Kokoro swept the floor, humming to herself as she was keeping herself busy while Mabel petted Waddles' forehead, who was looking a whole lot better. "That's my Waddles…" Mabel giggled.
It had already been a whole day since everyone left to help Weiss out with finding Eggman, she couldn't help but feel anxious. Nobody bothered to check in after they got there? Not even a "Hey, how are you holding up" from Kotoko or a "Good night, babe" text from Masaru, let alone voice chatting?
Kokoro shook her head as she put the broom and dust pan away. If anything, there was probably not a very good signal at Mobius and they didn't realize it before it was too late. Kokoro smiled. Of course that'd probably be the case. In her mind, everyone was fine and were anxious to find a spot to let everyone know they're okay and probably just got caught up in something.
It also helped that Stan and Ford occasionally checked in on them to keep them company for a bit before leaving them, even Yor and Chelsea dropped by every once in a while, and of course, there's Yukina that often stuck by her side when she wasn't playing with Waddles.
Everything was going to be okay.
…And then her scroll went off.
"Hmm?" Kokoro turned to her scroll on the coffee table. It was probably her sister or mother calling her to see if she was okay.
She checked the caller ID and noticed that it was from Futaba. "...Futaba?" Kokoro wondered aloud, catching Mabel's attention.
"Hmm?" Mabel wondered as Kokoro answered it.
"Hello?"
"YES! Woo! Oracle strikes again~! Here."
"Physical screen sharing… neat."
Mabel perked up, realizing that that was Nagisa's voice while Kokoro had relief on her face.
"How are you holding up over there?"
One video call later…
BGM: Roxas - Re:Coded Version (Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMix)
Up at the rooftop terrace, Kokoro leaned against the wall, letting the wind gently brush through her hair. She slowly looked down toward the ground as she slowly started to reminisce about her time with the Warriors of Hope.
"Kotoko, what's going on here?" Kokoro demanded.
"Oooooh, nothiiiiing~" Kotoko giggled.
"Yeah, it's obviously something if you've blindfolded me!"
"Oh relax~" Kotoko snickered. "Okay, you can open 'em!"
Kokoro took off her blindfold… only to see a cake with "Welcome to the team" written on it. "Oh!"
"It was Masaru's idea." Kotoko said.
"Mine?! I'm pretty sure that it was specifically your idea!" Masaru said.
"I'm not the one who baked the cake though!"
"It was me." Jataro said.
Nagisa rolled his eyes with an "Oh brother" smile as Kotoko was playfully arguing with Masaru and Jataro. "I figured it'd be rather low key but miss "party animal" wanted to make a big deal out of it."
"Party anim- where'd that come from?"
Kokoro snickered before letting out a few giggles. "I love it."
"Awesome! We got some punch too! …It may or may not be spiked though." Kotoko said, earning an elbow from Nagisa. "Ooof! I'm totally kidding! I'd rather not earn Yor and Chelsea's wrath…"
"Good." Nagisa chuckled.
Kokoro sat down on the grass at Mushroom Hills together with Masaru. "You're right… there's a lot less light pollution over here compared to the park in Toad Town."
"Told ya." Kokoro giggled as they both looked at the stars together, with her leaning her head against her boyfriend's shoulder. Masaru smiled, gently kissing her head as they looked off toward the cosmos together.
She sighed sadly, recalling how the boys basically told her that everyone was trapped in Cyberspace with possibly no way out of it, and of course, Nagisa accidentally yelled at her.
A few tears streamed down her cheeks. "It should've been me… I should've been trapped in cyberspace with them… or… I wish I could just do something…"
Her Pokeballs opened up where her Plusle, Minun, Solrock and even Meloetta proceeded to gently hug her (or as much as a Solrock could) to comfort her, as even Yukina hopped on her lap once she was in a fetal position.
A few minutes of comfort passed as Kokoro stood up, wiping her tears as she walked in with her Pokemon and cat by her side.
"Hey, Kokoron!" Mabel spoke up as she walked over to her and gave her a hug.
