It is also responsible for the management and coordination of the Ministry's public-facing elements, facilitating smooth and effective engagement with the broader wizarding community.

OFFICE OF THE COMPTROLLER OF THE BRITISH MINISTRY OF MAGIC
The Lord Comptroller holds authoritative oversight over all financial operations and decision-making processes within the British Ministry of Magic. Supported by the Department of Ministerial Services, the Office of the Lord Comptroller receives essential administrative assistance to facilitate its functions effectively. Operating with impartiality and independence, the Lord Comptroller's primary accountability lies with the Wizengamot Council.
Appointed by the British Minister for Magic, the Lord Comptroller assumes office for a fixed term of seven years. Removal of the Lord Comptroller from office necessitates a majority vote by the esteemed members of the Wizengamot Council.

- Senior Officials: The Comptroller, appointed by the British Minister for Magic, leads the office. Deputy Comptrollers assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations and may lead specific divisions within the office.
Personnel: The office employs Treasurers, Tax Assessors, Account Managers, Case Managers, and Exchequer Assistants, who collaborate across divisions to ensure the effective management of the Ministry's finances.
OFFICE OF THE LORD ADVOCATE OF THE BRITISH MINISTRY OF MAGIC
The Lord Advocate is the chief law officer within the British Ministry, serving as the principal public prosecutor responsible for all prosecutions conducted by this office. Additionally, the Lord Advocate serves as the Ministry's top legal advisor, representing it in legal matters and providing counsel to various departments. Assisted in each section by a Chief Advocate, the Lord Advocate ensures legal integrity and coherence across the Ministry's operations.
Appointed by the British Minister for Magic for a term of seven years, the Lord Advocate upholds a tradition of impartiality, free from any political affiliations or biases. - Chief Advocate – Muggle Law Division – Specializes in magical interactions with the Muggle world, including the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy.
- Chief Advocate – International Magical Law Division – Manages legal affairs related to international magical cooperation, treaties, and agreements works closely with DIMC.
- Chief Advocate – Magical Creatures Law Division – Focuses on laws governing magical creatures, their rights, and their interactions with wizards and witches. Works closely with DMCE.
- Personnel: The office is staffed with a range of legal professionals, including Barristers, Legal Advisors, Historians, Clerks, Magistrates, and Staff Secretaries. They collaborate across divisions to provide legal support and guidance to the Ministry of Magic.
BRITISH MINISTRY SECURITY SERVICE
The British Ministry Security Service is responsible for all security operations of the British Ministry of Magic and all its offices, locations and areas. The Service is led by the Undersecretary for British Ministry Security Service who is appointed by the Director of the Department of Ministerial Services.
Structure
- Ministry Security Office: Responsible for overall security management, including the development and implementation of security protocols, access control, and surveillance.
- Ministry HQ Enchantment Taskforce: Specializes in the enchantment of Ministry headquarters and facilities to enhance security measures, including protective spells, magical barriers, and wards.
- Ministry Reception Office: Manages the reception and screening of visitors, ensuring that only authorized individuals gain access to Ministry premises.
- Magical Threat Analysis Office: Analyzes potential threats to the Ministry, conducts risk assessments, and develops strategies to mitigate security risks.
- Personnel: The service employs Arithmancers, Warders, Cursebreakers, Guards, and Security Officers who work together to maintain the security of the Ministry.
OFFICE FOR PUBLIC INFORMATION SERVICES
The Office for Public Information Services (OPIS) is the Ministry's hub for transparent and engaging communication. Through press releases, publications, and information desks, OPIS ensures the wizarding community stays informed and connected with the Ministry's activities and initiatives. Trusted for its accuracy and accessibility, OPIS is the go-to source for all things Ministry-related.
The Undersecretary for the Office for Public Information Services oversees the division and is appointed by the Director of the Department of Ministerial Services.
Structure:
- Media & Public Affairs Division: Manages media relations, press releases, and public statements on behalf of the Ministry. Handles interactions with the wizarding press and ensures accurate and timely communication with the public.
- British Ministry Publications Division: Produces official publications, pamphlets, and informational materials for distribution to the wizarding community. Ensures that Ministry information is accessible and comprehensible to all members of the wizarding public.
- OPIS Information Desks Division: Operates information desks within the Ministry and other locations frequented by wizards and witches. Provides assistance, answers inquiries, and distributes informational materials to visitors and the general public.
