BGM: Kronos Island - 3rd Mvt (Sonic Frontiers)

"So… let me see if we have the full picture here." Nero said as he paced around while Nico and Jade were busy fixing the van, the latter chipping in after making sure Futaba was alright. "You guys flew on over here to find the Chaos Emeralds and Eggman, but you were sucked into some void and found yourselves in a digital realm, but were able to bust out."

"Yeah." Weiss nodded. "The four of us formed WSSP and then once we found an Emerald, Futaba, Jade, Iris and Rantaro busted out by Futaba's hacking skills."

"Come on, what sounds more epic? Jail break by portal or by hacking your way out?" Futaba smiled, having a self made ice pack on her head.

"And then you broke these four out, but they're currently in some kind of digital limbo-" Nero motioned his head to Masaru, Mine, Yang and Amy. "And on top of that, not only are you finding digital areas that you've been to, but you're coming across enemies that you've encountered based on all of your memories… and this weird girl summoned a giant ass monster that knocked Futaba into next week?"

"That's pretty much the low down, yes." Yang nodded.

"Sheesh, sounds like a typical Tuesday for y'all." Nero chuckled.

"Oh yes, I definitely like being trapped in digital hell and like watching the Winter Maiden get slapped around every Tuesday." Mine rolled her eyes.

Nero laughed. "Well, glad we came over… because now we get to kick some ass with you."

"Well, the more the merrier." Sonic chuckled.

"Did you… let Kyoko know by any chance that you left without them?" Weiss asked.

"Nope." Nico said. "As we said, thought we'd get a head start."

Penny blinked. "Sooo… you ditched the B team."

"Naaaah, we didn't ditch them. We just wanted to be fashionably late a bit early." Nero said.

"That doesn't make sense!" Weiss said before letting out a groan. "Wonderful…"

"I'm sure they have a Plan B and are currently making their way over here." Masaru said.

"Wouldn't it plan C? Plan B was a B team and only a sliver of them showed up." Mine pointed out.

"Plan A point five." Nico said.

"...What?"

"Oh good gravy…" Futaba shook her head. "Well, we might as well look around the island." She said, proceeding to hook Nero and Nico up as they looked at their phones.

"Fast travel. Neat." Nero chuckled.

"Now then, let's split up and-"

"Well now… this is unexpected." A voice said as they turned to see a tall statue of some kind approaching them.

"Oh great, now what?" Sonic wondered.

"It is nice to meet you all. Sonic the Hedgehog, Weiss Schnee, Penny and SAPR Pollendina, Jade Gadd, Futaba Sakura, Iris Icaria, Rantaro Amami, Amy Rose, Yang Xiao Long, Mine Strauss, Masaru Winchester… and others."

"Others?" Nero raised an eyebrow. "What, did you run out of breath?"

"How do you know us?" Yang asked, squaring up for a fight… only to remember she wasn't fully there. "Okay, someone who's not in digital hell… someone punch him for me if he steps out of line."

The statue chuckled. "Do not worry, I do not mean any harm. Most of you have touched the Digital Dream. Unlike most, I know how to listen to it and hear some of the secrets. To hear it properly, though, I must keep it to myself. Call me a hermit if you like. It is the path that I have chosen."

"Sooo, quick question. Who are you… or what are you?" Iris wondered.

"I am but a humble Koco." He motioned his head as they would see smaller Koco running about. "This is our home."

"Wow!" Masaru knelt down and tried to pat one on the head. "They're cu-" His hand went through one. "...Right."

The Koco seemingly acknowledged the failed head pat and made some noises with a happy smile.

"Well, hey, it's the thought that counts." Masaru chuckled.

"I have something to give you all." The Hermit said as light blue and red seeds emerged and went inside them all. "These are the Seeds of Power and Defense. They will make you stronger and can take a few more hits. If you ever need to get stronger, come find me… I have plentiful."

"Well hey, that's good to know!" Futaba said. "...Though I have a few concerns."

"What's that?"

Futaba pointed to Nero. "Did you really need to buff him up? Dude's already ridiculously strong as is!"

"You say that like it's a bad thing."

"Now now, I'm sure he will use it well." The Hermit chuckled. "Now then! Weiss, I will need you to come with me."

"What for?"

"My sibling wishes to speak with you… it currently involves a certain power you have."

Weiss's eyes widened. "What?" She wondered as he wandered off with Weiss accompanying him.