"Thanks, Mabel…"
"I know just the thing to cheer you up~!"
"Hmm?"
Mabel put her fingers at the corners of Kokoro's lips and pushed them up. "Ta-dah~! That frown is upside down~!"
Kokoro giggled. "Okay… I needed that."

"There we go~!" Mabel smiled as she grasped her hands. "Listen, I know it's a bit tough that our friends are trapped in cyberspace, but I'm sure everyone is trying to figure out how to bust them out! And besides, even if we're here, we can just cheer them on and… hope they can get them out. We may be stuck here, but cheering them on might be productive. It'll encourage them to keep trying~!"
"...Yeah, you're right."
"So while your boyfriend, your best friend and Jataro are stuck there, we can feel relieved that they're alright, but just stuck in cybernetic limbo. It could be a whole lot worse in my opinion. So let's just cheer for them that they'll get out and we can hug 'em tightly when they get home!"
Kokoro smiled. "You're right."
"Oh, and one other thing…"
Knock knock knock!
"Come in~!" Mabel smiled as Yor and Chelsea walked in.
"Mom?! Chelsea?!" Kokoro said in surprise.
"I called them over to help cheer you up! …They came a lot faster than I had initially thought though."
"Never fear, mom to the rescue!" Yor smiled as she wrapped her arms around her daughter with Chelsea hugging as well.
"Oooh, I needed this…"
"Just tell us what you need, Kokoron… we'll be right here with you." Chelsea said.
Meanwhile…
Nagisa sighed, leaning his head against a palm tree in the shade. "You okay, man?" Dipper asked.
"I know how sensitive she can be as far as being yelled at is concerned. It just… brings her back to when her biological mother yelled at her all the time after her father passed. That scared look in her eyes…"
Nagisa pinched the bridge of his nose. "Dammit… I didn't mean to yell, I was just… so scared that she and Mabel could potentially end up stuck in cyberspace too. I know everyone's looking for ways to get them out, but… I didn't want the girls to be caught in the crossfire…"
"You panicked."
"I panicked…" Nagisa groaned. "I can take comfort in knowing that she's a very forgiving person, but… the fact that I yelled at her in my own panic because I was worried they'd probably both get stuck in cyberspace… I definitely owe her an apology… and a big hug on top of that."
Dipper patted him on the back. "There there…"
"Something bugging you?" A voice asked as they saw Silver approaching.
"Oh, hey Silver." Nagisa responded as Silver glanced over to see Futaba chatting with Sage, causing him to glare.
"What's she up to…"
"I don't think we have anything to worry. If anything, Futaba and that girl seem to be on good terms." Dipper said.
"Mmm…" Silver folded his arms. "I'm keeping my eye on her though."
He turned back to Nagisa. "Anyway, about my question?"
"Oh, right. We finally made contact to the outside world and we brought Kokoron and Mabel up to speed. Kokoron wanted to help out and was about to come help, but I stopped her… unfortunately, in my panic, I yelled at her."
"Kokoron… that's the ocelot girl, right?"
Both nodded.
Silver grimaced. "Yikes… probably ought to take her out for ice cream or something to cheer her up."
"If I know my twin, she's probably doing her antics to cheer her up." Dipper said.
"Wouldn't put it past her." Nagisa chuckled. "Hmm… an ice cream party sounds good."
"Now… speaking of the Future Foundation." Silver spoke up. "You were about to ask me something about it before we saved everyone?"
"Ah! Yes… I was wondering instead of heading back to your future, you could stay here and be a member of the fifteen branch."
"Really?" Silver raised an eyebrow. "What brought this up?"
"Well, you helped out defeating Eggman during his invasion and you wanted to stay a bit longer to keep an eye on him, and Kotoko thought you were really cool with your telekinesis, so… as we talked about it, we thought… why not have you join us?"
"Hmm…" Silver folded his arms. "Hmm… interesting… I'll have to think about that."
"Take all the time you need." Nagisa smiled.
Nearby…
"Incredible…" Sage mused. "So the stories that father had said are true. Though, I am curious as to why you decided to hack Remnant's entire network."
