23.0 Reeling in the Years Verse

RITY Lincoln groaned in pain in his hospital bed, RITY Ronnie Anne sat by his bedside, holding his hand.

"I knew listening to Alex was a goddamn bad idea." RITY Lincoln groaned.

RITY Ronnie Anne sighed, and said," Well, at least her heart was in the right place. And she didn't know this could happen."

RITY Lincoln groaned again, and looked the stump of his right leg. He was awake, and he wished he wasn't. In this Loop, Alex had gotten the idea of giving him and RITY Ronnie Anne tickets to have a vacation in Vietnam. Apparently it was trend among Vietnam Vets, it was way to fucking reconcile with their demons or some other shit. Even with the Loops, RITY Lincoln still had nightmares and other PTSD shit. So he had thought it was good idea to try.

But, while walking with other tourists in a tour, RITY Lincoln walked off the path for a moment to take a leak. But he stepped on a landmine, and was now in a Vietnamese Hospital with an amputated leg.

But the irony was a big kicker; apparently he had stepped on an American landmine.

He couldn't wait for this Loop to end, so he could have two legs again.

23.1

"LINCOLN! IT'S 3 O'CLOCK! YOU'VE FAILED ME! YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU MAKE LOLA MAD!" Lola yelled in fake rage.

Earlier, Lola had found out Lincoln had been ignoring her, and the rest of the family, by using earplugs. And as a way to get back at him, she and the others had made up fake promises that Lincoln thought he made. And also making him sweat more by thinking he had made a promise to Lola, even though he didn't. And they were all left to see the hilarious sight of Lincoln doing various tasks, in order to not face Lola's wrath.

So now the more fun part, she and the others were confronting Lincoln.

When Lola barged in, she didn't see her brother cower in fear, he did look resigned though. All he was doing was holding out a note to her. Slightly confused, she took it from him, and read it.

"My Last Will. To Lola, my favorite sister, I leave my sole earthly possession…"

Lola gasped in happiness at the last part, and said," One Custard Pie! Let me have it!"

Lincoln let her have it alright; he tossed the pie into her face, and took off. His remaining sisters all looked shocked, and they saw him run down the stairs, and went outside.

They all looked at Lola, who was shaking in rage, and they gulped.

Lola wiped some of the pie off of her face, and yelled," LINCOLN LOUD! YOU ARE GOING TO-"

"Take cover!" Lisa yelled, before Lola could finish.

A large and deafening explosion consumed the house. Due to Lisa's experiment going off.

Lincoln, who was outside, laughed at what happened. He knew what was going to happen, due to him being awake. He had went through the same motions he did in baseline, and when it got to where Lola and the others confronting him, he had a plan.

"Nothing like pie and an explosion that would make your sisters deaf for a bit, to brighten your day." Lincoln mused aloud.

23.2

Lincoln and his friends, minus Clyde, were trying to come up with ideas for their News Show. They then stopped, when Clyde walked in with a tea set.

"Hey guys, I brought some Chai to help with the thinking process. My dad's and Nana said that drinking tea helps with thinking."

He placed the tea set down on the table, and everyone took a cup.

"Thanks Clyde, I always liked Chai Tea." Lincoln said.

Clyde gasped, and said in an incredulous tone," What did you just say?"

Lincoln gave his best friends a confused look, and said," Uh, I said-"

"Chai Tea? Chai Tea! Chai means Tea, bro! You're saying, Tea, Tea, bro! Would I ask you for a cup of coffee coffee, with room for cream cream?"

Lincoln and the others gave Clyde stupefied looks, and Clyde, realizing what he did, chuckled in embarrassment.

"Heh, sorry, it's just that I like tea."

23.3 (Continuation of 22.0)

After the embarrassment, and grumbling about needing to talk to someone, Linka explained the Loops to her now awake sister. And also showed her a couple of things she had gotten from her travels, just to make sure that Lynn knew that this wasn't some elaborate prank or dream."

Lynn blinked, she knew she wasn't the smartest person ever, but she could tell her brother, or sister wasn't pulling one on her.

"Okay… so due to some problem, some tree is broken. And the people in charge or making us and other realities Loop, until the problem could be fixed? And you and some of our family and friends are… Looping Aware? And you and Ronnie Anne are in charge?"

Linka nodded, and said," Pretty much."

Lynn snorted, and said," Why would they make you in charge? It should've been me. I'm the best and greatest. I'm the GOAT. Where's this Greek Goddess you mentioned? I want to-"

Out of all the things Linka thought Lynn would say, she should've expected that reaction.

23.4

Ronnie Anne, Bobby and Carlota sighed miserably as they sat around a fire, along with the rest of their family.

It was the time in the Loop where due to Ernesto Estrella's wording about bad luck, Abuela believed they were cursed. And she did various things to break the bad luck, until they fooled her into believing the bad luck had gone away.

Unfortunately, the three of them had woken up late and found themselves, along with the rest of the family, camping in the woods. Abuela had said that they would return to the city, once their bad luck disappeared.

"Who wants some earthly Tamale's? I made them with what I can find in the forest." Rosa said, as she held out a plate of Tamale's, which looked green and mossy.

No one was interested, except for Hector, and he proceeded to eat a couple.

"Hmm! You can really taste the moss." Hector complimented.

The three Looper's gulped and they started to figure out a way to get themselves out of this mess.

So yeah, short chapter this time, I couldn't really think of any Loops, I do have a couple who were suggested, but I'm planning on doing at a later date. So yeah, please keep on sending me ideas.

23.0: I forgot what chapter it was, but Alex had the thought of what would happen if she were to send her parents on a vacation to Vietnam. And she believed RITY Lincoln would somehow end up stepping on and get injured by a landmine. And that's how I got the idea.
