Disclaimers: This is a crossover between Sailor Moon and Digimon. I do not own these two shows. Sailor Moon is written by Naoko Takeuchi in manga form and aired as a series by Toei Animation and TV Asahi in Japan and by Kodansha Comics in North America. Digimon is produced by Toei Animation and Bandai of Japan that began in 1999.

"NANI," shouted everyone.

"What do you mean by soul bond," shouted Yamato.

Everyone fell back into wide eyes as Motoki confessed about Taichi, Usagi, and Taiki being in a soul bond with each other. They didn't know that soul mates were a thing in the Silver Millennium, but here they were, talking about soul mates and soul bonds. Taichi and Taiki looked at each other in the eye before shaking their head mentally. They didn't feel a romance between the two, just a friendship that may turn into bromance if the moment shows up. They only felt romance as they looked at Usagi who was looking at the two with love in her eyes. All three, however, turned back to the discussion when someone coughed to get their attention. "Are you three done with the lovey-dovey looks," questioned Ruki with a smirk on her face.

"I think they get it, Ruki," said Jenrya who had a done look on his face.

"So, soul bond," said Takeru imploringly.

"Yeah," said Motoki with a sigh, "A Soul Bond is the truest form of love that is made by finding ones' soul mate. It is said that with the Soul Bond, those in it can feel each other's emotions, like happy and love."

"I am sensing a demo somewhere," said Ken.

"Hai," said Motoki, "The people in question can feel the positive emotions, but they can also feel the negative ones, like pain. If one person gets hurt, the other person or persons can feel it too."

"So, if one dies," said a horror filled Mimi.

"Then, that person or persons will also… um," said Motoki who couldn't even finish the sentence.

Everyone winced as they heard the ending to THAT explanation. Taichi, Taiki, and Usagi also paled as they heard about what would happen if one of them died. They were not looking forward to the final battle, especially Usagi. All of them knew that a final battle would happen, but they never know WHEN it would come up. Usagi, on her part, was being comforted by Taichi and Taiki on either side of her, for they saw how she paled when Motoki explained about the soul mate bond. Yamato cleared his throat as he thought about the implications. "So, I guess we have to protect our friends," said Yamato.

"I'm sure that minor pain, such as soccer practices, won't affect them," said Motoki, "However, with dark magic, anything can happen."

"Got it," said Izzy, "We certainly can't coddle them."

"Yeah," said Taichi, "Please don't. I know that we are all going to be afraid about what is going to happen, but have a little courage and hope that everything will work out fine."

"Hai," said Taiki, "Please and thank you."

"True," said Sora, "They still have lives to live, ne?"

The other Digidestined nodded their heads. Of course, they knew that they can't really protect the three from certain doom, but at least, they can TRY to minimize the pain somewhat if they can. They knew that living their lives to the fullest is what ANYONE would want. Being seen as if they were made out of glass will not stop them from actually doing their jobs in protecting the Digital Worlds and the Real World. Motoki, Naru, and Hotaru also knew that when pushed come to shove, Usagi will always go up against the baddy and not think about the outcome of her life. That is just the way she is: selfless and kind. "True," said Takuya before turning to Motoki, "Anyways, Motoki? Do you have anything else to tell us?"

"Uh," hesitated Motoki , "Well…"

"That's a yes," muttered Kōji.

"Shh," shushed Kōichi as he was trying to hear what Motoki would tell them next.

"It wasn't known to the protectors of the past," said Motoki, a hesitantly tone still in his voice, "Demo, every Senshi and Knight actually CAN develop a soul bond as well?"

"E-E-EH," shouted everyone.

Everyone looked at Motoki in shock once more. For once, they could feel how Taichi, Taiki, and Usagi felt when they learned about them forming a soul bond. They winced just thinking about having dark magic attacking them while unknowingly getting their soul mate hurt as well. No matter if they all were fighting as Senshi, they didn't want their unknown soul mate to feel what they were feeling, especially the pain. Everyone, besides Akari and Zenjirou, shuddered just thinking about accidentally forming a soul mate bond with their soul mate without them AND their chosen one knowing about it. "You have got to be kidding me," said a shaken Hikari.

