Disclaimers: This is a crossover between Sailor Moon and Digimon. I do not own these two shows. Sailor Moon is written by Naoko Takeuchi in manga form and aired as a series by Toei Animation and TV Asahi in Japan and by Kodansha Comics in North America. Digimon is produced by Toei Animation and Bandai of Japan that began in 1999.
As Usagi's relatives looked at the haggard-looking males that followed them, they still couldn't help but wonder just what kind of training the Shiten'nō gave to their fellow Digidestined. Motoki could tell that they were very tired and felt like he should postpone the inevitable talk. He, however, knew that it was better to get this particular discussion over with. The Shiten'nō already knew what kind of talk the four were going to give to their fellow Digidestined. Sighing inwardly, Motoki took a look at his relatives and saw that they were in trepidation on what kind of talk they were going to have with the four males. "Arigatō for getting us out of that training," said Takuya tiredly.
"Do we want to know what they have you do," questioned Takato.
"They said it was for endurance and stamina training," sighed Taiki who looked just as weary.
"Ah," said Motoki, "Those methods."
"You knew that was going to happen," questioned Takuya with a raised eyebrow.
"Īe," said Motoki, "Yet, I had an inkling as to what those four were up to. I mean, this training was used during the Silver Millennium for all of us."
The four Digidestined and their Digimon partners looked at each other before sighing in unison. They knew that the Shiten'nō probably had a good idea on how to train them, but a training that was outdated and probably borderline torturous? They prayed that the other Digidestined and Digimon can come out of that training alive when they were done with whatever Motoki wanted them for, and speaking of what Motoki wanted… "So, why did you ask us specifically," questioned Taichi.
"One of us is going to tell you something," said Yamato, "And it may shock you. Heck! It shocked us when Motoki explained whatever we're going to tell you."
"Come on, buddy," said Taichi who got some energy back and placed an arm around Yamato's shoulders, "We're all Digidestined. I'm sure whatever you are going to tell us won't shock us."
"You'd be surprised," said an amused Solarmon.
"Huh," questioned Takuya, "What's that supposed to mean?"
"You'll find out… soon," said Takato who was NOT looking forward in explaining.
When Usagi's relatives guided the four towards a door, they were not expecting the door to open up and reveal a sleeping Usagi. Motoki explained that Usagi wanted to be the one to tell Taiki what was going on, but due to using too much energy, she was asleep… again. Taiki nodded his head as he thought about what this discussion might be about. Did Usagi wanted to break up with Taiki? Yet, that didn't make sense to drag Takuya, Daisuke, and Taichi out of the training as well. Thinking about it, Taiki and Shoutmon walked into the room and settled next to Usagi's sleeping form. Motoki, Yamato, Takeru, and Takato looked approvingly at Taiki before closing the door, giving the couple some sort of privacy. "Now that Taiki is watching over Usagi," said Motoki, "It's time for me to make some food and refreshments for our fellow training Digidestined."
"What," questioned Taichi, "You brought us up here to just bring Taiki in to see Usagi?"
"Well, as we said," said Motoki, "We have to tell you something. However, I am SO glad that Yamato, Takeru, and Takato volunteered to be telling you this. I did NOT want to be explaining again."
"Lazy onīchan," sighed Takato before grabbing Takuya's wrist, "Come on, Takuya. I volunteered to tell you what this is all about."
"Uh, alright," said a confused Takuya.
Yamato and Takeru sighed as they glared a bit at Motoki. It would have been nice for Motoki to be the one explaining while Yamato, Takeru, and Takato threatened them a little bit. However, Motoki conveniently had another agenda as he swiftly went back down the stairs to start on cooking food for the hungry Digimon and Digidestined alike. He knew that they will need to refuel before training once more. Motoki smiled to himself as he knew that Yamato and Takeru took Taichi and Daisuke, respectively, to different rooms to talk to them. He, however, jumped when he heard three distinct males yell out… "I'm one of Usagi's WHAT?!"
- With Takato & Takuya –
"So, dude," said Takuya, "What do you want to talk about?"
When Takato and Takuya left the group to be on their own, Takato dragged Takuya into Takato's guest bedroom. It was appropriate to say his guest bedroom because that's where Takato would sleep whenever he was in Kōtō to stay with Motoki. There, Takato closed his door just as Takuya sat on Takato's bed with questioning eyes. Guilmon was circling around before settling into a nap while still being alert if any Digimon biomerged from the Digital World, especially when they have evil Digimon enemies to worry about… again. Pinching between his eyes with his index finger and thumb, Takato braced himself for his talk with Takuya. "So… you know how you were glowing silver," questioned Takato.