"I was bored. Thought I could see if I could hack into the network, see how it runs, throw in a few extra firewalls and then leave it alone after that. I requested help and your father came in to help, though his name at the time was SonicFan70-"
"SonicFan70?" Sage wondered. "I did not know he secretly liked the hedgehog… let alone having seventy alternative accounts."
Futaba snickered. "Yeah, he's… an oddball, to say the least. Sure, am I still pissed that I was duped and was nearly killed by a possessed Atlesian general? Yes. Do I still respect the hell out of him? Yeah… I don't hold anything against him… okay, maybe I'm still a little mad that I was pressured to become the next Winter Maiden with the Death Egg looming over us. Seriously, couldn't he have like… had the time limit be three days so I could have relaxed a bit while trying to learn the ways of the Winter Maiden?"
"I understand your frustration… though that does beg the question. When Atlas gets rebuilt, will you have to live in Atlas to protect it?"
"...Oh. I never thought of it like that. Shoot, I guess I'll have to. Augh… living in a tundra twenty four seven doesn't sound like my cup of tea. Of course, maybe if they pushed Atlas away from the arctic…"
Futaba shook her head. "I'll worry about it if they ask me to do it. Although, honestly, they got Esdeath. Lady's a one woman army. I'm sure they'll be fine."
"Perhaps." Sage nodded. "I… also would like to apologize for siccing the Wyvern on you. I didn't realize you were within the general vicinity."
"Oh that? Eh, it's no big deal. I've been through worse."
Sage formed a small smile. "Clearly."
She then turned away. "I'll make sure the Titans don't attack you… I hope I can get that under control. See you later… Futaba."
Sage disappeared.
"See ya, Sage." Futaba smiled. "Nice girl once you get to know her."
Futaba then cracked her knuckles. "Alright, let's see if I can't connect to the Pollendina residence."
At that moment, her phone vibrated. "Hmm?" She wondered as she pulled it out, seeing a text from Chiaki.
"Okay, nothing too fancy. It was a waste of time like always. Bunch of updates to the mobile games like the Legendary Beasts are coming to Pokemon Sleep and there's even a new mobile TCG Gacha."
Futaba raised an eyebrow and texted back.
"I had a feeling…"
"Oh, but it did pick up toward the end. Pokemon Legends Z-A!"
"HUH?!" Futaba said in surprise.
"No Johto or Unova remakes…? Wait, so what was all the love toward Johto and Unova in the ScarVio DLC then?"
"Beats me. But a Kalos Legends game sounds fun. Plus, they're bringing back Mega Evolution soooo… fingers crossed for Mega Flygon!"
"Hope so."
Futaba put her phone away. "Alright… now where was I? …Oh yeah!"
Meanwhile…
"Alright, that should do it… aaaand we're good!" Weiss pulled the Blue Chaos Emerald away from the vault.
"Sweet, we got one!" Blake smiled.
"Yeah!" Weiss nodded, both of them high fiving… only for Blake's hand to go through her arm.
"Oh. Duh…" Blake sweatdropped. "I forgot I'm static again."
"Try again?"
"Sure."
Both of them stopped midway through the high five, their hands "touching".
"That's better!" Weiss smiled.
"Come on, I'm sure we'll find some more soon." Blake said as they took off together.
Meanwhile…
BGM: Cyber Space 2-2: Heavenly Sky (Sonic Frontiers)
"This is based on your memories, right?" K1-B0 wondered.
"Yes." Penny nodded.
"Did any of you have any cotton candy platforms as a memory?"
"Um… good question!" SAPR said.
They were jumping on cotton candy platforms with some Goombas in a sticky syrupy situation at the bottom.
"I think this is based on that one galaxy… Sweet Sweet, I think."
"Oh! Yeah, I can see it." SAPR said.
I don't get it. K1-B0 thought as they hopped on some cookie wafers before jumping on a chocolatey slide where they both slid down… and then they heard a giant thud behind them as they turned to see a giant cookie munching down on the slide.