"Same here," said Ruki, "I rather be frozen by IceDevimon than get a soul bond."

"Just HOW many Devimons are out there," grumbled Takeru out loud, Patamon patting Takeru's head in comfort.

"Uh," said a thoughtful SaberLeomon, "I know there's the Ultimate level MarineDevimon…"

"There's also the IceDevimon Ruki said," said Terriermon.

"My Perfect form, LadyDevimon," piped up BlackTailmon.

"The child form, PicoDevimon," said a thinking BlackGabumon.

Takeru looked a bit ill on what he asked, but he did ask how many subspecies were there that derived from the name Devimon. Yamato just patted Takeru on the back because he knew Takeru has bad memories with their own Devimon. He was surprised that there were other types of Devimon as well. It wasn't until Yamato blanched when Taichi recalled Taiki talking about a NeoVamdemon, a Digimon being a subtype to their own Vamdemon enemy, and kidnapping Usagi within the Xros' Digital World. That brought back loud shouts as Tailmon was complaining about ANOTHER type of Vamdemons being used in the Digital World. Yet, before they could comment about different subtypes on their enemies, Yamato came back to what just Taichi said. "What do you MEAN imōto was kidnapped by a vampire reject," shouted Yamato.

"Oh boy," grimaced Taiki and Usagi together.

Well, at least everyone has semi-forgotten about the soul bond between Taichi, Taiki, and Usagi being formed by all these subtypes being brought up by their Digimon partners.

- A Few Weeks Later –

"Is that," questioned Kōichi.

"It is," said a very worried Hotaru.

More and more Digimon and Youma attacks happened, but it didn't stop the Digidestined AND the Senshi in fighting side-by-side. Now, it was another Digimon attack, yet no Youma to report… just yet. Standing in front of Kōji, Kōichi, and Hotaru was the first Digimon that Takuya explained to them before they met up with the rest of the Spirit Digidestined, a Ceberumon. Hotaru was quick to contact EVERYONE about what was happening within Shibuya Park. With everyone informed, Hotaru, Kōji, and Kōichi quickly Spirit evolve into Wisemon, Wolfmon, and Löwemon respectfully. They, however, didn't account for Masaru to come charging in the way he did and almost take out Wolfmon with a single punch. "Masaru," shouted Naru, "That's Kōji! Not the evil Digimon!"

"Uh," said Masaru who faltered in his steps, "Gomen."

"Not forgiven," growled out Kōji.

"Why is Masaru here," questioned Hotaru.

"He followed me here," said Naru with a frown, "He heard my communicator."

"Ah," said Kōichi, "It's not your fault that your onīsan is unbearable."

"Hey," shouted Masaru who was a bit offended.

Before Kōichi said his apologies to Masaru, he was quick to be hit by Hellfire, courtesy of a very angry Ceberumon. Hotaru and Kōji shouted his name, Naru quickly sending out her Cutemon to heal Kōichi. Masaru growled at the Ceberumon as was about to punch the darn Digimon once more until a combination of thunder and ice hit Ceberumon. Everyone blinked at the combination before turning to see four figures rushing into the fray. Takuya, as Agnimon, sent out Crimson Knuckle (Pyro Tornado) at Ceberumon, which was followed by Izumi, as Fairimon, with her Tornado Gamba (Tempest Twist). "How's Kōichi," questioned Junpei as Blitzmon.

"Cutemon has it handled," said Naru.

"How did Kōichi even get distracted," questioned Tomoki as Chackmon.

"Blame Masaru-nī who rushed into a battle… again," said Naru in exasperation.

"Yeah," said Masaru sheepishly, "That's my bad."

Hotaru was about to comment how dangerous that was, but she knew that the Savers had different ways in combating their Digimon. It was just that how can Masaru have the power to just PUNCH a Digimon and NOT get hurt? He just punches and forms his energy into his hand before he can digivolve his Agumon. That's not normal, is it? Before Hotaru could contemplate more on how the Savers did things, she, along with everyone present watched as Ceberumon digivolved once more. They watched in surprise when Ceberumon came out as… "Plutomon," shouted the now digivolved Ceberumon.