"Is that what you are going to explain to me," questioned Takuya before… "Finally! I've been trying to figure out why only we four were glowing that color along with our respective colors."
"You… were," questioned Takato.
"Of course," said Takuya, "It's just weird that only four of us glowed silver when ALL of us got our powers from Usagi."
"Right," said Takato, "Anyways, Motoki told Yamato, Takeru, our Digimon partners, Usagi, and me just what that meant."
"You mean Usagi didn't know either," questioned Takuya.
"Īe," said Takato with a shake of his head, "Demo, to be fair, her memories are still Swiss cheese, as she would put it."
Takuya nodded his head as he remembered just what Usagi, or rather, the Ginzuishō had explained to everyone about Usagi's past. It too probably didn't know that there were other hidden memories from time long ago. As he thought about it, he is probably guessing that whatever discussion Takato was going to tell them was going to be about the past. Takuya tuned back to Takato as he heard Takato take a deep breath. "According to Motoki," said Takato, "The silver glow indicates that someone has the potential to be WITH Usagi and… marry her. So, congratulations, Takuya! You are one of Usagi's potential suitors for her hand in marriage!"
"I'm one of Usagi's WHAT," yelled out Takuya.
- With Takeru & Daisuke –
"In here," said Takeru.
"What's this all about, T.S.," questioned Daisuke.
When Motoki left his relatives and the potential suitors to themselves, Takeru quickly dragged Daisuke towards one of the bedrooms. This bedroom was actually designed as a guest room for whenever Takeru wanted to stay in Kōtō to hang out with his imōto. As Daisuke and Takeru entered the room, Takeru closed the door and locked it, preventing Daisuke from leaving the room. Daisuke, on his part, sweated a bit due to Takeru locking the room. He didn't know what Takeru was doing, but his imagination was going in the wrong way. "Uh, T.B.," said Daisuke nervously, "Why did you lock the door?"
"So, you won't run away when I tell you what Motoki told Yama-nī, Taka-itoko, my imōto, our Digimon, and me," said Takeru with confusion in his face, "Motoki just literally told you, Tai, Taiki, and Takuya why we brought you upstairs."
"Ah, right," said Daisuke who tried to keep cool, "I knew that."
"Why is your face turning red, Dai," questioned Chibimon.
"N-No reason," said Daisuke.
Takeru, Patamon, and Chibimon looked at Daisuke weirdly. For some reason, Daisuke forgot that Motoki wanted Takeru, Yamato, and Takato to talk to Takuya, Taichi, and him on a matter that may or may not be important than the new evil. Daisuke, on his part, tried to stop his blushing at what his wild imagination thought up of by shaking his head side to side. Takeru just sighed at Daisuke's weirdness before motioning him to sit on his bed while he sat at his desk chair. "S-So, what did you want to discuss, T.F.," said Daisuke.
"Remember that you, Taichi, Taiki, and Takuya were the only ones to glow silver with your respective colors," questioned Takeru who ignored Daisuke getting his nickname wrong… again.
"Hai," said Daisuke.
"Well, Motoki just told us what that meant," said Takeru, "And please remember that Celestia didn't know about this too."
"O~kay~," said a confused Daisuke, "So, what did that glow meant."
"Well, according to 'Toki-itoko," said Takeru, "The silver glow indicates that someone has the potential to be WITH Usagi and… marry her. So, congratulations, Dai-kun! You are one of Usagi's potential suitors for her hand in marriage!"
"I'm one of Usagi's WHAT," yelled out Daisuke.
"And don't forget that Patamon and I are watching you closely," said Takeru who ignored the yelling while glaring at Daisuke threatening, "So, no funny business, especially trying to break up imōto and Taiki up."
- With Yamato & Taichi –
"Nice room," said Taichi.
"Well, it's my room within 'Toki's home," said Yamato, "So, of course, my room looks awesome."
As everyone split up, Yamato took Taichi to where they could have the private talk… his own guest room. Yamato was not eager to tell Taichi about him being Usagi's potential suitor. Heck! He wanted to keep ALL of the boys away from his lovely imōto. However, he knew that Usagi was growing up. He couldn't always protect her from everything, especially the boys, but if his imōto ever cries, he will be there for her in a flash and beat whoever made her cry up. He just hoped that it wouldn't have to be Taiki once Usagi tells him. Going into his personal guest room, Yamato gestured Taichi to sit on the bed while he sat at his desk chair. Agumon also sat next to Taichi while Gabumon closed Yamato's door. "How about T.K. and Takato," questioned Taichi, "Don't they have rooms here too?"
