Disclaimers: This is a crossover between Sailor Moon and Digimon. I do not own these two shows. Sailor Moon is written by Naoko Takeuchi in manga form and aired as a series by Toei Animation and TV Asahi in Japan and by Kodansha Comics in North America. Digimon is produced by Toei Animation and Bandai of Japan that began in 1999.
"What do you mean that Vamdemon is back," spat out Tailmon.
The following day, Taichi called all of the Digidestined together once more for a meeting after school ended. The other Digidestined were worried that something else happened, Yamato and Takeru fretting about their imōto. They knew that Taichi and Usagi had their first suitor's date yesterday, and if Taichi was calling for a meeting, then something bad happened. They even hugged Usagi closed to them when the two brothers saw Usagi walking into the meeting room with Hotaru and Naru. Masaru was muttering about how Naru should have been in school with Chika while waiting for the meeting to start. No one was surprised that Daisuke came into the meeting room late. Once everyone settled down, Usagi and Taichi told them that the two were attacked by a Sealsdramon and a Vamdemon. The panicked kick to that was when the two revealed that they were old enemies of their respective Digidestined group. "I was sure we defeated Vamdemon," muttered an angry Takeru.
"Are you alright, Usa," questioned Akari, "I know that Sealsdramon targeted you more than the rest of us in our adventure."
"I'm fine," said Usagi who smiled at Taichi, "Tai-kun protected me from the attacks."
"It was nothing," said a bashful Taichi.
"Arigatō for keeping imōto safe, Tai," said Yamato.
"Were you hurt as well, Tai," questioned Hikari.
"Un," nodded Taichi, "Demo, Bunny patched me up well. You can't even tell that I got hurt."
As Taichi reassured Hikari about his injuries, Usagi's relatives, Takuya, the original Ōdaiba Digidestined, and the original Senshi raised an eyebrow simultaneously. They knew that Taichi would keep Usagi safe, but to also gift her with a nickname that fast? And on the first suitor date? Hotaru and Naru shared glances before looking at Taiki. Taiki, on his part, heard the nickname that Taichi gave Usagi and felt a hint of jealousy. He, however, knew that it may be his fault for pushing this situation at Usagi, but can someone blame him? He knows that Usagi has genuine feelings for him, for Usagi can NOT lie to save her life. However, he also knows that Usagi has a big heart to love another. Taiki sighed mentally. If Usagi wants to date Taichi, he's not going to stop her, but he and Taichi really should talk about this. For now, he concentrates on what the meeting is about. "Do you think our enemies are going to come back," asked a worried Yoshino.
"Could be," said Kōji with a frown before lying, "We still don't know who is behind all of this."
"That's true," said a frowning Izumi who was clenching her Digivice.
"I guess we have to prepare to have our own enemies after us," said a concerned Junpei.
"Do we even have enemies besides Lucemon," questioned Tomoki, making the Senshi flinched inwardly.
"Well," said a thinking Takuya, "There's SkullSatamon."
"Don't forget about the Royal Knights," said Kōichi."
"Ugh," groaned out Masaru, "Not those guys."
"You have Royal Knights as well," questioned a surprised Junpei.
With that, the meeting derailed to listing all of the villains all of the Digidestined encountered. Ken winced when Daisuke mentioned Mummymon and Arukenimon. Takato was surprised to hear about another Dukemon. Taichi and Yamato exchanged worried glances when they heard about another Omegamon, Taiki, Akari, Yuu, and Usagi doing the same. Just how many repeated Digimon that the group faced anyways? It was just a very happy notion when Izzy compiled everything everyone was saying in a document on his laptop. "So, I am guessing that we are going to have repeated Digimon from the many Digital Worlds we protect coming after us," said a desponded Jō.
"It could be worse," said Sora.
"And what would be worse than past villains coming after us," questioned Iori.
"They could be working for someone else," said Miyako, "Remember you said that Youma were appearing after our Digimon partners smell other Digimon."
"Ugh," groaned out Mimi, "Don't jinx us like this, Miyako."
