Sora just sighed and said, "No one thought to bring Daisuke into this magical mess?"
"To be fair," said Yamato who was looking sheepishly as well, "Takeru, Takato, Motoki, and I were trying to make sure imōto wasn't overwhelmed by the sheer number of Digidestined being Sailor Senshi."
"Hontō ni (Really)," questioned Mimi, "Then, how did you remember ALL of us Original Ōdaiba Digidestined?"
"Uh," said Takeru who looked thoughtful, "Well, Jō is our medic. We needed multiple geniuses to come up with plans, which Izzy is here. There're more males than females, so that's why we also brought in you girls too."
"To be fair," said Yamato, "We didn't really plan on having us original eight in this Digidestined-turned-Sailor-Senshi group, but it is what it is."
Sora and Mimi looked deadpanned while Hikari bemoaned about not informing her newest leader. To be fair, Hikari and Takeru also look at Taichi as their original leader, even though they had another adventure with the second generation Ōdaiba Digidestined. The others, however, looked a bit bemused while Ken just shook his head in embarrassment again. He was one of the newest Ōdaiba Digidestined and was surprised to now learn that Daisuke wasn't called in as well. Taiki, upon hearing how overwhelming this might be for Usagi, was about to go over to her and give her a comforting hug, but Motoki beat Taiki to it, making him inwardly pout. Sure, he wanted to know about the Sailor Senshi's past, yet he was confident that Usagi would have told him the story when she was ready. That was why he wasn't bothered by whatever brought him and Shoutmon here. Takeru's comment brought him back to reality though. "Daisuke is so going to shout at us for forgetting about him," groaned out Takeru.
"Well," said Wormmon, "Couldn't the Ginzuishō bring him here like the rest of us?"
"Would it," questioned a bemused Ruki, "I mean, it's being commanded by Dino-boy's itoko. Shouldn't it be following her commands?"
"You do come up with a wise question, Ruki," said Renamon.
"I know," said Ruki with a smug look on her face.
"Whether it could or not," said Ken, "Daisuke is going to hound T.K., Kari, and I for not inviting him until the last moment."
"Same here," sighed the original Ōdaiba Digidestined.
"Glad I'm not you,' said the other males present.
The original Ōdaiba Digidestined just sighed once more before looking at Usagi with pleading eyes. Even if Daisuke wasn't going to become a Sailor Senshi, he should be here so that they had SOMEONE to come up with excuses on their absences. Though, with his mind, the Digidestined who knew Daisuke would bet he would WANT to become a Sailor Senshi for the cool powers and not about fighting evil. Usagi, on her part, blinked before turning to the Ginzuishō with expectant looks. "So, just this Daisuke and his Digimon partner, ne," questioned the Ginzuishō.
"Hai," said Sora, "Onegai (please), Ginzuishō?"
"Anyone else I should try to bring," questioned the Ginzuishō.
"Not that we can think of," said Taichi.
"Yeah," said Yamato who looked at Usagi worriedly, "We wouldn't want to have TOO many people here. This is plenty enough, don't you think?"
"I concur," said Izzy, "The more we bring in, I believe the more magical stress that you will be in for gifting us these magical powers."
"Add in the fact that you are tied to the hime," said a glaring Hotaru, "I do not want to witness her dying… again!"
"D-Dying," questioned Jō, Sora, Mimi, and Ken, "A-Again?!"
"Does that mean she died multiple times," yelped out a frantic Taiki.
Those who knew the story grimaced at the comment Hotaru made. Naru and Motoki weren't even there for Usagi's stint as Sailor Moon to know that Usagi dying was NOT an option. The others, however, looked at the Sailor Senshi in shock, particularly at Usagi. They could tell that Usagi was the center of this due to those that were in the known's protective auras. Even the Digimon partners that knew the story grimaced at the comment. Usagi, on her part, didn't look at anyone as she shivered within herself. She could tell that Hotaru's comment hit home as she tried not to think about her deaths in her second life. She was just glad that she was alive… and with a new family. "Gomen," said Hotaru who looked down, "Demo, I saw her use you, Ginzuishō, a couple of times and the strain on her body…"
"Gomen for what I have done to the hime," said a sorrowful Ginzuishō, "Demo, it was just how I was made. If I could, I would have not drawn so much on the hime during the past."
"I'm just glad I had you so that ALL of us were reborn again in our second life," said Usagi in a soft voice.
"Hai," said Hotaru, "Don't get me wrong. I am glad that she had you, Ginzuishō, demo I wish that the drawbacks weren't that serious every time."