"Oh, this is NOT going to give me nightmares," said Hotaru sarcastically.

"Does this mean Digimon can transform into planetary ones," questioned Naru with horror.

"Hahaha," sounded out an annoying female laughter.

"Who," questioned Junpei.

"Who would thought a Digimon can have the same name as Sailor Pluto," questioned a female voice, "Especially when that particular annoying Senshi made it hard to even come to this pesky time."

"Dare (Who)," shouted Takuya.

There, in front of the huge Plutomon, was a dark portal that appeared. The Digidestined-turned-Senshi who knew what that portal equated to stared at each other in grimaced. They were sure that the others were about to come as well as this was now an all-hands-on-deck situation. They weren't surprised to actually see an enemy come out of the portal, but they were surprised on the enemy being human-like than an actual Youma monster. She had light green hair and light brown eyes and was wearing a short sleeveless black dress with matching gloves and boots. The surprising thing was the black upside-down black crescent moon on her forehead. Everyone turned when they heard a surprised gasped behind them, indicating everyone else came in either Digidestined or Senshi form. "Esmeraude," shouted Usagi as Sailor Moon.

"Moon Brat," said Esmeraude with a glare.

"H-How are you here," questioned Usagi in shock.

"Oh, Queen Metalia sends her regards," said Esmeraude, "After my utter humiliation at the hands of you, Queen Metalia found my energy and revived me. I am now all powerful AND beautiful!"

"Beautiful," questioned Daisuke as Kyōi Knight, "I don't see it."

"Shut up, Kyōi," muttered Ken as Ninjō Knight.

"Demo," started Daisuke who was interrupted by Esmeraude's annoying laughter.

"Of course I am all beautiful," said Esmeraude, "And with new powers, I can finally crush you all! turns to the Digimon Plutomon! Attack!"

"Haggard Cluster," called out Plutomon.

"Scatter," shouted Taiki.

As everyone ran out of the attack's way, everyone's eyes widen when they saw the abandoned building behind the park just disintegrate by fangs of all things. Their eyes grew even wider as they saw Esmeraude take out a crown and put it on her head. There, in front of their eyes, Esmeraude turned into an emerald green DRAGON of all things, her red mane cackling with black energy. All of them were very wary about the newest enemy as they stared at BOTH evil dragon and Digimon alike. "Now, it is the time to panic," said Jō in a panic.

"Digivolve into Ultimate, guys," said Taichi.

"You too, Shoutmon," said Taiki.

"Is that even possible since our Digimon never digivolved into Ultimate," questioned a worried Sora.

"I think they have enough energy," said Naru determinedly, "Don't forget that you all have been giving your Digimon your planetary powers. That will help with their digivolution."

"Okay," said Takeru, "No time like the present, ne?"

"Planetary powers," questioned Masaru in confusion before… "Wait a minute! What do you mean by?!"

Masaru was interrupted when all of the Ōdaiba's Digimon digivolved into their Ultimate forms. The Ōdaiba Digidestined stared at their Digimon in awe before their partners actually ran towards Plutomon to defeat him. Seeing that the Spirit Warriors and Shoutmon as Shoutmon 7 were helping their partners, everyone else then turned towards the giant evil dragon and the Senshi. They could tell that Usagi was clenching her scepter as she stared down something from her past. Taichi really wanted to help Usagi out, but with Masaru and the other Spirit Warriors that were in the unknown, Taichi couldn't henshin as Chōsen to help with this battle. He could also tell that Taiki was feeling the same as him as they saw their Usagi and the others fight the dragon. "Solar Flare," called out Motoki.

"Hazardous Blaze," called out Takato.

"Sakura Mae," called out Ruki.

"Soul Blaster," called out Jenrya.

"Icy Shuriken," called out Ken.

"Golden Howl," called out Daisuke.

"Princess Halation," called out Usagi.