"Pac-Man…?" Penny wondered.
"Pac… Cookie?" SAPR shrugged as they picked up the pace as they jumped off some speed panels and landed in a pool of syrup with the giant Pac-Man cookie monster falling into the abyss as they climbed out where they would see the portal in front of them, where they hopped on some cherry platforms and then on some cookie wafers where they climbed up some licorice ladders before diving off and landing in the portal to collect the Vault Keys.

Back with Weiss…
Weiss stared at a dark portal in front of her that Yang had called her over for. "...Crap. Do I have to do this…"
"Hopefully it won't be as bad as last time." Yang shrugged.
"Aaaand you jinxed it." Mine said.
"So what's going on here? Weiss faced her demons in this portal or something?" Meryl asked as she was also called over along with Byleth and Dorothea.
"All at once." Mine responded.
"Yikes…" Blake grimaced.
"Oh my…" Meryl grimaced as well right as Sonic came running over.
"I got the message, what's up?" Sonic asked as he noticed the dark portal. "Oooh… you sure you want to go through with it?"
"Yeah…"
"Alright. Let's head on in." He said as they walked in together, right after Weiss took a deep breath.
The group found themselves at the SDC Mansion.
"Is this what your home looked like?" Dorothea wondered as she looked around. "Fancy!"
"Incredible…" Byleth said with Sonic whistling.
"It was more of a prison, honestly…" Weiss mumbled.
"Wait… I'm whole again?" Meryl looked at herself.
"Yeah, these islands are confusing as hell." Mine said.
"Come to confess your sins?" A voice asked as they looked up to see Dark Weiss casually sitting on a knight statue.
BGM: Organization XIII (Kingdom Hearts II)
"Huh…?" Meryl wondered. "Weiss… why am I part of your PTSD?"
Weiss said nothing, looking away in shame as Yang put a hand on her shoulder.
"Hahahaha! Can't stand to look at me?" Dark Weiss laughed. "Am I too scary for you?"
She hopped off, brandishing her weapon. "I'd say we-"
She immediately spotted Meryl, her eyes widening. "You're… me…? Oh my gosh, you're me!"
Immediately, Dark Weiss lunged and grabbed a hold of Meryl's hands, pulling her away with sparkles in her eyes. "Can we be best friends?! We can team up and kill Weiss together!"
"Huh?!" Meryl said in surprise.
"Think about it… the two of us can team up and destroy that worthless piece of garbage! We'll be unstoppable! She's the fakest Weiss to ever exist! We're the real ones!"
"...Oh my gosh, I totally get it now." Meryl grimaced. Weiss, I am so sorry I acted like this…
"Come on, what do you say? Team up?"
"Yeeeeeeah… no. I'm siding with my sister."
"...Your… sister…? Your… sister? YOUR… SISTER?!"
Immediately, dark flames surrounded the group as she shoved Meryl into the statue. "Mmmph!"
"I cannot BELIEVE you would go AWOL on me! You and I are the same! WE should team up against this good for nothing fake trash!"
"Tell me I wasn't this delusion-"
"NO BACK TALK!" Dark Weiss yelled. "I've got fire and I WILL use it to burn you!"
Meryl turned around in amusement. "You mean… using fire on a phoenix?"
She immediately ignited her whole body, singing Dark Weiss's hands. "Agh!" She yelped as she jumped back as Meryl extinguished herself.
"You used your own fire to burn me?! You could've killed me, dark! …Or should I say "traitor"?"
"Like I would betray my own sister!"
"Heh… hahahaha… AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
"...Oh gods, was my evil laugh always this grating?"
"Fine then! I'll burn every single one of you and then I'll be the true Weiss!"
"And I thought Dark Ruby was bad…" Sonic said.
"Trust me, our dark clones thought they were the real deal." Yang shook her head.
"Glad I didn't have one." Mine said.
"We'll put a stop to this… together." Byleth said, readying her sword.
"You really think she's alone?" A voice asked as they saw Seryu approaching.
