Winterpool- A Haven for Spirit Lovers. During the Trail of Tears in 1830, a brave hero known as Shikoba Skyfire refused to leave his home because he didn't believe in eviction. In order to keep his tribe safe, Shikoba Skyfire covered the village as much as he could, making it a secret hideout for his tribe. He'd even made it a haven for runaway slaves.

After slavery was abolished in 1865, Shikoba made the tribe of, 'Winterpool' an official town. Over the years, Winterpool has become the best place to watch the snow fall down.

Winterpool New York, 2005

In the town square, Wohali Skyfire, the top real estate agent in Winterpool was sharing the foundation of WInterpool with his two daughters. His eldest, 'Enola' and his youngest, 'Taborri'. Enola had short black hair in a ponytail, red eye contact lenses(That covered her natural brown eyes), and wore emo-punk apparel. Taborri, on the other hand, had long black hair, brown eyes, a falcon-shaped birthmark on the left side of her neck, and wore rainbow clothes.

The two of them were observing a Native American warrior statue with a crest of an eagle, falcon, wolf, buffalo, thunderbird, and bear. "Get real, Dad." Enola growled, "You tell this story to us every year, I know the whole thing."

"Come on, " Tabbori said as she nudged her big sister, "It'll be informative, we have to remember our town's origin."

An alarm went off. She looked at her Happy Lamb watch to see that it was 4:00 pm, "Gotta go," Tabbori said to her father, "I promised I would meet up with him at the skate park."

Tabbori hugged her dad, placed on her helmet, and rode off on her music-patterned skateboard. Wohali Skyfire adjusted his glasses and straightened his patriotic-colored suit. "Seems like yesterday Tabbori was singing Christina Aguilera's What A Girl Wants."

Annoyed, Enola said to her father, "I'm off to the bookstore."

"Don't you ever go to comic shops?" Mr. Skyfire asked.

"Dad," Enola growled, "I don't have time for any childish superhero stories, besides those comics will rot brains."

When she was away from her father, Enola said to herself quietly, "His brain is already rotten enough."

At Preston Park, she ran into her two best friends, 'Elan' and 'Sayen'. Elan is a male Native American hippie with shoulder-length brown hair, grey eyes, and hippie apparel. Ever since Tabbori was five years old, Tabbori and Elan have been through everything together. Sayen, on the other hand, has known each other since they both started middle school. Sayen had her long auburn hair in braids, and brown eyes, and wore turquoise 90s apparel.

While Tabbori was watching her two best friends shred on a ramp, she spotted a frantic man exiting the forest nearby. The panicking man was about the same height as Taborri, he had graying red hair, and blue eyes, and wore a brown and blue suit with a rainbow necktie. Immediately, he rushed up to Tabbori, much to her confusion. "Are you Tabbori Skyfire," the frantic man asked, "Youngest daughter of Wohali Skyfire?"

Awkwardly, Tabbori replied, "That's me, can I help you?"

"Listen," the frantic man replied, "I don't have much time. I need you to hide these jewels in your home and NEVER to let it out of sight."

Observing Tabbori's birthmark carefully, the man added "And with that falcon-shaped birthmark, I think The Falcon would suit you."

As he was leaving, Elan witnessed the entire event and started to worry about Tabbori.

That night, after Tabbori had her supper, she went into her bedroom. The room was covered with rockstar posters, a guitar, microphone and recording gear, a telescope, and a bed that was handwoven by local Native American crafters. She opened the Miraculous box and it contained five pieces of jewelry. It had an eagle necklace, a thunderbird pin, a buffalo choker, a wolf belt buckle, bear ring, "I could see some fine-looking animals," Tabbori whispered to herself, "But no falcon,"

From the door, The Skyfire pet husky dog, 'Snowangel' came in and sniffed something on one part of the jewelry box. Snowangel pressed her head amongst the side of the jewelry box and a small secret drawer opened, revealing a beaded necklace with a falcon pendant in the middle.

After Tabbori placed the beaded falcon necklace on, a rainbow falcon spirit came up. Tabbori and Snowangel were in shock to see the small spirit. Fortunately, her parents handling a last-minute house deal while Enola was watching reruns of Gabriela's View to hear or notice what was going on in Tabbori's room.

"Hello," greeted the falcon spirit, "' I am, 'Perra'. The Falcon Kwami. Tell me your name."

"Ugh," Tabbori said, "'Tabbori Skyfire', and this is my dog, 'Snowangel'."

"Skyfire," Perra said, "You're a descendant of the Winterpool hero Shikoba Skyfire. I can tell by your last name and that falcon birthmark on your neck."

"Okay," Tabbori said awkwardly, "Can you tell me what's going on?"

"Glad you ask," Perra said as her eyes showed an illusion of the past, "Magical jewels with wonderful powers were created. They were, 'The Miraculous'. Throughout centuries, they were used for the protection of humanity. The Beads of The Falcon grants the power of Jubilation, meaning happiness. I can cheer anyone up who is feeling down and miserable."

"Just like Happy Lambs and Rainbow Monkeys." Tabbori recalled, "I even own Blossoming Buttercups and Blossoming Bubbles Happy Lambs and Snow Day Rainbow Monkey."

