Disclaimers: This is a crossover between Sailor Moon and Digimon. I do not own these two shows. Sailor Moon is written by Naoko Takeuchi in manga form and aired as a series by Toei Animation and TV Asahi in Japan and by Kodansha Comics in North America. Digimon is produced by Toei Animation and Bandai of Japan that began in 1999.

Taichi couldn't believe what he was hearing from Taiki. Here the two teens were, in Usagi's room, and talking about relationships. Don't get him wrong. Taichi would be thrilled to be actually dating Usagi instead of suitor dating her and realizing that Usagi wouldn't choose him in the end. But, here was Taiki suggesting that the both of them date Usagi simultaneously. He could even tell that Taiki wasn't feeling a bit jealous when he suggested this idea to him. He, however, just couldn't believe his ears as he questioned Taiki again. Taiki, on his part, knew that this idea was coming out of a left field, but for months, Taiki had time to think. "You heard me," said Taiki with his arms crossed.

"Yeah, man," said Taichi, "Demo, I didn't even think that you, of all people, would suggest this."

"Well, think about it," said Taiki, "Why did you think four of us glowed?"

"Yamato told me this," said Taichi with a frown, "It was Motoki who revealed that in the Silver Millennium, Queen Serenity IV made a wish for a suitor that was compatible with Bunny."

"Okay," said Taiki, "Demo, I don't think it's that simple."

"Eh," questioned Taichi.

Taiki could tell that Taichi was confused on what Taiki was talking about. Sighing inwardly, Taiki cursed his nickname as being the Red General in his Digital World. He knew that he was a great planner, albeit not the best at taking care of himself, but he also knew that Taichi wasn't that oblivious to the signs. Taiki ran a hand over his hair before looking straight at Taichi. Taichi, on his part, had the urge to sit up straight when Taiki looked at him with narrowed eyes. He, unconsciously, knew that Taiki was getting ready to break down what he thought the glow actually meant. "Taichi, what if the wish wasn't to find another suitor, but to find people to help Usa-chan NOT die from energy lose?"

"Eh," questioned Taichi.

"Think about it," said Taiki, "In Usa's past, that Mamoru character couldn't even give enough energy to Usa until she died."

"Don't remind me," said Taichi with a dark look on his face, remembering a certain time with the evil flower monster.

"Well, after the fight Usa and I had," said an embarrassed Taiki, "I had time to think."

Taichi looked at Taiki incredulously. If he thought Taiki letting Usagi date her other suitors as a fight argument, then Taiki really needed to know more about relationships. You just don't push the one you love in the arms of another. That wasn't how relationships work. Also, suggesting that the three of them become a trio without the third person in the conversation? It was also not a good way to get good points with the girl. Taichi sighed inwardly as he tuned back to what Taiki was talking about. "So, you had time to think," questioned Taichi.

"Un," nodded Taiki, "It let me think about all the memories that were shown by the Ginzuishō. Didn't you realize that even with the help of the other Senshi, it was left to the guy to transfer the most energy to Usagi through touch?"

"Not really," said Taichi, "The Senshi also send their energy to Bunny as well. We don't know how much energy they usually transfer to Bunny."

"Exactly," said Taiki who pointed at Taichi, "With that knowledge, we don't even know how much energy that Mamoru guy sent to Usa either. So, he either wasn't sending enough energy because he was holding back or…"

"…Or he didn't have that much energy to help keep Bunny alive," said Taichi with realization in his eyes.

"Bingo," said Taiki with a snap of his fingers, "So, what if the Ginzuishō knew of this ever since it took the life from Queen Serenity IV? The wish from long ago could be what made the Ginzuishō decide that its wielder needed more life energy between people?"

"I think you don't know what you are talking about," said Taichi with a skeptical look on his face.

"I am," said Taiki, "It's just hard to explain. We know that the Senshi can contribute their energy to Usa, but we never seen them actually give ALL of their energy to her. Also, because of that, they, along with that Mamoru guy, still had energy to move around. Yet, for Usa…"

"She gets the sad ending," said Taichi with a sigh.

"Exactly," said Taiki with a frown.

Both Taichi and Taiki felt like they were on the same wavelength as they thought about what was going on. Taiki's theory was holding some resemblance of truth, yet Taichi felt that the Ginzuishō just wants Usagi to be happy. Whether it was to be with Taiki, him, or both of them, Taichi knew that he would also want Usagi to be happy. He could also see that Taiki felt the same when he decided to let Usagi date Takuya, Daisuke, and him. Though, to be fair, Taiki did bring up a good theory. "So, your theory is that Usagi needs more than one person in a relationship to be kept alive," questioned Taichi.

"In theory," said Taiki, "Truthfully though?"

"Hai," questioned Taichi.

"Usa-chan has a most purest and biggest heart a girl could ever have," said Taiki, "I'm sure that for her happiness, the Ginzuishō wants her to be happiest she has ever been, and if it wants Usa-chan to have more than one partner to be happy in THIS third life…"

"…Then, it would do something weird to make her happiness reach to the fullest," finished Taichi.

