My take on the continuation of the inheratence style -I started writting this roughly 4 years ago. Stumbled upon it recently and really like it - if it gets reads ill post more.

The world is breaking. It began with the Return of Eragon, cracked further with the war in Surda, and the Divide between the Dragon Riders and the Empire has grown too great. It has been eleven years since the War had ended. The Dragon Riders Academy has been built and the first four students arrived. Each of the students have their own weaknesses which they will have to overcome in order to become the Riders they were meant to be. But what happens when one of them is the son of Arya, but not with Eragon?

Eragon, a young boy from Carvahall, is hunting in the north when something goes awry. His life is saved, but perhaps not as he wished it to be. This'll be the story of a man who lives in the Eragon universe and it'll follow his story and how he affects the actual story. The man is powerful in his own right and revels in war and the darkness of it. Hopefully I can do it some justice

Tales of a dragon rider with the actual spirit of a wild dragon spreads throughout Alagaesia and the Varden are desperate to enlist her, but so are the dwarves, the elves and Galbatorix.