The attacks came out with a blaze of different colors as it connected to the dragon Esmeraude. Esmeraude sent out her own green flame that dissipated most of the attacks, but she also didn't account that there were more enemies than the seven that called out. Yuu, who was also transformed, got one hit into Esmeraude before another wave of attacks came from that of Digimon. Each Digimon partnered with a Senshi were hidden as they shot their own attacks at Esmeraude. One Digimon attack even got a hit near her crown, where the source of her powers were. However, no one accounted for Masaru rushing towards Esmeraude, his own Agumon already in the fray to hurt Plutomon with the other Digimon. "Masaru," questioned a shocked Naru.

"Īe, baka," shouted Hotaru as she dodged Plutomon, "Don't go near her!"

"I am not going to be weak and let others battle for me," said Masaru with conviction.

"Demo," said Kōichi, "You don't know her powers!"

"I can dodge, can't I," shouted back Masaru as he got his fists ready.

With a shout, Masaru jumped towards the dragon. Everyone really saw how Masaru was actually dodging the fires that Esmeraude was producing. Yet, the Senshi were also stuck in a bind as Masaru was now blocking them from using their attacks. They didn't want to harm Masaru, especially when he was a fellow Digidestined. But, how are they going to defeat Esmeraude when Masaru was in the way? It wasn't until everyone forgot that a dragon has a tail, and a changed Esmeraude wasn't exempt from one either. Usagi was the first to see this as she rushed quickly to push Masaru out of the way, Esmeraude's tail connecting to Usagi and slamming her into a building. "Sailor Moon," shouted the Senshi.

"Usa-chan," shouted Takuya.

"Usa-koi," shouted Taichi and Taiki before…

"Taichi," shouted Hikari.

"Taiki," shouted Yuu as Saido Knight.

"W-What's wrong with them," questioned a horror-filled Sora.

"T-This," said Motoki as Solar Knight, his voice in concern, "Is the work of the soul bond. When Usagi saved Masaru and took that hit, Taichi and Taiki felt it and are now injured as well."

Everyone watched in horror as Taichi and Taiki winced while the actual two teen boys looked at Usagi who was now unconscious, Masaru standing in front of Usagi with anger in his eyes. Masaru heard what the others said about Sailor Moon being Naru's friend Usagi, but he couldn't compartmentalize that information as he stared down the big evil dragon. He wasn't all that worried about Plutomon because he had faith that their Digimon would defeat the Ultimate sooner or later. However, he was surprised when Hotaru reverted back to human and ran towards the evil dragon, and to his horror, Naru followed Hotaru as well. He was even more surprised on what followed afterwards. "Esmeraude," growled out Hotaru who was glowing an eerie purple color.

"You have gone too far," said Naru who was glaring and glowing an eerie Earth green color.

"Oh," questioned Esmeraude, "What are two humans going to do about it? I have the power with Plutomon and this crown! I have power from Queen Metalia herself! No one can touch me!"

"Never say never, you evil vile," started Hotaru before… "Saturn Crystal Power!"

"Earth Crystal Power," called out Naru.

"Eh," questioned Masaru who was watching the proceedings.

"Make Up," shouted the both together.

"Oh," muttered Esmeraude interestingly.

"Protected by Saturn," said Hotaru, "The Planet of Silence. I am the Guardian of Ruin and Rebirth, Sailor Saturn."

"Protected by Earth," said Naru, "The Planet of Life. I am the Guardian of Protection, Sailor Earth."

"In the name of the Moon," said the two together, "You shall pay for what you did to our hime."

"E-E-EH," shouted Masaru in shock.

AN: Well, now Masaru is in the known. (￣ω￣;) Though, with HOW he found out, he's not going to get positive points with the overprotective family and friends. (^^;) I went this route with Masaru because he's really impulsive. He cares in his own way, don't get me wrong, but he DOES run head first to deal with a Digimon with just his fists. （￣～￣;）So! To get his character to grow just a bit more for my story, he has to see HOW his actions can really cause damage, such as Usagi now being injured and resulting Taichi and Taiki feeling that blow too. （＾～＾；） It's just how my story is heading.