"Seryu?!" Meryl said in surprise, then noticed her arms. "Wait a minute… your arms aren't made of metal."
"Why would they?" Seryu chuckled, putting her hand on the knight and using the metal to warp around her to cover her entire body in armor.
"Her whole body…" Blake whispered. "Is this what it'd be like if Seryu wasn't holding back…?"
"You want to know what's more shocking?"
At that moment, they heard footsteps to see Grimm Weiss approaching. "What's shocking is that there's four of us."
Meryl's eye twitched. "So it's true… Dark Ruby did make a Grimm copy of me. I've heard that she's done it but to see it for myself…"
A deep growl escaped her lips. "Note to self… visit the Underworld and drop a bowling ball with an anvil attached to it on Dark Ruby's head."
"Wait, you drop bowling balls on Dark Ruby's head?" Yang asked.
"Yes."
"...Okay, I want in on that."
"Yang, come on… you're better than-..." Byleth paused for a moment. "...Actually, she killed Ruby for a moment. I… wouldn't be opposed to dropping one on her myself."
"Wonder if they have some really heavy ones…" Dorothea mused.
"Bowling balls? You sure you're the good guys?" Grimm Weiss rolled her eyes. "Come on, Dark. Let's combine ourselves so we can kill them all."
"Yes, let's~" Dark Weiss smirked, both of them grasping each other's hands before they started glowing, transforming into a huge beast.

BGM: The Dread of Night (Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance)
The beast in question was a Grimm Behemoth. The head had a giant skull resembling a bird. At the center of it had Dark Weiss wearing a demonic armor version of Meryl's Phoenix armor, while she was also fused to the Behemoth. Her arms have transformed into two lances where the sharp ends resembled the mouths of two phoenixes. Her face resembled a black flamed Phoenix with glowing eyes. Her beak was filled with teeth that are on fire as her bird wings were covered in spikes.
"Mmmph…!" Meryl paled at the Behemoth, flashing back to when she was eaten alive by the Shroobehemoth.
She let out a whimper, slowly backing away. "Oh gods no, not again…!"
At that moment, a hand grasped hers as she looked down to see it was belonging to her sister. "I got you." Weiss said gently.
"R-right…" Meryl nodded as everyone else readied themselves while Seryu conjured up a shotgun.
The Nightmarish Flames - Phoenix Behemoth
"What? Too scared to face me?"
The Behemoth spat out black flames to try and separate everyone while Seryu pulled the trigger, hitting Weiss in the shoulder. "Nnngh!" She grunted.
"Weiss!" Mine called out before turning to Seryu. "Alright. You want a shoot out?" She immediately aimed Pumpkin at her and fired, hitting her in the chest to get her attention. "Eyes on me!"
Seryu chuckled as she proceeded to fire at Mine, who quickly rolled out of the way and fired back at Seryu, and while she was keeping her busy, the Behemoth charged directly at the sisters as Dark Weiss swiped at the both of them.
Weiss tried to block with Eiskonigen, but the full force of the Behemoth was enough to knock her on her butt as the Behemoth breathed fire at a scared Meryl, but Sonic pulled her away in a blink of an eye, then turned around and spin dashed into Dark Weiss.
"Ooof!" Dark Weiss grunted and slashed Sonic away, knocking him back but he quickly recovered by rolling into a ball and spinning into the side of the Behemoth while Yang threw a Hadoken at them.
Byleth went into her Awakened form as the Behemoth charged directly at Byleth as Dark Weiss slashed her, but Byleth warped out of the way and appeared on top of the Behemoth, slashing it down to knock it down and then jumped off before snapping her fingers as a a bright pillar of light came crashing down to engulf it.
The Behemoth roared before lighting itself ablaze and producing a massive shockwave of fire, singing everyone in the room as Blake quickly retaliated by firing Plasma Beams at the Behemoth. It then jumped up into the air and curled up into a ball, shooting down flaming feathers.