"Un," nodded Taiki.

Taichi sighed as a headache was forming from his head. He knew that Taiki had good intentions as well when he let Usagi date the others. For now, they had to talk with Usagi about everything. Usagi needed to know that the Ginzuishō is probably meddling with her love life like how a mother or father would. Usagi didn't need the extra stress when it became to love relationships. Sighing once more, Taichi looked at Taiki before… "Alright," said Taichi, "I agree that we can try to be a trio instead the normal couple, but!"

"But," questioned Taiki.

"Usagi needs to be here to hear your theory, your absolute sincere apology, AND she will decide if she wants to try this or not," said Taichi firmly.

"Deal," said Taiki.

- A Few Moments Later –

"You want to what," questioned Usagi incredulously.

After Taichi and Taiki's talk, the boys left to find Usagi. They both belatedly forgot that they took up Usagi's room when they were having a deep conversation with one another. Taichi and Taiki felt bad that they commandeered Usagi's bedroom like that when she was using her energy to make Yuu a Senshi like the rest of them. They, with embarrassed faces, asked Usagi's relatives on where Usagi was because they needed to talk with her. Motoki raised an eyebrow at that but decided to tell the two boys that Usagi was resting in his room that was a couple of doors down from where Usagi's bedroom was. Taichi and Taiki quickly thanked Motoki before heading towards the aforementioned bedroom. There, Taiki knocked on the door and waited for Usagi to let them in. Once her answer came, both Taichi and Taiki were in the room and telling Usagi everything. "Taiki wants all three of us to be in a relationship," said Taichi.

"W-Why," questioned a confused Usagi, "I thought Taiki did this idea because he was scared I wouldn't pick him?"

"Well, I had a lot of time to think," said a sheepish Taiki, "Hai, I do want you to be with me, demo I also realized the Ginzuishō may have had another idea entirely."
"Huh," asked a confused Usagi.

"Usa-chan, please be honest," said Taiki, "How much energy does Mamoru USUALLY give you after the Senshi do?"

"Um," said Usagi, "I-I'm not sure. Probably enough to just defeat the monster?"

"Not enough to sustain both you and him then," said a contemplated Taichi.

"Eh," questioned Usagi.

"Taiki has a theory that you need more than one person to stabilize you so you don't… you know… die," said Taichi bashfully.

Usagi blinked more as Taichi told her Taiki's theory. She could tell that Taiki was being his Red General persona as he nodded his head at what Taichi was saying. Thinking back, it was a great boost of powers with just the Senshi, yet sometimes it wasn't enough and she would faint or, in a bad way, die. She also had to just think about her mother without anyone helping her with her life energy as the Ginzuishō drained her to lock up the entire Negaverse the first time. She could see how Taiki's theory had merits, but with her first crush and her first boyfriend in THIS lifetime? Could that relationship work? Shaking her head mentally, Usagi looked at both of them. "Tell me," said Usagi. "How do you FEEL about all of this?"

"Nani," questioned the two.

"You heard me," said Usagi who crossed her arms while still in bed, "How do you feel if we all are in a relationship together?"

"When Taiki suggested it," said Taichi with a thoughtful look, "I thought he was joking at first. I know for a fact you two would get back together, and that kind of made me jealous. I kind of had a crush on you, Bunny, for a while. Yet, I knew that you would honor that marriage contract. That's just who you are. So, I pushed those feelings away until… well… now."

"Taichi," murmured Usagi.

"Yet, thinking on this," said Taichi who rubbed the back of his head sheepishly, "I would at least try to be in a relationship with BOTH of you if that would make you happy, Bunny. I would get to learn to share you with Taiki and who knows? We all will actually love this relationship with Taiki and I being best of friends and comparing leadership skills."

"Taiki," questioned Usagi who was slightly blushing at Taichi's confession of a crush.

Taiki flinched inwardly at the display of affection. He knew that he was probably going to have to get used to Usagi responding to Taichi's feelings, but the jealousy was still there. Taiki bit his lower lip unconsciously as he thought about what Usagi was talking about. It was kind of rare for him to express his feelings so openly, especially in front of a fellow Digidestined leader, but Taichi had the most experience. Thinking back, he was very sure that his feelings for Usagi had never changed. Taiki took a deep breath before speaking to the two, Usagi being the focus of his stare. "As I said before we have gotten together, I have had time to grow feelings for you," said Taiki, "It just came out when NeoVamdemon the Moonlight captured you that those feelings grew more into love."

"There's a NeoVamdemon," muttered a shocked Taichi to himself.

"When the Senshi thing came out," said Taiki who ignored Taichi's mumblings, "The protectiveness and love grew more. Here you are, a strong person taking on the world, but at the same time, I could see how this was stressing you out. I shouldn't have also added your stress when I made you date the other suitors. Gomen ne, Usa-chan."