"Yeah," agreed Naru, "You just might make things worse."
- Later: At The Crown –
"Miyako jinxed us," groaned out Mimi.
Once the Digidestined dispersed with Hotaru and Naru going to, quote unquote, hang out with Usagi, the actual meeting of the Senshi began. They also got in contact with the Shiten'nō who came through a black portal made of stars. They knew that it was Nephrite who created it as everyone settled down and turned their attentions on Taichi and Usagi again. Taichi and Usagi sighed mentally as they repeated their encounter with Sealsdramon and Vamdemon, this time not leaving out the dark nega-energy the two used. Now that the Senshi were all on the same page, Mimi definitely blamed the jinxing to Miyako. "This is most troubling," said a worried Jenrya.
"Tell me about it," said Ruki.
"I supposed Metalia knows how to fuse her energy within the Digimon," said Izzy, "Just like how you all are helping us do that with our Senshi powers."
"Just let me at that pain of a vampire," snarled Tailmon.
"Relax, kitty," said BlackTailmon, "You'll get your chance to harm that villain."
"The biggest pains will be the Royal Knights though," said a worried Sora.
"That's right," said Yuu, "You have Royal Knights who are supposed to be Kyūkyoku-tai (Ultimate) level."
"Don't remind us," whined out Patamon.
The other Digimon nodded their heads. They battled against Ultimate levels of Digimon before, but it was still a pain. They would be totally wiped out after defeating the Ultimates. One instance was Agumon as WarGreymon fighting against Piemon. It took a lot out of Agumon just to win against the strong Ultimate. Even with the help of MetalGarurumon, the both got reverted back to their in-training forms. The other Digimon could also remember times they fought and were reverted back to in-training forms or too injured to fight and protect their partners. They didn't want to even think about how they would be going up against a Metalia fused Lucemon. "I guess Metalia remembers how to fuse energy into another being by how much the other Senshi would send energy into Sailor Moon," said a thoughtful Jadeite.
"How can you be sure," questioned Takeru.
"We aren't," said Kunzite, "It is just a speculation at best."
"Well, you do have to admit that most villains Usa-chan has fought," said Motoki, "Have witnessed the Senshi calling on their planetary powers and fusing with her before the bright silver light."
"True," said Naru, "We weren't there, sadly, demo the Ginzuishō showed us her memories, remember?"
"We do," said Yamato with a frown.
"Yeah," said Takato, "I rather not see you get hurt again, Celestia."
"It's Usagi," said Taiki, Takuya, Taichi, Naru, Hotaru, Motoki, and Usagi together.
When that automatic response happened, everyone started to laugh. They knew how the original Senshi liked to be called after their previous life, even if they didn't know that before becoming Senshi themselves. That laugh was the key to relieve the tension around the Senshi meeting. Everyone was very tense after the Digidestined one due to how many villains was being categorized. Yet, with this laugh about a name of all things, the tension seemed to ease up. "Now that we know Usa's name," said an amused Hotaru, "I think we should practice fusing our Digimon with our planetary powers."
"That means," said Usagi, "I have enough power to make Yuu into a Senshi Knight!"
"After that," said a serious Motoki, "Bed rest for you. The others and I can handle coaching them how to transfer energy."
"Hai, hai," said Usagi with a sigh.
"Don't hai us," said Yamato who crossed his arms, "You know that if you overtax yourself, it may lead you into an early grave. I, for one, do NOT want to see you like that."
"Agreed," said the original Senshi and Usagi's relatives together.
Usagi just pouted with her arms crossed before sighing. She knew that they were just looking out for her, but she also knew her limits. She just has the habit of ignoring said limits. Gesturing for Yuu to follow her, the others watched as the two and their Digimon partners left the room. There, all eyes turned towards Taichi who sweat-dropped at what they were doing. "Uh, what's up, guys," questioned Taichi.
"Bunny, Taichi," questioned Takuya with a grin.
"How unoriginal," scoffed Sora with a teasing voice in said statement.