"I think I should go with them. I'll be back." Mine said as she ran off with them.

"Hey, wait up!" Yang ran off as well.

"Well… I guess for the rest of us, we're just gonna have to explore the island and try to find the rest of our friends." Sonic said.

"I totally agree with you there." Futaba rolled her shoulders and conjured up some ice glasses, complete with translucent ice lenses and put them over her eyes.

They all split up as Sonic prepared to start running but noticed Amy was communicating with a Koco. "Hmm? Hey Amy, who's your friend?"

The Koco started speaking unintelligible gibberish.

"This Koco says they need to find their one true love before it's too late. They've been too shy to express their feelings, but if they don't do it now, they may never get the chance."

Sonic raised an eyebrow. "...You… got all that, huh?"

Amy looked at him weirdly. "What? We can all understand the "beeps, boops and bops" from ROB, BB-8 and Game and Watch yet this is the one that's weird to you?"

"I mean… this little guy's different compared to their computerized language. Or whatever Game and Watch speaks in his Flat Zonian tongue of his… if you can call it that."

Amy rubbed her chin. "Good point! If anything, I feel as if the dimension that I'm in is translating for me. It's strange, but it feels natural."

"Hmm… you think Yang, Masaru and Mine might understand them too?"

"Possibly."

"Hmm… you think you can locate Futaba and see if she can't use her Technomagic to see if she can't translate for us?"

"I'm not sure if that might not be possible for her."

"She hacked into one of the portals that required a Portal Gear for us to get through. We walked into it without needing one. I'm pretty sure deciphering language wouldn't be much of an ask."

"Fair enough. I'll see if we'll run into her at some point." Amy said as she took off running with the Koco.

"Alright… time to look into that tower." Sonic said as he started running, only to get side tracked by Eggman's tech. "Eggman's tech… looks abandoned, but better keep on my toes." He said as he took a look around, including underneath as he did a Cyloop underneath, thinking it'd open up a way inside.

Instead it simply produced rings.

"Eh, that'll do." He said, picking up the rings as he ran off and saw another Asura Guardian. He smirked. "Alright, round two? Let's go-"

Suddenly, the Asura's three arms exploded, causing it to break apart as Rantaro, SAPR and Iris landed on the ground.

"Mission accomplished." SAPR said and then turned to Sonic. "Oh hi, Sonic~!"

"Hey." Sonic chuckled as he took off running again, soon getting closer to the tower as he found an hourglass nearby. He kicked it as it flipped over and noticed a red light coming from the top. He then noticed he had fifty seconds.

"Fifty seconds? Pffft!" Sonic cracked his knuckles as he ran ahead, running into a spring and launched him into the air where he homing attacked a few balloons that bounced him high up to a platform and ran up, proceeding to jump on a railing and boosted his way up until a spring launched him off and into a wall where he promptly ran up and stuck the landing as he landed on the switch at the top, which opened up more of the map for everyone.

"Heh." Sonic dusted his hands off. "Heck of a view if I say so myself." He said as he looked off to see the Titan sitting on a cliff wall looking down at the land. He punched the ground to create rock spires to shoot up from the ground.

"Tch… manipulating the land. That's gonna be a roadblock." He said as he turned around… only to see the same girl that sicced the Titan on them. "Ah… yo! Don't you think the Titan was kinda overkill?"

"You are an enemy to be eliminated, and you are powerless compared to its might. Your friend with the ice powers was no match for it."

"Well, clearly, whatever that is definitely has some anti-Maiden defense mojo going on." Sonic said. "As for me… well, I bet I can handle it as Super Sonic. All I need are the Chaos Emeralds."

"Doubtful. In any scenario, the end results will not change. Additionally, what you seek is in its presence. You've lost the battle before it has even begun."

"Right… I'll let the Maiden know about that. The thing with Futaba is that she's a massive problem solver. Give her something to do and she'll crack the code before you can even blink. Plus, she's a gamer… and if you spite them, well… good luck winning. Definitely learned that the hard way playing against her and Chiaki in Mario Kart. Ya throw one Blue Shell and you're getting double teamed with Red Shells and Bob-ombs."

"Your Maiden friend… you speak highly of her. However, I still remain doubtful that she can defeat it."

"Ah, well, she's a quick learner. Definitely not gonna make the same mistake as she did last time." Sonic smirked. "She's probably going to make that thing her lunch if she wanted to… heck, I've heard she's got some other magic under her belt."