"Un," nodded Yamato, "They probably took Daisuke and Takuya into their rooms for that talk."
"Talk, huh," murmured Taichi before stating, "So, what's this discussion about?"
"Well," hesitated Yamato.
"Is it that bad that you are hesitating," questioned Taichi.
"Uh, not really," said Yamato, "I just don't want you to know this, demo 'Toki will probably have my hide if I don't tell you."
"Then, tell me," said Taichi with a shrug, "What's the worst that could happen?"
"Uh… well," said Yamato before blurting out, "The silver glow indicates that someone has the potential to be WITH Usagi and… marry her. So, congratulations, Taichi, my man! You are one of Usagi's potential suitors for her hand in marriage!"
"I'm one of Usagi's WHAT," yelled out Taichi in shock.
Yamato grimaced while looking at Taichi who was shocked still on his bed. Yamato didn't know if he wanted to cry or laugh at Taichi's gaping mouth hanging open from what Yamato just told him. Taichi, on his part, was glad that he was sitting on Yamato's bed because he thought he was about to faint. Him? A potential suitor to Usagi? He knew that he had a small crush on Yamato's cute imōto, but since she was with Taiki, he tried to let his crush be. Shaking his head, Taichi looked at Yamato and said, "You must be joking! I-I'm not compatible with her."
"The Ginzuishō does not lie," said Yamato before… "Probably."
"D-Demo," said Taichi, "The Ginzuishō could be wrong. I mean, it was wrong when Usa didn't have to fight anymore…"
"…Anymore of the Negaverse," said Yamato, "I know. Demo, you saw the silver glow. 'Toki explained that the wish from the late Queen Serenity IV to make sure her daughter ended up with someone that makes her happy."
"And the wish is still in use," questioned a surprised Taichi.
"Yup," confirmed Yamato, "But, hey! You can just ignore it 'cause it's not like you like my imōto or anything."
"Uh," said Taichi hesitantly.
When Taichi hesitated, Yamato finally looked at his best friend. He could see that Taichi had red cheeks just by Yamato absentmindedly stating that he didn't have a crush on his imōto. Yamato, upon seeing that, gaped at Taichi before narrowing his eyes. Of course, his best friend wouldn't tell him about a certain crush on his imōto. He also couldn't believe he never saw that coming because Taichi expressed his feelings for a certain Crest of Love holder. Yamato and he also mocked fight each other for that certain holder's affections too! Now, however, he is witnessing a secret that Taichi never told him… and for good reason. "I can't believe you," exclaimed Yamato, "My imōto is THREE YEARS younger than you!"
"At least, I'm not like ten plus years older than her," pointed out Taichi.
"Ugh," groaned out Yamato who ignored Taichi's statement, "I should totally kill you for crushing on my imōto."
"Gomen, Yama," said Taichi who was scrambling off the bed to get away from a twitching Yamato, "I just can't help what I feel."
"Taichi," grounded out Yamato with a glare at Taichi's direction.
"Should we stop them," questioned Agumon who was watching a weary Taichi and a growing-angry Yamato.
"Let's just let this play out," said Gabumon, "We shouldn't get involved in potential mating."
"True," said Agumon.
"Who said anything about mating," yelped out Taichi while Yamato yelped out, "My imōto isn't mating with anyone until she's forty!"
- With Taiki –
"I'm one of Usagi's WHAT?!"
"I wonder what that was all about," said Taiki with a frown, "And what's that about Usa-chan?"
"Maybe we should wake Usagi up, Taiki," said Shoutmon.
"You'll do no such thing," said Lunamon who whacked Shoutmon over the head.
"Itai," yelped out Shoutmon.
"Yeah," said Taiki with a sweat-drop at Lunamon hitting Shoutmon repeatedly for his suggestion, "Let's make sure Usa-chan gets enough rest before we discover whatever that shouting was about."
"Fine," groaned out Shoutmon who held his head in pain, Lunamon puffing her chest out in triumph.
AN: Well, three out of four know what's going on. ╭( ・ㅂ・)و ̑̑ Now, onto the emotional chapter with Usagi and Taiki. (◞‸ლ) Though, I gotta think on that. "(ლ)" Whelp! At least, Yamato is reigning in his anger at Taichi having a slight crush on Usagi. (^v^)Hm… will Takuya and Daisuke reveal their itty bitty crush on Usagi too? ( ¬_¬) Well, gotta wait for the next chap to find out! (゜▽゜;) So, happy reading and see ya laterz! |・ω・`)