"W-Well," said a now blushing Taichi, "I-It just came out."
"When did you start calling Usagi that, Tai," questioned Mimi.
"Uh… um… yesterday," questioned Taichi.
The others looked at Taichi in surprise. They were sure that it would have been a while for him to call Usagi something and thought he did that in secret when Usagi and he hung out with Yamato and Takeru. But, to call her a nickname just only yesterday? They all thought Taichi had it bad for Usagi, making Yamato and Takeru apprehensive. Don't get them wrong. They were happy if Usagi was with someone they trusted explicitly, but Taichi was still their friend. Takeru and Yamato knew Taichi's personality the best due to fighting alongside him in the Digital World. He was very loyal and trustworthy, yet they worry. The two brothers, along with Takato and Motoki, took a look at the actual boyfriend/fiancé. Taiki was just watching as everyone else teased Taichi about his nickname for Usagi. It didn't seem as Taiki was burning with jealousy, which surprised them. Maybe because it was his idea for Usagi to date his competitions? It wasn't long that they gave Taiki suspicious looks as he walked over to Taichi. "Taichi-san," said Taiki.
"Ah, hai," questioned Taichi.
"I would like to speak with you," said Taiki.
"Um, if this is about Usa's nickname, don't get mad," said Taichi, "I've called her that in my head for a while and just blurted it out one day."
"It's not about the nickname," said Taiki.
"Oh, okay," said Taichi who was sweating a bit.
Standing up, Taichi followed Taiki out and up the stairs towards one of the rooms. Taichi could actually FEEL the eyes following his every move while Usagi and Yuu were in the special room. Taichi didn't know what Taiki wanted to talk about, but he figured that it was about Usagi. He knew that they had a so-called date yesterday, courtesy of Yamato and Takeru, but he didn't think if Taiki knew that Usagi was out with him. He knew that for some odd days, Daisuke would date Usagi, and don't get him started about Takuya. He remembered Usagi being with Takuya for months in Takuya's Digital World. At least, if he took Usagi into a Digital World, his Digital World was in the same wavelength as reality. Taichi mentally shook his head about thinking about future dates with Usagi when Taiki led him to a room full of… plushies? "This is Usa-chan's room," answered Taiki.
"Why did you bring me to Bunny's room," asked Taichi.
"I want to talk to you about your feelings for Usa-chan," said Taiki.
"Eh," questioned a gaping Taichi, "F-Feelings? Pssh! I don't have feelings for her."
"If you didn't, you wouldn't already have a nickname for her in mind already," said a deadpanned Taiki.
"Look," said Taichi, "Even if I do… um… did have feelings for her, she's with you, man. I'm not going to be getting in between you two. You two love each other."
Taiki looked at Taichi and studied his face. He knew that Usagi loves him, but he also knew that the Ginzuishō wouldn't have lit up three other people if he was supposed to be the only one with Usagi. He had time to calm down when Usagi told him months ago about what that silver shining light represented. He was beating himself over and over within his mind for even suggesting that idea of Usagi suitor dating with the others. Yet, he also paused when he thought on WHY the four glowed. It was true that Motoki said that their past mother, Queen Serenity IV, made a wish, but was it that simple? He recalled that Usagi needed a LOT of energy just so that she would die. So, maybe Usagi was supposed to have more than one suitor to help her replenish her life energy just so she doesn't die again? Taiki sighed inwardly as those thoughts popped up in his head as he continued to stare at Taichi. "Uh," said a hesitant Taichi, "Why are you looking at me like that?"
"Taichi-san," said Taiki. "How would you like to be in a relationship with Usagi and me?"
"Say wha～," yelped out Taichi.
AN: Well, they don't call Kudō Taiki the Red General for no reason. (๑ᴗ๑) Since the fanfiction is moving along, I have finally made this fanfic story a TaichiღUsagiღTaiki coupling. ( ⌯◞◟⌯) I feel like Usagi needs stronger bonds of love just so that she won't DIE because she uses WAY too much energy just to save lives.