Dorothea quickly produced a wall of fire to block some of the sharp feathers before launching a Thoron into the Behemoth, then casting Meteor on it. Weiss quickly produced glyphs and then launched chunks of ice at it, while making sure she was in front of Meryl.
"It's not going to eat you… it's not going to eat you…" Meryl kept telling herself as she looked around Weiss to see the Behemoth drooling, as if it was hungry. "Mmmph! It's gonna eat me…!"
"I'm not going to let it eat you. Not this time!"
"Oh, but I'm so hungry, I could eat the two of you!"
Watching that Shroobemoth eat Meryl back then really affected her more than she'd like to admit… Yang thought, transforming into Shin Yang and unleashed a stream of draconic fire at the Behemoth.
Nearby, Seryu teleported toward Mine and sweep kicked her in the liver. "Augh!" She grunted as she fell on her knees.
"What's the matter, human? Can't handle a little kick!" Seryu kicked her in the chin to knock her on her back before she got on top of her and started punching her repeatedly. Mine blocked with her arms as Seryu grabbed her shotgun and started whacking her in the face with it, bruising her wrists before flipping it around and aiming at her face.
"See ya~"
Instinctively, Mine had dark tendrils come out from the ground and plugged the barrel up, which in turn caused the shotgun to backfire and exploded. "Augh!" Seryu yelped as Mine kicked her off of her.
"I liked you better after you had your surgery." Mine said, going into her Demon Soul and then conjured up two shadowy Desert Eagles with purple decals painted on them. Seryu clapped her hands to create two pistols of her own and aimed directly at Mine.
"Let's dance, beastie." Seryu smirked, both of them pulling the triggers.
Dark Weiss crossed her arms, catching them on fire and swung down, creating a massive fiery X that exploded once it hit the ground, the shockwave was enough to blast away Weiss and Byleth, the latter recovered as she brought out her Failnaught replica and fired an arrow, piercing through the Behemoth.
The Phoenix Behemoth jumped into the air and landed in front of Meryl, causing her to shriek as she backed away as the Behemoth crawled over to her.
"A tasty morsel is better when they're afraid~"
Weiss got out of her daze, noticing that it was cornering Meryl while everyone was desperately trying to get the Behemoth away from Meryl, with it using flames to block Sonic from snagging her again.
"Meryl!" Weiss called out to her as she let out a growl, immediately stabbing the ground to create a time dilation glyph, quickly making several glyphs to platform off of as she immediately launched toward those and pushed Meryl out of the way, immediately getting chomped down on instead.
"WEISS!" Everyone yelled as Meryl looked on in horror.
"Weiss…" Meryl's eyes widened before she slowly got up. "Get your filthy jaws OFF OF MY SISTER!" She yelled, immediately calling her phoenix and quickly went into her Phoenix form as she launched toward the Behemoth, pink flames surrounding her fist and punching it hard enough to send it crashing toward the stairs, the mouth letting go of Weiss.
"Nnngh…!" Weiss grunted as she looked up to see Meryl standing in front of her, her weapon drawn.
"You dare try to stand against me? Fine, if you're so eager to get eaten first, I'll chop you up to pieces!"
Weiss got back up, readying Eiskonigen. "You ready?"
"Let's end this." Meryl smirked as the Behemoth got back up and roared, breathing fire as Meryl unleashed a stream of blue fire as Yang and Dorothea jumped in and helped Meryl out as Yang breathed draconic fire pushing it back while Dorothea put her hands down and created plumes of fire from underneath while Blake flanked the Behemoth and shot her as Meryl switched her flames to white, passing through the flame breath and through the Behemoth, causing it to roar in agony as it collapsed.
Sonic immediately dashed forward and used a powerful Sonic Tornado to send the Behemoth up in the air as Meryl went inside and was joined by Byleth, switching to her replica of Amyr as Meryl brought out her gunblade, engulfing it in Blorange fire as they both swung down, where the head was briefly encased in ice until it hit the ground.
Byleth landed on the ground but Meryl used some green fire to pull the Behemoth toward her as she slashed down with pink flames, creating a massive explosion.