By the window was Elan, he'd come to check on Tabbori. He also explained that he saw what happened between Tabbori and Perra. Determined to keep The Miraculous safe, Tabbori got the Bear Ring and gave it to Elan. After Elan placed the ring on his left ring finger, a tan bear-like creature came out of the ring, "This is, 'Honn'." Perra explained, "He's the Bear Miraculous and really loves honey."

"They don't call me 'Honn' for nothing," Horn said. "I also represent The Power of Recovery. The Bear Ring can cure anything and anyone. Although it can't bring back the dead unless it's necessary."

Elan wasn't sure what was going on but is thrilled to help the innocent men, women, and animals. "We better get Sayen and tell her what's going on tomorrow at school," Tabbori suggested.

The next day, Tabbori and Elan arrived at Winterpool High School. It was a three-story building that looked a little bit like The Oviatt Library in Northridge, California. Their mascot was the snow owl. Walking amongst the cheerleaders, bandmates, actors, and gardeners, they found Sayen riding her skateboard to the school. "Hey-yozies," Sayen said, "Got ya text last night about some strange occurrence."

Not wanting to get caught, they decided to go to the school library for a private talk.

When they got there. Tabbori gave Sayen the thunderbird pin. Sayen was confused but loved gifts, no matter the price and quality. After Sayen placed the Thunderbird pin on, a thunderbird-like experiment came out of the pin. "Whoa!" she said with a big smile, "A rad thunderbird fairy."

"Actually," corrected the Thunderbird Kwami, "I'm, 'Nakaiye' the Thunderbird Kwami. The Thunderbird Pin can make anything perfect in their own way. Nobody is too perfect after all."

"Right on," Sayeen agreed, "If they as too perfect as the transfer student, everyone will go CRAZY. I believe in my own perfection."

All of a sudden, the bell rang and Tabbori, Elan, and Sayen headed off to their homeroom/geography classroom.

In Room A113, Tabbori, Elan, and Sayen took their seats. Suddenly, the new geography teacher came in. He introduced himself as Giles Leeper. Immediately, Tabbori recognized him as the same man she saw yesterday. "Earlier this year," Mr. Leeper announced, "Your geography teacher, 'Mr. Cowgill' has been arrested for smuggling cow skin products outside of the country and into Canada to help with his wife's gift shop-"

"Down with cow skin products!" shouted Elan, "Let the milk flow!"

"You tell 'em, Elan!" Sayen agreed.

Tabbori glared angrily at her friends and Sayen and Elan sat down. "Anyway," Mr. Leeper added, "After two months of searching for a replacement teacher, your principal has decided to pick me due to my expertise in geography and love for Native American culture. In fact, 60% percent of the folks in Winterpool are of Native American heritage."

Confused by what was going on, Tabbori decided to wait until after school to talk to him.

After school, Taborri, Elan, and Sayen came up to him and explained what happened. "About that?" Mr. Leeper said, "You probably don't know the secret TRUE story of Winterpool's foundation."

"That is right, Mr. Leeper," Perra said as she was coming out of Tabbori's mini purse.

Honn flew out of Elan's backpack while Nakaiye cake out of Sayen's jacket pocket. Immediately, Perra showed the vision of the TRUE foundation of Winterpool.

During the hiding of the Indians, Shikoba Skyfire prayed to Unetlanvhi, The King of The Cherokee gods for something to protect his people from eviction. Unetlanvhi gave him a SPECIAL jewelry box containing The Miraculous, special jewels that bestow power. Shikoba fought and protected the Winterpool villagers, along with Eleazer Leeper, Giles ancestor. Eleazer was a schoolmaster whose home was burnt down by accident. He found a home in The Winterpool village when no one else wanted him for being too helpful.

Eleazer wielded the power of The Falcon Miraculous and cheered anyone up during their time of struggle.

In 1848, not long after meeting Harriet Tubman on one of her missions, Eleazer retired so he could help his newfound wife, 'Cassandra' smuggle runaway slaves to Canada.

"I don't think my dad ever told me that side of the story before," Tabbori admitted.

"I've been fond of The Leeper Legacy so much" Mr. Leeper explained, "That I had to return to our origin home to learn more. However, all I could find was The Miraculous Box. I couldn't let it fall into the wrong hands, so I took it upon myself to find six wielders to withhold the Miraculous's great power. So far I found wielders for the falcon, bear, and thunderbird. Now I have to find wielders for the wolf, buffalo, and eagle."

"So," Sayen said, "Are there any villains that we should face? Because like all superheroes, not only do they have to have a sidekick, but also a supervillain to face."

Observing Mr. Leeper's new desk, Tabbori could see the headliner for the school paper, The Winterpool High Write-Up.

Windsor the Winter Owl's newfound hatchling disappeared.

The only clue was that a trail of natural black and purple feathers surrounded the hatchling's cage.

Ever since Winterpool High was established in 1915, we have had at least three mascots. Now our current mascot, Windsor the Winter Owl has become a father. However, his mate, 'Kelly' is sick and the local vet is taking care of her.

Tabbori began to wonder, who took Windsor's hatchlings.