"I feel as if you're over-exaggerating."

Sonic chuckled. "Just don't mess with Futaba. She's a lot more confident than she looks."

With Futaba…

"I don't know why, but I feel as if my confidence just gained a boost." Futaba mumbled under her breath.

"It's incredible…" Jade said as she was looking at some rock formations that the Titan had made. "I know it's trying to slow our progress, but I gotta say… some of these formations are well made."

Futaba looked on. "Yeah, a bit creative if you ask me. Though most of these rock formations look like the whole Metroid family."

"How did it go again? I always get a bit mixed up between Larval, Omega and Queen." Jade sheepishly admitted.

Futaba giggled. "Don't worry, I sometimes mix it up too." She reassured her. "But it goes Larval, Alpha, Gamma, Zeta, Omega and sometimes Queen."

"Right."

Futaba rubbed her chin in thought. "But why would it make stones out of the whole Metroid line…?"

With Weiss…

Weiss approached the Elder Koco as Yang and Mine were alongside her. "Are you the Elder?"

"Yes." The Elder nodded. "I have something that you might like… but at the same time, you might not like it as well."

"What is it?"

The Elder stepped out of the way, revealing an electrical cybernetic portal in front of them, but it wasn't the typical stone statue ruinous portal they were used to.

"Step inside…" He said as Weiss calmly walked in, as Yang and Mine found themselves glowing before they were sucked into the portal with her.

Pause BGM

Inside…

Weiss found herself in a dark void, and then she saw bright lights appearing near her as Yang and Mine appeared with her, but completely whole.

"Okay, this does not make sense." Mine said. "But I think I can handle it."

"Alright, what do we got?" Yang wondered, squaring up as the trio walked through until a bright line surrounded her as the trio found themselves in the Sealed Grounds.

"The Sealed Grounds?" Mine wondered as they saw something in the middle as darkness was pouring out of it. She immediately readied Pumpkin while Weiss slowly approached the middle.

She felt as if the darkness was calling to her. She stepped inside and reached down.

"Weiss, I'd be careful! There's something about that that I don't like." Yang said.

"It feels… like it's inviting me though." Weiss said as she touched it, when suddenly the three of them were taken into a blue void.

"...I know this spot. It's where we fought Demise." Mine said.

Weiss saw darkness spewing out in the distance as she approached… but pillars and ruins rose up as a jail cell blocked her way from approaching the darkness.

"Well well well! If it isn't the snow queen." A voice said as the trio turned to see data forming up on top of a pillar, revealing to be Ghirahim.

BGM: Lord Ghirahim's Theme (The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword)

"Ghirahim?!" Mine said in surprise.

"Futaba wasn't kidding about bosses…" Weiss muttered under her breath.

"Such a pleasure to see you again, my dear." Ghirahim said as he casually front flipped off of the pillar. "You really thought getting your Fierce Deity back would be so easy?"

"Oh please! It's three of us against you. This will be easy!" Yang said.

"That is what you think." A voice said, unrecognizable to Yang but far recognizable to Weiss and Mine. Both of their eyes widened as data formed into Demise.

"...Who the hell is-"

"DEMISE?!" Weiss and Mine yelled.

"THAT'S Demise?!" Yang said in surprise.

"Well, if this doesn't scream like a reunion, I don't know what will." Another said as data formed as they saw Adam materializing.

"Ugh. Just when I thought we were done with you." Yang rolled her eyes.

"What are you three doing here? Is Cyber Space just screwing with all of us or…?" Weiss wondered.

"Wait a minute…" Mine said as she shifted her eyes for each one. Ghirahim, Demise, Adam…?

"If you really think it's screwing with all of you, then you're definitely mistaken."

The fourth voice sounded like Weiss as it materialized in front of them.

Weiss's eyes widened. "...Meryl?"

"Who's Meryl? It's Dark Weiss, you idiot."

Ghirahim, Demise, Adam, and now Meryl back when she was evil… Mine thought as an idea formed in her head, her eyes widening.

"What the hell is going on here?" Yang demanded.

"Weiss… is this your repressed PTSD? Your repressed demons?" Mine asked.

Weiss clenched her fists, closing her eyes. "No… I've moved on… I swear I-"

"Oh, look at you resisting. It's outright adorable." Ghirahim mocked, snapping his fingers as daggers formed around him. "Just like you wished everything would happen to you just so dear ol' Ruby could catch a break. Or was it Blake? Or was it Yang after what happened at DK Isle? I've lost count, honestly!"