Down below, Seryu was knocked back several feet from Mine. "Heh… that explosive knockback you put into your guns is something else… but it won't do shit to me!"
"Quick question. Will a twenty ton monster do "shit" to you?"
"What are you talking about?" Seryu wondered as Mine pointed up as Seryu looked up, and screamed as she tried to get away, only to get crushed by the Behemoth.
"Ooooh!" Mine winced. "Survey says… it will."
Meryl landed on top of the Behemoth, stabbing through its chest repeatedly before unleashing several yellow flames that rained electrical hell on the beast, causing the Behemoth to disappear.

Meryl hopped off as Dark Weiss was all that remained, as even Seryu had disappeared.
BGM: Riku (Kingdom Hearts II)
"I'll handle her." Weiss said as she approached Dark Weiss.
"Hah… hah…" Dark Weiss slowly got up, coughing as she was only able to get on her knees. She looked up to see Weiss glaring at her. "You're still afraid… hah… you're still afraid that I'll come back! After all, she's standing right there! Deep down, you think her insanity will come back and kill everyone! Face it… you're still afraid… you were even afraid when she came back into your life when you came back from Hyrule!"
"I will admit that I was afraid at first, but not only has she saved me once… she's saved me twice. I even tried to protect her from that Behemoth form of yours. True, there's a small part of me that's afraid her insanity may slip out… but I was insane once. She busted me out of it before I did something I regretted… and if she could get me out of it, then I'll be there to get her out of it."

Weiss swung Eiskonigen swiftly, causing Dark Weiss's head to roll off.
"I should've done that earlier." She said as Dark Weiss slowly faded away.

Weiss turned around to look at Meryl, tears rolling down her cheeks… but she was also smiling too as both sisters quickly embraced one another, their foreheads pressing against each other.
"I'm so sorry I ever doubted you…" Weiss whispered.
"It's okay… it's totally understandable while you would think that. While it does sting, I'll never go back to being that insane lunatic I once was…"
Weiss gently kissed her on the forehead. "I love you…"
Meryl kissed her on the cheek. "I love you too…"
"Is… is someone cutting onions in here?" Mine asked, fanning her face as she was trying not to cry. "N-No, I'm not crying! Seriously, I'm not…!"
"I guess that's one part of the PTSD down." Yang said as the sisters held each other a bit longer before breaking the hug.
"Hmm? Hey guys, there's something glowing on the ground." Blake said as Weiss turned to look at it, gently kneeling down and touching it. It felt cool to the touch as it was absorbed into her body.
She closed her eyes and snapped her fingers, as a Kacrackle formed and slammed into the ground.
"Hey, you got your magic back!" Byleth smiled.
Weiss smiled as well. "I sure did."

Meanwhile… with GLaDOS…
"Hmmm…" GLaDOS narrowed her eyes, hiding behind some boulders.
"Do you see anything? What is it?" Cave asked.
"Shhh." She whispered, leaning in closer.
"Nnngh! Rrrgh! Stupid sword…! LAAAWRENCE! Hand me my special gloves!"
"Right away."
"That weird robot needs gloves?" Miku wondered.
"I guess even cyborgs need some protection." Luka guessed.
"Hnnngh! Rrrrgh!" Nefarious clutched his legs on the sword as he desperately tried to get it out of the dirt. "Shovel!"
"Shovel, sir."
Nefarious proceeded to dig around the sword. "If I can't pull it out, I'll just loosen the soil! Hehehehe!" He smirked before climbing out after digging six feet, then he grabbed the sword… only for it to sink into the hole even further.
"...Are you serious!" Nefarious complained.
"That is the most stubborn sword. And to think this might be the sword of Excalibur."
"Well, last I checked, the Sword of Excalibur didn't have eye sockets! Bah!" Nefarious walked off. "I'll just get a different sword. I'm sure they're lying around here somewhere."
Nefarious and Lawrence walked away, the former grumbling to himself.
"Who were those guys?" Cave wondered.
"I have no idea… but I've a feeling they're not exactly friendly…"