As Hotaru, Usagi, and the Ginzuishō conversed, Motoki and Naru grimaced more at what they were hearing. They knew of the drawbacks due to watching Hotaru and Usagi's Senshi life, but to realize that it may happen again? Motoki, who was already close to Usagi, just tightened his hold around her shoulders that were supposed to comfort her. Taiki was already in front of Usagi by the time the conversation died away by Hotaru's statement of drawbacks. He was looking Usagi over with his eyes, making sure that those past injuries weren't there in this life before taking Usagi away from Motoki's arms and into his. "So… that conversation just happened," said an awkward Kōji.
"Yeah," said Ken slowly, "Anyways, about Daisuke?"
"Uh, hai," said a sheepish Ginzuishō, "I shall get him here now. Please shield your eyes."
"Eh," questioned everyone.
It only took a second, yet the Ginzuishō almost blinded them all once more with a flare of silver light. The light was quite bright, yet the Sailor Senshi were used to the brightness due to how they all transform with bright lights themselves. The Digidestined, however, shielded their eyes before they reopened to see a familiar leader and friend of the second generation of Ōdaiba Digidestined and his Digimon partner amongst them. Daisuke, on his part, just blinked before looking around and settling to look deadpanned at the group in front of him. "Did I just literally get teleported somewhere without my say so," questioned Daisuke.
"Seems so, Daisuke," said Chibimon.
"Uh, yeah," said a sheepish Taichi, "What Chibimon said."
"So, why am I here," questioned Daisuke.
"Well," said Terriermon, "We're all here for our Digimon partners, including you, being Sailor Senshi and saving the world from evil. Demo, màn man lái/momentai (Take it easy)! I'm sure everything will be fine!"
"So, we are called upon a force of nature to receive powers," questioned Daisuke.
"Seems about right," said a nervous Jō.
"Just like a Digidestined," questioned Daisuke.
"Exactly like a Digidestined," said Kōichi, "Except, you know? With our own powers through the Ginzuishō."
"The crystal," questioned Daisuke who pointed at the floating object in the center of the white void.
"The very one," said AncientWisemon.
Daisuke just nodded his head as he processed what was happening. He looked around to his fellow Digidestined to see that Hotaru, Naru, and Motoki were surrounding Usagi. He could also tell that Usagi was being very, very quiet, which was weirding him out. He knew that Usagi was mostly an energetic girl who he had an itty-bitty-tiny crush on when he first met her, yet seeing her so subdue made him want to just try to cheer her up. That was why his next reaction made it all the worthwhile… even if he was being laughed at. Everyone else, however, saw Daisuke slow make a grin and was thrown back with his exclamation: "SUGE~ (AMAZING~)!"
"What," questioned a now deadpanned Tailmon.
"Look, Chibimon," said Daisuke who puffed his chest out, "I'm going to be a great hero just like you! I'll also probably have the coolest henshin (transformation) ever! Just you wait and watch!"
"That's great, Daisuke," said an equally energetic Chibimon.
"I guess Daisuke is on board," said a sweat-dropping Sora.
"Well, it would be wonderful to have powers of our own," said Izzy, "Just think of fighting alongside our Digimon!"
"Speak for yourself," said Takuya before smirking, "Though, having powers besides Digimon powers seem interesting. You can count me in."
"I'm just surprised that he didn't question who the Sailor Senshi were," whispered Naru to Hotaru.
Daisuke ignored what everyone was saying as he took a chance to look at Usagi's face. Usagi, even though her face still had some sadness and forlorn face, had an amused smile on her face. He knew that he couldn't go after her because she was with Taiki, a fellow Digidestined, but he knew that he could help make sure that Usagi looked happy with them than whatever story he hasn't heard yet. He knew that the story was probably very depressing and didn't want to hear it until probably after gaining powers like the Senshi. Hotaru, on her part, smiled at Daisuke as Naru whispered in Hotaru's ear. She knew that her hime had more suitors with some sort of crush on her, and she was happy to note that even with her with Taiki, they were willing to make sure she was happy in this third life. "So~," said Hotaru, "We are in agreement that you all become Senshi?"
"Aren't you becoming one like us," questioned Chibimon.
"W-We'll tell you our story later," said Motoki, "I'm sure that the Ginzuishō would like to finish making Sailor Senshi before becoming dormant again."
"Īe," said the Ginzuishō, "Not dormant. I shall be the hime's powers once more. I will be active as much as the hime will need me, especially when she goes to her strongest level."
"That's reassuring," said Lunamon.
"Indeed," said Tentomon.
"Yet," said Biyomon, "How are they going to gain those powers?"