"Weiss…?" Yang looked at her in surprise. "You wished for that?"

"I'm surprised she hasn't said anything sooner to any of you. Well… like they say… secrets to the grave." Ghirahim said. "Ah, but soon, truth will slip out in one way or another."

Demise laughed. "You really think that you would get rid of us so easily?"

"It's beyond pathetic." Adam mocked.

"Honestly, I'd say we teach her a lesson." Dark Weiss said. "First we gotta get rid of the baggage."

Yang growled, immediately going into her Shin Form while Mine went into her Demon Soul. "Weiss… you're never alone on this." Yang said.

"She wished to fight her battles alone." Demise said.

"...I've heard this before with Ruby. I'm NOT going to let Weiss make the same mistake!" Yang declared, launching forward and slugging Demise in the face, only he simply brushed it over and suplexed Yang to the ground. "Nnngh!"

"Insect. I suppose I'll toy with you for a while." He said, throwing Yang away as he calmly approached her while pulling out his sword.

Adam got into position, readying his sword… only for Mine to tackle him. "I got Adam! You get the other two!"

Weiss readied Myrtenaster as Ghirahim snapped his fingers, where the whole area changed for her as they were at the Schnee Manor, finding themselves in the corner.

Ghirahim chuckled. "May I have this dance?"

BGM: Ghirahim Battle Theme (The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword)

Repressed Demons - Data Ghirahim and Data Dark Weiss

With a growl, Weiss immediately lunged forward and tried to skewer Ghirahim, but he casually blocked it with his fingers.

"Don't tell me that you've already forgotten~" Ghirahim said as he licked his lips sadistically as Dark Weiss launched massive fire balls to knock Weiss down. "Come on, at least show us Eiskonigen or your Orbitars!"

Weiss got up, growling as she clapped her hands together and tried to throw in some ice magic, but nothing came out.

"What's wrong? Don't tell me you're scared to throw a Kacrackle at us! …No… you just haven't found everything you've lost!" Ghirahim laughed as he teleported away as Dark Weiss snapped her fingers to create a fire ring to wrap around her, trapping her.

"Nnngh…!"

Ghirahim appeared behind Weiss, putting his hands on her shoulders. "You want to know what it's like to feel stabbed by your own weapon? Do you want to know what it feels to be a pincushion?"

He stuck out his tongue like a snake.

"I can assure you… you'll be beaten within an inch of your life!"

Ghirahim teleported away and then summoned his daggers, quickly firing and striking Weiss as she screamed. He let out a sadistic chuckle and lunged, proceeding to stab Weiss in the chest.

"You wished for the universe to turn its attention to you so Ruby wouldn't get hurt anymore! So Blake could feel at ease! So Yang wouldn't have to go through what she went through at DK Isle again! The universe granted your wish… and now you must answer to it!"

As he was saying this, Ghirahim kept stabbing Weiss repeatedly, all with sadistic glee.

The rings of fire disappeared as Weiss fell on her knees, panting. Dark Weiss approached her, her appearance changing that of Grimm Weiss as she knelt down and grabbed Weiss by the cheeks.

"...You never saved me."

"I wanted to…" Weiss's voice cracked.

"LIAR!" Grimm Weiss punted Weiss up the stairs and nearly smashing through the mural, only for it to be cracked.

Grimm Weiss approached her, turning back into Dark Weiss as she shoved her boot into Weiss's gut, grinding her foot against it.

"You think you're so great, thinking you're so powerful… but you're just a scared girl. You think just by being with friends and family, you think you can just ignore it! You're not powerful! You're just a pathetic weakling who gaslit herself into thinking she's all powerful! Quit living in your own delusion!"

Dark Weiss kicked her in the side, causing Weiss to gasp as she slowly rose.

"But I did get more powerful… more powerful than you… when you were stuck in this mansio-"

Dark Weiss shoved her sword into Weiss's gut, making her grunt with pained tears rolling down her cheeks.

"Stop pretending to be a hero. You're just a fraud who thinks she could carry everyone's burden on her shoulders."

She shoved her foot into Weiss, making the mural shatter as she nearly fell off, but she grabbed onto the ledge.