"I forgive you," said Usagi softly, "It still hurts how you don't trust me, demo I guess you had a really good reason."

"Hai," said Taiki, "As I said, I have been thinking on why the Ginzuishō lit four of us like a Christmas tree when we unlocked our Senshi powers, demo I know that we can discuss this more later. However, you asked about my feelings about this, and the answer is… My feelings for you will never change. Going into the Digital World opened my eyes to my feelings for you, and being with you made me so incredibly happy. Just as what Taichi said, it may be a while, demo I can get used to us being a trio. I will also keep into consideration about your feelings and reign in my jealousy until I am comfortable with being in a trio."

"Taiki," said Usagi with a smile on her face.

"Now, Usa-chan," said Taiki, "You asked us about our feelings, demo what about what YOU want?"

Usagi looked a bit taken aback by Taiki's question. She thought about what she really wanted. On the one hand, Taiki and Usagi were definitely still a couple. On the other hand, Usagi's crush on Taichi long ago came back up, especially during their fun date turned saving each other's lives. Usagi also thought about what Taichi and Taiki talked about, about how Usagi would probably need more than one person to help her with the life energy depletion if it got to that part of their lives. She knew that she became stronger during each battle in her second life, but she also could see her dying because she didn't have enough life energy to sustained her. She grimaced inwardly just thinking about all the times she fought alone and came out almost dying, and that was WITHOUT the aid of her Senshi or Mamoru. Looking deep inside of herself, she really wanted to try being a trio with Taiki and Taichi but also didn't want to hurt them as well. "I," started Usagi before pausing and then resuming, "I want to try to be a trio with both of you. What you said was sound about the life energy part, demo please don't think that I am in a relationship with you two just because of that."

"We won't," rushed out Taichi and Taiki.

"I want to be in a relationship with both of you because I do have real feelings for both of you," confessed Usagi who continued through the brief interruption, "I admit that I have had a crush on Taichi when Taiki and I were only friends and he came over with Yama- and Take-. I thought the crush went away when I started to develop honest feelings for Taiki and dated him after our Digital World adventure. However, dating Taichi reignited the old crush. So looks at both of them I want to try being a trio with you two."

Taiki and Taichi were surprised by her confession, Taichi more so than Taiki. Usagi had a crush on him for a long time while he was crushing back? Taichi shook his head mentally as he stared at Usagi before turning his stare at Taiki. He knew that for this to work out, Taiki and Taichi would have to hang out with one another and find a common ground that WASN'T about Usagi. Taiki, on his part, knew that Usagi had a big heart to love the both of them, and he was correct in telling Usagi that he would try to get along with Taichi as well. Taiki smiled at Usagi warmly and nodded his head. "Then, that's what we are going to do," said Taiki, "We'll give this trio thing a try."

"I'm all for that," said Taichi.

"Arigatō to you both for being so understanding and communicating with me," said Usagi.

"It was the right thing to do," said Taichi, "You are part of this relationship, and as they say, a happy communication is a happy relationship."

"Don't forget trust," said Taiki, "Which I will work on from now on. Demo, cut me some slack! This is our first real relationship, Usa-chan."

"Oh, I will," said Usagi before saying in a teasing tone, "Yet for my family…"

"Ah man," said Taiki who shivered.

Taichi burst out laughing at Taiki's plight. He knew all about Yamato's fierce protectiveness over his younger siblings, especially towards Usagi. He knew that Taiki had a long way to go for the relatives to forgive him for giving Usagi heartbreak. Though, speaking about Usagi's heartbreak, he probably should tell Taiki to add Takuya to the list because he was sure Takuya viewed Usagi as an imōto of his as well. Usagi, on her part, giggled at Taiki's facial expression before giving a kiss to Taiki's cheek in reassurance. Though, she also kissed Taichi's cheek as well before smiling at the two. What shocked the three after Usagi gave an innocent cheek kiss was the soft glowing silver light surround the three of them. "Uh," questioned a confused Taichi, "What was that?"

"Swiss cheese memories here," reminded Usagi, "So, have no idea what was up with the whole light show."

"So, Motoki," questioned Taiki.

"Motoki," agreed the two.

AN: Motoki just has ALL the answers because of course, his memories aren't Swiss cheese. (⌒▽⌒)Don't worry. I have a wonderful idea for the newly trio and the others who are going to be there… in the next chapter! ( ^∇^) This chapter is more focused on the trio forming. (*•̀ᴗ•́*)و ̑̑ Yeah, Taiki is thinking about Usagi's life instead of his own feelings, but that's what communication is for! (ノ≧∀≦)ノ So! I hope that this chapter was fine for all of you. My updates are sporadic and I'll try to update, but sometimes, I am unmotivated to write anything. (。-人-。) Sorry if you are waiting for updates for my other fanfics as well. (o_ _)o Anyways, happy reading and see ya whenever! |・ω・`)