With that question, the Ginzuishō shone brightly to gain the attention from everyone. Daisuke even stopped making a small, but lovable fool out of himself with Chibimon with that light show. The Ginzuishō didn't even send out a warning just before fracture, pure white lights shot out of it and went towards the Digidestined. Each of the Digimon partners tried their best to protect the Digidestined from the oncoming light, yet it was futile. The light went through the Digimon and hit where the Digidestined's hearts would be. The Sailor Senshi, however, were surprised to see that they were also hit with the white light until… "Mimi," called out Palmon, "Y-You're glowing!"
"You're ALL glowing," exclaimed the Digimon partners.
"Are you alright, Naru, kyu," questioned Cutemon worriedly, for Cutemon didn't know why the Ginzuishō would hit Naru with whatever it was doing to the others.
"Ginzuishō," called out Solarmon, "What did you do to them?!"
"Sent some of my powers into them to create the Sailor Senshi of course," said the Ginzuishō, "If we keep on talking in this white void, we would have stayed in here for forever."
"So, that light and the glowing made us Sailor Senshi," questioned a skeptical Izzy, "Just like that?"
"Just like that," said the Ginzuishō, "Why? Did you think that I needed to perform an actual spell?"
"We just thought it would be much harder," said Takuya, "You know? Have to be under the moonlight to get the powers and bestow it upon us with a spell kind of deal."
"Bah," mocked the Ginzuishō, "Probably in the Silver Millennium, demo I am with the times. I know that you all want to get out of here and practice those powers I gave you. Besides, Usagi looks kind of pale from where I am floating."
Everyone who heard that statement quickly turned towards Usagi who was indeed paler. Usagi, on her part, could feel a bit of her magic and life force being drained by the Ginzuishō who did not give any warning about what it was about to do. She looked like she needed a very good night sleep with what the Ginzuishō did. Hotaru, who probably had an inkling to what the artifact did, quickly floated to Usagi and glowed a bit of lavender. She knew that she should also be careful when transferring her Saturnian powers to Usagi, but Usagi needed a bit more energy just until she could lie down on her own bed. Everyone saw what Hotaru was doing as she glowed a faint lavender color before seeing a bit of that lavender glow going into Usagi. They were in awe with Hotaru as they saw Usagi gain a bit of life on her cheeks, but still looked exhausted. "W-What just happened," questioned Takato.
"The Ginzuishō took some magic and life force from Usagi to create your Senshi persona and transformation pens," explained Hotaru.
"Is that why you did what you did," questioned Ken.
"Un," nodded Hotaru, "Transferred a bit of energy just enough for her to not pass out here in the void."
"Um," said Gabumon, "Not that that was interesting, but what powers DID you receive?"
"The males are knights," said Motoki, "Like me."
"And in the fact that you all glowed somewhat similar to your Digimon attributes or spirits," said AncientWisemon, "It is clear that you all can transform using said attributes to become Senshi."
"Great," said Daisuke, "Let's blow this place, get Usa-chan to relax, and then try our powers!"
"Sounds like a plan to me," said Taiki who looked at Usagi worriedly.
"Great," said Taichi who took charge, "Demo, for now, let's NOT tell the other Digidestined about this. All of us can train on how to be Senshi with Naru, Usagi, Hotaru, and Motoki."
"Yet, as we said before," said Izzy, "We should really make sure some of us do not transform and lead the other Digidestined away from the Youma while the others take care of it."
"Meaning, if a Youma shows up while you are surrounded by civilians," said Ken, "DON'T transform. Leave the Youma to those that are in the clear."
"Sounds like a future plan to me," said Sora.
"So~," said Ruki, "We have a plan. Good. Then, how are we getting out of this place?"
Just before anyone could answer Ruki, another silver flare blinded everyone before everyone was magically teleported back to Motoki's establishment. They also saw that the Ginzuishō slowly went into Usagi's brooch and stopped glowing altogether, being hidden behind the outer compact. Usagi, on her part, just sat down next to Taichi and Taiki before plopping her head down, fast asleep. Everyone sighed wearily as Motoki told them to stay to eat SOMETHINE before leaving to get home. The others were all for it as they sat around the various tables. Though, one thing still lingered with the Digidestined, besides those in the known and Taiki. 'Just WHAT is Usagi, Hotaru, Naru, and Motoki's story,' thought the Digidestined, 'We still haven't gotten the story from them!'
AN: I… am SO sorry to Motomiya Daisuke! (︶︹︺) I forgot to add him as one of the Senshi! (´°ω°`) Yet, to be fair, I am trying to minimize how many Digidestined I can fit into this story. Having ALL of them being Senshi seems a bit overkill to me. (。´・д・)o And! It will be already hard to keep track on which people are Senshi in the Digidestined group and which are not while writing this. o(*´д`*)o So, better safe than sorry! ( ・ᴗ・̥̥̥ ) Anyways, happy reading and see ya whenever! |・ω・`)