"Hanging on for dear life?" Ghirahim asked as he knelt down. "You're clinging to your own truths… your own denial. Such a shame. Hmhmhmhmhm~"

End BGM

"That is enough, you two." A voice said as Dark Weiss and Ghirahim stepped away as a new figure emerged, as Weiss saw a familiar face with her eyes widening.

"J-Jacques…?!"

Jacques knelt down. "You are an embarrassment to the SDC. An embarrassment to everyone. An embarrassment to yourself. To think I called you my own daughter once… but you're just a stain in everyone's lives."

BANG!

A bullet struck Weiss in the left hand.

"Agh!" She grunted as she looked behind her to see a sadistic Seryu aiming at her with a gleeful smile.

Jacques stood up. "It's time we fixed this embarrassment. Don't you think?"

He raised his leg… and shoved his boot into Weiss's face to shove her into a dark pool, pulling her underwater. Weiss opened her eyes as she tried to swim up, but dark hands grabbed a hold of her and pulled her down. Weiss struggled as she desperately tried to get away.

…But the more she was pulled down, the light slowly disappeared as she sank into the deepest depths of despair. She opened her mouth to try and scream, but air bubbles came out as her eyes started to get heavy before her eyes slowly closed.

"...Weiss…"

"Weiss!"

"Weiss, wake up!"

"WEISS!"

"Gah!" Weiss sat up, panting heavily as she found herself back on the island, seeing Yang and Mine with her, but back in their cybernetic selves again. "...Yang… Mine…? You're both alive…"

"Yeah… didn't exactly win against Demise, though." Yang admittedly. "Dude makes K. Rool feel squishy…"

"Adam pulled a fast one on me… not sure how he did it, but man, I'm gonna feel that for a while."

"But enough about that…" Yang said as she looked at Weiss with concern. "Weiss… are you… do you need to talk about something?"

Weiss said nothing, instead she looked away as she closed her eyes as she stood up… but found as if her legs weren't listening as she fell on her hands and knees.

"Weiss…?"

Weiss opened her eyes, tears swelling in her eyes as she started to sob uncontrollably as Yang instinctively wrapped her arms around Weiss, trapped in-between dimensions be damned. Mine hugged her as well.

"It's okay… just let it out…" Mine whispered as Weiss continued to cry with both girls hugging her.

Meanwhile… with Kyoko and Co…

"So, why exactly are we at the Smash Mansion?" Winter asked.

"Considering Nero and Nico left us, I want to keep my options open." Kyoko explained as they walked into the mansion.

"So who are you thinking of?" Byleth wondered.

"I was thinking of-" Kyoko looked up, seeing a Smash Match going on as she saw who was fighting against each other. "Perfect."

BGM: Main Theme - Star Fox 64 (Super Smash Bros Melee)

Inside the screen were Fox and Wolf going at it against each other in a Final Destination version of Corneria.

Fox ran forward and kicked Wolf, but he side stepped and grabbed Fox's ankle, throwing him to the side and fired his blaster, but Fox quickly ran around while shooting him with his blaster before jumping in the air and using Fire Fox, striking Wolf as he was knocked back.

Both of them got into position as they both used Fox Illusion and Wolf Flash, the latter getting above him and grabbed him by the head as he threw him down, but Fox got back up and delivered a flurry of kicks as Wolf got hit by a few while blocking the rest, then Wolf wrapped himself in energy and used Wolf Fire, but Fox jumped over and kicked him in the back, but Wolf smirked and sweep kicked Fox and threw him off stage, then used Wolf Flash to spike him down.

"Auuuugh!"

"GAME! Wolf… wins!"

"Heheheh, can't let you win, Star Fox." He said cockily.

The two fighters then walked out together, both of them sharing a fist bump while laughing lightly. "Good fight, Wolf."

"You too." He said with a smirk as he walked off.

Fox sighed, putting his hands on his hips. "Alright…"

"So-" Kyoko approached. "Are you and your fellow pilots stuck in a Groundhog Day loop? Chiaki's game selection would indicate that to me based on sales."

"I have no idea what you're talking about, but sometimes it feels that way." Fox responded.

"I thought so."

Fox chuckled. "So, what's up? You need me for something?" He looked to see Byleth and the others. "Seems like you got a team with you."

Kyoko nodded. "I was wondering if you and your team could do me a favor."

"Oh?"

"You think you can fly us to the Starfall Islands?"

Ibuki: Oooof... poor Weiss-chan.

Deadpool: That's a lot of demons she's holding...
